Condensate pump comparison 2026

The best condensate pumps, compared.

Top pick: Ejoyous 24 L/h Best value: BAOSHISHAN QS-360L – About £59.99 with 360 L/h, 6 m and 1.8 L printed, and only five reviews. Updated October 2026.

Peter F.
Peter F.Editor

A condensate pump lifts water when a condensing boiler, a split air conditioner, a dehumidifier or an ice maker cannot drain by gravity. At 5 m those bullets only promise 10 litres per hour, and UK reviews describe bare wires. Boiler condensate is warm and acidic, so the pump needs a stated pH and temperature, or the boiler maker’s approval, and gas-boiler work belongs with a Gas Safe registered engineer. How to read a bullet that disagrees with itself is in the [condensate pump buying guide](/hub/heating/condensate-pump/sub/condensate-pump-buying-guide). It does not make heat, and it is not the circulator on a radiator circuit. You use one when the drain sits higher than the appliance, or when the only fall would be a long external pipe that can freeze. Do not share one reservoir between a boiler and an air conditioner. The word boiler on a compatible-devices line is not approval. Acid, freeze risk and where gas work stops are on the [boiler condensate pump](/hub/heating/condensate-pump/sub/condensate-pump-boiler) page.

The best condensate pumps in detail

Ejoyous 24 L/h

Rank 1

Ejoyous 24 L/h

∼£36

Our view

Ejoyous lists 24 L/h, a tiny 0.07 L tank, 5 W draw, and 22 dB noise for dehumidifiers, ice makers, and wall splits. Two reviews at 5.0 stars is a perfect line with almost no depth; the lifting-height field prints 1E+1 metres while a bullet says 10 m recommended head, so the table is messy even when the intent is clear. The one detailed UK review powered bare wires with a fitted plug and joined control wires so the switch stayed on, lifting a basement dehumidifier a few metres to a water butt. That is a workable report for HVAC condensate, not permission to use the pump on a gas boiler, where pH and manufacturer approval matter. At £36.35 it is a small, light unit if you can terminate the flex safely.

Pros

  • 24 L/h, 5 W, 22 dB, and 0.07 L are printed
  • UK review reports a working dehumidifier lift
  • £36.35

Cons

  • Only 2 reviews
  • Bare wires in that review
  • Head field is printed as 1E+1 metres

Best for: A small dehumidifier or wall-split drain if you can terminate bare wires safely.

Less suitable: A gas boiler. No pH or boiler approval is printed.

Common questions

What lift should you trust on this listing?

The bullet says a 10 m recommended head. The lifting-height field prints 1E+1 metres, which is not a clean measurement.

How did the UK reviewer power it?

The review says it arrived with bare wires. The reviewer fitted a mains plug and joined the control wires so the switch stayed on.

What was it used on?

That review uses it on a basement dehumidifier, lifting water a few metres to a water butt.

YUKERMARB 24 L/h

Rank 2

YUKERMARB 24 L/h

∼£26

Our view

This YUKERMARB 24 L/h unit is the lowest price in the set at £25.84, with 10 m lift, 70 ml tank, 5 W, and 19 dB claimed. Two reviews at 5.0 stars rest on a single UK report about a portable air conditioner that stopped freezing and switching off once the drain pump ran. The same bullet prints 24 litres per hour and up to 80 gallons per hour, which cannot both be a single duty point, and the tank line writes 007L beside a 70 ml title. Included components say no. It can be a cheap trial on a small air conditioner if you accept the contradictory flow line and the two-review ceiling.

Pros

  • £25.84 is the lowest price in this set
  • 19 dB, 5 W, and 10 m are printed
  • UK review links it to a portable air conditioner

Cons

  • Only 2 reviews
  • Flow bullet contradicts itself
  • Included components say no

Best for: A low-cost trial on a small air conditioner if you treat the flow bullet as unresolved.

Less suitable: Any job that needs a single agreed flow figure before you buy.

