Top pick: Valorada 35/35 euro cylinder Best value: XFORT 50/50 euro cylinder – Best price for a complete euro double with a four-figure review file: about £13.99, 4.6 from 4,182 reviews, and a stated 50/50 split. Updated October 2026.
A lock cylinder is the barrel that reads the key. On a uPVC or composite multipoint door it is a euro profile. On a night latch it is a rim cylinder, which will not enter that gearbox. Measure from the centre of the fixing screw to each face of the handle. Overall length alone is the wrong number. 35/35 is 70 mm overall. 50/50 is 100 mm. A thumbturn is handed: the side marked T goes inside.
For an external euro door, look for a TS 007 3-star Kitemark or Sold Secure, fitted so the outside stands proud by no more than 3 mm. A bullet that only says anti-snap, anti-pick or BS EN 1303 is not that mark. Only the greenteQ states a 3-star Kitemark, and only the states:2024 with Sold Secure.
The [lock cylinder buying guide](/hub/door-and-window-security/lock-cylinder/sub/lock-cylinder-buying-guide) puts profile, split and the mark in that order.
A euro double uses a key on both sides. A euro thumbturn uses a key outside and a turn inside.

The Valorada 35/35 is a key-both-sides euro cylinder, 70 mm overall, at about £10.49, with 4.8 from 40 amazon.co.uk reviews. That is the highest star rating in this set, on a small file. The pack lists five keys, two screws at 60 mm and 75 mm, and a tin. The bullets say 35/35 and tell you to measure the old cylinder, and reviews repeat that each side of the screw needs checking. There is no TS 007 or Sold Secure line. This is not the thumbturn Valorada, which is a different ASIN written 35/35T. Forty reviews at 4.8 do not make it a stated 3-star cylinder. It is a low-price 35/35 double when you have measured both sides and the door is low risk.
Pros
Stated 35/35, 70 mm, key both sides
4.8 from 40 amazon.co.uk reviews
Five keys and two screw lengths, 60 mm and 75 mm
About £10.49
Cons
No TS 007 or Sold Secure line
Only 40 reviews behind the 4.8 rating
Not the thumbturn, which is a different ASIN
Still has to be measured side by side
Best for: You have measured 35 mm each side, you want a key on the inside as well as the outside, and the door is low risk.
Less suitable: You wanted a thumbturn, or the street door needs a stated Kitemark or Diamond cylinder.
The greenteQ Orion, sold by Truly PVC Limited, is a nickel 35/35 thumbturn, 70 mm overall, at about £32.06, with 4.7 from 833 amazon.co.uk reviews. A bullet says the TS007 Kitemark offers 3-star intruder resistance, and the listing also states a 10-year guarantee. The file does not include a certificate number, so you still check the mark on the cylinder you receive. The components line lists lock and screws only, while reviewers repeatedly say five keys arrived, and some registered the cylinder for more. Short screws on thick doors come up, and one buyer found the thumbturn position stops the outside key from locking. One cylinder stuck after about a year, and keyed alike with another length was not available to one buyer. It is the thumbturn to open first for a measured 35/35 street door, because it is the only listing here that states a TS007 3-star Kitemark.
Pros
Only listing in this set that states a TS007 3-star Kitemark
35/35 thumbturn, 70 mm, at about £32.06
4.7 from 833 amazon.co.uk reviews
Reviewers report five keys even though the components line lists lock and screws
Cons
No certificate number in the file
Short screws on thick doors
One buyer could not lock from outside unless the turn was in a set position
One cylinder stuck after about a year, and another length was not available keyed alike
Best for: You have measured 35 mm each side, the inside can be a turn that nobody can reach from outside, and you want the listing that states a TS007 3-star Kitemark.
Less suitable: You need a key on both sides, the split is not 35/35, or you need a certificate number printed in the listing before you order.
Yes. A bullet says the TS007 Kitemark offers 3-star intruder resistance. The file does not include a certificate number.
How many keys does the components line list?
It lists lock and screws only. Reviewers repeatedly say five keys arrived, and some registered the cylinder for more.
What failed in the reviews?
Short screws on thick doors, a thumbturn position that stops the outside key locking, and one cylinder that stuck after about a year. Keyed alike with another length was not available to one buyer.
