A socket cube plugs into one UK 13 A wall socket and gives you two, three or four Type G outlets, sometimes with USB on the spare faces. People buy one when a double socket has run out of holes and they do not want a trailing lead. Every face shares one 13 A path, about 3,000 W at 230 V, so a kettle and a toaster together are already too much. How you [stay under that shared 13 A limit](/hub/sockets-and-extension-leads/socket-cube/sub/socket-cube-how-to-use) comes before a switch or a USB port. Tell a sound cube from a poor one by a 13 A fuse, sleeved rectangular pins, shutters and faces your real plugs fit. The outlet count on the object has to match the title. A Type B line, or a cell that says no plug, beside a UK cube is a broken table. An unfused cube is the one to leave on the shelf. Cheap bodies refuse bulky plugs, and a larger body can cover the other half of a double socket.

The best socket cubes in detail

Masterplug MSWRG3-MP

Rank 1

Masterplug MSWRG3-MP

Our view

The Masterplug MSWRG3-MP puts three switched sockets on one wall plug, listed at about £8.25 with 4.6 from 5,929 amazon.co.uk reviews. In the first 50 UK reviews, people use a switch on each socket and like the side faces sitting the right way up for a night-light style plug. The bullets claim a surge indicator and a thermal cut-out, with no joule figure, and they say not to use the adaptor if the indicator is not lit. Several of those reviews say the switches get hot, including with a phone charger, and one buyer says all three of their units get really hot whatever is plugged in. The switch LEDs are called very bright, including a green light that stays on and lights a dark room. On a twin socket the body covers the other outlet or one of its own faces. The table also prints Type B beside Type G, and two USB ports the bullets never describe, so those cells do not make this a USB cube or a settled pin type.

Pros

  • A switch on each of the three sockets
  • Surge indicator claimed, and the bullets say to stop if it is not lit
  • Side sockets praised for a night-light style plug
  • 4.6 from 5,929 reviews, the largest sample in this set
  • about £8.25 and 158 g, and it plugs straight into the wall

Cons

  • Reviews say the switches get hot, including with a phone charger
  • Switch LEDs are very bright and can light a dark room
  • On a twin socket it covers the other outlet or one of its own faces
  • The plug field says Type B beside Type G, and the USB count is not in the bullets

Best for: You want switched mains sockets on a single wall outlet and you can live with bright switch lights.

Less suitable: A double socket where you still need both halves, a dark bedroom, or a listing you opened because you wanted USB.

Common questions

Does each socket have its own switch?

Yes. The title and the bullets say individual switches, and reviews talk about a light on each switch.

What surge figure is printed?

None. The bullets describe a thermal cut-out indicator and a connected-equipment limit of up to £1,000 for three years.

Will it block a double socket?

Reviews say that on a twin socket you lose either the spare wall socket or one face of the adaptor.

NAEEM SONS cube

Rank 2

NAEEM SONS cube

Our view

The NAEEM SONS cube is the cheapest single unit here at about £4.30, listed at 4.6 from 947 reviews, at 60 g, with Type G and 230 V AC printed. The title says a 2-way 13 A adaptor, one bullet says two devices, another bullet says a 3-way plug, and the outlet field says 3, so the page does not give you one outlet count. In the first 50 UK reviews, people use it for a small plug such as an electric toothbrush charger on a kitchen socket. Large moulded plugs would not go in, and one buyer still called the body a bit bulky. Pins on one of two units felt slightly wobbly and still worked that week. A bullet claims protection from surges and lightning, with no joule figure and no indicator. There is no fuse name, no colour, and no body size in the table. It is the best value in this set when your plugs are small and you count the faces on the object before you rely on the title.

Pros

  • about £4.30, the lowest single-unit price in the set, with 4.6 from 947 reviews
  • Type G and 230 V AC are printed
  • Reviews say it suits a small standard plug, such as a toothbrush charger
  • Described as compact enough for a kitchen socket
  • 60 g, and it plugs straight into the wall

Cons

  • The title says 2-way and the outlet field says 3
  • Large moulded plugs would not fit the faces
  • One review describes wobbly pins on one of two units
  • Surge-and-lightning wording with no joules and no indicator, and no fuse is named

Best for: You want one cheap extra hole for a small square plug, and you will count the faces on the object.

Less suitable: Bulky plugs, a computer you wanted surge-rated in joules, or a purchase that needs the listing to settle on two outlets or three.

