The best Self-adhesive wallpapers, compared.
Top pick: HAOKHOME jungle leopard – Top pick because 3 m by 44.5 cm and 1.34 m² agree, with a 44.5 cm straight match and 4.7 from 164 reviews, and the humidity limit kept in view. Best value: Arthome grey wood stripe, 10 m – Best value at about £3.95 per stated square metre on 4.3 m², if you accept that the 1,929 reviews are shared with the 3 m roll. Updated October 2026.
A roll of about 30 cm by 2 m is furniture film, about 0.6 m². Read the width and the stated cover before the stars. A liner that tears, or adhesive that lifts weak paint, will not show up in the star line alone. The order of checks is in the [self-adhesive wallpaper buying guide](/hub/painting-supplies/self-adhesive-wallpaper/sub/self-adhesive-wallpaper-buying-guide). Self-adhesive wallpaper is a peel-off vinyl or PVC film. You press it onto a smooth, clean, dry surface. UK buyers use the narrow rolls on cupboard doors, shelves, and tables, and the wider rolls on a feature wall. Quality shows up as a liner that peels in one piece, a film that does not tear as you ease it into place, and an adhesive that holds on sound paint and still comes off without taking that paint with it.
A roll of about 30 cm by 2 m is furniture film, about 0.6 m². Read the width and the stated cover before the stars. A liner that tears, or adhesive that lifts weak paint, will not show up in the star line alone.

Question 1 of 2
What are you covering?
The HAOKHOME jungle leopard roll is £12.89 on amazon.co.uk, vinyl stated at 3 m by 44.5 cm and 1.34 m², with a 44.5 cm straight match and no overlap. It shows 4.7 from 164 reviews, with 23 UK texts in this set. The bullets call it thicker than regular contact paper, removable, and wipe-clean with a damp cloth. The same bullets say keep it off textured surfaces and away from high humidity, even though room type includes a bathroom. One roll is a single drop, and the listing states no Euroclass. In this set it is the top pick when you want one wide patterned drop whose length, width, and cover agree.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want one straight-match leopard drop for a smooth, dry wall.
Less suitable: You are lining a steamy bathroom, a textured wall, or a whole room from one roll.
Specifications
Common questions
Does the listing say this can go in a bathroom?
Room type includes a bathroom, and the bullets say it is waterproof and can be wiped. The same bullets say keep it away from high humidity.
Is it a straight match?
Yes. The bullets say a 44.5 cm by 44.5 cm repeat, straight match, and no overlap. The pattern-match field also says straight match.
What is it made from?
The material field says vinyl. The bullets say vinyl and that it is thicker than regular contact paper.
The Alened light brown wood film is £7.99 on amazon.co.uk, and the bullets say 30 cm by 200 cm of thickened PVC, which is 0.6 m². It shows 4.5 from 60 reviews, with 25 UK texts in this set, so the star line is a short sample. The bullets say it removes without residue and mention renters. That is the seller's wording, and it does not settle a tenancy deposit. You still need consent if the tenancy restricts decorating. The unit count says 1.0 m², which disagrees with dimensions of 2 m by 0.3 m. Plan on 0.6 m² for a flat cupboard, glass, or metal face.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want a light brown wood film for one cupboard door and you will measure 0.6 m².
Less suitable: You need a wide wall drop, or you will trust the 1.0 m² unit count.
Specifications
Common questions
Can the listing be used on kitchen cabinets?
The item highlight names a kitchen cupboard, and the bullets name kitchen cupboards among flat, clean surfaces.
How much does one roll cover?
The bullets and the coverage field say 0.6 m². The unit count says 1.0 square metre. Dimensions of 2 m by 0.3 m match 0.6 m².
Does the listing say it comes off without residue?
Yes. The bullets say it removes without residue and mention renters. That is the seller’s sentence, not a deposit ruling.
The Taogift leopard film is £12.59 on amazon.co.uk, PVC, and the title says 45 cm by 3 m. The bullets say 17.7 by 117 inches, and 117 inches is just under 3 m. The details table says 45 cm by 3 cm. There is no square-metre cover, only a unit count of 1.0 count. It shows 4.4 from 289 reviews, with 33 UK texts in this set. Special features say durable, removable, and waterproof, while the care line says wipe with a dry cloth. The bullets mention rental decorating, which is not consent and not a deposit ruling. Measure the roll you receive against the title, not against the 3 cm details line.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want a leopard PVC film and you will check the length against the title after it arrives.
Less suitable: You need an agreed cover figure, or you will order from the 3 cm details line.
Specifications

