The best Güde chainsaws, compared.
Top pick: Sukumo A001 Best value: Supstable 10C6M – About £39.98, two 2.0 Ah packs, 4.4 from 5,321 reviews. The bar is 6 inch and the oil bottle is empty. Updated October 2026.
A Güde chainsaw, for a UK shopper, means the KS petrol series or the 36 V KS 36-0, not a 6 inch mini saw that appears beside the brand name. The ten rows below are other brands that were in stock: one 20 inch petrol saw and nine cordless saws, mostly 6 to 8 inch pruning tools. The [Güde chainsaw buying guide](/hub/forestry-tools/guede-chainsaw/sub/guede-chainsaw-buying-guide) covers the KS article numbers, bar length for logs already on the ground, and a chain that matches pitch, gauge and drive links. Quality here means a matching chain, a brake you can test, the 1:40 petrol mix, and HSE clothing if the work is paid or in a tree.

Question 1 of 2
What are you cutting?
The Sukumo A001 is £59.99. The title says a 12 inch chainsaw, and the included-components attribute says cordless pole pruning shears, so the box is not settled from this file. A bullet claims 3,900 W, which appears only there. Two 5.0 Ah packs are claimed, and another bullet leaves the battery count unclear. Chain speed is 15 m/s in the title and 26.25 ft/s in a bullet, and item weight is 5.1 kg. The star line is 5.0 from 4 reviews, which is too small to treat as settled, and a review says lubricant is not included. A baffle is claimed, and a chain brake is not named. The warranty field says 2 years, as printed, and the brand is Sukumo.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You are comparing the title with the included line before you treat this as a 12 inch chainsaw.
Less suitable: You want a settled box list, or a star rating based on more than four reviews.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. The brand is Sukumo.
What does the included-components line say?
It says cordless pole pruning shears. The title and the bullets describe a 12 inch chainsaw. Both lines are in the saved listing, so the box contents are not settled here.
Is 5.0 from 4 reviews a strong rating?
No. The saved listing has four reviews. A 5.0 on that sample is not a settled score.
The Seesii CH700R is £49.99 for a 6 inch saw with two 4.0 Ah packs. The attribute table says 900 W and a bullet says 1,000 W. Chain speed is printed as 23 ft/s. Item weight is 3.7 kg against a bullet of 1.4 kg. The star line is 4.5 from 9,284 reviews, and the same opening reviews appear on the 8 inch CH850 file, so that count is one sample, and oil is not included. A review in the raw notes says the gloves are ordinary gardening gloves. A safety lock is named, and a chain brake is not. The warranty field says 2 years, as printed, and the brand is Seesii.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want a 6 inch Seesii with two larger packs and you treat the shared review block as one sample.
Less suitable: You want an 8 inch bar in the same box, or a review count that belongs only to this ASIN.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. The brand is Seesii and the model is CH700R.
Why is the review count the same as the 8 inch Seesii?
This saved listing and B0DJ8Z6SX6 both show 4.5 from 9,284 and the same opening reviews. Treat that as one listing sample, not two.
Is oil included?
No. The included line has an empty oil bottle. A review also says the gloves are ordinary gardening gloves.
The Seesii CH850 is £69.98 for an 8 inch saw with two 4.0 Ah packs. Bullets and the spec field both say 900 W, and chain speed is printed as 19.2 ft/s. Item weight is 2.3 kg against a bullet of 3.8 lb. The star line is 4.5 from 9,284, the same count and the same opening reviews as the 6 inch CH700R, so the score sits below that file. A safety control is not named. The included line has a second chain, gloves, goggles and an empty oil bottle. Chain oil is not included. The brand is Seesii, and the bar in this file is 8 inch only.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want the 8 inch Seesii and you already know the star line is shared with the CH700R.
Less suitable: You want a separate UK review sample, or a 6 inch bar in the same box.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. The brand is Seesii and the model is CH850.
Is the 9,284 review count separate from the 6 inch Seesii?
No. The saved listing repeats the same count and the same opening reviews as B0DJ8ZC2CC.
What is in the box?
An 8 inch saw, two 4,000 mAh batteries, a charger, a second chain, gloves, goggles and an empty oil bottle. Chain oil is not included.
