Airbrush gun comparison 2026

The best airbrush guns, compared.

Top pick: Xyvolve 0.3 mm Best value: Fengda FE-130 – Cheapest stated 0.3 mm gravity double-action gun in this set, at about £15.99, with a fine spray described in 1,473 reviews. Updated 20 October 2026.

Peter F.
Peter F.Editor

An airbrush gun atomises thinned fluid through a needle and nozzle, usually 0.2–0.5 mm. UK buyers use one for models, miniatures, cakes, nails and crafts, not for a car panel. A sound first gun is gravity feed, double action, a matched 0.3 mm setup, and pressure you can set. A printed maximum of 50 psi is a ceiling, not the 15–30 psi band miniature guidance uses. Seven still need a compressor you already own. Three are cordless kits whose pressure lines do not agree with themselves. Feed, nozzle and air are set out in the [airbrush gun buying guide](/hub/compressors/airbrush-gun/sub/airbrush-gun-buying-guide). On these amazon.co.uk listings the job is models, miniatures, cakes, nails and crafts. It is the wrong tool for a car panel. 0.3 mm is the usual first size for a model base coat. 0.2 mm is finer and clogs sooner. 0.5 mm covers primer and larger areas.

The best airbrush guns in detail

Xyvolve 0.3 mm

Rank 1

Xyvolve 0.3 mm

∼£40

Our view

The Xyvolve at £39.99 is a dual-action gravity gun with a 0.3 mm nozzle, a 7 ml metal cup with a lid, a stated working band of 15–50 PSI, and a 1/8 inch female thread for a 4 mm hose. The listing also gives a spray distance of 50–100 mm. The amazon.co.uk line is 5.0 from 1 review, and that reviewer had not used the gun, so there is no used-product record. The hose and the compressor are not included. A power-source field that says corded electric conflicts with a gun that needs compressed air. At this price, UK shop pages for a Neo CN and a Harder & Steenbeck Ultra sit in a similar or higher band and name a warranty this listing does not. Do not treat one unused star as a reason to prefer it over the Rosemary & Co.

Pros

  • Dual-action gravity feed, 0.3 mm nozzle and a 7 ml metal cup with a lid
  • Working band stated as 15–50 PSI
  • 1/8 inch female thread for a 4 mm hose
  • Listed spray distance of 50–100 mm

Cons

  • 5.0 from 1 review, and that reviewer had not used it
  • Hose and compressor are not included
  • £39.99 without a used-product record
  • The power-source field says corded electric

Best for: You already trust the specification lines and you only need a single 0.3 mm gravity gun with a stated 15–50 PSI band.

Less suitable: You want UK reviews of a gun that has actually sprayed, or you want three nozzle sizes for less money.

Common questions

Does it need a compressor?

Yes. The listing gives a 1/8 inch female thread for a 4 mm internal-diameter hose and does not include a compressor.

What pressure and cup are listed?

Working pressure 15–50 PSI, spray distance 50–100 mm, and a 7 ml gravity cup with a lid.

How many reviews are there?

The listing shows 5.0 from 1 review. That reviewer had not used it yet, so there is no used-product complaint in the saved listing.

Timbertech ABPST01

Rank 2

Timbertech ABPST01

∼£22

Our view

The Timbertech ABPST01 at £21.95 is the most reviewed gun in this set, at 4.5 from 4,080 amazon.co.uk reviews. The box includes 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm needles, a 2 m hose, an adapter, a case, a wrench and four pipettes. That hose does not replace a compressor. The listing does not state whether the trigger is dual action, and it does not state the feed. The cup is printed as both 5 ml and 7 ml, and the maximum is 3.5 bar. UK reviews like the hose and the three sizes for the price, and they also describe heavy thinning, clogging, a weak nozzle seal, and needles that bind. The star count shows popularity. It does not show that the gun sprays unthinned paint.

Pros

  • 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 mm needles, a 2 m hose, an adapter and a case
  • 4.5 from 4,080 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • Wrench and four pipettes included
  • £21.95 with the hose already in the box

Cons

  • A compressor is not included, and action and feed are not stated
  • Cup volume is printed as both 5 ml and 7 ml
  • UK reviews describe heavy thinning, clogging and a weak nozzle seal
  • Needles that bind come up in the review text

Best for: You already have a compressor and you want a hose plus three needle sizes in one amazon.co.uk order.

