The best click vinyl floors, compared.

Top pick: FLOORNATION SPC, London Fog Best value: Grandismo click vinyl, White Cliffs – Same about £29.99 per square metre and 0.55 mm wear layer, with 4.3 from 79 reviews. Chipped joints and surface marks are deducted, and underlay is still extra. Updated October 2026.

Click vinyl is a locking luxury-vinyl or rigid-core plank you float over a dry, flat subfloor without glue. You might choose it for a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower tray, or a hall, where a laminate fibreboard core is the worry. The checks are the wear layer, whether underlay is already attached, and whether the listing states a real use class. All four amazon.co.uk listings kept state a 0.55 mm wear layer. None print an EN ISO 10874 class, so commercial on the page is not class 33. The warranty line asks for underlay, which is not in the pack. You lock the planks and lay them over a dry, flat subfloor. Grandismo is that pair: the title says rigid core, the material line says vinyl, the thickness is 4 mm, and the warranty line says to use underlay. How to choose is set out in the [click vinyl buying guide](/hub/flooring/click-vinyl/sub/click-vinyl-buying-guide).

Question 1 of 2

What do you want under the plank?

The best click vinyl floors in detail

FLOORNATION SPC, London Fog

Rank 1

FLOORNATION SPC, London Fog

∼£56

Our view

The London Fog FLOORNATION pack is eight 6.5 mm SPC planks covering 1.7568 m² for £55.99, which is about £31.87 per square metre if you divide those two figures on the listing. A 1.5 mm IXPE layer is already attached, and the bullet says you do not buy a separate underlay. Kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms and utility rooms are named, with underfloor heating stated up to 27°C and a warning against prolonged sun, for example in a conservatory. The wear layer is 0.55 mm, the same figure as the Grandismo packs, and no wear-warranty period is stated. Amazon shows 5.0 from three ratings, and those reviews are short: the colour looked good, the click was fairly easy, and the floor felt solid. Three ratings are too few to show how the locks, the colour or a winter on heating actually behave.

Pros

  • 1.5 mm IXPE already attached, so a separate underlay is not part of the buy
  • Underfloor heating stated up to 27°C
  • 6.5 mm SPC at about £31.87 per m², from £55.99 divided by 1.7568 m²
  • The three reviews call it solid underfoot and fairly easy to fit

Cons

  • 5.0 out of 5 from only three short reviews
  • No wear-warranty period is stated
  • The bullet names wet rooms, which is not a tanking specification

Best for: You want SPC with foam already on the plank and a printed 27°C heating line, and you can live with a listing that has three reviews.

Less suitable: You want a large UK review sample before you order a whole flat, or a stated wear warranty in years.

Common questions

Does this pack include underlay?

Yes. The listing says a 1.5 mm IXPE layer is already attached and that you do not buy a separate underlay.

What heating limit is stated?

The bullet says underfloor heating up to 27°C. It also says to avoid prolonged direct sunlight, for example in a conservatory.

How many reviews are on the listing?

The customer-reviews line is 5.0 out of 5 from 3 ratings. The three reviews on the listing are short and positive.

Grandismo click vinyl, grey

Rank 2

Grandismo click vinyl, grey

∼£30

Our view

Across 88 amazon.co.uk reviews, the grey Grandismo covers a room in 1 m² packs of 4 mm click vinyl with a 0.55 mm wear layer, and reviewers score it with a blade and snap it rather than saw it. Several people have laid it in a bathroom and describe it as waterproof in ordinary use, and one buyer found it easier to work than laminate. The listing tells you to use Grandismo LVT underlay, which is not in the £29.99 pack, and one hallway job felt expensive once that extra roll was in the sums. The page does not print an underfloor-heating maximum. One review says the floor bowed and softened when the heating came on, even with a 10 mm gap at the skirting. A follow-up order arrived in the wrong colour, and another reviewer found the 4 mm board soft and bouncy underfoot.

Pros

  • 0.55 mm wear layer on a 4 mm pack, with a stated 30-year wear warranty*
  • Reviewers score and snap it with a blade, and several call the click fit straightforward
  • Bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dining are named on the listing
  • 4.4 out of 5 from 88 amazon.co.uk reviews, the largest sample in this set

Cons

  • Underlay is not in the pack; the warranty line asks for Grandismo LVT underlay
  • No heating temperature is printed, and one review reports bowing and softening
  • A follow-up order arrived in the wrong colour
  • Soft, bouncy feel underfoot in one review

Best for: You are flooring a bathroom, kitchen or living room with 4 mm click vinyl at about £29.99 per m², and you will buy the matching underlay.