Common questions

Does this NAEEM cube have surge protection?

A bullet says it keeps devices safe from surges, spikes and lightning. The table gives no joule rating and no indicator.

How many sockets does the listing claim?

The title says a 2-way adaptor and one bullet says two devices. Another bullet says a 3-way plug, and the outlet field says 3.

Will large plugs fit?

UK reviews say it suits a small standard plug, such as a toothbrush charger, and that bulky plugs would not go in.

FAMHOME 2-way block

Rank 3

FAMHOME 2-way block

Our view

The FAMHOME listing is a white two-outlet block, 46 x 46 x 114 mm and 120 g, sold as a pack of two at about £6.99. The star line is 4.6 from 837 reviews. In the first 50 UK texts, buyers call it solid for the price and useful where a long lead is unnecessary, and they note that two units arrive. There is no fuse name and no amperage line. The table prints 240 V in and 250 V out. After a couple of months, plugs in the adaptor became hot for some reviewers. One pin became hot enough that the connection dropped in and out, and one buyer said a prong burnt a hand. The warranty line is six months. It is a compact two-way block whose review sample includes that severe heat, which is why the 4.6 does not read as a clean result.

Pros

  • A pack of two at about £6.99
  • A compact 46 x 46 x 114 mm block
  • Type G is printed
  • Reviews call the feel solid for the price
  • Useful where a long lead is unnecessary, in the review notes

Cons

  • Reviews describe hot pins, including a prong that burnt a hand
  • One connection dropped in and out as a pin heated
  • No fuse and no amperage line in the specification
  • Only two outlets, and the warranty is six months

Best for: You want a cheap pair of two-way blocks for light plugs, and you will unplug at the first sign of heat.

Less suitable: A kettle, a heater, or any load you would leave in a block that already has hot-pin reviews.

Does it claim surge protection?

The bullets do not claim surge protection. Heat at the pins is what the critical reviews describe.

Is a 13 A fuse named?

No. Input is printed as 240 V and output as 250 V, with no amperage line.

LENCENT 3-way cube

Rank 4

LENCENT 3-way cube

∼£15

Our view

The LENCENT WW07-G3b-PD is a wall cube of 7.1 x 6.5 x 7.1 cm and 170 g, listed at about £14.99 with three AC outlets and two USB ports at 12 W (5 V / 2.4 A). Across the first 50 UK reviews of a 4.6 from 775 listing, people run three devices from one socket without a lead across the floor, including in a hotel room, and one review says a plastic-pin plug such as a Dyson charger goes in. Charging is called fine for phones in one of those reviews, which matches a 12 W figure rather than a laptop charger. The bullets claim child safety doors and a polycarbonate body rated to 750 °C, while the standards cell only says CE and UL, with no BS number. A bullet lists a bathroom among other rooms, and no IP rating is printed. Reviewers also call it larger than expected, awkward once it sits on an extension lead, and a bit plasticky. Those 50 reviews do not form a heat cluster. The saved reviews record one isolated heat word.

Pros

  • Three AC outlets and two USB ports printed at 12 W
  • Child safety doors claimed
  • Type G is printed, and a review says a plastic-pin Dyson charger fits
  • Body size is printed: 7.1 x 6.5 x 7.1 cm and 170 g
  • A two-year warranty is on the listing

Cons

  • The USB figure is 12 W, and the connector field says USB 3.0 with no separate charge rate
  • A bathroom is named and no IP rating is printed
  • The standards cell says CE and UL, with no BS number
  • Larger than expected, and awkward on an extension lead

Best for: You want three mains faces and about 12 W of USB in a dry room, with shutters claimed on the listing.

Less suitable: A bathroom, a laptop that needs a higher USB wattage, or a cube you plan to stack on an extension lead.

JSVER 4-way cube

Rank 5

JSVER 4-way cube

∼£13

Our view

The JSVER-OT4021 is a black four-face cube, 82 x 57 x 85 mm in the bullet and 170 g, listed at about £12.99 with two USB ports whose total is printed as 5 V / 2.4 A, 12 W, and a 13 A fuse named in the bullets. The listing line is 4.6 from 696 reviews. In the first 50 UK texts, people like four mains faces plus USB in a kitchen gap, the black finish against black appliance plugs, and a blue LED between the USB ports. A plug can cover those USB ports, and the same LED disappears once a cable crosses it. The severe notes are heat: one unit melted two fuses and smelt burnt within about three months with the USB unused, another became extremely hot and was thrown away, and another overheated until the fuse blew. A further review says a unit fell apart in under two years. One arrived with a loose top pin, and others describe the body moving up and down in the wall.

