Top pick: CE-CC 18 Li-Solo Best value: CE-CC 18 Li-Solo – Cheapest tyre inflator here with more than 1,000 reviews, auto-stop and no tank-field conflict, at about £46.99. Updated 20 October 2026.
An Einhell compressor on amazon.co.uk is not one machine. You might be topping up tyres, blowing a garage clean, or running light air tools. What matters is a real receiver when the tool needs stored air, an honest free-air figure at the pressure you use, and a plug that fits a UK socket. Noise figures are not comparable until you know whether the number is, or an unsourced sound level. The fork between an inflator, a suitcase, a cordless tank and a mains receiver is in the [Einhell compressor buying guide](/hub/compressors/einhell-compressor/sub/einhell-compressor-buying-guide).
An Einhell compressor is a pump that raises air above 0.5 bar. BS EN 1012-1:2010 covers air compressors above that pressure when they are not used in explosive atmospheres. On amazon.co.uk the brand name covers a handheld inflator, a suitcase with no receiver, small cordless tanks, and mains receivers of 24 L and 50 L. Tyres, balls and mattresses suit the 18 and the models.

Across 3,760 amazon.co.uk reviews rated 4.7, the CE-CC 18 Li-Solo tops up car, motorhome, and caravan tyres from an 18 V Power X-Change pack and stops when the set pressure is reached. The listing states 11 bar, about 10 litres a minute, a 60 cm hose, 110 W, and 0.76 kg, at £46.99. Einhell’s UK page splits that output as 12, 10, and 8 litres a minute at 0, 4, and 7 bar. Reviewers like the backlit display and the bar, psi, and kPa toggle, and they still say the gauge can read a bit high or low, so you should check it against a gauge you already trust. It is slower than a workshop compressor, and one reviewer would not use it on tyres bigger than an SUV. The battery and the charger are not in the box.
Pros
Auto-stop at a set pressure up to 11 bar
0.76 kg, with a 60 cm hose and tyre, bike, and ball adapters
4.7 from 3,760 amazon.co.uk reviews at £46.99
Runs on a Power X-Change pack you may already own
Cons
Battery and charger are not included
The gauge is described as a bit inaccurate
Slower than a workshop compressor
No tank, so it cannot store a blast for a nailer
Best for: You already own an 18 V Einhell pack and you want car or bike tyres done at home.
Less suitable: You have no battery, or you need a receiver for air tools.
The PRESSITO 18/25 is the £59.98 sibling of the 18/21, rated 4.7 from 565 amazon.co.uk reviews, with auto-stop at a set pressure up to 11 bar and a low-pressure suction mode for mattresses. The included line lists a 71 cm high-pressure hose, a 1.6 m low-pressure hose, and tyre and ball adapters, and no battery. Reviewers in the English sample use it on car tyres and a large paddling pool. The amazon tank field says 125 L, and one bullet describes a cordless hammer drill. A 2.28 kg handheld pump is neither of those things. Air delivery is not stated as a figure you can use. Treat the star rating as the evidence, and treat the tank line as a scrape error.
Pros
Auto-stop up to 11 bar, plus suction for mattresses
4.7 from 565 amazon.co.uk reviews at £59.98
High- and low-pressure hoses in the included line
2.28 kg to carry if you already own the battery
Cons
Battery and charger are not included
The tank field says 125 L, which this pump does not have
A bullet describes a hammer drill
No usable air-delivery figure on the listing
Best for: Tyres and inflatables on an 18 V pack, once you ignore the 125 L tank line.
Less suitable: You believed the listing had a 125 L receiver, or you need free air at 7 bar printed on the page.
The PRESSITO 18/21 is an 18 V handheld pump with high pressure, low pressure, and suction, at £59.99 and 4.6 from 831 amazon.co.uk reviews, and the battery is not included. Einhell’s UK page states a 0 L tank, 10.5 bar, and 14, 9, and 6 litres a minute at 0, 4, and 7 bar. Reviewers use it on car tyres, kayaks, and inflatables, and several find the gauge accurate enough for tyres. One gauge stopped after about 14 months and then read only bar. The amazon raw also contains a chainsaw bullet and a 2 L tank field, and those lines contradict the model page. It is bulkier than a glovebox inflator, and the controls confuse some buyers.