Less suitable: You need a printed underfloor-heating limit, foam already on the plank, or a rigid 6.5 mm feel underfoot.

Common questions

Does this pack include underlay?

No. The listing tells you to use Grandismo LVT underlay with this flooring. The 1 m² pack is the vinyl only.

Is a bathroom named on the listing?

Yes. The title names a bathroom, kitchen, lounge, and dining area. It does not describe a tanked wet room.

Does the listing state an underfloor heating limit?

No. One review says the floor bowed and softened when the heating came on, even with a 10 mm gap. The product page does not print a maximum temperature.

Grandismo click vinyl, White Cliffs

Rank 3

Grandismo click vinyl, White Cliffs

∼£30

Our view

The White Cliffs Grandismo is the same 4 mm click vinyl, with a 0.55 mm wear layer, sold at £29.99 per square metre, and 79 amazon.co.uk reviews average 4.3. First-time fitters describe flexible boards that click together, and the review set includes an en suite, other bathrooms and a conservatory. One seller took surplus back on a large order. The colour line on Amazon has been read as White Oak while the pack was labelled White Cliffs, so the name on the box is the one that matters before you open a second room. Several reviews say the click joints arrived chipped across boxes, and the seller was described as unhelpful. Trainers and rubber toys left scratches and stains that a steam mop did not lift. The box did not include fitting instructions, and one buyer nearly cut the planks with a saw.

Pros

  • Same £29.99 per m² and 0.55 mm wear layer as the grey Grandismo
  • Reviewers report an easy click fit, including a first-time fitter
  • Used in an en suite, other bathrooms and a conservatory in the review set
  • Surplus taken back on one large order

Cons

  • Chipped or damaged click joints reported across boxes
  • Scratches and stains from trainers and rubber toys
  • The Amazon colour text did not match the White Cliffs name on the pack
  • No fitting instructions in the box

Best for: You want the White Cliffs colour at the same about £29.99 per m², and you will check every click edge before it goes down in the middle of the room.

Less suitable: You want undamaged joints straight out of the box, a printed heating limit, or underlay already attached.

Common questions

Does this pack include underlay?

No. The warranty line says to use Grandismo LVT underlay with this flooring.

Which colour is on the listing?

The colour field says White Cliffs. A review says the page had been read as White Oak, while the pack was labelled White Cliffs.

What do the reviews say about damage?

Several reviews praise an easy click fit. One review says joints arrived chipped in every box. Others mention scratches and stains from trainers and rubber toys.

FLOORNATION SPC, Fog Gray

Rank 4

FLOORNATION SPC, Fog Gray

∼£56

Our view

The Fog Gray FLOORNATION listing states the same pack shape as the London Fog SPC: 6.5 mm in the bullets, a 0.55 mm wear layer, 1.5 mm IXPE already attached, eight planks, 1.7568 m² and £55.99, with heating up to 27°C. The title says Fog Gray and the technical colour says London Fog. The bullets say 6.5 mm while the technical block prints 120 x 20 x 0.05 cm, so the thickness on the page does not agree with itself. The listing was first available on 20 April 2026. There is no customer-reviews line, which means there is no star rating and no UK review text for the click, the colour or the board you receive. A bullet also says tool-free DIY fitting, which still describes a floating click floor rather than a glued membrane.

Pros

  • 1.5 mm IXPE attached, on the same stated build as the London Fog pack
  • Heating limit stated at 27°C
  • £55.99 for a stated 1.7568 m²

Cons

  • No star rating and no review text on the listing
  • The title says Fog Gray and the technical colour says London Fog
  • Thickness figures disagree: 6.5 mm in the bullets and 0.05 cm in the technical block

Best for: You have already handled the London Fog SPC and you are checking this colour name against the label on the pack before you order.

Less suitable: You are buying a first floor from an unrated listing, or you need one thickness figure you can trust on the page.

Common questions

Does this pack include underlay?

Yes. The listing says 1.5 mm IXPE is built in.

Why do the thickness figures disagree?

The bullets say 6.5 mm. The technical block prints product dimensions of 120 x 20 x 0.05 cm. Both figures are on the listing.

Is there a star rating?