The Arthome grey wood stripe at £16.98 on amazon.co.uk is the long roll, model SWP763-A, with bullets of 43.5 cm by 10 m and 4.3 m² of PVC. It shows 4.2 from 1,929 reviews, the same star line, main image, and review text as the 3 m ASIN B0D175KRZQ, so those reviews do not isolate this length. Item dimensions say 10 m by 0.44 m, a few millimetres wider than the 43.5 cm bullet. The bullets name dry, flat surfaces, including cabinets, and waterproof is set to true. Using the £16.98 shelf price and the stated 4.3 m², the cover price is about £3.95 per square metre. In this set it is the best value when you need several metres of this stripe and you accept that the review file is shared.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want several metres of grey wood stripe and you will buy model SWP763-A on purpose.
Less suitable: You need reviews that clearly belong to the 10 m roll, or only a single short drop.
Specifications
Common questions
Can this roll go on furniture?
The bullets say dry, flat surfaces and name cabinets and drawers as well as walls.
Is it waterproof?
The waterproof field is true. The bullets also say oil-proof, dust-proof, and moisture-proof, and the material is polyvinyl chloride.
How long is this Arthome roll?
The bullets say 43.5 cm by 1,000 cm and 4.3 m². Item dimensions say 10 m by 0.44 m. Model SWP763-A. The 3 m model is a different ASIN.
The shorter Arthome grey wood stripe is £9.98 on amazon.co.uk, model SWP761-A, and the bullets say 43.5 cm by 305 cm and 1.3 m² of PVC. The coverage field prints 14.28 square feet, which converts to about 1.3 m², so the area matches the bullet and the unit does not. It shows 4.2 from 1,929 reviews, shared with the 10 m ASIN, including the same main image. The theme field says Adventure, which does not describe a grey wood stripe. The bullets name dry, flat cabinets, shelves, doors, and walls, and waterproof is set to true. One roll is a single drop. Buy this ASIN only if SWP761-A is the length you measured.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want one drop of this grey wood stripe and you have checked model SWP761-A.
Less suitable: You need a long run, or you will treat the shared 1,929 reviews as proof of this length alone.
Specifications

The bullets say dry, flat surfaces and name cabinets, countertops, drawers, shelves, doors, and walls.
Is it waterproof?
The waterproof field is true and the material field is polyvinyl chloride. The bullets also say moisture-proof.

The Hode marble film is £5.99 on amazon.co.uk, a PVC roll stated at 30 cm by 2 m and 140 g, which is 0.6 m² if you multiply those sides. It shows 4.1 from 7,910 reviews, with 50 UK texts in this set, so the star line is a large sample and not a lab score. The bullets call it waterproof, oil proof, and stain-resistant, and they say peel it off slowly so it does no damage to the furniture. Heat resistance is asked on the listing and is not answered. There is no separate coverage field and no pattern-match line. One roll is a cupboard door or a shelf. It is the narrow marble film in this set when you want that short length and you can live without a stated heat limit.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want a short marble film for a smooth cupboard or worktop, with a large amazon.co.uk review count.
Less suitable: You need a feature-wall drop, a stated heat limit, or a printed pattern repeat.
Specifications

Does the listing say it leaves no residue?

