Leaf blower comparison 2026

The best leaf blowers, compared.

Top pick: PULITUO 20 V cordless leaf blower Best value: Ark Mat Lazy-Leaf blower vac – 4.4 from 790 reviews at about £39.95, the lowest price among listings with 500 or more reviews that are not a bare body. The specification block still says battery on a corded blower-vac. Updated 23.10.2026.

Peter F.
Peter F.Editor

A leaf blower is a powered machine that moves leaves and light debris with a jet of air. In the United Kingdom you buy one for a patio, a path, a driveway or the edge of a lawn. A blower-vac also sucks dry leaves into a bag. A blower pushes them into a pile. You tell a suitable leaf blower apart from the carton and the figures on the listing. A kit includes a charger and at least one battery. A bare body pays off when that battery family is already in the shed. A mains machine needs a socket that covers the area, a UK three-pin plug, an RCD and an outdoor lead. Air speed and air volume are different figures. If the title, the bullets and the specification block disagree, read all three. Wet, matted leaves are a poor vacuum job. The jet throws grit, so use eye and hearing protection. In England, garden noise can be a statutory nuisance. How a lead and a pack compare is covered in the [corded or cordless leaf blower](/hub/lawn-and-garden-equipment/leaf-blower/sub/leaf-blower-corded-or-cordless) guide.

The best leaf blowers in detail

PULITUO 20 V cordless leaf blower

Rank 1

PULITUO 20 V cordless leaf blower

∼£36

Our view

This PULITUO 20 V blower is a kit at about £35.99, with a battery, charger and concentrator nozzle in the included-components row, and an item weight of 1.81 kg. The title prints 200 km/h and 680 m³/h, and the listing adds 22,500 rpm. Those air figures are claims, and a speed is not the same as a volume. The title states 4,000 mAh while a bullet writes 4,000 Ah, so do not treat the pack as 4,000 amp-hours. One UK review describes two speeds, fast and very fast. The average is 5.0 from five listing reviews, with three UK texts, and that average can move. Those three texts call it light and surprisingly strong, with no repeated complaint. It is blow-only, on PULITUO’s own platform, and the title names a single battery rather than a spare.

Pros

  • Battery and charger are in the included-components row
  • Low kit price at about £35.99
  • 1.81 kg in the item weight
  • The three UK texts call the jet strong for the size

Cons

  • Only five reviews, so 5.0 is not settled evidence
  • A bullet writes 4,000 Ah against 4,000 mAh in the title
  • 200 km/h and 680 m³/h are unverified claims
  • No second pack in the title

Best for: A small hard area if a single-pack kit and five reviews are enough for you.

Less suitable: A large review file, a vacuum, or a shared Ryobi or DeWalt battery.

KUZUPRO 21 V cordless leaf blower kit

Rank 2

KUZUPRO 21 V cordless leaf blower kit

∼£69

Our view

The KUZUPRO kit is about £68.99 with two 4.0 Ah batteries, a charger, a long tube, a flat nozzle and a shoulder strap, and three speeds in the highlight. The title claims 240 km/h and a highlight claims 3.6 m³/min, both listing figures rather than a test. Item weight is 4.74 kg, which is heavy for a handheld kit and may include the carton, so do not quote it as the weight in your hand. The average is 4.7 from 34 reviews, with only 10 UK texts in the file, and much of the wider review text is not English. One UK review calls the three settings enough for the price and the battery life quite good. Another could not complete warranty registration with the seller. It does not vacuum, the packs are KUZUPRO’s own 21 V, and no noise figure is printed.

Pros

  • Two 4.0 Ah packs, a charger and a shoulder strap are listed
  • Three speeds, a long tube and a flat nozzle
  • One UK review calls the power enough for the price
  • Both a speed and a volume claim are printed, as separate figures

Cons

  • 4.74 kg item weight may be the carton
  • Only 10 UK review texts against a count of 34
  • Warranty registration failed for one reviewer
  • Air figures are claims, and there is no noise cell

Best for: A strap kit with two larger packs, if you judge it on the English UK texts only.

Less suitable: A light one-handed tool, a vacuum, or a shared Ryobi or DeWalt shelf.

Bullets: blower, two batteries, charger, long tube, flat nozzle, shoulder strap

Does this listing blow only, or does it also vacuum?

The listing is blow-only. It does not include a collection bag.