Pros
Auto shut-off, with high pressure, low pressure, and suction
Einhell states 6 L/min at 7 bar and a 0 L tank
4.6 from 831 amazon.co.uk reviews at £59.99
Used on car tyres, kayaks, and inflatables
Cons
Battery and charger are not included
One gauge failed after about 14 months
The amazon raw includes a chainsaw bullet and a 2 L tank field
Bulkier than a small car inflator
Best for: You want one 18 V pump for tyres and inflatables, and you already own a Power X-Change pack.
Less suitable: You need stored air, or you will treat the 2 L tank line as a receiver.
The PRESSITO 18/25 Hybrid runs from an 18 V pack or from a 250 cm mains cable, weighs 2.74 kg, and stops at a set pressure up to 11 bar. On amazon.co.uk it is 4.6 from 308 reviews at £84.98, and the battery is still not in the box. Reviewers praise tyre top-ups without a lead when the pack is fitted, and they call it light to carry. The listing sound level is 71.3 dB without saying whether that is LpA or LWA. PSI steps are too coarse for a target such as 26.5 psi, which one UK review hit when the display would not set 0.5 psi increments. It is not a fast high-volume pump, and the mains voltage on the cable is not stated in the amazon raw.
Pros
Mains cable or an 18 V pack, with auto-stop up to 11 bar
250 cm cable, two tyre adapters, and high- and low-pressure hoses
4.6 from 308 amazon.co.uk reviews at £84.98
Useful when the car is away from a socket and the bench is not
Cons
Battery not included, and the cable’s mains voltage is not stated
PSI steps are too coarse for half-psi targets
Some reviewers find it noisy
It is still an inflator, with no tank stated
Best for: You inflate tyres both on the drive and away from the house, and you can accept coarse psi steps.
Less suitable: You need 0.5 psi steps, or a receiver for air tools.
The TE-AC 135/24 Silent Plus (part 4020610, named TE-AC 24 Silent in the model field) is a 24 L oil-free receiver at 8 bar and 750 W, and on amazon.co.uk it sits at 4.4 from 481 reviews, priced at £169.93. Reviewers call it much quieter than older direct-drive compressors, and several say they run it without ear defenders beside the machine. The bullet states 57 dB as LpA, while Einhell’s service sheet for the same part also states 78 dB(A) LWA, so those two numbers are different quantities. Einhell’s UK page states 55 litres a minute at 7 bar, which covers inflation and light nailing, and one reviewer used an impact wrench, though a continuous hungry tool will still outrun a 750 W intermittent motor. At 22.2 kg it is not a machine you wheel around all day, and the listing does not confirm wheels. One buyer was sent an EU-spec unit, one unit would not start, and the voltage field says 220 V while the title says 240 V.
Pros
24 L oil-free tank with a regulator up to 8 bar
Bullet states 57 dB LpA; the service sheet also gives 78 dB(A) LWA
4.4 from 481 amazon.co.uk reviews at £169.93
Reviewers describe it as quieter than older direct-drive units
Einhell UK states 55 L/min at 7 bar for part 4020610
Cons
22.2 kg, and wheels are not stated
One buyer received an EU-spec unit
One unit would not start, and another arrived with a leaking connector
The amazon raw does not print the free-air figure
Best for: A home garage under a bedroom, where you want stored air for tyres, a blow gun, or light nailing and you can live with 8 bar.
Less suitable: You need 10 bar, a tool that must run continuously, or a compressor you will move around all day.
The TE-AC 36/150 Li OF-Solo is a 6 L oil-free tank on 36 V, which a bullet describes as two 18 V packs, at £141.95 and 4.4 from 182 amazon.co.uk reviews. Neither pack is in the box. The bullets state intake up to 150 litres a minute and output up to 95 litres a minute, without a pressure for that output. Reviewers use it to top tyres and blow a garage clean, and some find it quieter than a small mains 6 L unit. The stored blast lasts only about 5 to 10 seconds when someone tries to blast rust, and the batteries heat up. Hose and guns seen in videos were not in the box for one buyer, and many of the sampled review texts are not in English. The dimensions field of 10 × 10 × 10 mm is not credible for a 9.17 kg unit.