The Yale 1109 is a night-latch rim cylinder at about £9.12, with 4.7 from 594 amazon.co.uk reviews, for doors the listing puts at 38–57 mm thick. Yale describes key access from one side. It will not replace a euro cylinder in a multipoint lock. The title and a bullet say four keys, the piece-count field says six, and many reviews say six keys arrived, so the count conflicts. Reviews say the tail bar is cut to the old length. One buyer cut it too short and the mechanism would not turn. The details field lists the weight as 0.13 g, which is the figure printed on the page. It is the clearer rim replacement when the door is inside 38–57 mm and you leave enough tail to turn the latch.
Pros
Rim cylinder for a night latch, doors stated 38–57 mm
4.7 from 594 amazon.co.uk reviews
About £9.12
Key access from one side, as Yale describes it
Cons
Will not replace a euro cylinder
Title says four keys and many reviews say six arrived
Cutting the tail too short stops the latch turning
Listed weight of 0.13 g is the figure on the page
Best for: You are replacing the barrel in a Yale-style night latch and the door is between 38 mm and 57 mm thick.
Less suitable: A uPVC or composite multipoint door, or a tail you are about to cut without the old length to copy.
The XFORT HV-VH-54 is a 50/50T thumbturn, 100 mm overall, at about £13.99, with 4.6 from 5,574 amazon.co.uk reviews, the largest file in this set. Reviews say the turn goes on the inside, so a key left inside no longer blocks the outside key. It is a six-pin cylinder with three keys and one fixing screw. The listing says chrome, and reviewers say the thumbturn looks pale grey or enamelled rather than bright chrome. Many units are described as fine when new. One buyer replaced a 2020 unit in 2023 and says the second is failing, and another says the key and turn stuck after a month or two. Anti-bump, anti-pick and hardened pins are seller lines, not a TS 007 mark. It is the busy cheap thumbturn when both sides are 50 mm and the turn cannot be reached from outside.
Pros
4.6 from 5,574 amazon.co.uk reviews
50/50T thumbturn so a key left inside does not block the outside key
Six pins, three keys, one fixing screw
About £13.99
Cons
Anti-bump and anti-pick are not a TS 007 or Sold Secure line
Reviewers say the turn looks pale grey rather than bright chrome
A minority report sticking or failure within a year or two
Only suits a door that is 50 mm each side of the screw
Best for: Both sides are 50 mm, you want the inside to open without a key, and a hand cannot reach the turn.
Less suitable: A street door that needs a stated 3-star mark, or a door with glass or a letterbox that can reach the knob.
Reviews say the turn goes on the inside. The point they give is that a key left inside no longer blocks the outside key.
Is the finish described as chrome?
The listing says chrome. Reviewers say the thumbturn looks pale grey or enamelled rather than bright chrome.
How long did units last in the reviews?
Many are new and fine. One buyer replaced a 2020 unit in 2023 and says the second is failing. Another says the key and turn stuck after a month or two.
The XFORT HU-XI-201 is a chrome 50/50 euro double, 100 mm overall, at about £13.99, with 4.6 from 4,182 amazon.co.uk reviews. It is a six-pin brass cylinder with three keys and one fixing screw. Reviews say a wrong split does not match, and that a correct 50/50 often takes a few minutes once the cam is lined up. The bullets say anti-pick, anti-bump and anti-drill, and they do not state a TS 007 Kitemark or a Sold Secure grade. The details field also says control method App, while the title describes a mechanical key cylinder. It is the high-volume swap when both sides of the screw are 50 mm and you are replacing like for like. It is not the listing that states a 3-star mark for a street-door upgrade.
Pros
4.6 from 4,182 amazon.co.uk reviews
Stated 50/50 split, 100 mm, six pins
About £13.99 with three keys and a fixing screw
Reviewers with the right split often finish in a few minutes
Cons
Anti-pick, anti-bump and anti-drill are not a TS 007 or Sold Secure line
Only one fixing screw is listed
Details field says control method App on a mechanical cylinder
A wrong split does not fit
Best for: Both sides from the fixing screw are 50 mm and you want a like-for-like euro double with a large review file at about £13.99.
Less suitable: A street door where you need a stated TS 007 or Diamond cylinder, or a door that is not 50/50.