Item weight 4.74 kg is heavy beside a handheld kit and may include the carton. Only 10 UK review texts in the file against a listing count of 34. Air figures are claims.

Kaelo cordless leaf blower kit

Rank 3

Kaelo cordless leaf blower kit

∼£38

Our view

The Kaelo listing is a about £37.99 kit in the title, with two 2.0 Ah batteries, a rapid charger, a user guide and a hard case, and a body weight of 750 g. UK reviews describe a cordless blower that is strong for its size on concrete, dust and car cleaning, and light enough for one hand. Some of those texts say it moved damp leaves, while one review found it fine on concrete and weak on grass. The power-source field says corded electric, which fights the title and those reviews. Bullets claim 34 m/s and 450 CFM, which are not a test. A highlight says 21 V while a bullet names 22.2 Wh beside the two-pack title. The average is 4.7 from 26 reviews, under the 30-review line the listing formula treats as thin. It does not vacuum.

Pros

  • 750 g body that reviews call one-handed
  • Title includes two batteries, a rapid charger and a hard case
  • Low kit price at about £37.99
  • UK reviews describe it as cordless and useful on hard surfaces

Cons

  • Spec field says corded electric
  • Only 26 reviews
  • 34 m/s and 450 CFM are bullets, not a test
  • One review found it weak once the leaves were on grass

Best for: A very light blow-only kit for a patio or a car, if you ignore the corded spec cell.

Less suitable: A mains job, a lawn of wet leaves, or a purchase that needs the spec block to be right.

MTKOALA 20 V cordless leaf blower kit

Rank 4

MTKOALA 20 V cordless leaf blower kit

∼£120

Our view

The MTKOALA kit is the dearest listing in this set at about £119.99, and the 4.7 average rests on 11 reviews, with 10 UK texts in the file. Those short reviews describe two batteries, a charger and a strong blow for paths and grass cuttings, and more than one calls it light enough for one hand. The title prints 1,200 W, 200 mph and 700 CFM, which are claims, not a measurement, and a speed is not a volume. A bullet says up to 160 minutes on low; that is a listing line, not a timed test. The included-components row omits the batteries the bullets describe, and a 10 x 10 x 10 cm dimension cell is not a credible size. Item weight is 3.7 kg. A strap appears in one UK review. It only blows, and one reviewer remembered paying about £150, above this shelf price.

Pros

  • UK reviews describe two packs and a charger
  • Three speeds are listed
  • Short UK sample praises airflow on paths and cuttings
  • A strap is mentioned in one UK review

Cons

  • Only 11 reviews, so the 4.7 can move
  • Highest price here at about £119.99
  • Components row omits the batteries the bullets describe
  • 10 cm cube dimension is not usable, and 160 minutes on low is an untested bullet

Best for: A two-pack blow-only kit if you accept a thin review file and a high shelf price.

Less suitable: Anyone comparing on review count, or a job that needs a collection bag.

The listing is blow-only. It does not include a collection bag.

Is there a conflict in the listing details?

Dimensions 10 x 10 x 10 cm are not a credible size for this blower. Included-components row omits batteries; bullets and UK reviews describe two packs and a charger. 700 CFM and 200 mph are title claims, not a measurement.

Glowica cordless leaf blower kit

Rank 5

Glowica cordless leaf blower kit

∼£90

Our view

Across 170 amazon.co.uk reviews, this Glowica kit averages 4.6 and is sold as a blow-only cordless set at about £89.99. UK reviewers praise the two batteries, the fast charger and a jet they use on patios, and several say it is light enough for one hand. The bullets list two 4.0 Ah packs, three speeds, a strap and a 257 km/h air-speed line, which is a speed claim rather than a CFM volume. The title instead says 8000 mAh, and the item weight of 3.88 kg disagrees with a bullet that says 2.4 kg with battery and tube. One review puts the highest setting at about 20 minutes, with the second pack as the spare, and another could not find a spare pack on Amazon. High speed is noisy, and one review mentions ear plugs as supplied. A stiff battery latch needed lubrication in one report. It does not collect leaves.