No customer-reviews line is on this listing, so the rating is n/a. Do not use the score from a different ASIN.

How we compared

Four amazon.co.uk click vinyl listings were scored from the listing facts and review notes captured on 19 October 2026. There is no lab test. The highest score is the top pick. The best value is the colourway at about £29.99 per square metre, with underlay still extra. A five-star line from three ratings does not outrank 4.4 from 88 reviews. A missing heating temperature is a deduction, not a guess of 27°C. Commercial and ISO 9001 are not scored as class 33. A wet-room word in a bullet is not scored as a tanked floor.

1

Amazon stars and review count

35%

The amazon.co.uk star average is read with the number of ratings behind it. Five stars from three ratings do not outrank 4.4 from 88 reviews. A listing with no star line scores at the bottom of this criterion.

2

Wear layer and stated core

25%

All four listings state a 0.55 mm wear layer. Whether the page says what the core is matters. The shared wear layer is not a reason to rank a 6.5 mm plank above a 4 mm plank by thickness alone.

3

Underlay and heating limit

20%

A pack with underlay already attached scores on that point. A printed heating limit scores. A missing temperature is a deduction. Grandismo’s warranty line still asks for a separate underlay.

4

Price against coverage

15%

Price is judged against the stated coverage. About £55.99 divided by 1.7568 m² is about £31.87 per square metre. That sum is labelled as division, not as a printed unit price.

5

Listing consistency

5%

Chipped joints, a colour-name clash, a thickness line that disagrees with itself, and a listing with no star line are deductions. They are taken from the listing and the review notes, not from a lab.

Click vinyl buying guide

This guide follows the four amazon.co.uk listings kept on 19 October 2026. It does not add a lab score, a use class the pages do not print, or a shop price from outside those listings. Wear layer, core, underlay, heating and the size of the UK review sample decide the order.

What is click vinyl?

Click vinyl in this set is a floating floor. You lock the planks and lay them over a dry, flat subfloor. Glue-down LVT is stuck down and is not this category. Flexible or rigid-core click vinyl locks and floats. Grandismo is that pair: the title says rigid core, the material line says vinyl, the thickness is 4 mm, and the warranty line says to use Grandismo LVT underlay. SPC is a stone-polymer core.

Best for

  • A kitchen, hall or bathroom with a shower tray, on a flat dry subfloor
  • A first click-vinyl fit where you will buy the underlay the warranty line names

Not ideal for

  • A true wet room, or a slab that is damp or has no damp-proof membrane
  • A second underlay laid under IXPE that is already attached to the plank

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

Comparing a pack price with a price per square metre

Grandismo is about £29.99 per stated square metre. FLOORNATION is about £55.99 for 1.7568 m², which divides to about £31.87 per square metre. That unit price was not printed as its own line. Add Grandismo’s separate underlay before you treat the two shelf prices as the same kind of figure.

  2. 2

Forgetting underlay, or stacking a second one

The Grandismo warranty line says to use Grandismo LVT underlay, and it is not in the pack. FLOORNATION already has 1.5 mm IXPE attached. A second underlay under that foam is a known way to stress click joints.

  3. 3

Reading 5.0 from three ratings as the winner

London Fog is 5.0 from three ratings. Grey Grandismo is 4.4 from 88, and White Cliffs is 4.3 from 79. Fog Gray has no star line. Do not copy the London Fog stars onto Fog Gray.

What to weigh up

Wear layer, then thickness

High

The first check is the wear layer, then total thickness. All four amazon.co.uk listings in this set state 0.55 mm. Wood and Beyond’s UK guide treats about 0.5 mm as heavy domestic, and 0.55 mm and above as heavy domestic or light commercial. That is a guide to the millimetres of wear layer, not a use class printed on these packs. None of these listings print an EN ISO 10874 class. Commercial and ISO 9001 are not scored as class 33.

Core, underlay and heating

High

The second check is the core and the underlay rule. Grandismo, ASINs B07CLDQGBV and B07C49TS79, is titled rigid core. The material line says vinyl, the board is 4 mm, and the warranty line says to use Grandismo LVT underlay. That underlay is not in the about £29.99 pack. FLOORNATION, ASINs B0GDSSXVVT and B0GXX67S3Q, states an SPC core, 6.5 mm in the bullets, with 1.5 mm IXPE already attached. The London Fog bullet says you do not buy a separate underlay.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

First floor in a kitchen or tray bathroom

You want 4 mm click vinyl at about £29.99 per square metre, and you will buy the matching underlay. Grey Grandismo has the largest review sample in this set, 4.4 from 88 reviews, and the listing names a bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dining area. You still need a flat, dry base.