Pros

  • Four mains faces plus two USB ports
  • A 13 A fuse is named in the bullets
  • Type G is printed
  • Black body, with reviews that mention a kitchen gap and black appliance plugs
  • Called smaller than other adaptors on a worktop by some buyers

Cons

  • Reviews describe melting, a burnt smell and blown fuses, including with the USB unused
  • One unit fell apart in under two years
  • A plug can block the USB ports
  • Loose in the wall, and one top pin was loose from arrival

Best for: You are comparing a four-face black cube and you will unplug it if it smells of hot plastic.

Less suitable: Anyone who wants a cube without melt and blown-fuse reports in the sample, or who needs the USB ports clear of a large plug.

Aodeng 3-way adaptor

Rank 6

Aodeng 3-way adaptor

∼£18

Our view

The Aodeng ZYC021 is a white three-way wall adaptor at about £17.99, the dearest row here, with four USB ports: three USB-A at 5 V / 2.4 A and one USB-C at 5 V / 3.0 A, and a combined line of 5 V / 3.4 A. The listing is 4.6 from 432 reviews. In the first 50 UK texts, people like three mains sockets plus USB-A and USB-C where a full extension lead will not fit, and one buyer says the narrow base cleared a switched socket plate. The same reviews say it sticks out more than 3 inches, about 4.5 inches with a plug in, and that one unit was front-heavy and leaned out until it lost contact. The outlet field prints 7, which adds the USB ports to the three mains faces. One plug field says Type G and another says No Plug, and the warranty cell says No. A bullet does claim one switch for both the AC sockets and the USB ports.

Pros

  • Three mains sockets plus four USB ports, with a combined 5 V / 3.4 A line
  • One switch claimed for the AC sockets and the USB ports
  • UKCA and RoHS are claimed in the bullets
  • A review says the narrow base cleared a switched socket plate
  • The blue power light is called faint

Cons

  • One unit leaned out of the socket and lost contact
  • It projects more than 3 inches, and about 4.5 inches with a plug in
  • The outlet field says 7 on a three-way title
  • The plug field says No Plug beside Type G, and the warranty is printed as No

Best for: You want USB-A and USB-C on a three-way body, and the socket can hold a front-heavy adaptor.

Less suitable: A shallow gap behind a television, or a socket where a leaning adaptor has already lost contact.

NAEEM SONS 2-pack

Rank 7

NAEEM SONS 2-pack

Our view

This is the NAEEM SONS pack of two white wall cubes at about £5.49, with 120 g printed for the pair, and the same 2-way title and 3-outlet table as the single at about £4.30. The listing line is 4.5 from 55 reviews, and the file holds only seven UK texts, each a few lines of praise. Those seven say the cubes were still working after a couple of weeks, that they plug in and go, and that they add a couple of extra sockets. No defect is described in those seven reviews. The surge bullet is the same lightning sentence as the single pack, with no joules and no indicator, and no fuse is named. Colour is white on this listing, which the single pack leaves blank. Seven short notes against a count of 55 are a thin sample, so the pack is a spare pair of the same unsettled cube.

Pros

  • Two cubes for about £5.49
  • White and Type G are printed
  • 230 V AC, with 13 A in the title
  • The seven review texts describe plug-and-go use after a couple of weeks
  • The same wall-cube job as the single, sold as a pair

Cons

  • Only seven review texts sit behind a listing count of 55
  • The title says 2-way and the outlet field says 3
  • No fuse is named
  • The surge bullet has no joules and no indicator

Best for: You want two cheap cubes and you accept that the readable reviews are seven short lines of praise.

Less suitable: A bulky plug, a device you wanted a joule rating for, or a decision that needs more than seven review texts.

Status 1.4 m cube

Rank 8

Status 1.4 m cube

∼£14

Our view

The Status S3W1.4M3XUSB1PK6 is the only cube in this set on a lead: 1.4 m, 460 g, three mains sockets and three USB ports, listed at about £13.98. The star line is 4.4 from 791 reviews. In the first 50 UK texts, people want a short cube instead of a long bar for a bedside or desk, and one buyer says the lead reaches a short kettle flex. The bullets do not print USB volts or watts, and the plug field says Type B with no Type G line. Reviews describe a lit on/off switch that the bullets never name. One unit arrived with dead USB ports while the 13 A sockets still worked. Another review says the switch cuts only the mains sockets, the USB stays live, and the USB plugs get quite hot. A background hum and swirl marks on the casing also appear in that sample.