The Sterling listing is a 5-pin rim cylinder in brass and stainless steel at about £7.99, with 4.5 from 409 amazon.co.uk reviews. Reviews fit it to Yale-style night latches, not to a uPVC multipoint lock, so it will not replace a euro cylinder. The spec block does not state a door thickness. A reviewer says a 60 mm claim was corrected by customer services to 50 mm, and the screws were short on a 58 mm door. The saved listing links to amazon.co.uk/dp/B001CMWB8E and prints ASIN B0D3WXR8SN, so the two identifiers do not match. Reviews say three keys arrived, and the spec block does not number them. It is the cheapest night-latch pattern here only if you already know the thickness and you check which page you are buying.
Pros
5-pin rim cylinder for a night latch, not a euro slot
4.5 from 409 amazon.co.uk reviews
About £7.99, the lowest price in this set
Cons
The raw URL and the printed ASIN do not match
No door thickness in the spec block
A reviewer was told 50 mm after a 60 mm claim, with short screws on a 58 mm door
Will not fit a uPVC euro gearbox
Best for: You are replacing a Yale-style night-latch barrel, you know the door thickness, and you have checked the listing you opened is the one you meant.
Less suitable: A euro multipoint door, or any order placed before the ASIN on the page matches B0D3WXR8SN.
No. The title is a 5-pin rim cylinder. Reviews fit it to Yale-style night latches, not to a uPVC multipoint lock.
Why are there two identifiers?
The saved listing links to amazon.co.uk/dp/B001CMWB8E and prints ASIN B0D3WXR8SN. Both stay as printed. This comparison does not choose a third page.
What door thickness is stated?
The spec block does not state one. A reviewer says a 60 mm claim was corrected by customer services to 50 mm, and the screws were short on a 58 mm door.
The Valorada 35/35T is a silver thumbturn euro cylinder, 70 mm overall, at about £10.49, with 4.5 from 75 amazon.co.uk reviews. The turn is the internal side, so the inside does not need a key. The box lists five dimple keys, two screws and a metal box. One reviewer says further keys cannot be cut for this item. Many reviewers say it fitted and ran smoothly. One unit spun and would not lock, and another seized after a few days with a key stuck. Anti-pick and anti-bump appear in the highlight, not as a TS 007 or Sold Secure line. It is the cheap 35/35 thumbturn when the inside must open without a key and a hand cannot reach the turn.
Pros
35/35T thumbturn, 70 mm, turn on the inside
4.5 from 75 amazon.co.uk reviews
Five dimple keys and two screws
About £10.49
Cons
Anti-pick and anti-bump are not a TS 007 line
One unit spun and would not lock
Another seized after a few days with a key stuck
One reviewer could not get further keys cut
Best for: You have measured 35 mm each side, the inside must open without a key, and a hand cannot reach the turn.
Less suitable: You need extra keys cut later, a stated 3-star mark, or the door is not 35 mm each side of the screw.
The DIDA euro cylinder is a polished-nickel 40/40, 80 mm overall, at about £12.99, with 4.4 from 53 amazon.co.uk reviews. The bullets also write that length as 35:10:35, which spells out the cam rather than a different size. Three keys are listed. Two reviewers say the keys are large or have a triangular bow that is awkward on a ring, while others say the cylinder did the job once the size was checked. The title cites BS EN 1303:2005 and the bullets add anti-pick, anti-drill, anti-snap and anti-bump, without an eight-digit classification or a TS 007 star count. Fixing screws are not stated. It is a mid-price 40/40 when you have measured 40 mm each side and can live with bulky keys. It is not a tested anti-snap upgrade.
Pros
Stated 40/40, 80 mm, also written 35:10:35
4.4 from 53 amazon.co.uk reviews
Three keys listed
About £12.99
Cons
BS EN 1303:2005 is printed without a classification code
Anti-snap on the bullets is not a TS 007 or Sold Secure line
Two reviewers say the keys are bulky or awkward on a ring
Fixing screws are not stated
Best for: You have measured 40 mm each side of the screw and you want an 80 mm double at about £12.99.
Less suitable: You need a stated 3-star or Diamond cylinder, or you want slim keys on a ring.
No. The title names the standard and the year. It does not print the eight-digit classification or a TS 007 star count.
What do reviewers say about the keys?
Two reviewers say the keys are large or have a triangular bow that is awkward on a ring. Others say the cylinder did the job once the size was checked.
Is 35:10:35 a different size?
The bullets use 35:10:35 for this 80 mm 40/40 cylinder. Those notations describe the same overall length, with the cam written out.