Common questions

Which flow figure is on the listing?

The spec line says 24 litres per hour. The same bullet also says up to 80 gallons per hour. They conflict.

What is the only review about?

A UK buyer fitted it to a portable air conditioner and said the unit stopped freezing up and switching off.

Is the tank 70 ml or 0.07 L?

The title says 70 ml. The bullet writes 007L, which reads as 0.07 L if the zeros are a typing error. The listing does not explain it.

Grundfos Conlift1-LS

Rank 3

Grundfos Conlift1-LS

∼£71

Our view

The Grundfos Conlift1-LS listing at £71.28 carries 4.4 stars from 134 reviews on amazon.co.uk, yet the page leaves flow, head, voltage, and pH blank. Buyers who already know the Conlift1-LS datasheet order here for the brand name and the review line, not for numbers printed on the shelf. Written reviews in the saved listing are mostly from outside the United Kingdom; one clear UK text calls the hardware solid and mentions hose and wall fixings in the box. Several reviewers describe a boiler shut-off test when the safety path opens, which is the behaviour you want on gas work even though this page cannot fill in the amp rating from Amazon. Others call the unit loud while it is pumping, which matters if the pump sits in a living space. Package dimensions on the listing conflict with the item dimensions, so treat the spec table as incomplete until the carton arrives.

Pros

  • 134 reviews at 4.4 on the UK listing
  • Reviews describe a boiler shut-off test
  • Reviews mention hose and wall fixings in the box

Cons

  • Flow, head, and pH are not on the listing
  • Several reviews call it loud while pumping
  • Package dimensions conflict with the item dimensions

Best for: A buyer who already knows the Conlift1-LS sheet and is checking this listing’s price and review line.

Less suitable: A buyer who needs flow and head printed on the amazon.co.uk page before ordering.

Common questions

What flow rate does this amazon.co.uk listing print?

It does not. The listing asks the question and leaves flow, head, and voltage blank.

Does the listing say whether a plug is fitted?

No. A review says some Conlift versions have a plug and some do not, and that the listing does not make that clear.

Where were the written reviews from?

The sample in the saved listing is mostly outside the United Kingdom. One clear UK review calls the hardware solid.

Aspen FP3349 Max Hi-Flow

Rank 4

Aspen FP3349 Max Hi-Flow

∼£85

Our view

Across 90 amazon.co.uk reviews, the Aspen FP3349 Max Hi-Flow is bought for high-flow tank duty where the listing’s 550 L/h at zero head, 1.7 L tank, and 5 m head line up with the route. UK reviewers describe it shifting condensate from air-conditioning and refrigeration installs once the float starts the motor. The printed 3.0 A normally closed safety contact matters if you are wiring into a boiler circuit, though that work sits with a Gas Safe engineer, not a plug-in guess. Several UK texts say the flex arrives with bare wires and no 1 A fuse in the box, so you should budget for termination or an electrician before you assume a BS 1363 lead. At the stated 5 m head the bullets only promise 10 L/h, so a long vertical riser is a different job from the headline flow figure. Noise is not quoted on the listing, and a few owners mention a hum while the tank drains.

Pros

  • 550 L/h and a 1.7 L tank are both printed
  • 3.0 A normally closed switch is printed
  • 4.4 from 90 reviews on amazon.co.uk

Cons

  • UK reviews report bare wires
  • 1 A fuse is not included, in those reviews
  • No decibel figure on the listing

Best for: A high-flow tank pump where the listing’s 5 m head and 1.7 L tank match the route.

Less suitable: A reader who needs a moulded BS 1363 plug in the box. Reviews say the flex is bare.

Common questions

Does the listing include a mains plug?

UK reviews say the pump arrives with bare wires and that a 1 A supply fuse is not in the box. The listing’s included-components line says pump.

What flow does the listing print at 5 m?

The bullets print 550 L/h at zero head and 10 L/h at the 5 m recommended head.

