Top pick: Onlyfire F-BRK6055-SS1 Best value: Trendi bbq-195 – Best value as the lowest price with a review count above one, about £21.72 at 4.0 from 43 reviews. It does not outscore the kettle ring. Updated 21.10.2026.

Peter F.Editor

A BBQ pizza oven attachment borrows heat from a barbecue you already own. A grate hood, a kettle riser, a side-burner box and a pellet insert are different tools. Fit comes first: a 57 cm kettle, a gas or charcoal grate, a side burner, or a pellet grill whose depth sits inside 15.5–19.8 inches. A workable kit has a stated fit, a stone and preferably a peel, plus a thermometer you can cross-check. An attachment does not make charcoal or gas safe indoors. The order of checks is in the [BBQ pizza oven attachment buying guide](/hub/grill-accessories/bbq-pizza-oven-attachment/sub/bbq-pizza-oven-attachment-buying-guide). A gas or charcoal grate takes a hood if the footprint fits. What is in the box is the second check. Trendi and list the stone and do not list a peel. The kettle rings, George Foreman, Gardenwize and the side-burner kit include a paddle or a shovel.

The best BBQ pizza oven attachments in detail

Onlyfire F-BRK6055-SS1

Rank 1

Onlyfire F-BRK6055-SS1

∼£140

Our view

The Onlyfire F-BRK6055-SS1 is listed at £139.99 as a rotisserie and pizza ring for a 55–57 cm charcoal kettle, not a Weber Smokey Mountain. The box includes a 15 inch cordierite stone, a peel, a thermometer, and an electric spit. Weight is 8.3 kg. Outer dimensions are not in the saved listing. It shows 4.6 from 1,844 reviews. In the first 50 UK reviews the spit is praised more often than the pizza mode, and pizza cooks that are described use lumpwood and hardwood. The same reviews include a melted Weber vent handle, a sharp edge that cut a user, rust on some parts, and a stone that arrived broken. The motor is 220 V in the bullet and 110 V in the table.

Pros

  • Pizza ring and spit in one kit
  • 4.6 from 1,844 reviews
  • 15 inch cordierite stone and peel
  • Fits the same 57 cm kettle family as the cheaper ring

Cons

  • Voltage lines conflict
  • Many reviews are about the spit, not pizza
  • Sharp edge, rust, and a melted lid handle in UK reviews
  • Assembly required; instructions called poor
  • £139.99

Best for: You want a spit on a 55–57 cm charcoal kettle and will read the motor plate before you plug it in.

Less suitable: You only want pizza and can use the BRK-6023 ring, or you cannot confirm 230 V on the motor.

Common questions

Will the listing fit a gas grill?

The compatibility bullet is for 55–57 cm charcoal kettles, including Weber, and it excludes the Weber Smokey Mountain. Gas is not stated. The saved listing asks about a gas grill and does not answer yes.

What voltage is the motor?

The bullet says a 220 V electric motor. The specification table says 110 volts, 4 watts, and 0.22 kilowatts. Those lines conflict, so the plate on the motor is the check before a UK socket.

What is in the pizza side of the kit?

A 15 inch round cordierite stone, a pizza peel, a thermometer, the ring, and four support chips, plus the rotisserie parts. Preheat for pizza is given as 10–20 minutes. Assembly is required.

Onlyfire BRK-6023

Rank 2

Onlyfire BRK-6023

∼£79

Our view

The Onlyfire BRK-6023 is listed at £78.98 for a 57 cm kettle ring with a 38 cm stone, an aluminium peel, and a thermometer. The fuel field says wood, while the bullets name charcoal kettles such as Weber, Napoleon, and Outdoorchef, and exclude the Weber Smokey Mountain. It shows 4.5 from 1,119 amazon.co.uk reviews. In the first 50 UK reviews, pizzas of a few minutes are common once charcoal and hardwood are hot, and melted plastic lid handles are the repeated damage report. The listing itself says to keep the handle out of the exhaust.

