Cork floor is one tile in three amazon.co.uk pack sizes. Each tile is 300 mm by 300 mm by 4 mm, self-adhesive, and unsealed on the maker's page. Shoppers compare cork with vinyl or laminate for a warm, quiet floor. These packs suit a wall, a pin board or a small trial. A typical listing does not state BS EN 12104, a use class, a fire class or a slip class. How glue-down, click and peel-and-stick differ is in the [cork floor buying guide](/hub/flooring/cork-floor/sub/cork-floor-buying-guide). Glue-down tiles are often about 4 mm of cork, stuck down and sometimes sealed on site. Click planks are about 9.5–10.5 mm, cork on an HDF core on cork, locked like laminate with an expansion gap. Self-adhesive 4 mm tiles are the amazon.co.uk set here. The maker's page calls them unsealed and still suggests a flooring adhesive.

The best Cork floors in detail

Treefloor cork tiles, 20 pack

Rank 1

Treefloor cork tiles, 20 pack

∼£30

Our view

The Treefloor TF3020 is twenty of the same 300 × 300 × 4 mm self-adhesive tiles at £29.99, about 1.8 m² and £1.50 a tile. On amazon.co.uk this pack ranks 127 in Flooring and the included line lists an install flyer with the tiles. The 4.4 from 670 reviews is the same opening file as the 9-tile and 25-tile ASINs, so you should not add those counts together. Reviewers praise a first-time stick and a warmer feel on concrete, and one buyer used the tiles on walls and floors as a sound layer, with no decibel figure on the listing. Wear is the repeated limit: an unfinished surface ruts under a knee or shoe, and a low-traffic office floor still marked after four coats of yacht varnish. Sealing curled or shrank tiles in reviews dated 27 October 2025, 22 July 2026 and 28 September 2026. Squareness varies, so edges do not meet all round, and the mounting field still says Wall Mount. In this set it is the top pick when you want the pack whose listing sits in Flooring and confirms the flyer, and it remains a 4 mm peel tile rather than a click cork floor.

Pros

  • Twenty tiles, 1.8 m², at £29.99 (about £1.50 a tile)
  • Install flyer listed with the tiles
  • Ranked 127 in Flooring, unlike the 25-tile pack
  • Knife-cut and first-time stick in the shared UK reviews
  • Used under vinyl and on walls in those reviews

Cons

  • Same 4.4 from 670 review file as the other two packs
  • Too soft for regular foot traffic; varnish did not stop marks
  • Curling and shrinkage after sealing in several UK reviews
  • Mounting type is Wall Mount on a page that also says flooring

Best for: You want about 1.8 m² of this tile with the flyer confirmed, for a wall, a pin board, or a light underlayer.

Less suitable: A main hallway, a wet room, or a buyer who needs a thicker cork floor with its own review file.

Common questions

Are these cork tiles self-adhesive?

Yes. The title says self-adhesive. The backing type on the listing is cork.

Does the listing include use as flooring?

The bullet lists flooring, wall coverings, bulletin boards, and coasters. The same listing sets mounting type to Wall Mount. Bathroom use is not stated.

What is in the 20-tile pack?

Included components are 20 Treefloor self-adhesive cork tiles and an install flyer. The title states 300 mm × 300 mm × 4 mm.

Treefloor cork tiles, 25 pack

Rank 2

Treefloor cork tiles, 25 pack

∼£35

Our view

The Treefloor TF3025 lists 25 of the same 300 × 300 × 4 mm tiles at £34.99, about 2.25 m² and £1.40 a tile, the lowest unit price in this set. The amazon.co.uk rank is 1 in Cork Raw Materials, not the Flooring rank on the 9-tile and 20-tile pages, and the saved listing has no included-components line, so an install flyer is not confirmed. Stars are again 4.4 from 670, and the first 50 UK review blocks match the other two ASINs. Buyers describe an easy stick if you line the tile up once, because repositioning can pull paint, and a warmer feel at 4 mm on concrete in a review from 20 October 2024. The wear notes travel with that file: crumbs at the cut edge, shade differences, chips in the pack, and a surface that marks under shoes. One reviewer added extra adhesive when the peel coat would not hold a curling edge. It is the best value pack when you are buying square metres of this exact tile and you do not need the flyer confirmed on the page. It is a weak choice if you wanted a flooring-ranked listing or a surface that stands up to daily walking.

Pros

  • Twenty-five tiles, 2.25 m², at £34.99 (about £1.40 a tile)
  • Lowest price per tile and per square metre of the three packs
  • Same peel-and-stick 4 mm cork as the flooring-ranked packs
  • Reviewers report a warm feel on concrete and use under stick-on tiles

Cons

  • Install flyer is not confirmed on this listing
  • Ranked in Cork Raw Materials, not in Flooring
  • Shared review file, including softness and curl after sealing
  • Mounting type is Wall Mount, and bathroom use is not stated

Best for: You want the most coverage per pound of this 4 mm tile and can fit it without a flyer on the page.