Is a safety switch printed?

Yes. The bullets say a 3.0 A normally closed safety switch.

BAOSHISHAN QS-24L

Rank 5

BAOSHISHAN QS-24L

∼£50

Our view

The QS-24L mini targets small air-conditioning drains with 24 L/h into a 200 ml tank, a claimed overflow alarm, and a recommended lift at or under 8 m despite a 10 m headline. Five reviews at 4.3 stars look respectable until you see the count; motor watts are not printed, and the 7 kW horsepower field refers to the indoor unit limit, not the pump motor. One UK reviewer says that once the pump starts it never stops and that the float does not seem to work, which turns a quiet spec sheet into a continuous-run fault. Plastic construction and a 5 m hose are stated, and dehumidifiers appear on the compatible line. Treat it as a low-cost mini for a short lift, not as proof of boiler approval.

Pros

  • Alarm, 200 ml tank, and 5 m hose are on the highlight
  • Recommended lift is tightened to 8 m
  • Plastic body is stated

Cons

  • Only 5 reviews
  • One review reports continuous running
  • Motor watts are not printed

Best for: A small air-conditioning drain where 24 L/h and a lift under 8 m are enough.

Less suitable: A reader who needs a proven float. One of three texts says it never stops.

Common questions

Is the motor 7 kW?

No figure of merit supports that. The horsepower field says 7 kilowatts, and the bullets use 7 kW as the air-conditioner limit. Motor watts are not printed.

What did a UK reviewer say about the float?

One review says that once the pump starts it never stops, and that the float does not seem to work.

Is a dehumidifier listed?

Yes. The compatible-devices line includes dehumidifiers and ice makers.

AirTech-UK 554405

Rank 6

AirTech-UK 554405

∼£83

Our view

AirTech-UK’s 554405 is pitched at condensing boilers as well as refrigeration and dehumidifiers, with a 1.5 litre tank, 60 W motor, and a claimed safety switch with normally open and normally closed functions. Seventeen amazon.co.uk reviews at 4.2 stars give more UK signal than the five-review minis, including several buyers who swapped an older pump and got flow again. The flow curve is printed in US gallons per hour at 1, 5, and 9 ft, with shut-off at 15 ft, so you must translate feet and gallons before you compare it with a 550 L/h tank pump. Weight appears as both 1.7 kg and 1.9 kg on the same listing. One review describes intermittent pumping after two weeks, and another mentions a seven-year-old unit that stopped draining reliably, so the score is not a clean run of first-fit success.

Pros

  • Safety switch is named on the listing
  • 1.5 litre title and a check valve are printed
  • 17 amazon.co.uk reviews, several from the UK

Cons

  • Flow is in US gallons, not litres
  • Weight is 1.7 kg and 1.9 kg
  • One review describes intermittent pumping

Best for: A tank pump where the listing’s condensing-boiler line and 15 ft shut-off match the job.

Less suitable: A buyer who needs litres per hour at a stated metre head. The curve is in feet and US gallons.

Yes. The bullets say automatic start and stop, and a safety switch with normally open and normally closed functions.

What lift is printed?

The maximum lifting height field says 15 feet, and the bullets say shut-off at 15 ft.

What do the UK reviews say about reliability?

Several say it replaced an older pump and ran. One says it was intermittent after two weeks. One says a seven-year-old unit stopped pumping reliably.

BAOSHISHAN QS-360L

Rank 7

BAOSHISHAN QS-360L

∼£60

Our view

At £59.99 the BAOSHISHAN QS-360L is the value pick in this set on price and printed duty: 360 L/h, 6 m lift, 1.8 litre tank, 24 W motor, and a 5 m hose in the highlight. The spec line names air conditioners up to 30 kW and also dehumidifiers; that 30 kW figure is appliance size, not motor power. Only five amazon.co.uk reviews sit behind the 4.0 star line, which is thin evidence next to Aspen’s ninety. UK texts include a dehumidifier drain and an air-conditioning lift, but one buyer reports total failure inside a month with no pumping at all. No safety-switch current is printed, so boiler wiring needs a separate check against the manual and Gas Safe rules.