Pros

  • 57 cm kettle fit stated, with brands named
  • Stone, peel, and thermometer in the box
  • 4.5 from 1,119 reviews
  • Seller cook time 3–5 minutes, often echoed after a learning cook

Cons

  • Weber lid handles melt in the exhaust in multiple UK reviews
  • Fuel field says wood, bullets describe a charcoal kettle
  • Some clips and edges criticised
  • Kettle not included

Best for: You already own a 57 cm charcoal kettle and will keep the plastic lid handle out of the opening.

Less suitable: Your barbecue is a gas grate, a side burner, a pellet grill, or a Weber Smokey Mountain.

Common questions

Which grills does the listing say it fits?

A 57 cm kettle, with Weber, Napoleon, and Outdoorchef named. The same bullet says it does not fit a Weber Smokey Mountain. The kettle is not included.

Does it include a pizza stone?

Yes. The listing says a 38 cm stone that is 1 cm thick. The highlight line also says a 15 inch stone, plus an aluminium peel and a thermometer.

What does the listing say about the lid handle?

Position the ring or the lid so the handle stays clear of the heat exhaust path. UK reviews in the saved listing describe melted Weber vent handles when that was ignored.

George Foreman GFPO1SSPC

Rank 3

George Foreman GFPO1SSPC

∼£60

Our view

The George Foreman GFPO1SSPC is listed at £59.99 for a 12 inch grill-top oven, 34.5 x 39.8 x 13 cm and 5.2 kg, with a ceramic stone, a folding paddle, an enamelled base, and a one-year guarantee. It is marked outdoor, for charcoal or gas, with no assembly. It shows 4.2 from 53 reviews. UK reviews split between pizzas in about five minutes on gas, with semolina on the peel, and gauges that would not leave about 150°C. One stone arrived broken. The cooking-method field says Steakhouse, which does not describe the product.

Pros

  • Named brand, paddle, and ceramic stone
  • Stated 12 inch pizza and centimetre size
  • No assembly
  • Some gas-barbecue cooks in about five minutes

Cons

  • Repeated reports that the gauge stays near 150
  • Covers most of the grate
  • One pizza at a time
  • Broken stone in one review

Best for: You have a large gas barbecue and will check the stone with a second thermometer before you launch the dough.

Less suitable: You need a kettle ring, or you want to grill and bake pizza on the same grate at once.

Common questions

What is included?

The listing includes the GFPO1SSPC, a ceramic pizza stone, a foldable pizza paddle, and a user manual. Assembly required is No. The guarantee is one year.

Will it share the grate with other food?

UK reviews say it covers most of the barbecue surface, so pizza and a normal grill cook do not run together. The cooking surface is listed as 616 square centimetres.

Do reviewers say the thermostat reaches pizza heat?

Several UK reviews say the gauge stayed around 150, including on a four-burner gas barbecue left on full for about an hour. Other reviews report a pizza in a few minutes once the oven was hot.

COMVIEE pellet insert

Rank 4

COMVIEE pellet insert

∼£282

Our view

The COMVIEE insert is listed at £282.49 for pellet grills, 53.3 x 45.7 x 25.4 cm and 11.3 kg, with a 13 inch square stone and adjustable plates for depths from 15.5 to 19.8 inches. The seller says the funnel can reach 800°F in 2–4 minutes. A peel is not listed. The warranty is one year. It shows 4.1 from 7 reviews. The saved listing’s review text is from the United States: a fit miss, an easy screw-together install on a Camp Chef Woodwind 24 with a laser reading around 700 degrees, and a claim of almost 1,000 degrees. Those paragraphs are not UK reviews.

Pros

  • Named pellet-grill brands and a depth window
  • 13 inch square stone
  • 1 year warranty
  • Heat-plate claim under the stone

Cons

  • £282.49, near dedicated-oven money
  • No peel listed
  • Only seven ratings
  • Written reviews in the file are US reviews, including a fit miss

Best for: You own a pellet grill inside 15.5–19.8 inches deep and you measure before you order.

Less suitable: You own a kettle or a gas grate, or you wanted UK review text for this ASIN.

Rank 5

Trendi bbq-195

∼£22

Material is given as cordierite, stoneware, or ceramic, and care is hand wash. It shows 4.0 from 43 reviews. UK reviews include cooks in a few minutes on a large barbecue and also burnt bases, raw tops, stuck dough, and a cracked stone with no return response. A peel is not in the included-components line.