Pros

  • Two packs and a fast charger are described in UK reviews and in the bullets
  • Three speeds and a shoulder strap are listed
  • 4.6 from 170 reviews is a larger file than the five-review kits
  • Several reviewers use it one-handed on a patio

Cons

  • Title says 8000 mAh while the bullets say two 4.0 Ah packs
  • Item weight 3.88 kg disagrees with the 2.4 kg bullet
  • A reviewer could not find a spare Glowica pack
  • Highest setting about 20 minutes in one review, and noisy enough that ear plugs were mentioned

Best for: A patio tidy when you want two packs in the box and can live with a Glowica-only battery.

Less suitable: A collection bag, a Ryobi or DeWalt shelf, or anyone who needs one agreed weight and capacity.

Ryobi OBL1820S 18 V ONE+ blower

Rank 6

Ryobi OBL1820S 18 V ONE+ blower

∼£58

Our view

The Ryobi OBL1820S is an 18 V ONE+ bare blower at about £57.67, listed at 1.6 kg with a 245 km/h nozzle line, and the box is the tool only. Across 4,179 reviews the average is 4.5, the largest file here, which is why the listing-formula score is the highest in this comparison. UK reviewers who already own ONE+ packs use it on driveways, clippings and twigs, and they like that it splits for storage and feels light beside a petrol or corded vac. The same reviews describe little speed control, so leaves scatter, and a 4 Ah pack, which is not included, runs down quickly on a larger garden. One reviewer found it poor on wet material, and it does not collect leaves. The 278 cm³/min cell is not a usable air volume beside 245 km/h, and 78 dB is the Amazon cell, not a sound-power mark we checked. A three-year warranty is printed on the listing only.

Pros

  • 4.5 from 4,179 reviews, the largest file in this set
  • 1.6 kg body that splits for storage
  • Uses a Ryobi 18 V ONE+ pack you already own
  • UK reviews find the jet enough for driveways, clippings and twigs

Cons

  • Battery and charger are not in the box
  • Little speed control, so leaves scatter
  • A 4 Ah pack runs down quickly on a larger garden in UK reviews
  • 278 cm³/min is not a credible airflow figure

Best for: Dry leaves and clippings when you already own Ryobi 18 V ONE+ batteries.

Less suitable: A first kit with nothing on the shelf, wet material, or a job that needs a bag.

Bosch UniversalGardenTidy 3000

Rank 7

Bosch UniversalGardenTidy 3000

∼£65

Our view

The Bosch UniversalGardenTidy 3000 is a corded 3,000 W blower, vacuum and shredder at about £64.99, weighing 4.7 kg, with a support strap and a 50 L bag named in the model line. It averages 4.4 from 1,884 reviews and sits at rank 1 in Garden Vacuums in this comparison. UK reviews often call the blow and suction stronger than cheaper vacs, and variable speed helps some of them avoid sucking soil. The voltage field says 18 V, which does not belong on this mains machine, and the plug type is not stated. The same reviews call it heavy, noisy and short of cable, and vacuum is weaker once leaves are damp, even though some reviewers still pick up damp leaves. A strap clip broke for one reviewer, one unit stopped after two uses, and acorns were a poor match in another. The 99 dB cell is the Amazon figure, and Gardeners’ World’s about £108.99 RRP is not this shelf price.

Pros

  • Corded blower-vac with 4.4 from 1,884 reviews
  • Variable speed and a support strap are listed
  • 50 L bag is named in the model line
  • UK reviews often rate the suction above cheaper vacs on drier debris

Cons

  • 4.7 kg, and bulkier than a blow-only tool
  • Cable too short for some gardens, and the length is not a clean spec
  • 18 V cell conflicts with the corded 3,000 W listing
  • Blocks on damp leaves, and a strap clip broke in one review

Best for: Dry leaves within reach of a socket, if you can carry 4.7 kg and want them in a bag.

Less suitable: A cordless search, a long garden the lead will not cover, or soaked mats.

Common questions

What is in the box on this amazon.co.uk listing?

UniversalGardenTidy 3000, support strap, carton. Model name also says a 50 L collection bag.

Does this listing blow only, or does it also vacuum?

The title and UK reviews describe a blower-vac.

Is there a conflict in the listing details?

Voltage field says 18 V on a corded 3000 W machine. Do not describe it as a Bosch 18 V battery tool. Noise 99 dB is the Amazon cell. One UK review bought it while searching for cordless and found a cable. Cable length is not a clean spec; reviews say it is short.

