Which vinyl floor is the top pick in this set?

The top pick is FLOREXP grey planks: 36 peel-and-stick pieces stated at 2.0 mm and 5.02 m², about £35.99 (about £7.17 per m²), with 4.3 from 1,138 amazon.co.uk reviews. The thickness lines agree, the cover is a room-sized pack, and the review file is the largest. It is still a stick-down film, not a specified luxury vinyl tile. There was no laboratory test.

How much does peel-and-stick vinyl flooring cost?

On this extract, pack prices run from about £14.00 to about £52.99. Per square metre on each listing's stated coverage, the range is about £7.17 to £17.21. Divide the shelf price by the listing's square metres, then add about 10% for cuts. A low pack price can be a small area.

Are the vinyl floor packs the same as the vinyl tiles?

No. The vinyl floor set is twelve peel-and-stick planks, squares, or a narrow roll. The vinyl tiles set is seven peel-and-stick packs of its own. Neither set is glue-down luxury vinyl tile, and neither prints an ISO 10874 class. A locked click floor is not in either comparison.

Can these vinyl packs go in a bathroom?

Several listings name bathrooms. A waterproof line describes the vinyl surface. It does not seal the joints or the subfloor, and none of these packs prints a pendulum slip value. It is not a wet-room specification. Call a fitter if the screed may be damp.

What should you check before you buy vinyl tiles?

These seven are peel-and-stick, not glue-down luxury vinyl tile or click flooring. Read stated coverage and, only if square metres are printed, the price per square metre. £9.99 can be the dear end per square metre when the carton is 0.4 m². Total thickness is not a wear layer. None of the seven prints a use class or a pendulum value. The floor underneath needs to be clean, dry and flat.

Which tile repair kit is the top pick?

The top pick is the Tufinein 160 g stone and tile repair kit, about £16.99. It has the largest review sample in the set, 4.4 from 185, a stated 160 g fill, a 1:1 mix and a printed 24-hour cure. Reviews describe a second layer when the first fill sank. It is for a chip on a firm tile, not a hollow or cracked-through tile. There was no laboratory test.

Should you use epoxy paste or wax?

Use two-part epoxy for a chip in a tile that is still stuck. Mix it, tint it, let it cure hard, and sand it flush. Wax bars are melted into a light scratch on a dry surface. In this set only one kit is wax, at about £22.99, with 2.5 from 2 ratings and no waterproof line. Do not put wax on a shower crack.

Can a kit repair a cracked or hollow floor tile?

Not when the crack runs through the tile, or when the tile sounds hollow or moves. A kit is for a glaze chip on a tile that is still stuck. Paste on the face does not fill a void under the tile. These pastes are not tile adhesive and not grout. A moving tile needs re-bedding.

Who repairs a chipped bath in a private rented home in England?

In England, GOV.UK says the landlord is responsible for baths, sinks and basins, and a tenant should only repair what the agreement allows. Report a leak rather than filling it. That GOV.UK page is not the law in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. A kit does not replace the 30-day right to reject goods that are not as described.