The Supstable 10C6M is a 6 inch cordless saw at £39.98, with two 2.0 Ah packs and a charger the bullets call a UK plug. The listing is 4.4 from 5,321 reviews, and the rank line is 1 in Chain Saws. Bullets say a brushed 900 W motor while the attribute table says 1,000 W, and chain speed is printed as 10 m/s. Item weight is 2.4 kg against a bullet figure of 1.36 kg. The oiler is manual and the bottle is empty. A safety lock is named, and a chain brake is not. The included line says two chains and the bullets say three. It is the best-value row here on price against that review sample, and the brand is Supstable.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want the lowest large-sample price in this set for a 6 inch pruning kit, and you will add chain oil.
Less suitable: You need a petrol bar for stove-length rounds, or a listing whose watt and weight lines agree.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. The brand is Supstable. It is a 6 inch cordless pruning saw.
Is chain oil in the box?
No. The listing includes an empty bottle and a manual oiler. You add oil before cutting.
Does the charger have a UK plug?
The bullets say a UK-plug fast charger. The watt line disagrees with itself: 900 W in the bullets and 1,000 W in the attribute table.
The SINPY MNCS-118 is £39.99 for a 6 inch cordless saw. The title claims two batteries, two chains and a safety lock, and the bullets claim an 880 W motor, two 2.0 Ah packs and an automatic oiler. The included-components attribute is empty, so the box list comes from the title, the bullets and the reviews. Item weight is printed as 500 g, which is not reconciled with a 6 inch saw. The listing is 4.4 from 1,834 reviews, and the rank line is 2 in Chain Saws. A UK review says the included gloves are not usable as chainsaw gloves. Oil is not included. The brand is SINPY.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want a cheap 6 inch SINPY kit and you will check the box against the title, because the included line is blank.
Less suitable: You want a stated chain brake, or a weight figure you can trust.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. The brand is SINPY.
Why is the weight 500 g?
That is the item weight printed in the saved listing. It is not reconciled with a 6 inch saw. It is shown as printed, not corrected.
Are the gloves chainsaw gloves?
A UK review says the included gloves are not usable as chainsaw gloves. The title names a safety lock, not a chain brake.
The Seesii M8 Boost is £59.99, with an 8 inch bar fitted and a separate 6 inch bar and chain. It lists two 4.0 Ah packs, a 1,000 W motor with a brushless claim, and a tool-free tension knob. Item weight is 1.76 kg in both the bullets and the spec field, which is the only weight pair in this set that agrees, and chain speed is printed as 34.5 ft/s. The listing is 4.4 from 1,695 reviews, and those reviews do not open like the other two Seesii files, and oil is not included. A safety button is named, and a chain brake is not. A bullet claims Makita 18 V battery fit and says not to mix chargers. That fit was not checked on a pack. The warranty field says 3 years, as printed.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want one cordless kit that can swap an 8 inch bar and a 6 inch bar for garden wood.
Less suitable: You want a petrol saw for a long log pile, or a checked chain brake.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. It is a Seesii mini saw. A bullet claims Makita 18 V battery fit and says not to mix chargers. That claim was not checked on a pack.
Which bar is fitted?
The included line says the 8 inch bar and chain are installed, with a separate 6 inch bar and chain.
Does it name a chain brake?
It names a safety button, a trigger and an anti-kickback baffle. It does not name a chain brake.
The Angseen SY-LT05 is the lowest price in this set, at £35.14. It is a 6 inch saw with one 2.0 Ah pack, and a bullet says further packs are sold separately. Three chains are claimed, with an 850 W motor and a safety lock. Chain speed is printed as 28.5 ft/s, and item weight is 1.82 kg. The listing is 4.4 from 62 reviews. One UK review says the box arrived open, the battery was scuffed and the saw would not run. That is one report in a sample of 62 ratings. The oil bottle is empty, and the brand is Angseen.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want the cheapest 6 inch kit here and you can return it if the single pack arrives faulty.
Less suitable: You want two batteries in the box, or a review sample in the thousands.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. The brand is Angseen and the manufacturer line is Nantong Senye Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd.
How many batteries are in the box?
One 2,000 mAh pack. A bullet says further packs are sold separately.
Were there complaints about condition on arrival?
One UK review says the box was already open, the battery was scuffed and the saw would not run. That is one report in a sample of 62 ratings.
The Hyundai HYC6200X is a 62 cc petrol saw with a 20 inch (50 cm) bar, listed at £109.89 on amazon.co.uk. The star line is 4.2 from 1,335 reviews, and the rank line in the saved listing is 4 in Chain Saws. The included line names the saw, two chains, a fuel-mix bottle, a bar cover, a bag, a manual and a tool kit. Chain oil is not on that list, so the first cut still needs bar oil from elsewhere. Item weight is printed as 7 kg, and tension is a side adjuster. A safety control is not named in the comparison fields. It is the highest score in this set because it is the only 20 inch petrol saw with a large review sample. The brand is Hyundai, so it is not a Güde KS saw.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want a 20 inch petrol saw that is in stock on amazon.co.uk for logs already on the ground.