SEYVUM 20 V cordless leaf blower kit

Rank 8

SEYVUM 20 V cordless leaf blower kit

∼£70

Our view

The SEYVUM kit is about £69.99 with two 20 V 2.0 Ah packs, a charger and an extension nozzle, listed at 2.47 kg. Bullets give three volume steps, 140, 185 and 220 CFM, so the headline is airflow rather than a km/h jet. Across 814 reviews the average is 4.4. Reviewers often swapped a heavy corded vac for it and use it on patios, steps and small or medium gardens, with the second pack as the spare. Runtime on the fast blow is often described as short, including about 9 to 20 minutes before the swap, and that spread is comments, not one test. Reviews also disagree on how the speed control works, against a three-speed bullet. One spare pack would only charge to 50 percent, and one charger failed after months before the seller replaced it. The 80 dB cell is unmeasured by us; it does not vacuum, and a Ryobi or DeWalt pack will not run it.

Pros

  • Two 2.0 Ah packs and a charger in the box
  • 4.4 from 814 reviews
  • Air claim is printed in CFM, so you can read it as volume
  • Reviewers use the second pack as a swap on patios and small gardens

Cons

  • Fast-blow comments often cite about 9–20 minutes before a swap
  • Reviews disagree with the three-speed bullet
  • Closed 20 V platform
  • One charger failed after months, and one pack would only reach 50 percent

Best for: A patio or small garden when you own no battery platform and want the charger included.

Less suitable: Existing Ryobi or DeWalt owners, or anyone who needs a bag.

Ark Mat Lazy-Leaf blower vac

Rank 9

Ark Mat Lazy-Leaf blower vac

∼£40

Our view

At about £39.95 the Ark Mat Lazy-Leaf is the cheapest mains blower-vac in this set, with 4.4 from 790 reviews. Title, bullets and UK reviews describe a corded blow, vacuum and shred with a cable, a bag and a strap, and many reviews call the blow and suction strong for the money. The power-source field says battery and the components row says Battery, which contradicts that corded description. The title says a 12 m cable and a 45 L bag; a bullet says 10 m and 35 L. Item weight is 1.6 kg while the title also says 3 kg. The title claims 3,000 W and a 216 km/h maximum speed. Reviews say suction is weaker on wet leaves, the blow is fierce enough to lift gravel, and one reviewer says vacuum speed is not variable. Wheels helped one owner; another was disappointed by the bag on grass clippings.

Pros

  • about £39.95 with 4.4 from 790 reviews
  • Title and UK reviews describe blow, vacuum and a strap
  • Many reviews call the suction strong for the price on dry debris
  • Some owners find it lighter than an older vac

Cons

  • Spec block says battery on a listing reviews treat as corded
  • Cable and bag sizes disagree between the title and a bullet
  • Suction is weaker on wet leaves, and the blow can lift gravel
  • Two weights, and one review disputes the variable-speed claim

Best for: Dry leaves near a socket, if you read the cable and bag conflicts before you buy.

Less suitable: Wet mats, a garden the lead will not reach, or a purchase that depends on the spec block matching the title.

JYGMPRO 21 V cordless leaf blower kit

Rank 10

JYGMPRO 21 V cordless leaf blower kit

∼£60

Our view

The JYGMPRO kit is about £59.99 with two 4.0 Ah batteries, a charger, a shoulder strap and two extension nozzles, listed at 2.5 kg. The highlight claims up to 240 km/h and three speeds. The listing average is 4.4 from 218 reviews, but many of the first texts in the review file are about a JYGMPRO chainsaw, so that count is not pure blower evidence. Blower-specific reviews mention dry autumn leaves and beechnuts, three settings, and one charge of about five hours. One of those reviews said full-power runtime was about three minutes, and another reported a pack dead on arrival with no replacement. The 95 dB cell is the Amazon figure. It is blow-only on a closed 21 V platform. Do not read a chainsaw battery comment as this blower’s runtime.

Pros

  • Two 4.0 Ah packs, a charger and a strap are listed
  • Two extension nozzles in the box
  • Blower-specific reviews mention dry leaves and three settings
  • Mid-set price at about £59.99

Cons

  • The 218-review file mixes chainsaw comments
  • One blower review put full power at about three minutes
  • One pack arrived dead, with no replacement in that review
  • 240 km/h is a highlight claim, and 95 dB is only the listing cell

Best for: A two-pack blow-only kit if you ignore reviews that are clearly about a chainsaw.

Less suitable: Anyone treating the star count as blower-only evidence, or a job that needs a vacuum.