Pros

  • 1.4 m lead, the only cube here that leaves the wall
  • Three mains sockets plus three USB ports
  • Reviews describe a switch that can turn the sockets off
  • Called smaller than a socket tower in the review notes
  • One buyer found the lead long enough for a short kettle flex

Cons

  • USB watts are not printed, and one unit arrived with dead USB ports
  • A review says the switch leaves USB live and the USB plugs get hot
  • The plug field says Type B, with no Type G line
  • A background hum, and a scratched casing out of the box

Best for: You need about 1.4 m of reach to a bedside or a desk, and you will check the plug pattern on the object.

Less suitable: Anyone who needs a stated USB wattage, a Type G line in the table, or USB that the switch actually cuts.

Double Dragon 2-way

Rank 9

Double Dragon 2-way

Our view

The Double Dragon cube is a white two-outlet wall splitter at about £4.93 and 60 g, with a listing line of 4.4 from 126 reviews. The bullets claim safety shutters on both sockets, a fire-retardant polypropylene body to 750 °C, and UKCA, CE, TUV and BS 1363, plus up to 3,120 W. They do not name a fuse. All 28 UK review texts in the file include one that says there is no fuse and no CE mark on the item, and that the surge claim is not credible at this size. Other texts say the terminals do not line up, so plugs are hard to insert, and that the body feels very light, cheap or 3D-printed, with no power isolation. Some buyers are still content with everyday plugs in a tight space. One review tells others to avoid it. Those 28 texts are a slice of the 126 on the listing line, so the stars cover a larger audience than the file lets you read.

Pros

  • Two outlets at about £4.93, with Type G printed
  • Shutters are claimed on both sockets
  • The bullets name BS 1363, UKCA, CE and TUV
  • Called small enough for a tight space in the review notes
  • A 3,120 W ceiling is printed in a bullet

Cons

  • A review says there is no fuse and no CE mark on the item
  • Terminals do not line up, so plugs are hard to insert
  • The body is called very light, cheap, or 3D-printed
  • The surge wording has no joule figure, and one review calls that claim not credible at this size

Best for: You are comparing a cheap two-way cube and you will look for a fuse in the plug before you leave it in the wall.

Less suitable: Anyone who needs a fuse named in the listing, or who has already read the review that says to avoid this one.

Chemilen 3-way cube

Rank 10

Chemilen 3-way cube

∼£14

Our view

The Chemilen cube is a white three-way body at about £13.99 and 250 g, with two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports, a claimed 13 A fuse, child shutters, and one switch with an LED. The bullets say USB-C up to 15.5 W and USB-A up to 12 W, while a review says the four USB ports share about 3.1 A. The listing line is 4.1 from 20 reviews, the lowest stars in this set, and the file holds 16 UK texts. Those texts like three mains sockets plus USB for travel instead of several chargers, and one buyer says they checked the plug measurements and found it fused. The same sample says it sticks a long way out, is too deep for the gap behind a television, and that one buyer could not run an Alexa Dot from a mains face. One review calls the unit intermittent. The outlet field prints 7, which adds the three mains faces and the four USB ports. Twenty reviews is a small sample beside the Masterplug’s 5,929.

Pros

  • Three mains sockets plus two USB-A and two USB-C
  • A 13 A fuse, child shutters and a switch are claimed
  • USB-C is printed up to 15.5 W and USB-A up to 12 W
  • One buyer checked the plug measurements and called it fused
  • Described as useful for travel instead of several chargers

Cons

  • 4.1 from only 20 reviews
  • A reviewer says about 3.1 A is shared across the four USB ports
  • It sticks a long way out and is too deep for the gap behind a television
  • One review calls it intermittent, and one buyer could not run an Alexa Dot from a mains face

Best for: You want USB-C on a three-way cube whose bullets name a 13 A fuse, and you will treat 20 reviews as a short sample.

Less suitable: A tight gap behind a television, or a device that needs more than the shared USB current a reviewer described.

What USB power is printed?