Less suitable: You want a genuine Güde article number, or a short saw for light pruning.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. The brand field is Hyundai and the model is HYC6200X. It is in this set because the saved listing was a chainsaw, not because it is a Güde KS saw.
What bar length is listed?
The title and the chain-length line both say 20 inches, which the bullets also call 50 cm.
Does the box include chain oil?
The included line names a fuel mix bottle, two chains and a tool kit. It does not name chain oil.
The NovorikX XLCS3A40-UK is £89.98 for a 20 V saw with a 25 cm bar, one 4.0 Ah pack and a charger described as a UK charger. A bullet says 530 W, and the attribute table says 2.3 hp, which is a different claim. Chain speed is printed as 4.9 m/s in a highlight and 5 m/s in the attribute. The oiler is described as automatic, with a 130 ml tank claimed, and tension is described as tool-free. An electronic and a mechanical brake are claimed, including a 0.1 second stop that was not tested here, and item weight is 2.62 kg. The listing is 3.8 from 86 reviews. Some later bullets describe a chain for a Proyama 58 cc saw and do not match this title. Warranty text says 3 years on the machine and 1 year on the battery, as printed, and the brand is NovorikX.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want a 25 cm cordless bar with a stated UK charger and you will ignore the Proyama chain bullets.
Less suitable: You want two batteries, a large review sample, or a power figure that appears only once.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. The brand is NovorikX. Some later bullets describe a chain for a Proyama 58 cc saw and do not match this title.
How many batteries are included?
One 4.0 Ah 20 V pack and a charger described as a UK charger.
What chain speed is listed?
The highlight says 4.9 m/s and the attribute says 5 m/s. A bullet claims the brake stops the chain within 0.1 seconds. That was not tested here.
The GEARPASS SS-AAMAAT00747-N is £85.99 for a 16 inch cordless kit. The attribute says 1,980 W and the title says 2 kW. Two 4.5 Ah packs, a dual charger and two spare chains are claimed, with an automatic oiler and an empty bottle, and item weight is 5.81 kg. The listing is 3.3 from 11 reviews. More than one UK review says the chain brake is the wrong way round and does not work as a brake, and one says the saw was returned as unsafe. A bullet says 4,500 rpm no-load and a highlight says 0–8,500 rpm. The warranty field says 1 year, as printed. The score is the lowest in this set because of that brake complaint on a small sample, and the brand is GEARPASS.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You are reading the brake reviews before you consider a 16 inch cordless bar at this price.
Less suitable: You want a brake that UK reviewers describe as working, or a larger review sample.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a Güde chainsaw?
No. The brand is GEARPASS.
What do UK reviews say about the chain brake?
More than one review says the brake is the wrong way round and does not work as a brake. One says the saw was returned as unsafe. The sample is 11 ratings.
Do the speed figures agree?
No. A bullet says 4,500 rpm no-load and the highlight line says 0–8,500 rpm. Both are printed in the saved listing.
Scores use the amazon.co.uk star line (40), the review sample (20), job fit (25) and shelf price in GBP (15). A 5.0 from four reviews does not keep the full star points. A review block copied between two ASINs counts as one sample, so the second file does not get a second full band. Points come off when UK reviews say the chain brake does not work as a brake, when the included line describes a different tool, or when power, weight or chain count disagree inside one listing. This is not a laboratory test. None of the ten rows is a Güde KS saw. A missing Güde price is not scored, because those listings are not rows.
Amazon stars
40%The star line on amazon.co.uk, scaled out of 40. A 4.5 line scores higher than a 4.2 line before the other bands. A 5.0 from four reviews does not keep the full star points.
Review sample
20%Thousands of reviews score at the top of the band. Under 100 scores low. Under 15 scores near the floor. A review block copied between two ASINs is one sample.
Job fit
25%A petrol bar long enough for logs already on the ground scores higher than a 6 inch pruning saw. Points come off for a brake UK reviews contradict, an included line that describes a different tool, or power, weight or chain counts that disagree.
Price
15%Shelf price in GBP against bar and battery. About £40 with two batteries and a large sample scores at the top of the band. About £85–£110 scores lower. A missing Güde price is not scored.