The Federal Gabriel is a chrome 35T/35 thumbturn at about £37.99, with 4.4 from 36 amazon.co.uk reviews. The bullets say tested to TS007:2024, Sold Secure Diamond, and police approved, plus anti-snap, anti-pick, anti-drill and anti-bump. No licence number is in the file, and “police approved” is the listing’s phrase, not a promise that an insurer will pay a claim. FD30 and FD60 are printed on the listing, and this comparison did not see a certificate, so those fire lines stay unverified. The box lists five dimple keys, one screw and a key ID card. One buyer measured 72 mm overall against an expected 70 mm. One unit’s keys would not unlock, one buyer found it too stiff, and one objected that the key code is engraved on the key. It is the listing that states both TS007:2024 and Sold Secure Diamond, if you accept a small review file and the split is 35 mm.
Pros
States TS007:2024 and Sold Secure Diamond
Five dimple keys, one screw and a key ID card
35T/35 thumbturn at about £37.99
4.4 from 36 amazon.co.uk reviews
Cons
Only 36 reviews, and no licence number in the file
One buyer measured 72 mm against an expected 70 mm
One unit’s keys would not unlock, and one buyer found the turn too stiff
FD30 and FD60 are printed without a certificate in this file
Best for: You have measured a 35 mm thumbturn door and you want the listing that states both TS007:2024 and Sold Secure Diamond.
Less suitable: You need the listing to prove FD30 or FD60, painful hands need a lighter turn, or the split is not 35 mm.
The bullets say tested to TS007:2024, Sold Secure Diamond, and police approved, plus anti-snap, anti-pick, anti-drill and anti-bump. No licence number is in the file.
Is the fire rating verified here?
No. FD30 and FD60 are printed on the listing. This comparison did not see a certificate.
What went wrong in the reviews?
One buyer measured 72 mm overall against an expected 70 mm. One unit’s keys would not unlock. One buyer found it too stiff, and one objected that the key code is engraved on the key.
The Wavanta GWSX0006 is a key-both-sides euro cylinder listed as 30/35, 65 mm overall, at about £9.49. The pack states five keys and two fixing screws, 60 mm and 75 mm. The bullets tell you to measure from the centre of the fixing screw to each end, because 30 mm one side and 35 mm the other is not a symmetric 35/35 door. There is no customer-review line in the file, so this comparison has no buyer confirmation that the split arrived as titled. The saved listing has no TS 007, Sold Secure or BS EN 1303 line. The colour field is printed as “Sliver”. It is a stated size for a low-risk door you have already measured as 30/35, and it is the wrong order for a street door that needs a stated 3-star or Diamond mark.
Pros
Stated 30/35 split, 65 mm overall
Five keys in the pack
Two fixing screws, 60 mm and 75 mm
About £9.49
Cons
No amazon.co.uk review line in the file
No TS 007, Sold Secure or BS EN 1303 line
30/35 will not fit a door that is equal both sides
Colour field is printed as “Sliver”
Best for: You have measured 30 mm one side of the screw and 35 mm the other, on a low-risk door, and you want five keys at about £9.49.
Less suitable: A street-facing door that needs a stated 3-star or Diamond cylinder, or any door you have not measured.
The title states 30/35 and 65 mm overall. The bullets say to measure from the centre of the fixing screw to each end before ordering.
Does the listing include a thumbturn?
No. Both sides are operated with a key. The pack lists five keys and two fixing screws.
Is a security mark stated?
No. The saved listing has no TS 007, Sold Secure or BS EN 1303 line, and it has no customer-review line.
How we compared
Ten amazon.co.uk lock-cylinder listings were scored from the listing text and the review notes already on file. There is no laboratory test and no certificate was opened. Star ratings count only with the UK review file behind them: 4.8 from 40 reviews does not outrank 4.7 from 833, and a listing with no review line cannot score as if buyers had confirmed the fit. A stated split, or a stated door thickness on a rim cylinder, scores. Overall length alone does not. A stated TS 007 Kitemark or Sold Secure Diamond line scores above a seller line that only says anti-pick, anti-snap or BS EN 1303. Price is judged inside this set only. A rim cylinder is not the euro value pick, because it will not enter a uPVC gearbox. The highest score is the top pick. The best price for a complete euro double with a four-figure review file is the best value.
1
UK review evidence
30%
Amazon star rating, then a deduction when few UK reviews sit behind it. A listing with no review line cannot score as if buyers had confirmed the fit.