Heated floor with foam already on the plank

You want SPC with 1.5 mm IXPE already attached and a printed 27°C heating line. London Fog states both. The pack is about £55.99 for 1.7568 m². Five stars from three short reviews are too few to show how the locks behave over a winter on heating.

White Cliffs at the same square-metre price

You want the White Cliffs colour at the same about £29.99 per square metre, and you will check every click edge before it goes down in the middle of the room. Reviews include an en suite and a first-time fitter. Chipped joints and marks from trainers are already in the score. Underlay is still extra.

Common questions about click vinyl floors

Which click vinyl is the top pick in this set?
In this set of four amazon.co.uk listings, the top pick is the grey Grandismo click vinyl. It scores highest because the listing shows 4.4 from 88 reviews, a 0.55 mm wear layer, and about £29.99 per square metre. Underlay is still extra, and the page does not print a heating limit. That is a ranking inside this set. It is not a claim that this is the best click vinyl in the UK, and there is no lab test.
What does click vinyl cost on amazon.co.uk in this set?
On 19 October 2026 the Grandismo packs were about £29.99 per square metre, and underlay was not included. The FLOORNATION packs were about £55.99 for 1.7568 m². Dividing those two figures gives about £31.87 per square metre. That unit price was not printed as its own line. Wider shop prices, and a March 2026 guide of about £18–£35 per square metre, are not these amazon.co.uk shelf prices. About 10 percent extra for a simple rectangle is a rule of thumb.
What should you check before you buy click vinyl?
Start with the wear layer, then thickness. These four listings all state 0.55 mm, and a 6.5 mm board is not automatically tougher than a 4 mm board with the same wear layer. Then check the core, whether underlay is already attached, and whether a heating limit is printed. None of them print an EN ISO 10874 class. A large UK review count matters more than five stars from three ratings. Read the colour name on the pack.
Does a waterproof bullet mean a wet room?
No. A bathroom or kitchen in the title, or a waterproof bullet, is not a tanked wet room. BS EN 16511 puts frequently wetted rooms in scope only if the producer recommends them. A floating click joint is not a tanked floor. A tray bathroom and a room that stays wet are different jobs. If the slab is damp or has no damp-proof membrane, call a fitter before you buy these planks.
Is underlay included with these click vinyl packs?
It depends on the brand. Grandismo does not include underlay. The warranty line says to use Grandismo LVT underlay, so about £29.99 per square metre is the vinyl only. FLOORNATION states that 1.5 mm IXPE is already attached and that you do not buy a separate underlay. A second underlay under that foam is a known way to stress the click joints. Add the Grandismo underlay before you compare that square-metre price with a FLOORNATION pack price.
Can these click vinyl packs go over underfloor heating?
Only where the listing prints a limit. CFA guidance treats trouble as likely if the subfloor-to-floor interface exceeds 27°C, quoting BS 8203. Both FLOORNATION listings state heating up to 27°C and warn against prolonged sun in a conservatory. The Grandismo pages do not print a maximum. One grey review reports bowing and softening when the heating came on. A missing figure is not a guess of 27°C. If the surface would run hotter than the brand allows, call a specialist.
When should you look at a different floor?
Laminate has a wood-fibre core and swells if water reaches it. Click vinyl in this set is a locking vinyl or SPC plank. Sheet vinyl is the usual safety floor for a true wet room. If you want a different material, the cork floor comparison is a separate set of listings. Cork is not one of these four ASINs. Look there when you have already decided against a vinyl click plank, not because a click-vinyl bullet says waterproof.

Our verdict

In this set of four amazon.co.uk listings, the top pick is the grey Grandismo at about £29.99 per square metre, with 4.4 from 88 reviews and a 0.55 mm wear layer. Separate underlay and no stated heating limit are already in that score. The best value is White Cliffs Grandismo at the same price per square metre, 4.3 from 79 reviews, after deductions for chipped joints and surface marks. London Fog SPC has 1.5 mm IXPE attached and a stated 27°C line, but 5.0 from three reviews does not outrank the larger Grandismo samples. Fog Gray has no star line, and the colour name and the thickness figures on that page disagree.