  • £21.72 with 43 reviews
  • Gauge and stone included
  • Claimed for gas, charcoal, and electric grills
  • Several reviews report a few-minute cook once hot

  • No peel listed
  • Size has no unit
  • Burnt base and raw top in UK reviews
  • Cracked stone and a failed return in one review
  • Warranty line is a dash

Best for: You want a low-priced hood for a large gas, charcoal, or electric barbecue and you already own a peel.

Less suitable: You need a stated grate size, a peel in the box, or a 57 cm kettle ring.

Is a peel included?

The included-components line lists the pizza stone only. Carry handles are described on the oven. A peel is not listed.

How should the stone be washed?

The care line says hand wash. The listing does not say the stone is dishwasher safe. One UK review says to soak and oil the stone.

Gardenwize MPPO-SS

Rank 6

Gardenwize MPPO-SS

∼£40

Our view

The Gardenwize MPPO-SS is listed at £39.99 as a stainless grill-top oven, 37.7 x 30.5 x 14 cm and 3.5 kg, with a cordierite stone, a steel shovel, two handles, and a temperature gauge. Capacity is 16 litres. A pizza diameter is not stated. It shows 4.0 from 1 review. That UK review says it cooks good pizzas and that the gauge is useful, and that soft dough can wrinkle and slide to the back. Heat-up time and dishwasher safety are asked in the file and not answered.

Pros

  • Stone, shovel, and gauge at £39.99
  • Stated body size in centimetres
  • 1 year warranty
  • Cordierite named, unlike the three-way Trendi material line

Cons

  • One written review
  • No pizza diameter
  • No grate-fit measurement
  • Soft dough slid to the back in that review

Best for: You want a stainless hood with a peel included and can judge fit from 37.7 x 30.5 cm.

Less suitable: You want a review sample larger than one, or a kettle ring.

The saved listing asks that question and does not answer it. The stone is described as cordierite. Dishwasher use is not stated.

Onlyfire BRK6105

Rank 7

Onlyfire BRK6105

∼£52

Our view

The Onlyfire BRK6105 is listed at £51.99 for a gas side-burner pizza kit. The set line gives the kit as 12.4 x 10.8 x 4.7 inches, the stone as 11 x 10.2 inches, and a 10 inch spatula. A size line says 31.5 x 27.5 x 12 cm and the dimension field says 11.9 x 31.5 x 27.4 cm. It shows 3.8 from 71 reviews. Six UK reviews include a good fit on a gas barbecue and a side burner, and one report of a burnt base followed by the stone shattering while it was cleaned. The listing says not to touch the hot casing.

Pros

  • Leaves the main grate free
  • Stone and spatula included
  • Clips adjust in one UK review
  • £51.99

Cons

  • Dimension lines conflict
  • Stone material not named
  • No thermometer stated
  • One UK review: stone shattered after a single cook
  • 3.8 from 71

What size is the stone?

The set line says 11 by 10.2 inches, with a 10 inch spatula. The stone material is asked in the saved listing and not answered. Centimetre lines for the kit disagree with each other.

How we compared

Seven amazon.co.uk listings were scored from 0 to 100. Up to 50 points come from the star line, up to 20 from the review count, and up to 30 from how often UK review text describes a finished pizza rather than a failed heat-up, a broken stone, or a fit miss. The highest score is the top pick. Best value is the lowest price with a review count above one. This is not a lab test. Written reviews on the COMVIEE file are from the United States and are not treated as UK experience. The 4.6 on the rotisserie kit is not treated as proof it is the best pizza tool, because many of those reviews cover the spit.

BBQ pizza oven attachment buying guide

Choose the attachment that matches the barbecue you already own. A hood, a kettle ring, a side-burner box and a pellet insert do not swap. Then check the box for a stone and a peel, and check whether the thermometer can be cross-checked. Price only makes sense against a dedicated oven you would actually store.

What is a BBQ pizza oven attachment?