Pros
6 L oil-free tank you can take away from a socket
Output stated up to 95 L/min in the bullets
4.4 from 182 amazon.co.uk reviews at £141.95
Some reviewers prefer the noise to a small mains 6 L unit
Cons
Two 18 V packs, and neither is included
Stored air lasts only seconds when blasting rust
Batteries heat up under load
The dimensions field is not credible, and video accessories were missing
Best for: Light cordless blow-off and tyre work if you already own two Power X-Change packs.
Less suitable: A spray gun, a long nailer session, or anyone pricing the body as ready to run.
The TE-AC 18/75 Li OF-Solo is a 5 L oil-free tank on one 18 V pack, at £154.64 and 4.4 from 64 amazon.co.uk reviews. The bullet states output up to 23 litres a minute at 7 bar and intake up to 75 litres a minute, and the battery is not included. A UK review says a 4 Ah pack was not enough for a spray gun, and another says the unit worked once and then would not fill. Reviewers call it extremely loud, with vibration a neighbour could hear. The hose-length field says 20 m, which the bullets do not support on this portable. It can cover a very light hobby job if the pack is already on the shelf, and it is a weak bet as a workshop compressor at this price.
Pros
Stated output of 23 L/min at 7 bar on a 5 L tank
One 18 V pack rather than two
Carrying handle, listed at 7.76 kg
Some owners use it for tyres and a light nailer
Cons
£154.64 with no battery, from only 64 reviews
A 4 Ah pack was not enough for a spray gun in one UK review
One UK buyer says it inflated once and then stopped
Loud, and the 20 m hose field conflicts with the bullets
Best for: Very light hobby inflation if you already own 18 V packs and you accept a short run time.
Less suitable: You need a spray gun, or a machine that must keep filling on a 4 Ah pack.
The TC-AC 240/50/10 OF (the model field also says TH-AC, part 4010393) is the 50 L, 10 bar, 1,500 W oil-free upright in this set, at £212.95 with 4.3 from 2,487 amazon.co.uk reviews. Reviewers like the upright footprint and the 10 bar tank for a small workshop. Einhell’s UK page states 76 litres a minute at 7 bar and 77 dB(A) LpA, while the amazon sound-level line says 95 dB, so those figures are not the same measurement. UK reviews still call it louder than they expected, and one says the noise carries a long way from the garage. A motor failed within a year in one UK review, another buyer returned a unit after one day, and one arrived with a damaged plug. At 10 bar times 50 litres the receiver is 500 bar-litres, which is the sort of workplace system HSE’s example would put towards a written scheme. A private driveway is not that duty.
Pros
50 L tank and 10 bar, the highest plate pressure in this set
4.3 from 2,487 amazon.co.uk reviews at £212.95
Upright layout with a holding bar and large wheels, listed at 22.2 kg
Einhell UK states 76 L/min at 7 bar for part 4010393
Cons
Amazon sound level is 95 dB; the maker LpA is 77 dB(A)
Reviewers call it loud outside the garage
One UK review reports a motor failure within a year
The title says TC-AC and the model field says TH-AC
Best for: A small workshop that wants 10 bar and a real 50 L receiver, and can site a loud machine.
Less suitable: A garage under a bedroom, or anyone treating 240 L/min intake as the air a gun receives.
The SILENZZO 36/210 is an 8 L oil-free cordless compressor at £214.98, with 4.3 from only 16 amazon.co.uk reviews, and no review in the saved listing is marked United Kingdom. The bullets claim intake up to 210 litres a minute and output up to 120 litres a minute, while the air-flow field says 75 litres a minute. The sound-level line says 14 dB, which is not a usable measurement. A German-language review says a meter read 81 dB against a 60 dB claim. Reviewers who like it call it quiet for a compressor, oil-free, and able to hold pressure, including to blow a garden irrigation line clear. It weighs 17 kg, the packs drain quickly under load, and the specification line says 28 V against a 36 V title. The body does not include a battery.