Less suitable: You need the Flooring rank and a listed install flyer, or a floor that will take shoes every day.

Treefloor cork tiles, 9 pack

∼£20

Our view

The Treefloor TF3009 is nine self-adhesive cork tiles, 300 × 300 × 4 mm, at £19.99 on amazon.co.uk, which is 0.81 m² and about £2.22 a tile. The star line is 4.4 from 670 reviews, and the first 50 UK blocks are the same text as on the 20-tile and 25-tile listings, so those stars are one file, not three tests. Reviewers often cut the tiles with a knife and stick them first time, including as a warmer layer on concrete and under vinyl. The same file says the 4 mm surface is too soft for a walked-on floor: one low-traffic office still marked after four coats of yacht varnish on 17 August 2025. Edges are not always square, granules crumble when cut, and the peel coat has come off damp emulsion. A bullet lists flooring while the mounting field says Wall Mount, and bathroom use is not stated. It is the pack for a small trial or a pin board, and a poor buy if you need more than a square metre.

Pros

  • Nine 300 × 300 × 4 mm tiles, 0.81 m², at £19.99
  • Install flyer is listed in the included components
  • Ranked 127 in Flooring (DIY & Tools) on amazon.co.uk
  • Reviewers cut them with a knife and stick them first time
  • Some UK buyers used them under vinyl for a warmer layer

Cons

  • About £2.22 a tile, the dearest pack in this set
  • Only 0.81 m², so a room needs several packs
  • Shared 4.4 / 670 review file, including marks after yacht varnish
  • Wall Mount on the spec while a bullet also says flooring

Best for: You want a small trial of this 4 mm tile, a wall, or a pin board, and you do not need a full room.

Less suitable: A walked-on room, a bathroom, or a job that needs more than about 0.8 m² from one pack.

How we compared

Scores use the three amazon.co.uk Treefloor listings and the review notes already on file. This is not a lab test. A 4.4-star line is not scored as proof of a hard-wearing cork floor when the same UK review file says the 4 mm surface marks under shoes. The highest score is the top pick. The lowest price per square metre is the best value. One of each. The weights below sum to 100.

1

Listing fit

25%

A Flooring rank and a confirmed install flyer score higher than a rank in Cork Raw Materials with no included-components line. Every pack is marked down for a Wall Mount field on a page whose bullet also says flooring.

2

Review outcome

25%

Easy cutting and a first-time stick score. Marks after varnish, curl after sealing, crumbly edges, and a peel coat that fails on damp emulsion are deducted equally, because the review blocks match.

3

Coverage

20%

Square metres come from the pack: 0.09 m² a tile. A larger pack scores higher. None of these packs covers a whole room.

4

Amazon evidence

15%

The 4.4 from 670 is one shared file. It is not added three times, and it is not treated as three separate tests.

5

Cork floor buying guide

A cork floor is agglomerated cork sold as glue-down tiles, as floating click planks with an HDF core, or as thin unfinished self-adhesive tiles. The amazon.co.uk products on this page are the third type: one Treefloor tile in three pack sizes. Judge a real floor on the core, the finish and the fitting sheet before you compare the pack price. If the room can flood, or a lease wants a use class and a fire class, this peel tile is the wrong product.

What a cork floor is

Cork floor in the UK is sold in three constructions. Glue-down tiles are often about 4 mm of cork, stuck down and sometimes sealed on site. Click planks are about 9.5–10.5 mm, cork on an HDF core on cork, locked like laminate with an expansion gap. Self-adhesive 4 mm tiles are the amazon.co.uk set on this page. Treefloor makes them for Boulder Developments Ltd. The listing gives China as the origin. The maker's page calls them unsealed and still suggests a flooring adhesive.

Best for

  • Renters and DIY households fitting a wall, a pin board or a small trial
  • A dry room where 4 mm cork is only a warmer layer under another finish
  • Buyers comparing price per square metre of this exact unsealed tile

Not ideal for

  • A bathroom, a wet room or a room that can flood
  • A hallway that takes shoes every day
  • A lease that wants a named use class and a fire class

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

Reading the pack price as a finished floor

About £15.55–£24.68 per square metre is the unsealed Treefloor tile before sealer. A factory-finished click floor was listed from about £54 per square metre for material alone. CountryLife's rough guide puts fitted work much higher, and that guide is not an official index.

  2. 2

Sealing thin tiles with a general varnish

Unfinished tiles need a cork floor finish after they are stuck. A general varnish is not that finish. The shared UK reviews include curling or shrinkage after sealing, and marks that remained after yacht varnish on a low-traffic office floor.

  3. 3

Quoting Part E from a comfort claim

Approved Document E judges the whole separating floor. A warmer feel, or a review that calls the tile a sound layer, is not a site test, and these listings publish no decibel figure. Do not treat the tile as a replacement for an acoustic underlay.