Less suitable: You are choosing a gun because of the review count alone, or you need the feed and trigger stated on the listing.

0.2 mm, 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm, plus a wrench. The cup is given as 5 ml in a bullet and 7 ml on the specification line.

What comes up in UK reviews?

Reviewers like the hose and three sizes for the price. Repeated complaints are heavy thinning, clogging, a weak nozzle seal, and needles that bind.

SAGUD SD-116B U

Rank 3

SAGUD SD-116B U

∼£39

Our view

The SAGUD SD-116B U at £38.99 includes a 1.8 m hose, cups of 2 cc, 5 cc and 13 cc, a wrench, and extra 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm needle and nozzle parts beside a 0.3 mm setup. It shows 4.5 from 31 amazon.co.uk reviews. The title says double action and one bullet says single action with adjustable airflow, so the trigger is not settled on the page. Pressure is not stated, and a compressor is not stated. UK reviews praise a trigger that felt easier than other guns and say the gun can be stripped for cleaning. One new user reported blockages while learning to thin paint. Thirty-one reviews is a small sample for a gun that costs more than the Timbertech. Buy it only if the hose and the small cups are the point, and you can check the trigger on arrival.

Pros

  • 1.8 m hose with 2 cc, 5 cc and 13 cc cups
  • Extra 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm needle and nozzle parts
  • 4.5 from 31 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • UK reviews say it can be stripped for cleaning

Cons

  • The title says double action and a bullet says single action
  • Pressure and a compressor are not stated
  • Only 31 reviews
  • £38.99 is more than the Timbertech hose kit

Best for: You already have a compressor and you want a hose plus very small cups, and you will check the trigger when it arrives.

Less suitable: You need a stated dual-action trigger and a stated pressure before you pay nearly £39.

Common questions

Is the trigger double action or single action?

The title says double action. One bullet says single action with adjustable airflow. The saved listing does not resolve that.

What comes with it?

Three cups (2 cc, 5 cc and 13 cc), a 1.8 m hose, a wrench, and extra 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm needle and nozzle parts. A compressor is not stated.

What do reviewers say about the trigger?

UK reviews praise a trigger that is easier than other guns they had used, and say the gun can be stripped for cleaning. One new user reported blockages while learning to thin paint.

Anmas Power 0.3 mm kit

Rank 4

Anmas Power 0.3 mm kit

∼£16

Our view

The Anmas Power kit at £16.14 is a dual-action gravity gun with a 0.3 mm nozzle, a 7 cc cup, a storage case, a dropper and a nozzle wrench. It shows 4.4 from 250 amazon.co.uk reviews, a higher average than the Fengda on a smaller sample. UK reviews say the paint has to be thinned heavily and that cleaning between colours is slow. At least one gun blew paint from the cup until the seal was rebuilt. There is no hose and no compressor. A specification line that puts 0.01 litres beside the 7 cc cup is not a second tank. Buy it when you want a cased 0.3 mm gun and you can thin paint. Do not buy it as a ready-to-spray kit.

Pros

  • Dual-action gravity feed, 0.3 mm nozzle and a 7 cc cup
  • Storage case, dropper and nozzle wrench included
  • 4.4 from 250 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • £16.14, close to the cheapest gun in the set

Cons

  • No hose or compressor
  • UK reviews say paint must be thinned heavily
  • Cleaning between colours is described as slow
  • One review describes paint blown from the cup until the seal was rebuilt

Best for: You already have air and a hose, and you want a cased 0.3 mm gun for base coats.

Less suitable: You have no compressor, or you need 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm in the same order.

Common questions

Is a compressor in the box?

No. Included parts are the airbrush with a 7 cc cup, a dropper, instructions, a nozzle wrench and a storage case.

What is it listed for?

Art and craft, model making, cake decorations, nail art, temporary tattoos and automotive touch-ups. The listing does not name a food colour.

What do reviewers struggle with?

UK reviews say paint has to be thinned heavily, cleaning between colours is slow, and at least one gun blew paint from the cup until the seal was rebuilt.