The myforHD floral leaf film is £9.99 on amazon.co.uk, a PVC roll at 44 cm by 300 cm, and the fields agree on 1.32 m². It shows 4.1 from 1,168 reviews, with 50 UK texts in this set. The bullets say the back is adhesive, with grid lines, peel and stick, and no extra glue, and that you can tear it off without traces of glue. They do not describe the paint underneath. Pattern match is not stated, so you check a leaf repeat on the roll itself. The bullets also name stairs. These listings state no Euroclass, so a stair or a common corridor is outside what this page can specify. It is one floral drop for a flat closet, a cabinet, or a smooth wall.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want one floral drop for a flat cabinet or a smooth wall and you will check the repeat yourself.
Less suitable: You are lining a stair or a corridor, or you need a stated straight match.
Specifications

The Abyssaly dark brown wood film is £6.99 on amazon.co.uk, PVC at a stated 0.25 mm, 30 cm by 200 cm. The bullets and the coverage field say 0.6 m², while the unit count says 1.0 m². Dimensions of 2 m by 0.3 m match 0.6 m², so that is the area to cut from. It shows 4.0 from 1,115 reviews, with 50 UK texts in this set. The bullets say highly water resistant, with grid lines, and no marks when removed, and they also say indoor and outdoor use. A no-marks line is still the seller's sentence, not a deposit ruling. It is a narrow matt wood film for a cabinet or a table. Do not treat the outdoor wording as a specification.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want a dark brown matt film for kitchen cabinets and you will cut from 0.6 m².
Less suitable: You need a wide wall roll, or you will trust the 1.0 m² unit count or an outdoor use.
Specifications