Pros

  • 360 L/h, 6 m, and 1800 ml are all printed
  • 5 m hose is in the highlight
  • £59.99 is below the £71–£85 listings

Cons

  • Only 5 reviews
  • One review reports total failure inside a month
  • No safety-switch current is printed

Best for: A mid-price tank where 6 m and 1.8 litres match the route, with the thin review count in view.

Less suitable: A gas boiler, unless that boiler’s instructions name this model. The spec line says air conditioner.

Common questions

What does the 30 kW horsepower field mean?

The bullets use 30 kW as the air-conditioner size. The motor line is 24 W and 500 mA. Do not read 30 kW as motor power.

Is a dehumidifier mentioned?

The bullets name dehumidifiers and ice makers. One UK review uses it on a dehumidifier.

Did every UK review succeed?

No. One of the five says it failed inside a month and would not pump. Others report an air-conditioner drain and a basement lift.

BAOSHISHAN QS-24B

Rank 8

BAOSHISHAN QS-24B

∼£46

Our view

The QS-24B split layout separates pump and tank and insists the assembly stays horizontal, with 24 L/h and 10 m printed on the page. The amazon.co.uk score is 2.9 from only three reviews, and the listing contradicts itself on tank volume, printing both 60 ml and 600 ml. One UK review reports a stuck float, a motor that ran dangerously hot, and wiring colours shown as red for live and green for neutral, which is not UK practice; that buyer did not fit it. Another reviewer was content with an air-conditioning install, but the evidence is too thin and too mixed to treat this as a default pick. Resolve the tank-size conflict and the flex colours before mains power, or leave it on the shelf.

Pros

  • Split layout is stated
  • 24 L/h and 10 m are printed
  • One review was content with an air-conditioner install

Cons

  • 2.9 from 3 reviews
  • Tank size contradicts itself
  • UK review reports heat and a stuck float

Best for: Only if you can resolve the tank-size conflict and the wiring colours before you connect mains.

Less suitable: A straightforward plug-in install. The UK wiring review advises against that.

What did UK reviewers say about safety?

One says the float stuck and the motor got dangerously hot. Another says the diagram uses red for live and green for neutral, and they did not fit it.

Must it sit a certain way?

The bullet says the device must be placed horizontally and must not be inverted.

Denash 100 L/h

Rank 9

Denash 100 L/h

∼£35

Our view

Denash prints 100 L/h into a 0.5 L tank with only 2 m lift, 5 W, 22 dB, and claimed high-water signal lines, all for dehumidifiers, air conditioners, and ice makers. There is no star line or review text in the raw extract, so every claim is listing-only. The catalogue item type oddly says sewage pumps while the title and rank sit in HVAC condensate; treat that label as noise, not a second spec. A 15 kW horsepower field is unexplained on the page. For a short run to a nearby drain the numbers can work; for a storey-height riser the 2 m head cap is the hard stop.

Pros

  • 100 L/h and a 0.5 L tank are printed together
  • 22 dB and 5 W are printed
  • High-water signal lines are mentioned

Cons

  • Lift is only 2 m
  • No reviews in the file
  • Item type says sewage pumps

Best for: A short lift, around 2 m, for an ice maker or dehumidifier.

Less suitable: A storey-height lift. The listing stops at 2 m.

YUKERMARB 100 L/h

Rank 10

YUKERMARB 100 L/h

∼£40

Our view

YUKERMARB’s 100 L/h pump with a 500 ml tank mirrors the Denash class: 2 m maximum lift, 5 W, 22 dB, and probe start according to the bullets. The title adds 100–230 V, which is wider than the fixed 230 V on several rivals, so check the label on delivery against your supply. Included components are printed as no, and there are no reviews in the file, so you are buying spec lines alone. Signal wires are mentioned without an amp rating. It suits a short dehumidifier or ice-maker route; it does not claim the 5 m or 10 m heads you see on boiler-oriented tank pumps.