A BBQ pizza oven attachment borrows heat from a barbecue you already own. It is a grate hood, a kettle riser, a side-burner box, or a pellet insert. Those shapes do not interchange. A hood that sits on a gas grate will not become a 57 cm kettle ring, and a pellet insert will not sit on a side burner. The first check is the host grill. A 57 cm kettle from Weber, Napoleon or Outdoorchef, and not a Weber Smokey Mountain, takes the Onlyfire BRK-6023 or the 55–57 cm ring with a spit.

Best for

  • A 57 cm charcoal kettle owner who will keep the lid handle out of the exhaust
  • A large gas barbecue, if you want one cheap hood and you already own a peel

Not ideal for

  • Pizza as the main reason you cook outside, once the attachment nears about £299
  • Indoor, tent, garage, shed or caravan cooking with charcoal or gas

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

    Buying the wrong geometry

A grate hood, a 57 cm kettle ring, a side-burner box and a pellet insert do not interchange. The BRK-6023 names Weber, Napoleon and Outdoorchef 57 cm kettles and excludes a Weber Smokey Mountain. COMVIEE needs a pellet-grill depth of 15.5–19.8 inches. Measure the host before you order.

  2. 2

Leaving a Weber plastic handle in the exhaust

The front slot on a kettle ring keeps the lid on and it is also the exhaust. UK reviews describe melted Weber vent handles when that was ignored. The BRK-6023 listing says to keep the handle clear. A one-year guarantee does not undo a melted handle or a stone that arrived cracked.

  3. 3

Trusting the first pizza, or the motor voltage line

Seller times of a few minutes are after the stone is hot. Dough with no semolina sticks. George Foreman UK reviews report a gauge stuck near 150°C. On the spit kit the bullet says 220 V and the table says 110 V. Read the plate. UK mains are 230 V. Do not cook charcoal or gas indoors, in a tent or in a caravan.

What to weigh up

Host grill

High

The host grill decides the product. A 57 cm kettle from Weber, Napoleon or Outdoorchef takes the Onlyfire BRK-6023. The same bullet excludes a Weber Smokey Mountain. The Onlyfire F-BRK6055-SS1 is the 55–57 cm charcoal kettle ring that adds a spit. It is not listed for gas. A gas or charcoal grate takes a hood if the footprint fits: Trendi, Gardenwize or George Foreman. Gardenwize states a body of 37.7 x 30.5 x 14 cm and does not state a grate width.

Stone, peel and thermometer

High

Stone plus peel is the workable kit. The kettle rings, George Foreman, Gardenwize and the side-burner kit include a paddle or a shovel. Trendi and COMVIEE list the stone and do not list a peel. Cordierite is named on Gardenwize and on the spit kit. The BRK-6023 stone is listed at 38 cm and 1 cm thick, and the highlight also says 15 inch. George Foreman says ceramic. Trendi says cordierite, stoneware or ceramic, and the care line is hand wash. Dishwasher safety is not stated on these listings.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

57 cm kettle and wood on charcoal

You already own a 57 cm charcoal kettle and you will keep the plastic lid handle out of the exhaust. The Onlyfire BRK-6023 at about £78.98 is the top pick: 4.5 from 1,119 reviews, with a stone, an aluminium peel and a thermometer. UK reviews describe pizzas of a few minutes once the fuel is hot, and melted Weber handles when the exhaust was ignored.

One cheap pizza on a large grate

You want one low-priced hood for a large gas, charcoal or electric barbecue and you already own a peel. The Trendi bbq-195 at about £21.72 is the best value, at 4.0 from 43 reviews. UK reviews include short cooks and also burnt bases, raw tops and a cracked stone. It is not a 57 cm kettle ring.

A spit as well as pizza

You want a spit on a 55–57 cm charcoal kettle and you will read the motor plate before you plug it in. The Onlyfire F-BRK6055-SS1 at about £139.99 includes a 15 inch cordierite stone and an electric rotisserie. It shows 4.6 from 1,844 reviews. Many of those reviews cover the spit. The bullet says 220 V and the table says 110 V.