2
Stated split or thickness
20%
A stated split, or a stated door thickness on a rim cylinder, scores. Overall length alone, or a blank thickness, does not get that credit.
3
Security mark
25%
A stated TS 007 Kitemark or Sold Secure Diamond line scores above a seller line that only says anti-pick, anti-snap or BS EN 1303. A year with no classification code is not the grade.
4
Keys and fixing screw
10%
Numbered keys and a named fixing screw add a small amount. A components line that omits the keys does not.
5
Listing clashes
10%
Deductions cover an ASIN that does not match the linked page, a key count that clashes, a measured length that disagrees with the title, early seizure, and a details field that calls a mechanical cylinder an app.
6
Price in this set
5%
Price is judged inside this set only. A rim cylinder is not scored as the euro value pick, because it will not enter a uPVC gearbox.

Lock cylinder buying guide
Decide the profile first, then the split, then whether the door needs a stated security mark, then how far the cylinder will stand proud. A rim cylinder and a euro cylinder solve different locks. Eight of the ten amazon.co.uk listings here are euro cylinders and two are rim cylinders. Only the greenteQ Orion states a TS007 3-star Kitemark, and only the Federal Gabriel states TS007:2024 with Sold Secure Diamond. Both of those are 35 mm thumbturns.
What is a lock cylinder?
A lock cylinder is the part the key enters. The hooks and the gearbox stay in the door. On a UK uPVC or composite multipoint door the usual shape is a euro profile: an oval bar with a cam in the middle that throws the lock when you turn the key. A euro double uses a key on both sides. A euro thumbturn uses a key outside and a turn inside. A half cylinder is not in this set. A rim cylinder is a different part.
Best for
A measured euro door where you are replacing the barrel, not the whole lock
A night latch when you already know the door thickness
A street door that needs a listing which states TS 007 or Sold Secure Diamond
Not ideal for
A cupboard cam lock or a letterbox lock
A keyed-alike suite across several doors
A door you have only measured as one overall length
Mistakes to avoid
1
Ordering from the overall length
70 mm can be 35/35 or 30/40. The figure that has to match the door is each side of the fixing screw. A long cylinder that sticks out more than 3 mm is the wrong size even if the brand line looks stronger.
2
Putting a rim cylinder in a euro door
The Yale 1109 and the Sterling 5-pin replace night-latch barrels. They will not enter a uPVC multipoint gearbox. The other way round fails too: a euro bar does not replace a rim cylinder.
3
Reading anti-snap as a Kitemark
Anti-pick, anti-snap, anti-drill and a bare BS EN 1303 year are seller lines unless the listing states TS 007 or Sold Secure. In this set that stated mark is the greenteQ Kitemark line and the Federal Diamond line. Neither line forces an insurer to pay a claim.
What to weigh up
Profile and split
High
The first fork is the lock you already have. A euro double or euro thumbturn replaces the barrel in a multipoint gearbox. A rim cylinder replaces a surface night latch and is sized by door thickness. Yale states 38–57 mm. Sterling leaves thickness blank, and its raw URL does not match the printed ASIN. A rim cylinder will not go into a uPVC gearbox, so the cheaper rim price is not a euro bargain.
The second fork is the split.
Security mark and fit
High
For a street-facing euro door, West Yorkshire Police and the Master Locksmiths Association point to a TS 007 solution that totals three stars, or to Sold Secure SS312 Diamond. Three stars can sit on the cylinder, or as one star on the cylinder plus two stars on the handle. Sold Secure calls Diamond equivalent to a TS 007 3-star cylinder, but the certificates are separate.
Which option suits you?
Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.
🚪
Street door, 35 mm each side
You have measured 35 mm each side of the fixing screw on an external euro door, and the turn can sit inside where glass and the letterbox cannot reach it. The greenteQ Orion is the only listing here that states a TS007 3-star Kitemark, at about £32.06. The file has no certificate number, so check the mark on the cylinder you receive.
Both sides from the fixing screw are 50 mm and you are replacing a euro double on a low-risk door. The XFORT 50/50 is about £13.99 with 4.6 from 4,182 reviews. Anti-pick, anti-bump and anti-drill on the bullets are seller lines, not a TS 007 mark.
You are replacing the barrel in a Yale-style night latch, not a uPVC gearbox. The Yale 1109 states doors 38–57 mm thick, at about £9.12, with 4.7 from 594 reviews. Leave enough tail bar to turn the latch. A euro cylinder will not fit this lock.