What to weigh up

Construction and finish

High

Construction decides the room. Pure cork glue-down is often about 4 mm, stuck down and sometimes sealed on site. HDF click is about 9.5–10.5 mm, cork on a core on cork, locked like laminate with an expansion gap. UK suppliers refuse that core in bathrooms. Self-adhesive 4 mm tiles are the Amazon set: unsealed on the maker's page, with bullets that also name walls and pin boards, and a mounting field that says Wall Mount. Finish sits on that choice. Factory lacquer can be damp-mopped.

Moisture, heat and price per square metre

High

BS 8203:2017 is the installation code and includes cork. Trade explainers put the resilient-floor hygrometer line at 75% RH. Several cork sheets still say 65% RH. The tighter product sheet wins. Over underfloor heating, cap the floor surface at the sheet's figure, commonly 27 °C or 28 °C, with a probe in the floor. Rugs create hot spots. These Treefloor listings do not state those limits, so do not borrow a figure from another brand. BS EN 12104:2023 specifies agglomerated cork floor tiles.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

A wall, pin board or small trial

You want a small run of this 4 mm tile, not a full room. The 9-tile pack is 0.81 m² at £19.99, with an install flyer listed. It is the dearest pack per tile, and bathroom use is not stated.

About 1.8 m² with the flyer listed

You want the pack whose amazon.co.uk listing sits in Flooring and names an install flyer. The 20-tile pack is about 1.8 m² at £29.99. It is still a 4 mm peel tile, not a click cork floor.

The most square metres per pound

You are buying coverage of this exact tile and can fit it without a flyer on the page. The 25-tile pack is 2.25 m² at £34.99, about £15.55 per square metre, the lowest in this set.

Common questions about Cork floors

Which pack is the top pick in this cork floor comparison?
The top pick in this set is the Treefloor 20-tile pack, TF3020, at about £29.99. It covers about 1.8 m², the amazon.co.uk listing ranks in Flooring, and the included-components line names an install flyer. Softness, curl after sealing and the shared review file are deducted. It remains a 4 mm unsealed peel tile. It is not a factory-finished click floor, and the listing does not name BS EN 12104 or a use class.
How much do these cork floor tiles cost?
On 19 October 2026 the shelf prices were £19.99 for nine tiles (about 0.81 m² and about £24.68 per square metre), £29.99 for 20 tiles (about £16.66 per square metre) and £34.99 for 25 tiles (about £15.55 per square metre). Sealer is extra. That band is this dual-use tile, not a click floor. UK shops were listing factory-finished click cork from about £54 per square metre for material alone.
What should you check before you buy cork floor tiles?
Start with the construction: pure cork glue-down, HDF click, or unsealed peel-and-stick. The room follows from the core. Then the finish. Factory lacquer can be damp-mopped. Unfinished tiles need a cork floor finish after they are stuck, and a general varnish is not that finish. A use class under BS EN ISO 10874 and a fitting sheet for moisture and underfloor heating matter more than the word certified. Compare price per square metre, including sealer.
Are the Treefloor tiles a finished cork floor?
The maker's page calls these tiles unsealed and still suggests a flooring adhesive. The amazon.co.uk bullets name flooring, walls, pin boards and coasters, while the mounting field says Wall Mount. Reviewers cut them with a knife and stick them first time, including as a warmer layer on concrete. The same review file says the 4 mm surface marks under shoes, including after yacht varnish, and that sealing has curled tiles. A room walked on every day is a poor match.
Can you fit these cork tiles in a bathroom?
Bathroom use is not stated on these three listings. UK suppliers refuse HDF click in bathrooms because of the core. A pure-cork glue-down tile can be sold for a bathroom and still exclude wet rooms from the warranty, so pure cork is not one promise. These packs are 4 mm peel-and-stick tiles with a Wall Mount field. They are not a named bathroom system, and they are not a substitute for a moisture reading under BS 8203.
Is 4.4 from 670 reviews three separate tests?
No. The 4.4 from 670 ratings is one shared file. The opening UK review blocks match on the 9-tile, 20-tile and 25-tile listings, so you should not add those counts together. A 4.4-star line is not proof of a hard-wearing floor when the same notes say the surface marks under shoes. A rank of 1 in Cork Raw Materials is a category rank, not a floor test.
How do these tiles differ from click vinyl?
These three packs are 4 mm self-adhesive cork, unsealed, sold for floors, walls, pin boards and coasters. They are not a locking plank. Click vinyl is a floating floor with a wear layer, and it is the page to open when you want a room-sized DIY floor rather than a peel tile. Cork click planks, which are not in this set, use an HDF core and are a third construction. The locking floor is on the click vinyl comparison.

Our verdict

In this set the top pick is the Treefloor 20-tile pack. It has the Flooring rank and a listed install flyer, at about £29.99 for 1.8 m². The best value is the 25-tile pack, about £15.55 per square metre, without a confirmed flyer and with a rank in Cork Raw Materials. The 9-tile pack is the small trial. All three share one review file, and none is a factory-finished click floor.