Pros

  • 100 L/h and 500 ml are printed
  • Title states 100–230 V
  • Signal lines are described

Cons

  • Head is 2 m
  • Included components say no
  • No reviews

Best for: A short 2 m lift to an ice maker or dehumidifier drain.

Less suitable: A 10 m riser. This listing does not claim one.

Yosoo 24 L/h

Rank 11

Yosoo 24 L/h

∼£31

Our view

Yosoo Health Gear lists 24 L/h, 10 m lift, a 0.07 L tank, 5 W, and 22 dB for 1–3P wall splits up to 10 kW plus dehumidifiers, ice makers, and condensing stoves. Condensing stoves are named, but no pH or boiler-maker approval appears, so gas work still needs the boiler page and an engineer. Voltage is blank, included components say no, and there is no review line in the extract. At £30.73 it is among the cheapest 10 m claims in the set, which only matters if the figures are trustworthy once the box arrives.

Pros

  • 24 L/h, 10 m, 5 W, and 22 dB are printed together
  • Tank is stated as 0.07 L

Cons

  • No reviews
  • No voltage
  • Included components say no

Best for: A small wall-split drain if 0.07 L and 24 L/h match the indoor unit.

Less suitable: A boiler. Condensing stoves are named, but no pH is printed.

MAJONMMERD 24 L/h

Rank 12

MAJONMMERD 24 L/h

∼£30

Our view

MAJONMMERD prints 24 L/h, 10 m lift, a 70 ml tank, 5 W, 19 dB, and an automatic safety switch without a current rating. Boilers appear on the compatible-devices line alongside air conditioners, yet no pH or approval is printed. The voltage bullet reads as 100, 50, and 60Hz, which is not a clear UK mains figure, and included components say no. There are no reviews in the saved listing, and the listing shares an image file with another ASIN in this set. Treat it as unverified until you read the label on the unit you receive.

Pros

  • 24 L/h, 10 m, 70 ml, 5 W, and 19 dB are printed
  • A safety switch is named, without an amp rating

Cons

  • No reviews
  • Voltage sentence is garbled
  • Included components say no

Best for: Only after the voltage line is checked against the unit in your hand.

Less suitable: A gas boiler on the strength of the word boiler alone.

Common questions

What voltage does the listing state?

How we compared

Twelve amazon.co.uk listings are on this page. The score uses whether the duty matches the appliance, whether lift and flow are printed at a stated head, whether the tank bullet agrees with itself, whether the supply and any safety switch are stated, and the review count beside the stars. There is no laboratory test. A missing star line counts as no customer sample. Weights sum to 100. The top pick is the Aspen FP3349, which prints flow, tank, head and a 3.0 A switch and has 90 reviews. Best value is the BAOSHISHAN QS-360L: a lower price with litres and metres printed, and only five reviews.

1

Duty

25%

Name the appliance first. A gas boiler needs a pump the boiler maker accepts, fitted by a Gas Safe engineer. An air-conditioning mini is a different liquid. A compatible-devices line that only says boiler is not approval.

2

Lift and flow

Printed heads in this set run from 2 m to 10 m. Flow at that head is often missing. A 10 m slogan is not 10 m of pipe in every direction, because horizontal tube adds resistance.

3

Tanks run from 60 ml on one bullet to 1.8 litres. If the same listing prints two tank sizes or two flow figures, that cell is unknown. A blank flow line is not filled in from the star average.

UK mains are 230 V with a BS 1363 plug. Bare wires, or a diagram that shows red as live and green as neutral, are a fitting problem. A high-level switch only helps if it is wired, and only when a current is printed can you see what it can switch.