Rosemary & Co 0.2/0.3/0.5 mm

Rank 5

Rosemary & Co 0.2/0.3/0.5 mm

∼£23

Our view

The Rosemary & Co gun at £22.65 is the top pick in this set because the listing states a dual-action gravity feed, a 0.3 mm nozzle already fitted, 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm sets in the box, a 7 ml cup, and a 1/8 inch BSP male thread. The amazon.co.uk line is 4.4 from 119 reviews. The printed maximum is 55 psi, which is a ceiling, not the 15–30 psi band miniature guides use. UK reviews include buyers who preferred it to a Timbertech they already owned, and they also mention a heavy feel, small clogs, and a 0.5 mm set that blocked or leaked. The hose and the compressor are not in the box, so the thread only helps if you already have air or you buy a matching hose. It is the wrong pick if you wanted one box that sprays on the day it arrives.

Pros

  • Dual-action gravity feed with 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 mm parts and a 7 ml cup
  • 1/8 inch BSP male thread is named on the listing
  • 4.4 from 119 amazon.co.uk reviews, including buyers who preferred it to a Timbertech
  • Nozzle wrench and pipettes are in the box

Cons

  • Hose and compressor are not included
  • UK reviews mention a heavy feel and small clogs
  • A 0.5 mm set blocked or leaked for some buyers
  • 55 psi is a maximum, not a working pressure you can set

Best for: You already have a compressor, or you will buy a 1/8 inch hose, and you want three nozzle sizes on one gravity gun.

Less suitable: You need air in the same box, or you want the lightest gun for a long session.

0.3 mm is described as pre-installed, with 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm needles, nozzles and caps also in the box, plus a 7 ml cup.

What do UK reviews mention?

Magicrose three-nozzle kit

Rank 6

Magicrose three-nozzle kit

∼£17

Our view

The Magicrose TJ-130A-HT at £16.99 puts 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm needles, nozzles and caps in one box, with 7 cc, 20 cc and 40 cc cups and a mini spanner. The listing says press down for air and pull back for paint, and it claims a quick disconnect for most standard airbrush compressors. It shows 4.2 from 58 amazon.co.uk reviews. The file has no repeated UK complaint beyond cleaning after each use, so the sample is too small to treat the stars as a settled record. A capacity line of 67 cc does not match the three cups. The compressor and the hose are not listed. It is a first multi-size kit only if air is already on the bench.

Pros

  • 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 mm parts with 7 cc, 20 cc and 40 cc cups
  • Dual action described as down for air and back for paint
  • £16.99 for three nozzle sizes
  • Mini spanner included

Cons

  • Only 58 reviews, with little used-product detail in the file
  • Hose and compressor are not listed
  • A 67 cc capacity line does not match the three cups
  • 50 psi is a maximum, not a gauge setting

Best for: You already have a compressor and you want three nozzle sizes and three cups for about £17.

Less suitable: You want a large UK review file before you trust a budget gun, or you have no air supply.

Does it include a hose?

The included-components line does not list a hose or a compressor. The listing says it fits most standard airbrush compressors.

How does the trigger work?

The listing says press down for air and pull back for paint. Clean it after each use, which is the only care note in the saved listing.

Fengda FE-130

Rank 7

Fengda FE-130

∼£16

Our view

The Fengda FE-130 at £15.99 is the best value in this set if you already own a hose and a compressor. It is a gravity-feed double-action gun with a 0.3 mm needle and nozzle and a 7 ml cup, and the listing maximum is 50 psi. Across 1,473 amazon.co.uk reviews it sits at 4.1. Reviewers often praise a fine spray for the price, and they also say the gun needs tightening, clogs more than some other guns, and that generic needles often do not fit. The box is the airbrush, a plastic dropper and a wrench. A power-source field that says Gravity Feed is a listing error, not a power supply. Skip it if you have no air, or if you need 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm in the same order.

Pros

  • 0.3 mm gravity double-action gun with a 7 ml cup
  • £15.99, the lowest price in this set
  • 4.1 from 1,473 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • Wrench and dropper included

Cons

  • Hose and compressor are not in the box
  • Reviews say it needs tightening and clogs more than some other guns
  • Generic needles often do not fit
  • 50 psi is a maximum, not a regulated working pressure

Best for: You already have a compressor and a hose, and you want the cheapest stated 0.3 mm gravity gun in this set.