Many of the first reviews in the review file are about a JYGMPRO chainsaw, not this blower. Blower signals below use only texts that mention leaves, batteries on this blower, or autumn clearing. 95 dB is the Amazon cell. 240 km/h is a highlight claim.

GrowVid cordless leaf blower kit

Rank 11

GrowVid cordless leaf blower kit

∼£60

Our view

The GrowVid kit is about £59.99 with a variable trigger, two nozzles, a charger and a manual, and the title says two 4 Ah batteries while the components row says Battery. Only two listing reviews support the 4.4 average. One calls it fine for the job aside from the battery, and says power falls as the pack drops, with no clear indicator. The second UK text reads like a grip slogan, not a use report. The air cells cannot all be the same jet: 110 mph, 40 m/s and 50 m/s are printed together, and a 950,000 rpm claim is not a plausible blower-fan speed. Item weight is 581 g, with 400 W on the spec row. It is blow-only, and two reviews are not enough to judge a wet UK lawn.

Pros

  • Title includes two 4 Ah packs and the components row includes a charger
  • Printed weight is 581 g
  • Variable trigger and two nozzles are listed
  • One of the two reviews says it was fine aside from the battery

Cons

  • Only two reviews, and one of them is not a use report
  • 110 mph, 40 m/s and 50 m/s cannot all be the same jet
  • 950,000 rpm is not a plausible fan speed
  • Power falls as the pack drops, with no clear indicator, in the one use review

Best for: Only a buyer who is comfortable judging a kit from the title and two reviews.

Less suitable: Anyone who wants a checked air figure or a review file you can actually read.

Common questions

What is in the box on this amazon.co.uk listing?

Main unit, two nozzles, battery, charger, user manual. Title says two 4 Ah batteries; components row says Battery.

Does this listing blow only, or does it also vacuum?

The listing is blow-only. It does not include a collection bag.

Is there a conflict in the listing details?

950,000 rpm is not a plausible blower-fan speed. 50 m/s, 40 m/s, and 110 mph cannot all be the same jet. 1.28 lb is about 0.58 kg, close to the 581 g item weight, but the bullet presents it as unusually light. Two listing reviews only.

QUPERR blower for DeWalt 18 V

Rank 12

QUPERR blower for DeWalt 18 V

∼£30

Our view

The QUPERR body is about £29.99, sold for listed DeWalt 18 V packs such as DCB184, and it is not made by DeWalt. The manufacturer line names Shenzhen City Waitley Power Co., Ltd, and the box is an extension nozzle only, at an item weight of 1.4 kg. UK reviewers who already own those packs call it cheap and light for dry leaves, hedge clippings, sawdust and drying a car, across 4.1 from 826 reviews. The bullets exclude PowerStack packs and adapters, while one UK review says a PowerStack pack worked, and another says the product changed so older reviews may be a different blower. Reviews mention a long press to start, a loud note, a fast drain, and an intake that sits against a right-handed user’s leg. Buyers who missed “no battery” then spent about £50 to about £60 on a pack and charger. One new unit was reported with a burning smell, and wet leaves on a lawn were hard in one review.

Pros

  • Lowest shelf price in the set at about £29.99
  • 826 reviews, so the file is large
  • Light body for dry leaves if you already own a listed DeWalt 18 V pack
  • Clicks together in three parts, in UK reviews

Cons

  • No pack or charger, and a missed “tool only” line cost some buyers about £50–about £60
  • Not a DeWalt product
  • PowerStack fit is contradicted between the bullets and one review
  • Very loud, drains a pack quickly, and one new unit had a burning smell

Best for: Dry leaves when you already own a listed DeWalt 18 V pack that is not a PowerStack.

Less suitable: A first-time buyer with no pack, wet lawn leaves, or anyone who needs the PowerStack question settled.

Common questions

What is in the box on this amazon.co.uk listing?

Extension nozzle. Bullets: tool only, no battery or charger.

Does this listing blow only, or does it also vacuum?

The listing is blow-only. It does not include a collection bag.

Is there a conflict in the listing details?

Bullets say Power Stack batteries do not fit. One UK review says a Power Stack pack worked. Another review says the product changed and older reviews may be for a different blower. Weight 1.4 kg versus about 3.4 lb in a bullet (3.4 lb is about 1.5 kg, close). Not made by DeWalt.