Common questions about BBQ pizza oven attachments

Which BBQ pizza oven attachment is the top pick for 2026?
The top pick is the Onlyfire BRK-6023 at about £78.98. It is a ring for a 57 cm kettle, with a 38 cm stone, an aluminium peel and a thermometer, listed at 4.5 from 1,119 amazon.co.uk reviews. UK reviews describe pizzas of a few minutes once charcoal and hardwood are hot. The same reviews report melted Weber plastic lid handles when the exhaust hits them. The score sorts those listing facts. It is not a lab test.
Which BBQ pizza oven attachment is the best value?
The best value is the Trendi bbq-195 hood at about £21.72, the lowest price in this set with a review count above one. It shows 4.0 from 43 reviews, with a stone and a temperature gauge, and a claim of pizzas up to 12 inches. A peel is not listed. UK reviews include short cooks on a large barbecue and also burnt bases, raw tops and a cracked stone. It does not outscore the Onlyfire kettle ring.
How much does a BBQ pizza oven attachment cost on amazon.co.uk?
In this set, snapped on 19 October 2026, the lines are about £21.72 for Trendi, about £39.99 for Gardenwize, about £51.99 for the Onlyfire side-burner kit, about £59.99 for George Foreman, about £78.98 for the Onlyfire 57 cm ring, about £139.99 for the ring with a spit, and about £282.49 for the COMVIEE pellet insert. Under £40 is the entry band. About £282 is near dedicated-oven money.
Which BBQ pizza oven attachment fits a 57 cm kettle?
The Onlyfire BRK-6023 is listed for a 57 cm kettle, with Weber, Napoleon and Outdoorchef named, and not a Weber Smokey Mountain. The Onlyfire F-BRK6055-SS1 is listed for a 55–57 cm charcoal kettle, also excluding the Smokey Mountain, and it adds an electric spit. A grate hood, a side-burner box and a pellet insert are different shapes. Keep the plastic lid handle out of the exhaust on either ring.
Can you use a BBQ pizza oven attachment indoors or in a tent?
No. The attachment borrows heat from the barbecue. It does not make charcoal or gas safe indoors. NHS guidance is not to use a barbecue or a camping stove indoors or in a tent. Public Health England says not in a tent or caravan even when cold. If you have carbon monoxide symptoms, get outside first, then get medical help, and call 999 if breathing or consciousness is affected. Gas work on the barbecue is for a Gas Safe engineer.
Is the Onlyfire rotisserie motor safe on a UK plug?
The listing does not settle that. On the Onlyfire F-BRK6055-SS1 the bullet says a 220 V electric motor and the specification table says 110 volts, 4 watts and 0.22 kilowatts. UK mains are 230 V. Read the plate on the motor before you plug it in. Do not treat 4.6 from 1,844 reviews as proof this kit is the best pizza tool, because many UK reviews cover the spit. A spit on its own is in the rotisserie comparison.
When is a dedicated pizza oven the clearer buy?
When pizza is the main reason you cook outside, an attachment is a poor substitute. Ooni’s UK shop on 20 October 2026 listed the Koda 12 and Karu 12 at £299. A rule of thumb: once the attachment costs about half a dedicated oven you would actually store, it is no longer the cheap route. The COMVIEE insert at about £282.49 is in that band, and the written reviews in its file are from the United States, not the UK.
Why do some kettle lid handles melt with a pizza ring?
Kettle rings are sold on a front slot that keeps the lid on. That slot is also the exhaust. UK reviews of the Onlyfire rings describe melted Weber plastic vent handles when the handle sat in that path. The BRK-6023 listing itself says to keep the handle clear of the exhaust. A gauge stuck near 150°C, reported on the George Foreman, is a different fault: the dial, not the lid handle.

Our verdict

The top pick is the Onlyfire BRK-6023 at about £78.98. It is the highest score: a stated 57 cm kettle fit, a stone, a peel and a thermometer, at 4.5 from 1,119 amazon.co.uk reviews, with UK text that describes cooked pizzas after a learning cook. Melted Weber lid handles are the repeated damage report when the exhaust hits the plastic. The best value is the Trendi bbq-195 hood at about £21.72, the lowest price here with more than one review. It does not outscore the kettle ring. A peel is not listed, and UK reviews include burnt bases and a cracked stone. None of these scores is a lab test.