Pros
8 L oil-free tank with a pressure reducer up to 8 bar
Several reviewers describe it as quiet in use
Holds pressure for a short blow-off, including irrigation lines
The listing states an 8-year spare-part line
Cons
4.3 from 16 reviews, and none of the raw texts is marked UK
The 14 dB sound-level line is not a measurement
17 kg, body only, and the packs drain under load
Voltage and air-flow fields contradict the title and the bullets
Best for: You already own 36 V packs and you want a small oil-free tank you can move, after you ignore the 14 dB line.
Less suitable: You want a UK review sample you can read, or you are buying it because the listing says 14 dB.
The TC-AC 190/24/8 is the only oil-lubricated compressor in this set: 24 L, 8 bar, 230 V, about 20 kg, £129.95, and 4.1 from 251 amazon.co.uk reviews. Reviewers say it holds tank pressure after the first fill and that a low-pressure spray gun is usable. The same file says it struggles to keep a dual-action orbital sander running, which is a free-air limit rather than a switch fault. It is noisy, at a stated 97 dB sound level, and it is heavy. A UK review describes a continental plug that had to be cut off and replaced with a 13 A plug, and a PCL outlet that did not match BSP fittings. Keep it upright so the oil stays in the pump, and do not expect the air to be free of oil.
Pros
A real 24 L tank that reviewers say holds pressure after the fill
The only oil-lubricated pump in this set
Pressure reducer, two wheels, and a handle, listed at 20 kg
A low-pressure spray gun was usable in reviews
Cons
Stated sound level 97 dB, and reviewers call it noisy
A review describes a continental plug and a PCL outlet
It will not keep up with a dual-action orbital sander
It must stay upright, and the air can carry oil
Best for: You want an oil-lubricated 24 L receiver for intermittent tools, and you will check the plug and the coupling on the day it arrives.
Less suitable: You tip the machine on its side, you need air without pump oil, or you want the quieter 24 L.
The TC-AC 190 OF Set is a 230 V, 1,100 W, oil-free suitcase at 8 bar and about 5 kg, priced at £83.00 with 3.8 from 454 amazon.co.uk reviews, the weakest stars in this set. The box includes a 3 m hose, a blower, a tyre inflator, and adapters, and there is no receiver. The tank-volume field says 190 L because that number is the intake in the model code, not a tank. Reviewers say it is very loud, at a stated 97 dB sound level, that pressure falls as soon as the pump stops, and that the gauge is hard to read. One review describes power that blasts for about a second and then dies. It will inflate a car tyre and blow dust, and it will not store air for a nailer.
Pros
230 V suitcase at about 5 kg with a 3 m hose
Oil-free, so it can travel on its side
Tyre gauge, blower, and adapters in the box
Storage for the hose and the cable
Cons
3.8 from 454 amazon.co.uk reviews, the weakest stars here
No tank, so pressure falls when the pump stops
Stated sound level 97 dB, and reviewers call it very loud
The 190 L tank field is the intake figure, not a receiver
Best for: Occasional tyre inflation and blow-off from a mains socket, if you accept continuous running and the noise.
Less suitable: You read 190 as litres of tank, or you want stored air for a tool.
Tyre inflation gauge and bicycle valve are included.
What accessories come with it?
3 m hose, blower, tyre inflator, ball needle, bicycle valve, cone adapter.
How we compared
For this comparison we read eleven Einhell compressor listings on amazon.co.uk, dated 19 October 2026, and checked tank, free air and noise lines against the Einhell UK page where the part number matches. Scores weight Amazon evidence at 25, listing fit at 45, review outcome at 15 and value at 15. We did not run a lab test. A listing sound level is not an LpA figure, and the 14 dB line is not a measurement.
1
Amazon evidence
25%
Star points use the amazon.co.uk rating, capped so that stars and review volume together cannot exceed 25. Volume adds more once a listing passes 30, 100, 400 and 2,000 reviews. A thin count cannot outrank a large one on stars alone.
2
Listing fit
45%
A receiver scores when the tank litres agree with the bullets. A handheld inflator scores when the listing does not invent a tank. Free air at a stated pressure, a named LpA or LWA, a clear voltage or battery platform, and a Solo line that says the battery is not included all sit in this block.