How we compared

Scores run from 0 to 100. Each listing score is the amazon.co.uk star rating, rounded after multiplying by 16, then one review-count tier: plus 6 if the count is at least 1,000, plus 4 if at least 500, plus 2 if at least 100, or minus 8 if under 30, capped at 92. Those steps are not stacked. A bare-tool price is not treated as a kit price, and listing conflicts stay in the written assessment rather than as a second penalty. This is the 22 October 2026 amazon.co.uk snapshot. It is not a lab test.

1

Amazon.co.uk listing score

100%

The stored score is round(stars × 16), then a single review-count tier, capped at 92. A listing with 1,000 or more reviews receives plus 6, not a stack of the lower tiers. Fewer than 30 reviews takes minus 8, which is why a high star line on a thin file can sit below a deeper sample. Kit contents, specification conflicts and review wording are written beside the score. They are not a second set of weights.

Leaf blower buying guide

Judge a leaf blower by the job, then by whether a socket or a battery pack will reach it, then by the air figure’s unit. A bare body is a different purchase from a kit, and a blower-vac is a different purchase from a blow-only tool. A printed decibel line is not a legal noise mark unless the listing says so. Prices below are the 22 October 2026 amazon.co.uk snapshot.

What to check on a leaf blower

A leaf blower moves leaves and light debris with a jet of air. A leaf vacuum, or a blower-vac, sucks that debris into a bag. On a UK patio or path, a loose pile is a blowing job. A sack of dry leaves is a vacuum job. Wet, matted leaves are a poor match for suction. A rule of thumb, not a test of these listings, is to wait until the leaves are dry. Full speed on gravel lifts stones into the jet, so start on a lower setting and keep the nozzle close to the surface you mean to clear.

Best for

  • A patio, path or driveway where you want leaves moved into a pile
  • Dry-leaf collection within reach of a socket, if you can carry the vac

Not ideal for

  • Soaked, matted leaves you have not tried with a handheld
  • A buyer who needs one agreed figure from a conflicting listing

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

Treating a speed figure as a volume

Kilometres per hour, miles per hour and metres per second are speeds. CFM and cubic metres are volumes. Keep a speed and a volume as separate figures, and do not treat a cubic-centimetre-per-minute cell as airflow you can compare.

  2. 2

    Comparing a bare-tool price with a kit

A bare body leaves the battery and the charger out of the box. A kit includes them. Those shelf prices are not the same kind of purchase, even when the bare tool looks cheaper.

  3. 3

Trusting one cell when the title disagrees

Cable length, bag size, voltage and power source sometimes fight between the title, a bullet and the specification block. Read all three. Vacuuming soaked leaves, and full speed on gravel, are the other two mistakes that show up in the reviews.

What to weigh up

Job, reach and what the price includes

High

A pile on a patio needs a blower. A sack of dry leaves needs a vacuum, and only a blower-vac does that job. Wet mats are a poor vacuum job. A socket that covers the whole area suits a mains machine, with a UK three-pin plug, an RCD and an outdoor lead. Everywhere else you are on a battery. A kit price includes the charger and at least one pack. A bare price does not. Match the body to a battery family you already own, and do not expect a closed kit to run a different brand’s packs.

Air figures and listing conflicts

High

Name the air figure before you compare it. The Ryobi listing prints 245 km/h. Glowica prints 257 km/h. Ark Mat prints a 216 km/h maximum. KUZUPRO prints 240 km/h and 3.6 cubic metres per minute. PULITUO prints 200 km/h and 680 cubic metres per hour. SEYVUM prints 140 to 220 CFM and no air speed. MTKOALA prints 200 mph and 700 CFM. Those pairs are not one number. The Ryobi cubic-centimetre-per-minute cell is not a usable volume, and a 950,000 rpm line is not a test method.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

Patio and small hard areas

You want a charger in the box for a patio, path or steps, and you do not already own an 18 V platform. The SEYVUM kit is a closed 20 V set at about £69.99, with two 2.0 Ah packs and 4.4 from 814 reviews. Those packs will not run a Ryobi or DeWalt tool.

You already own Ryobi ONE+ packs

A bare body only pays off when that battery family is already in the shed. The Ryobi OBL1820S uses 18 V ONE+ packs and has the deepest review file here, 4.5 from 4,179 reviews, at about £57.67 with the battery and charger excluded. UK reviews put a 4 Ah pack at about 15 to 20 minutes.