Bullets say USB-C up to 15.5 W and USB-A up to 12 W. A review says the four USB ports share about 3.1 A.

Is there a fuse and a switch?

A bullet says a built-in 13 A fuse, child shutters, and a switch with an LED.

How we compared

Ten amazon.co.uk listings were scored for this page. Each score starts at 70, then adds review evidence, a price band, and job points when the bullets name a switch, a 13 A fuse or shutters. The three weights below sum to 100 and follow those variable blocks. Stars, review counts and prices come from the stored listings. A joule line, a standards cell or a watt bullet is a claim on the page, not a measured load. There was no lab test. Severe heat reports, a review that says there is no fuse, a Type B or no-plug cell, an outlet conflict, an empty surge or bathroom claim, and bright switch LEDs sit outside the 100 as deductions.

Socket cube buying guide

The checks run in this order: the shared 13 A limit, a fuse and Type G pins, whether the plugs fit, then USB watts and heat claims. The table is the ten stored listings. Watt bullets and surge lines stay seller claims. None of these cubes was load-tested for this page.

What is a socket cube?

A socket cube is a plug-in adaptor that uses one UK 13 A wall socket and puts two, three or four Type G outlets on the body. Some add a small 5 V supply on a spare face. People buy one when a double socket has run out of holes and a trailing lead is in the way. It does not add a circuit. None of the ten stored amazon.co.uk listings prints an IP rating, so a bathroom word on the page is not a bathroom fitting. The first check is the shared 13 A limit.

Best for

  • Two or three low-power plugs at one dry-room socket, with the amps added up
  • A phone charger of about 12 W in the same body as the mains faces

Not ideal for

  • A kettle plus a toaster, or any pair of high loads on one 13 A path
  • A bathroom, or a cube whose listing names a bathroom and prints no IP rating

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

Treating 3,250 W as each face

Every outlet shares one 13 A path. Electrical Safety First puts a kettle at up to 13 A and a four-slice toaster near 9 A. A list of compatible devices that names kettles and heaters does not change the sum.

  2. 2

Trusting a surge line or a bathroom word

A surge sentence with no joules and no indicator is not a surge rating. A bathroom bullet with no IP rating is not a bathroom product. None of these listings prints an IP rating.

  3. 3

Leaving a hot cube in the wall

Electrical Safety First says one device per socket and to stop if you smell hot plastic. JSVER reviews describe melting and blown fuses. FAMHOME reviews describe hot pins. Unplug, and do not daisy-chain.

What to weigh up

Shared 13 A, then fuse and pins

High

A socket cube gives you more holes on one wall socket. It does not give you more amps. Read 13 A, or a 3,250 W bullet, as the limit for every face together. Then look for a BS 1362 fuse and sleeved Type G pins in the bullets. JSVER and Chemilen name a 13 A fuse. Masterplug prints 13 A in the current fields and does not name a fuse. FAMHOME prints voltage and no amperage line. Double Dragon claims BS 1363 and shutters, and a UK review says there is no fuse on the item.

Plug fit, USB watts and heat

High

Cheap cubes refuse bulky plugs. NAEEM reviews describe a small plug such as a toothbrush charger, and large moulded plugs that would not go in. A larger body can cover the other half of a double socket. Masterplug reviews say that on a twin socket you lose the spare wall socket or one face of the adaptor. Count the faces. NAEEM’s title and outlet field disagree. Aodeng and Chemilen print 7 because the field adds USB.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

Switched sockets on one wall plug

You want a switch on each mains face and you can live with bright LEDs. The Masterplug MSWRG3-MP is the top pick at about £8.25, with 4.6 from 5,929 reviews. The surge line has an indicator and no joule figure. Reviews say the switches get hot.

One cheap hole for a small plug

You need a low-power plug, such as a toothbrush charger, and you will count the faces on the object. The NAEEM SONS cube is the best value at about £4.30, with 4.6 from 947 reviews. The title says 2-way and the outlet field says 3. Large moulded plugs do not fit.

About 1.4 m to a bedside

The flex is slightly short and a wall cube will not reach. The Status cube is the only row on a lead, 1.4 m at about £13.98, with 4.4 from 791 reviews, three mains sockets and three USB ports. USB watts are not printed, and the plug field says Type B.