Stars are read with the count on that amazon.co.uk listing. A 5.0 from two reviews is a thinner sample than 4.4 from 90. A missing star line counts as no customer sample. Reviews marked outside the United Kingdom are not treated as UK installs.

Condensate pump buying guide

A condensate pump is for water that cannot fall to a drain. The decision is duty, then vertical lift, then whether the tank and the flow bullet agree. A star line under a handful of reviews is a weak sample. This is not a laboratory test, and the word boiler on a listing is not the boiler maker’s approval.

What is a condensate pump?

A condensate pump lifts water from a condensing boiler, a split air conditioner, a dehumidifier or an ice maker when that water cannot fall by gravity to a drain. It does not make heat, and it is not the circulator on a radiator circuit. You use one when the drain sits higher than the appliance, or when the only fall would be a long external pipe that can freeze. Gravity still comes first. A pump is the next step. Name the appliance before you compare prices.

Best for

  • A wall-split or dehumidifier where the printed lift matches the tube run
  • A high-flow HVAC tank where the Aspen figures match the route

Not ideal for

  • A gas boiler, unless that boiler’s instructions name the pump
  • A buyer who needs one agreed flow figure and a BS 1363 plug in the box

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

Treating the word boiler as approval

A compatible-devices line that says boiler is not the boiler maker’s approval. Boiler condensate is warm and acidic. Gas work belongs with a Gas Safe registered engineer, and the pump has to be one that boiler’s instructions name.

  2. 2

Adding horizontal pipe to the vertical head

A 10 m slogan is the vertical claim, not 10 m of pipe in every direction. Horizontal tube adds resistance. Flow at the head you actually need is often missing, and a zero-head litre figure is a different duty.

  3. 3

    Crowning two reviews

A 5.0 from two reviews is a thinner sample than 4.4 from 90. Four listings here have no star line. If the same bullet prints a second flow or a second tank size, do not keep the friendlier number.

What to weigh up

Duty, lift and tank

High

Duty comes first. A gas boiler needs a pump the boiler maker accepts. An air-conditioning or dehumidifier drain is a different liquid, and the two should not share a reservoir. The word boiler on a listing is not that approval. Printed heads here run from 2 m on the Denash and the YUKERMARB 100 litre per hour listings to 10 m on several minis. The Aspen listing prints 5 m and only 10 litres per hour at that head, against 550 litres per hour at zero head.

Supply, safety switch and reviews

High

UK mains are 230 V, and the plug, when there is one, should be BS 1363. Several reviews in this set describe bare wires, including the Aspen and the Ejoyous. A safety switch only helps if someone wires it. The Aspen listing prints a 3.0 A normally closed contact. The AirTech-UK listing claims normally open and normally closed functions. Several cheaper listings name an alarm or a high-water line and print no current.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

High-flow HVAC tank

You need a tank pump whose listing prints a high flow, a head and a safety-switch current. The Aspen FP3349 Max Hi-Flow is the top pick, with 550 litres per hour at zero head, a 1.7 litre tank and 4.4 from 90 reviews. At 5 m the bullets only promise 10 litres per hour, and UK reviews describe bare wires.

You already know the Conlift sheet

The Grundfos Conlift1-LS listing shows 4.4 from 134 reviews and leaves flow, head and pH blank. It suits a buyer who already has the manufacturer data and is checking this shelf price. It does not suit someone who needs those figures on the amazon.co.uk page. Gas-boiler fitting still belongs with a Gas Safe engineer.

Dehumidifier or wall-split

A dehumidifier or a small wall-split needs a short lift and a supply you can isolate. The Ejoyous listing prints 24 litres per hour, a 0.07 litre tank and 22 dB, and one UK review uses it on a basement dehumidifier. Only two reviews support the 5.0 line, and that review describes bare wires.