Less suitable: You need the air supply in the box, or you need spare needles that the reviews say will fit.

A 0.3 mm needle and nozzle, with a 7 ml gravity cup. The listing maximum pressure is 50 psi.

Buyers praise the fine spray for the price and say it needs tightening, clogs more than some other guns, and that generic needles often do not fit.

Ykall cordless kit

Rank 8

Ykall cordless kit

∼£28

Our view

The Ykall at £28.49 is a cordless kit with a 0.4 mm nozzle, 20 ml and 40 ml cups, five cleaning brushes and a 1000 mAh battery charged by USB. The bullets say up to 34 PSI, while the specification line says 34 Pascal, which is not the same unit, so the pressure claim is not usable as printed. It shows 4.0 from 123 amazon.co.uk reviews. One UK review says the battery lasted about 20 minutes on a stencil, and another says a separate compressor is still required. Action and feed are not stated. It can cover a short craft session if the unit you receive actually moves air, and it is a poor pick when the job needs a set pressure.

Pros

  • Cordless kit with 20 ml and 40 ml cups
  • 0.4 mm nozzle and five cleaning brushes and needles
  • 4.0 from 123 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • USB charging is stated

Cons

  • Bullets say 34 PSI and the specification line says 34 Pascal
  • 1000 mAh, with one review at about 20 minutes on a stencil
  • Action and feed are not stated
  • One review says a separate compressor is still required

Best for: You want a short cordless craft session and you will ignore the Pascal line until you have tried the airflow.

Less suitable: You need a stated 0.3 mm gun, a gauge, or a pressure figure that uses one unit.

A built-in 1000 mAh rechargeable battery and a USB cable. One UK review says the battery lasted about 20 minutes on a stencil.

Why are there two pressure figures?

The bullets say up to 34 PSI. The specification line says 34 Pascal. Both are printed. They are not the same unit.

What else is in the box?

The airbrush, a dropper, a 20 ml cup, a 40 ml cup, a 0.4 mm nozzle and five cleaning brushes and needles.

Fantspati cordless kit

Rank 9

Fantspati cordless kit

∼£24

Our view

The Fantspati JM0312 at £23.99 is a cordless kit with a 0.3 mm double-action gun, a braided hose, a direct mount, three cups of unstated size, and a cleaning kit. The bullets list 28, 38 and 48 PSI and 15 litres per minute. A specification line says maximum pressure 7.4 with no unit, and the 6000 mAh figure sits in an item highlight rather than the specification table. It shows 3.9 from 28 amazon.co.uk reviews. Most of the UK texts call it a usable starter, and one reviewer says there was no useful power. Feed type is not stated. Use it for a short session if you can return a unit that does not move air. Skip it if you need a gauge you can set near 20 psi.

Pros

  • Cordless kit with a 0.3 mm double-action gun
  • Braided hose and a direct mount are both described
  • Bullets list three steps at 28, 38 and 48 PSI
  • Cleaning kit, brushes and gloves are listed

Cons

  • A specification line says 7.4 with no unit
  • 6000 mAh is in a highlight, not the specification table
  • Feed type and cup sizes are not stated
  • One review says there was no useful power

Best for: You want a short cordless session and you can return a unit that has no useful airflow.

Less suitable: You need a regulated 15–30 psi for miniatures, or you need the battery capacity in the specification table.

Aloxina cordless kit

Rank 10

Aloxina cordless kit

∼£21

Our view

The Aloxina at £20.99 is the weakest cordless listing in this set. The bullets state 48 PSI, 15 litres per minute, a 0.3 mm nozzle and a 2000 mAh battery with a claimed 1–2 hours, but the components field names only a USB cable, the cup size is not given, and dual action and feed are not stated. It shows 3.7 from 3 amazon.co.uk reviews. Two praise a smooth spray for nails, cake, models and crafts, and one verified review says it works for about two minutes and then blocks. A headline of 48 PSI is not a 15–30 psi working pressure, and there is no gauge. Buy it only as a trial you can return under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if it is faulty, not as the air supply for a miniature session.

Pros

  • Cordless, with a 0.3 mm nozzle in the bullets
  • 2000 mAh battery and a claimed 1–2 hours
  • £20.99, the cheapest cordless kit in this set

Cons

  • 3.7 from only 3 reviews
  • One verified review says it blocks after about two minutes
  • Cup size, feed and trigger type are not stated
  • The components field names a USB cable, while brushes appear only in the bullets

Best for: You want the cheapest cordless trial in this set and you can return it if it blocks.