Match the saw to the job before the brand on the box. A short cordless bar can prune from the ground. Firewood already down needs a bar that fits the log, which on Güde’s pages points at a petrol KS rather than the 6 m/s KS 36-0. None of the ten rows is that KS saw. The Hyundai HYC6200X is the only 20 inch petrol saw in this set. The Supstable 10C6M is the lowest large-sample price with two batteries.
A Güde chainsaw on the manufacturer’s pages is a petrol KS saw or the 36 V KS 36-0. The petrol steps are the KS 400-38 (38 cm³, 360 mm cut, 1.4 kW), the KS 450-55 (about 55 cm³, 2.3 kW, 420 mm cut, Oregon 3/8 inch, 61 links) and the KS 500-62 (62 cm³, 2.85 kW, 480 mm cut, 0.325 inch, 1.5 mm, 78 links). Article 95044 is the KS 450-55. The KS 36-0 is a brushless 36 V saw that uses two 18 V packs, sold without a battery or charger, listed at a 320 mm cut and 6 m/s with an electronic brake.
Pitch, gauge and drive-link count have to match the bar. The KS 450-55 chain is not the KS 500-62 chain. An inch figure on a mini-saw title does not identify a Güde Oregon chain.
Hyundai, Supstable, Seesii, SINPY, Angseen, GEARPASS, NovorikX and Sukumo are not article 95044. A 6 inch pruning saw is not the KS 450-55, and a thick cut in a review does not make it a felling saw.
Petrol KS manuals state 1:40 in the fuel tank and a separate chain-oil tank. A 2 percent ready-mix is 1:50, not 1:40. Chain oil does not go in the petrol.
Güde article 95044 is the KS 450-55. A listing from Hyundai, Seesii, Supstable, SINPY, Angseen, GEARPASS, NovorikX or Sukumo is not that saw. Pruning from the ground can be a short cordless bar. Firewood already on the ground needs a bar that matches the log. The KS 36-0 is listed at a 320 mm cut and 6 m/s. The petrol pages state 22 m/s. The KS 400-38 is listed at a 360 mm cut, the KS 450-55 at 420 mm and the KS 500-62 at 480 mm. Pitch, gauge and drive-link count must match.
Petrol KS manuals state 1:40 in the fuel tank and a separate chain-oil tank. A 2 percent ready-mix is 1:50, not 1:40. Do not invent a Güde price while amazon.co.uk shows no featured offer. On 21 October 2026 the KS 400-38, KS 450-55, KS 500-62 and KS 36-0 had no featured offer. In this capture the only 20 inch petrol saw was the Hyundai HYC6200X at £109.89. Mini saws around £35–£70 are pruning tools. Prefer a saw whose brake is not contradicted by UK reviews.
Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.
You are cutting small branches from the ground and you can still wear real protective clothing. A short cordless bar fits that job. The Supstable 10C6M is the best value here at about £39.98, with two 2.0 Ah packs and 4.4 from 5,321 reviews. The oil bottle is empty, and the brand is Supstable, not Güde.
You need bar length and runtime for wood that is already down. On Güde’s pages that points at a petrol KS rather than the 6 m/s KS 36-0. Those KS listings had no featured offer. The Hyundai HYC6200X is the only 20 inch petrol saw in this set, at about £109.89, with 4.2 from 1,335 reviews. It is not a Güde.
You are paid to use a chainsaw, or the work is on or in a tree. HSE competence and clothing come before the brand. At work, PUWER regulation 9 requires adequate training. A private garden is not that employer duty. If the job is later ground-level firewood, the only 20 inch petrol saw in stock here is the Hyundai HYC6200X. Do not treat a 6 inch row as that saw.
None of the ten amazon.co.uk rows is a Güde chainsaw, and the KS 400-38, KS 450-55, KS 500-62 and KS 36-0 had no featured offer on 21 October 2026, so this page states no Güde price. The top pick for logs already on the ground is the Hyundai HYC6200X at about £109.89, 62 cc, 20 inch bar, 4.2 from 1,335 reviews. The best value for a 6 inch pruning kit with two batteries is the Supstable 10C6M at about £39.98, 4.4 from 5,321 reviews. A matching chain, a brake UK reviews do not contradict, and a 1:40 mix on a petrol KS still decide the cut.
Supstable 10C6M
About £39.98, two 2.0 Ah packs, 4.4 from 5,321 reviews. The bar is 6 inch and the oil bottle is empty.