Common questions about condensate pumps

Which condensate pump is the top pick for 2026?
The top pick on this page is the Aspen FP3349 Max Hi-Flow at about £85.00. The amazon.co.uk listing prints 550 litres per hour at zero head, a 1.7 litre tank, a 5 m head and a 3.0 A normally closed safety switch, with 4.4 from 90 reviews. At 5 m those bullets only promise 10 litres per hour. UK reviews say the flex arrives with bare wires and no 1 A fuse. It is not a laboratory result.
How much does a condensate pump cost on amazon.co.uk?
Shelf prices in these listing files run from about £25.84 to £85.00. About £26 to £40 covers the 24 and 100 litre per hour pumps. Three BAOSHISHAN models sit about £46 to £60. The Grundfos Conlift1-LS is about £71.28, the AirTech-UK 554405 about £82.99, and the Aspen FP3349 about £85.00. These are the prices in the files, not a live basket. A lower price with five or fewer reviews is a thinner sample.
What should you check before you buy a condensate pump?
Name the appliance first. A gas boiler needs the boiler maker’s approval and a Gas Safe engineer. Then read vertical lift, and remember that horizontal pipe is extra resistance. Check tank size and flow at a stated head, not a zero-head slogan alone. UK mains are 230 V with a BS 1363 plug, so bare wires are a fitting job. Read the review count beside the stars, and treat two conflicting figures as unknown.
Can these pumps take gas-boiler condensate?
Only if that boiler’s instructions name the pump. Boiler condensate is warm and acidic, and a compatible-devices line that says boiler is not approval. HHIC describes an efficient condensing boiler as making around 2 litres an hour at around 30–40°C. That rate does not make a 24 litre per hour mini into a boiler pump. Gas work belongs with a Gas Safe registered engineer. The boiler itself is a separate comparison: gas heating.
What do the lift figures mean?
Printed heads in this set run from 2 m to 10 m. The Aspen listing prints 5 m, and only 10 litres per hour at that head. Several minis print 10 m with about 24 litres per hour. The Denash and the YUKERMARB 100 litre per hour listings stop at 2 m. A 10 m slogan is not 10 m of pipe in every direction. If flow at the head you need is missing, that cell stays unknown.
Why do some listings disagree with themselves?
Several pages print two figures for one duty. The YUKERMARB 24 litre model prints 24 litres per hour and 80 gallons per hour. The BAOSHISHAN QS-24B prints a 60 ml tank and a 600 ml tank. Ejoyous prints a head cell as 1E+1 metres beside a 10 m bullet. MAJONMMERD’s voltage line is not a clear mains figure. Denash’s item type says sewage pumps. Where the page disagrees, do not pick the friendlier number.
Who should connect the pump?
Isolate mains before you open a pump. Call a Gas Safe engineer for a gas-boiler connection. Call an electrician for a fused spur or for cable colours that are not UK practice, including a diagram that shows red as live and green as neutral. A high-level safety switch only helps if it is wired. If water comes through a ceiling, or the boiler locks out again after you empty the tank, get help rather than resetting it and walking away.
When is a five-star mini not the stronger pick?
A 5.0 from two reviews is a thinner sample than 4.4 from 90. The Ejoyous listing and one YUKERMARB listing show 5.0 from two reviews. The Aspen shows 4.4 from 90. Four listings in this set have no star line at all, so every claim on those pages is the listing text. Do not crown a perfect average that rests on two texts, and do not treat a missing star line as a hidden high score.

Our verdict

The top pick is the Aspen FP3349 Max Hi-Flow at about £85.00. The listing prints 550 litres per hour at zero head, a 1.7 litre tank, a 5 m head and a 3.0 A normally closed switch, with 4.4 from 90 reviews. At 5 m the bullets only promise 10 litres per hour, and UK reviews describe bare wires. Best value is the BAOSHISHAN QS-360L at about £59.99, with 360 litres per hour, 6 m and 1.8 litres printed, against only five reviews and one reported failure inside a month. Skip the Aspen if you need a moulded BS 1363 plug in the box. Skip the QS-360L for a gas boiler unless that boiler’s instructions name it.