Less suitable: You are priming miniatures, or you need a review file that describes more than three buyers.

How we compared

For this comparison we read ten airbrush gun listings on amazon.co.uk, dated 19 October 2026. Scores use those listing figures and the review notes already on the cards. This is not a lab test. A 48 PSI bullet is not scored as a set 20 psi, and a specification line in Pascal is not converted into psi. The weights below sum to 100.

1

Listing fit

40%

Gravity feed, double action stated without a contradiction, a 0.3 mm nozzle, extra sizes in the box, a hose, and a pressure line that uses one unit. A cordless PSI bullet is reduced when the specification line uses another unit or a bare number.

2

Amazon evidence

25%

Star points from the amazon.co.uk average, plus a bonus for a larger review file. Under 10 reviews is deducted. One review written before the gun was used is deducted again.

3

Review outcome

20%

A large file that describes a fine spray and a named clog or needle limit scores above a small file, a two-minute block, or a review written before the gun was used.

4

Value

15%

Shelf price in GBP against a gun or kit you can order. A low price does not score when the pressure line is unusable or the reviews say the unit blocks in minutes.

Buying an airbrush gun

Ten listings is enough to separate a gun you can order from a pressure line you cannot use. Start with the nozzle and the trigger, then ask whether the box contains air. A 4.5 from thousands of reviews still has to say how the gun is fed. A 5.0 from one unused review does not. Prices below are the amazon.co.uk shelf prices on 19 October 2026, in GBP.

What is an airbrush gun?

An airbrush gun pushes thinned fluid past a needle and out of a nozzle, usually between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm. On these amazon.co.uk listings the job is models, miniatures, cakes, nails and crafts. It is the wrong tool for a car panel. A sound first gun, in the order the buying notes use, is a nozzle matched to the job, gravity feed, double action, and air you can set. 0.3 mm is the usual first size for a model base coat. 0.2 mm is finer and clogs sooner. 0.5 mm covers primer and larger areas.

Best for

  • Model and miniature painters who already have a regulated compressor
  • Cake and nail users who can strip the gun and use food-labelled colour for anything eaten

Not ideal for

  • Car panels, or any isocyanate or two-pack spraying
  • Buyers who need a gauge, a hose and a compressor in the same box

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

Assuming the kit includes a compressor

A hose, a case or a wrench is not air. Seven of these listings still need a compressor you already own. Only the three cordless kits claim a battery compressor, and their pressure lines do not agree with themselves.

  2. 2

    Spraying at the printed maximum

50 psi, 55 psi and 48 PSI are ceilings on these pages, not the setting. Miniature guidance starts near 20 psi. Iwata lists 20–30 psi for the Revolution BR and 8–20 psi for the Neo CN.

  3. 3

Mixing needles and starting the paint first

Needle and nozzle have to match, and air comes before paint. Reviews on the Fengda, Timbertech, Anmas Power and Rosemary & Co return to clogs, seals and needles that do not fit. Clean the gun straight away and backflush with a cloth, not a finger.

What to weigh up

Nozzle, feed and action

High

The nozzle decides the job more than the brand name on the box. 0.3 mm is the usual first size for a model base coat. 0.2 mm lays a finer line and clogs sooner. 0.5 mm moves primer and larger areas. A 0.8 mm needle, which the SAGUD adds beside 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm, is coarser again. Needle and nozzle have to be a matched set. Airbrushes.com and Scale Model Shop treat 0.3 mm as the balanced start, and a generic needle often does not fit the Fengda.

Air supply and working pressure

High

Air is a separate purchase unless the listing truly includes a compressor. A hose is not a compressor. The Timbertech box has a 2 m hose and an adapter. The SAGUD has a 1.8 m hose. The Rosemary & Co names a 1/8 inch BSP male thread and still leaves the hose out. The Xyvolve names a 1/8 inch female thread for a 4 mm hose. Miniature guidance starts near 20 psi. Iwata lists 20–30 psi for the Revolution BR and 8–20 psi for the Neo CN. Cake guidance cited by Domson is about 15–20 psi.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

Miniature painters

You need a 0.3 mm gravity double-action gun and a compressor you can set near 20 psi. A 48 PSI cordless headline does not replace that. The Rosemary & Co states the feed, the trigger, three nozzle sizes and a 1/8 inch BSP thread.