3
Review outcome
15%
A review file that names a job and a limit scores higher than a thin file or a file with no UK-marked text. An early failure pulls the score down. One defect report is not a failure rate.
4
Value
15%
Shelf price in GBP is judged against the job. Solo prices are marked down because the battery is a second purchase. The lowest price does not win this block on its own, and the best-value award uses a separate rule.

Einhell compressor buying guide
Choose the job first, then the air the tool actually receives, then what is in the box. A Solo price and an intake figure in the model code both overstate what you are buying.
What is an Einhell compressor?
An Einhell compressor in this set is a pump that raises air above 0.5 bar. BS EN 1012-1:2010 covers air compressors above that pressure when they are not used in explosive atmospheres. On amazon.co.uk the brand name covers a handheld inflator, a suitcase with no receiver, small cordless tanks, and mains receivers of 24 L and 50 L. The job decides the type. Tyres, balls and mattresses suit the CE-CC 18 Li-Solo and the PRESSITO models.
Best for
Drivers who already own 18 V Einhell packs and want to inflate tyres at home
Home workshops that need a 24 L or 50 L receiver and can site the noise
Not ideal for
Anyone reading a Solo shelf price as a machine that is ready to run
A workplace that treats a 50 L product page as a written scheme of examination
Mistakes to avoid
1
Paying a Solo price and expecting a battery
CE-CC, both PRESSITO bodies, TE-AC 18/75, TE-AC 36/150 and SILENZZO are body-only. TE-AC 36/150 asks for two 18 V packs. The hybrid still does not include a battery. The shelf price is not the cost to run.
2
Reading intake as free air
A 240 L/min intake on the 50 L model is not the air a gun receives at 7 bar. Einhell UK states 76 L/min at 7 bar for that part. The PRESSITO 18/21 page states 6 L/min at 7 bar. Model code 190 is not a 190 L tank.
3
Ranking unlike noise figures
57 dB(A) LpA on the silent 24 L is not the same quantity as a 97 dB sound level, or as 78 dB(A) LWA on the same part’s service sheet. The SILENZZO line of 14 decibels is not a measurement. Do not call one model the quietest from those cells.
What to weigh up
Job and free air
High
Start with the job. Tyres, balls and mattresses suit the CE-CC 18 Li-Solo and the PRESSITO models, which stop at a set pressure and do not store a blast. A nailer, a blow gun or a spray gun needs a tank that holds pressure after the pump stops. The suitcase has no receiver. Free air at the pressure you use is the figure that matters. Einhell states 6 L/min at 7 bar for the PRESSITO 18/21, 55 L/min at 7 bar for the silent 24 L and 76 L/min at 7 bar for the 50 L.
Supply, oil and noise
High
Mains receivers run while the lead is plugged in. Solo listings leave the battery and charger out, and the 36 V tank asks for two 18 V packs. The hybrid adds a 250 cm cable, but the amazon raw does not state that cable’s mains voltage. Only the TC-AC 190/24/8 is oil-lubricated: keep it upright, and do not expect the air to be free of oil. Oil-free units can lie on their side. They still need condensate drained, and several reviews call them the loud ones.
Which option suits you?
Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.
🚗
Driver with an 18 V pack
You already own Power X-Change batteries and you want to skip the forecourt inflator. The CE-CC 18 Li-Solo stops at a set pressure up to 11 bar, weighs 0.76 kg and costs about £46.99. The battery is not in the box, and it will not store air for a nailer.
You want a 24 L receiver for tyres, a blow gun or light nailing, and you care about noise. The TE-AC 24 Silent is oil-free, 8 bar, about £169.93, with 57 dB stated as LpA. It weighs 22.2 kg. It is the wrong machine if you need 10 bar or continuous air.
You want the 50 L oil-free receiver at 10 bar, about £212.95. Einhell UK states 76 L/min at 7 bar for part 4010393. Reviewers still call it loud. At work, 10 bar times 50 L is 500 bar-litres, so do not treat the product page as a written scheme.