Dry leaves near a socket

You want dry leaves in a bag, and a socket covers the area. The Bosch UniversalGardenTidy 3000 is a corded blower-vac at about £64.99, with 4.4 from 1,884 reviews. The costs are the 4.7 kg weight and the cable. Soaked mats are a poor match for the suction.

Common questions about leaf blowers

Which leaf blower is the top pick on this page?
The top pick is the Ryobi OBL1820S, at 4.5 from 4,179 amazon.co.uk reviews. That is the largest file here, and the listing-formula score is 78, the highest in the set. The shelf price is about £57.67 for a bare 18 V ONE+ body, with no pack or charger. The best value is the Ark Mat Lazy-Leaf: 4.4 from 790 reviews at about £39.95, the lowest price among listings with 500 or more reviews that are not a bare body. Its specification block still says battery on a corded blower-vac.
What should you check before you buy a leaf blower?
Decide whether you need a pile moved or dry leaves in a bag. Then check whether a socket covers the area, or whether a pack and charger are already in the box. Read air speed and air volume as different figures, and do not rank one against the other. If the title, the bullets and the specification block disagree, do not trust a single cell. A bare-tool price is not a working price until you own that battery family. Wet, matted leaves are a poor vacuum job.
What is the difference between a leaf blower and a leaf vacuum?
A leaf blower pushes debris into a pile. A leaf vacuum, or a blower-vac, sucks it into a bag. Only two of the twelve listings here are sold as blower-vacs, and both are mains machines. The other ten blow only. If collection is the job, rather than a jet, start with the leaf vacuum comparison. Dry leaves near a socket are the collection case on this page. Soaked leaves are not.
Does a mains leaf blower need a UK plug?
A corded blower or blower-vac runs from the mains while you use it. UK mains are 230 V, and the domestic plug is BS 1363, the three-pin pattern. Use an RCD and an outdoor lead, and do not take the tool onto a roof or a ladder. On the two mains listings here the plug type is not stated in the specification block, so check the pins before you rely on the tool. A battery blower has no mains lead in use. Its charger still needs a UK plug.
How loud is a leaf blower, and can a neighbour complain?
Leaf blowers are noise-marking only under the 2001 outdoor-equipment regulations. A decibel figure in an amazon.co.uk cell is not that guaranteed sound-power mark. Councils in England must consider statutory nuisance under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Southampton City Council says it does not investigate ordinary daytime garden equipment, including leaf blowers. That is local policy. There is no single national time slot. Wear hearing protection when the jet is loud, and eye protection because the air throws grit.
Will a leaf blower clear wet leaves?
Do not assume it will. A rule of thumb, not a test of these listings, is to wait until the leaves are dry. UK reviews on the mains blower-vacs say suction is weaker once leaves are damp, and a blow can lift gravel. Some buyers still pick up damp debris. That is comment, not a trial of soaked mats. Full speed on gravel is a common mistake. A heavy, wet fall across a large lawn may need a different tool from the handhelds compared here.
How much does a leaf blower cost?
These figures are the amazon.co.uk shelf snapshot from 22 October 2026, not a live re-check. Entry listings here sit under about £40, including a bare body and a mains blower-vac. Mid listings sit about £58 to £70. The two dearest kits are about £89.99 and about £119.99. A bare price is not a working price until you own the pack and the charger. Do not compare that shelf price with a two-battery kit as if the cartons were the same purchase.
When should you stop and get help with a leaf blower?
Stop and use the retailer or a competent person if the charger plug is hot or misshapen, if you smell burning, or if the mains lead is cut. Do not clear a blockage while the tool is plugged in or the battery pack is fitted. A stiff latch or a short runtime is a buying note from reviews. A hot plug, a burning smell or a cut lead is not something to improvise. This page is not a repair guide.

Our verdict

The top pick is the Ryobi OBL1820S. It scores 78, the highest figure in this set, from 4.5 and 4,179 amazon.co.uk reviews, at about £57.67. It is a bare 18 V ONE+ body, so the pack and charger are not in the box. The best value is the Ark Mat Lazy-Leaf, at about £39.95 with 4.4 from 790 reviews, the lowest price among listings with 500 or more reviews that are not a bare body. The specification block still says battery on a title that describes a corded blower-vac. Neither result is a claim to be the best leaf blower in the UK.