Common questions about socket cubes

Which socket cube is the top pick in this comparison?
The top pick is the Masterplug MSWRG3-MP at about £8.25. The amazon.co.uk line in this file is 4.6 from 5,929 reviews, the largest sample here, and the bullets put a switch on each of three sockets. The surge claim is an indicator with no joule figure. Reviews say the switches get hot, including with a phone charger, and that the LEDs are very bright. The table also prints Type B beside Type G, and a USB count the bullets never describe. It is a wall cube, so both halves of a double socket may not stay usable.
What does a socket cube cost on amazon.co.uk?
In the stored listings, single wall cubes run from about £4.30 to about £17.99. The NAEEM SONS single is about £4.30 and the 2-pack is about £5.49. Double Dragon is about £4.93. FAMHOME’s 2-pack is about £6.99. Masterplug is about £8.25. JSVER is about £12.99, Status is about £13.98, Chemilen is about £13.99, LENCENT is about £14.99 and Aodeng is about £17.99. The dearer rows are selling USB or a switch, not a higher mains rating. Confirm the live amazon.co.uk price before you buy.
Can a kettle and a toaster share a socket cube?
No. Every face shares one 13 A path. A bullet that prints 3,250 W is 13 A times 250 V for the whole adaptor, not for each face. Electrical Safety First’s indicative table puts a kettle at up to 13 A, often 2,200 to 3,000 W, and a four-slice toaster near 9 A. Together they are already over one 13 A socket. A compatible-devices list that names kettles and heaters does not raise that ceiling. Unplug if the plastic smells hot.
Will the USB ports on a socket cube charge a laptop?
Not on these listings. USB cubes in the set print about 12 W total, and Chemilen prints USB-C up to 15.5 W and USB-A up to 12 W. Aodeng prints a combined 5 V / 3.4 A across four ports. That is phone charging. A review on the Chemilen listing says the four USB ports share about 3.1 A. Status prints three USB ports and no watt figure. A switch may leave the USB live. The Masterplug table mentions USB that the bullets never describe, so that row is not a USB cube.
Is a socket cube suitable for a bathroom?
No listing here prints an IP rating. A bathroom word in a bullet is not a bathroom product. IET Wiring Matters places a 13 A socket in a bath or shower room only if it is at least 3 m horizontally from zone 1. NICEIC’s householder page uses 2.5 m from the bath or shower edge. New sockets and bathroom work are for a registered electrician under Part P in England and Wales. Stop if you smell hot plastic, and do not daisy-chain.
What does a surge sentence without joules mean?
It is a claim, not a measured surge rating. Masterplug describes a thermal cut-out indicator and says not to use the adaptor if the indicator is not lit. It prints no joule figure. NAEEM, Double Dragon and LENCENT also use surge or protection wording with no joules. One Double Dragon review says that claim is not credible at this size. Do not treat a UKCA cell, a CE cell or a BS number in a bullet as a test repeated for this page.
How do you tell a fused Type G cube from a broken table?
Look for sleeved rectangular pins and a BS 1362 fuse named in the bullets. JSVER and Chemilen name a 13 A fuse. Double Dragon claims BS 1363 and shutters, and a review says there is no fuse and no CE mark on the item. Masterplug and Aodeng print Type G beside Type B or No Plug. Status prints Type B and no Type G line. NAEEM’s title says 2-way while the outlet field says 3. Count the faces on the object, and leave an unfused cube on the shelf.
When is a socket tower or a longer lead the better shape?
A wall cube only adds holes on the socket you already have. A vertical stack for a desk is a different product, covered in the socket tower comparison. A cable of a metre or more across the floor is a lead, not a wall cube. Status is the only row here with a 1.4 m lead, and BS 1363-3 does not treat a plug-and-cable assembly as an adaptor. A new socket, a scorched wall outlet, or any change to the wiring is work for a registered electrician.

Our verdict

The top pick is the Masterplug MSWRG3-MP at about £8.25, with 4.6 from 5,929 reviews, the highest score in this set. It puts a switch on each of three sockets and claims a surge indicator with no joule figure. Reviews say the switches get hot and the LEDs are very bright, and the table prints Type B beside Type G. The best value is the NAEEM SONS cube at about £4.30, with 4.6 from 947 reviews. It is the lowest price among rows that score at least 70, are not the top pick, and have no severe-heat penalty. The title says 2-way and the outlet field says 3, and large plugs do not fit. FAMHOME at about £6.99 and JSVER at about £12.99 are not the value pick after melt, burnt-smell and hot-pin reports.
