Best click vinyl flooring

Updated: October 2026

You want a floor from this amazon.co.uk set, and a 5.0 score is sitting next to a 4.4 that has far more reviews behind it. The prices are close once you do the pack maths, and two of the boards are the same Grandismo plank in different colours. This page names a top pick and a best value inside these four listings only. It is not a UK-wide test, and it is not a fitting lesson. The raw comparison is the [click vinyl comparison](/hub/flooring/click-vinyl). Specs in the abstract are on the [click vinyl flooring buying guide](/hub/flooring/click-vinyl/sub/click-vinyl-buying-guide). Top pick in this set

The top pick is the grey Grandismo, ASIN B07C49TS79. It is 4 mm click vinyl with a 0.55 mm wear layer, sold at £29.99 per square metre in a 1 m² pack. Amazon shows 4.4 out of 5 from 88 reviews, the largest sample here. Reviewers score the board with a blade and snap it, and more than one person has laid it in a bathroom and described ordinary water resistance in use. One buyer found it easier to work than laminate. The listing names a bathroom, a kitchen, a lounge and a dining area, and it states a 30-year wear warranty with an asterisk. That asterisk is on the page. It is not a guarantee we have tested. The skip condition is heat, and it is specific. The listing does not print an underfloor-heating maximum. One review says the floor bowed and softened when the heating came on, even with a 10 mm gap at the skirting. If your room has mats or a water loop, this top pick is the wrong default until you have a temperature from Grandismo, not from a different brand’s bullet. Underlay is the other condition. The warranty line tells you to use Grandismo LVT underlay, and the pack does not include it. A hallway buyer already found the job expensive once that extra roll entered the sums. A follow-up order also arrived in the wrong colour, so a second room should be checked against the first box, not against the photo.

Best value

The best value is the White Cliffs Grandismo, ASIN B07CLDQGBV, at the same £29.99 per square metre and the same 0.55 mm wear layer. Amazon shows 4.3 from 79 reviews. You are not paying a premium for the paler colour, and you are not getting a thicker film either. First-time fitters describe flexible boards that click together. The review set includes an en suite, other bathrooms and a conservatory. One seller took surplus back on a large order. That is the value case: the same shelf price as the top pick, with a real review file, if the colour on the pack is the one you wanted. Best value still needs a separate underlay. The warranty line is the same Grandismo LVT roll, and it is not in the 1 m² box. Treat £29.99 as the vinyl, not as the finished floor. Several people found click joints chipped across boxes, and one described the seller as unhelpful. Trainers and rubber toys left marks a steam mop did not lift. The Amazon colour text has been read as White Oak while the pack said White Cliffs. The box did not include fitting instructions, and one buyer nearly reached for a saw. Inspect the locks before they disappear under the next row. If the edges are already chewed, this is no longer the cheap way to a quiet floor.

The SPC packs

London Fog, ASIN B0GDSSXVVT, is the pack you open when you want the foam already on the plank. Eight 6.5 mm SPC boards cover 1.7568 m² for £55.99. Divide those two stated figures and you get about £31.87 per square metre, with 1.5 mm IXPE included. The listing says you do not buy a separate underlay. It also states underfloor heating up to 27°C, and it tells you to avoid prolonged sun, for example in a conservatory. The wear layer is still 0.55 mm. No wear-warranty period is stated. Kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms and utility rooms are named in the bullets. A wet-room word is not a tanked shower floor. That limit is on the click vinyl bathroom page. Amazon shows 5.0 from three ratings. The three reviews are short and positive: the colour looked right once it was down, the click was fairly easy, and the floor felt solid. A perfect score on three ratings does not beat 4.4 from 88, which is why London Fog is not the top pick. It is the rational buy when attached underlay and a printed 27°C line matter more to you than review volume, and when you accept that you are early on the listing. Fog Gray, ASIN B0GXX67S3Q, states the same SPC build, the same £55.99 and the same 1.7568 m². It has no star line. Do not copy the 5.0 from London Fog onto it. The title says Fog Gray and the technical colour says London Fog. The bullets say 6.5 mm and the technical block prints 120 x 20 x 0.05 cm. Until you have seen the pack, you do not know which of those words you will receive.

Who should skip them

Skip the grey Grandismo if the room has underfloor heating and you need a stated cap, or if you refuse to buy a separate underlay. Skip White Cliffs if chipped joints or a colour-name clash would wreck the job, even though the square metre is the same £29.99. Skip both SPC packs if you need dozens of UK reviews before you cover a flat, and skip Fog Gray in particular while it has no rating of its own. Skip all four if the room is a continually wet floor or a level-access shower. None of these listings prints a use class, and ISO 9001 on Grandismo is not class 33. Laminate is a different core. That fork is on click vinyl vs laminate. Inside this set, the top pick is grey Grandismo on review volume and the stated 0.55 mm spec. The best value is White Cliffs at the same price, underlay extra, damage reports included. The SPC pack is the one with foam and a 27°C line, on three reviews.

Common questions

Which listing is the top pick here?
Grey Grandismo, B07C49TS79. It is £29.99 per square metre, 4 mm, with a 0.55 mm wear layer, and 4.4 from 88 amazon.co.uk reviews. The heating review and the missing underlay are the reasons to walk away. This is the top pick in this set, not a national award.
Which is the best value?
White Cliffs Grandismo, B07CLDQGBV, at the same £29.99 per square metre and the same wear layer, with 4.3 from 79 reviews. You still buy Grandismo LVT underlay. Chipped joints and surface marks are part of that judgement, not a footnote to ignore.
Why not the 5.0 score?
London Fog is 5.0 from three short reviews. Grey Grandismo is 4.4 from 88. A tiny perfect score does not show how the locks or the heating behave over a year. Fog Gray has no star line, so it does not inherit the 5.0.
Are the two Grandismo colours the same board?
They are listed as the same kind of 4 mm vinyl, 0.55 mm wear layer, £29.99 per square metre, with the same underlay line and the same 30-year wear warranty asterisk. The review faults differ. Grey has a heating-bow report and a wrong-colour reorder. White Cliffs has chipped joints, stains and a colour name that did not match the pack.
Does best value include underlay?
No. Both Grandismo packs exclude it, and the warranty line asks for Grandismo LVT underlay. The FLOORNATION packs include 1.5 mm IXPE and cost about £31.87 per square metre if you divide £55.99 by 1.7568 m². That is a different buy, not a hidden discount on White Cliffs.