Cake and nail users

You need a gun you can strip, and small cups. Anything that is eaten needs a colour permitted and labelled for food. The SAGUD includes 2 cc, 5 cc and 13 cc cups and a 1.8 m hose, and you should check the trigger on arrival because the listing contradicts itself.

One-box short sessions

You want air in the same box for a short craft session, and you can return a unit that does not move air. The Fantspati states a 0.3 mm double-action gun and a braided hose. Its specification line still says 7.4 with no unit.

Common questions about airbrush guns

Which airbrush gun is the top pick?
The top pick is the Rosemary & Co 0.2/0.3/0.5 mm at about £22.65. The listing states a gravity feed, double action, a 0.3 mm nozzle already fitted, 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm sets, a 7 ml cup and a 1/8 inch BSP male thread. It shows 4.4 from 119 amazon.co.uk reviews. The hose and the compressor are not included. UK reviews mention a heavy feel, small clogs, and a 0.5 mm set that blocked or leaked.
How much does an airbrush gun cost?
On this amazon.co.uk check of 19 October 2026, gun-only and hose kits run about £15.99 to £22.65 for the Fengda, Anmas Power, Magicrose, Timbertech and Rosemary & Co. Cordless kits sit about £20.99 to £28.49. The SAGUD and the Xyvolve are about £38.99 and £39.99, and neither is a bench compressor. Outside this set, UK shops list a Neo CN and a Harder & Steenbeck Ultra nearer £45 to £149.
What should I check before I buy?
Check four things in this order. The nozzle should match the job, and 0.3 mm is the usual first size for a base coat. Gravity feed and double action should be stated without a bullet that says the opposite. The included-parts line should say whether a hose or a compressor is in the box. The pressure line should be a maximum or a working band in psi or bar, not psi in one place and Pascal in another.
Do these kits include a compressor?
Most of these guns do not. The Fengda, Anmas Power, Magicrose, Rosemary & Co and Xyvolve include neither a hose nor a compressor. The Timbertech includes a 2 m hose and the SAGUD a 1.8 m hose, and neither listing puts a compressor in the box. Only the Aloxina, Fantspati and Ykall claim a built-in battery compressor. For a tank, a regulator and a gauge, see the air compressor comparison.
What pressure should I spray at?
Set a working pressure, not the maximum printed on the gun. Miniature guidance starts near 20 psi. Iwata lists 20–30 psi for the Revolution BR and 8–20 psi for the Neo CN. Cake guidance cited by Domson is about 15–20 psi. The Ykall bullets say 34 PSI and the specification line says 34 Pascal. Those are not the same unit, so that line is not a gauge setting.
Can I use one of these guns on a cake?
Only with a colour that is a permitted food additive and labelled for food. A cake in a product title is not evidence that the paint is food-safe, and "non-toxic" is not "for food". The Food Standards Agency notes that E171 is not permitted for use in Northern Ireland. Isocyanate or two-pack spraying is an HSE control, with a booth or room and air-fed breathing apparatus, not a kitchen job.
Why is the Timbertech not the top pick?
The Timbertech ABPST01 shows 4.5 from 4,080 amazon.co.uk reviews, with a 2 m hose and 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 mm needles, at about £21.95. The listing does not state the trigger or the feed, and the cup is printed as both 5 ml and 7 ml. UK reviews describe heavy thinning, clogging, a weak nozzle seal and needles that bind. The review count shows popularity. It does not show that the gun sprays unthinned paint.

Our verdict

If you already have a compressor, the top pick is the Rosemary & Co 0.2/0.3/0.5 mm at about £22.65: gravity feed, double action, three nozzle sizes and a named 1/8 inch BSP thread, at 4.4 from 119 reviews. The best value is the Fengda FE-130 at about £15.99, the cheapest stated 0.3 mm gravity double-action gun in this set, with a fine spray in the reviews and no hose in the box. Skip a cordless kit when the pressure line uses two units, or when one of three reviews says the gun blocks after about two minutes.