The TE-AC 24 Silent is the top pick. It has the highest score in this set: a 24 L oil-free mains receiver at 8 bar and about £169.93, rated 4.4 from 481 amazon.co.uk reviews. The bullet states 57 dB as LpA. Einhell’s service sheet for part 4020610 also states 78 dB(A) LWA, a different quantity, and Einhell UK states 55 L/min at 7 bar. Skip it if you need 10 bar or a machine you will carry all day. Wheels are not stated, and it weighs 22.2 kg.
Which Einhell compressor is the best value?
The CE-CC 18 Li-Solo is the best value. It is the cheapest tyre inflator here with more than 1,000 amazon.co.uk reviews, auto-stop, and no tank-field conflict. It costs about £46.99 and is rated 4.7 from 3,760 reviews. It stops at a set pressure up to 11 bar and weighs 0.76 kg. The battery and charger are not in the box, and reviewers say the gauge can read a bit high or low. It stores no air, so it will not run a nailer.
How much does an Einhell compressor cost?
On these amazon.co.uk listings from 19 October 2026, shelf prices run from about £46.99 for the CE-CC 18 Li-Solo to about £214.98 for the SILENZZO 36/210. Inflators, the hybrid and the suitcase sit at about £47 to £85. The 24 L oil model, the two small cordless tanks and the silent 24 L sit at about £130 to £170. The 50 L receiver is about £212.95. Solo prices exclude a battery. A live check of the oil 24 L showed £130.03 against the £129.95 export.
Do I need a tank on an Einhell compressor?
You need a tank when the tool wants a stored blast, such as a nailer or a blow gun. Tyres, balls and mattresses suit the CE-CC and the PRESSITO models, which are handheld pumps. The TC-AC 190 OF Set is a suitcase with no receiver, and reviewers say pressure dies when the pump stops. Do not read 190 in that model code as 190 litres of tank. Einhell’s PRESSITO 18/21 page states a tank volume of 0 L.
What does a Solo Einhell compressor leave out?
Solo means the battery and charger are not in the box. That applies here to the CE-CC, both PRESSITO bodies, the TE-AC 18/75, the TE-AC 36/150 and the SILENZZO. The TE-AC 36/150 asks for two 18 V packs. The PRESSITO 18/25 Hybrid adds a 250 cm mains cable, and the battery is still not included. Add the pack cost before you compare a Solo shelf price with a mains receiver. Body-only machines are also in our cordless compressors comparison.
Can I compare the Einhell noise numbers?
No. The silent 24 L bullet states 57 dB as LpA, and the service sheet states 78 dB(A) LWA for the same part. The 50 L listing says 95 dB, while Einhell UK states 77 dB(A) LpA. Figures of 95–97 dB on other listings are not the same measurement. The SILENZZO line of 14 decibels is not a usable measurement. Noise action values of 80 and 85 dB(A) are workplace exposure figures, not the number on the carton.
Does a home compressor need a written scheme?
Not on a private driveway. The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 apply to compressed air above 0.5 bar at work. HSE’s INDG178 example says a receiver is likely to need a written scheme when bar times litres is 250 or more. 8 bar times 24 L is 192. 10 bar times 50 L is 500, so a workplace 50 L receiver is not exempt. A product page is not that scheme. Call a competent person for workplace use or a safety-valve repair.
Will these Einhell models run a spray gun?
Do not assume they will. A UK reviewer of the 24 L oil model said a low-pressure gun was usable and a dual-action sander was not. A UK review of the TE-AC 18/75 said a 4 Ah pack was not enough for a spray gun. Free air at 7 bar is the limit, not the intake in the model code. Einhell states 55 L/min at 7 bar for the silent 24 L and 76 L/min at 7 bar for the 50 L. Match the tool to that figure.
Our verdict
The TE-AC 24 Silent is the top pick: the highest score, a real 24 L receiver, a named LpA of 57 dB, and reviews that describe a quieter garage job, at about £169.93. The CE-CC 18 Li-Solo is the best value, the cheapest tyre inflator here with more than 1,000 reviews, auto-stop and no tank conflict, at about £46.99, and only if the battery is already yours. The 50 L model is the 10 bar receiver. The suitcase is not the value pick, and a Solo shelf price is not the cost to run.