The greenteQ Orion 35/35 thumbturn is the top pick in this set, at about £32.06, with 4.7 from 833 amazon.co.uk reviews. It is the only listing here that states a TS007 3-star Kitemark. It suits a door measured at 35 mm each side of the fixing screw, with the turn inside and out of reach from glass or a letterbox. The file has no certificate number, so check the mark on the cylinder you receive.
How much does a lock cylinder cost on amazon.co.uk?
In this set the shelf prices run from about £7.99 to about £37.99. The Sterling rim cylinder is about £7.99 and the Yale rim cylinder is about £9.12. Euro cylinders under about £15 include the Valorada 35/35 at about £10.49, the DIDA 40/40 at about £12.99 and the XFORT 50/50 at about £13.99. The greenteQ Orion is about £32.06 and the Federal Gabriel is about £37.99. Other 3-star cylinders in UK lock shops sat roughly from £18 to £70. That is context, not a row in this table.
How do you measure a euro lock cylinder?
Measure from the centre of the fixing screw to each face of the handle. Do not order from the overall length alone. 35/35 is 70 mm overall and 50/50 is 100 mm. Some sellers write the cam as an extra 10 mm, so 35/10/35 is the same 80 mm overall as 40/40. Confirm that overall length on the listing. A thumbturn is handed: the T side goes inside. A short cylinder that fits flush is more useful than a long one that sticks out.
Does anti-snap on a listing mean TS 007?
No. Anti-snap, anti-pick or BS EN 1303 on a bullet is not a TS 007 Kitemark and not Sold Secure Diamond. TS 007 is a 3-star cylinder, or a 1-star cylinder plus a 2-star handle. In this set only the greenteQ Orion states a TS007 3-star Kitemark, and only the Federal Gabriel states TS007:2024 with Sold Secure Diamond. The uPVC anti-snap guide sets out what those lines are worth. A listing line does not mean an insurer will pay a claim.
Will a rim cylinder fit a uPVC multipoint door?
No. A rim cylinder replaces the barrel in a surface night latch. It will not enter a uPVC or composite multipoint gearbox. In this set the Yale 1109 and the Sterling 5-pin are rim cylinders. Yale states doors 38–57 mm thick. Sterling does not state a thickness in the spec block, and the raw URL does not match the printed ASIN. Measure a euro door as a split from the fixing screw. Measure a night latch as door thickness.
Should the inside be a thumbturn or a key?
A thumbturn helps escape and stiff hands, and a key left inside no longer blocks the outside key. Do not fit one if glass or a letterbox can reach the turn. The DASH guide says an HMO bedroom exit must open without a key, and the turn must stay out of reach. Key both sides keeps the inside locked when that is what you want. On a size such as 35/35T, the T is the inside. Reversing it puts the turn on the street.
How far may a lock cylinder stick out?
West Yorkshire Police door advice, and the Master Locksmiths Association guideline from January 2025, say the outside cylinder must not stick out more than 3 mm beyond the door or the furniture. A cylinder that stands proud is easier to grip. Approved Document Q applies to new dwellings, not to every existing house. PAS 24 tests the whole doorset. The MLA text says it does not oblige an insurer to give cover. Read the policy before you treat a product line as insurance.
When should you call a locksmith instead of ordering a cylinder?
Call a locksmith if someone is locked in, the cam will not align, the hooks still do not throw, you need a keyed-alike Kitemarked suite, or you are specifying an HMO, a fire door, or a new-build doorset. Re-pinning a Kitemarked cylinder outside a registered locksmith can void the Kitemark. Five keys in the box are spares for that one cylinder, not a keyed-alike set across doors. A restricted DOM Diamant key is a different product, covered in the DOM lock cylinder comparison.
Our verdict
The greenteQ Orion 35/35 thumbturn is the top pick because it is the only listing in this set that states a TS007 3-star Kitemark, at about £32.06 with 4.7 from 833 amazon.co.uk reviews. It still needs a measured 35/35 door, a turn nobody can reach from outside, and a check of the mark on the cylinder, because the file has no certificate number. The XFORT 50/50 is the best value: about £13.99, 4.6 from 4,182 reviews, a stated 50/50 split and six pins. That is the lowest price here for a complete euro double with a four-figure review file. It is a like-for-like swap, not a stated 3-star upgrade. Rim cylinders stay out of that value slot, because they will not enter a uPVC gearbox.