The TOFFCAEa listing is £15.99 on amazon.co.uk, and the title says 10 self-adhesive white brick tiles of about 13 by 15 inches, ranked in 3D Wall Panels. It shows 4.0 from 829 reviews, and UK texts in this set discuss tiles. The material field says plastic, while the bullets say 100 percent spun polyester and describe a table runner. The title says 10 pieces and the number-of-items field says 30. Waterproof appears in the title and not in the bullets, and there is no reliable removal line. The stated cover is 1.3 m². Treat the fit as uncertain until the pack you receive matches the title.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want brick-look tiles and you will check the pack against the title before you fit them.
Less suitable: You need a wallpaper roll with an agreed material and a stated peel-off claim.
Specifications
Common questions
Is this a wallpaper roll?
No. The title says 10 self-adhesive 3D brick tiles. The Best Sellers Rank is in 3D Wall Panels.
What is it made of?
The material field says plastic. The bullets say 100 percent spun polyester and describe a table runner. Those two do not agree. UK reviews talk about brick tiles.
How many pieces are in the pack?
The title and the included-components line say 10. The number-of-items field says 30.
The LOVADA dark brown wood-slat roll is £9.99 on amazon.co.uk, contact paper the bullets call 0.16 mm PVC, titled 44.5 cm by 254 cm. The dimensions are about 2.54 m by 0.45 m, roughly 1.1 m². The coverage field says 112.99 m², and that figure does not match the dimensions. It shows 3.7 from 1,179 reviews, with 50 UK texts in this set. The bullets say keep it off chalking, textured, and fresh paint, and they say new paint should wait 2 to 4 weeks. They also say avoid direct water, and that lifting the film several times may damage fragile paint. It is a straight-match slat film for sound, cured paint, priced as one short roll.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want one dark brown slat drop on smooth, cured paint and you will ignore the 112.99 m² field.
Less suitable: You have chalky, textured, or fresh paint, or you need a cover figure from the details field.
Specifications
Common questions
Does the listing say it can go in a bathroom?
Room type includes a bathroom. The bullets say the surface is waterproof and that you should avoid direct water contact.
Is it easy to remove?
Special features say removable and repositionable. The bullets also say lifting it several times on a fragile wall may damage the paint.
How much does the roll cover?
The title is 44.5 cm by 254 cm and the dimensions are 2.54 m by 0.45 m. The coverage field says 112.99 m². Use the dimensions, not that field.
The wishFIRE light tan wood-slat roll is £7.64 on amazon.co.uk, vinyl at 44 cm by 305 cm, and the bullets, the coverage field, and the unit count all say 1.34 m². It shows 3.3 from 66 reviews, with 28 UK texts in this set, the lowest star line here. The bullets say waterproof, oil proof, and grid lines, on a flat, smooth, clean, dry surface. Removable appears in the item highlight, not as a tested peel. Room type says living room, and a bathroom is only in the questions. One agreed cover figure does not offset 3.3 from 66 ratings. It is a low-priced wide drop only if you have read that star line first.
Pros
Cons
Best for: You want one light tan slat drop at £7.64 and the size fields already agree.
Less suitable: You want a higher star line, a bathroom, or more than 1.34 m² from a single roll.
Specifications
Common questions
Does the listing say it is easy to remove?
The item highlight says removable. The bullets say peel and stick with no extra glue.
What does one roll cover?
The bullets, the coverage field, and the unit count all say 1.34 m² for 44 cm by 305 cm.
Does the room type include a bathroom?
No. The room type field says living room. A bathroom is only in the listing questions, not in the room-type answer.
Eleven amazon.co.uk listings were compared on the surface they name, the width and the job, whether length times width matches the cover field, the pattern match, the removal wording, and the star line read with the review text. The number beside each product is the amazon.co.uk star rating divided by 5 and multiplied by 10, so 4.7 becomes 9.4. That figure is not a laboratory score. The top pick is the HAOKHOME jungle leopard, because length, width, and 1.34 m² agree, with a 44.5 cm straight match and 4.7 from 164 reviews. Best value is the 10 m Arthome grey wood stripe, about £3.95 per stated square metre on 4.3 m², with a review file shared with the 3 m ASIN.
Surface
20%Smooth, clean, dry, cured paint. Woodchip, chalky paint, active damp, and a shower that takes direct water are the wrong ground. A waterproof bullet is not a wet-room lining.
Width and job
20%About 30 cm by 2 m, about 0.6 m², is furniture film. About 44 cm by 2.5 to 3 m, about 1.1 to 1.3 m², is one wall drop, not a room.
Cover you can check
20%Multiply length by width. Ignore a details field that disagrees, including a unit count of 1.0 m² against 0.6 m², a 3 cm details line, or a coverage field of 112.99 m².
Match and batch
15%A straight match and a printed repeat matter on a bold pattern. Buy extra from the same batch. A missing match line means you check the repeat on the roll.
Removal and paint
15%Removable is the seller’s word. Strong tack on weak emulsion pulls paint off. A removal claim is not a tenancy-deposit ruling, and consent still depends on the tenancy.
Stars and review text
10%The star line is the amazon.co.uk rating, not a lab score. A 4.1 from thousands of reviews can still sit beside a thin UK text sample, and a shared review file does not isolate one length.
Buy the roll for the surface, the width, and a cover figure you can check by multiplying the sides. Eleven amazon.co.uk listings sit between about £5.99 and about £16.98. A higher star line is not a wider roll, and a removable claim is not a deposit ruling. The top pick is the wide roll whose size fields agree. The best value is the long stripe with the lowest stated price per square metre. Neither result is a laboratory test.
Self-adhesive wallpaper in this set is a peel-off vinyl or PVC film. You press it onto a smooth, clean, dry surface. You do not paste it. A star rating mixes those jobs.
Hode, Alened, and Abyssaly are about 30 cm by 2 m. That is a cupboard door or a shelf. A feature wall needs the wider rolls, and still more than one of them if the wall is wider than about 44 cm.
LOVADA prints 112.99 m² against about 2.54 m by 0.45 m. Taogift’s details line says 3 cm against a 3 m title. Alened and Abyssaly print 1.0 m² against 0.6 m². Multiply the sides.
The film needs a smooth, clean, dry, cured surface. LOVADA says wait 2 to 4 weeks for new paint and keep off chalking paint. Stretching a pattern, or mixing batches, shows on a straight match. Do not steam plaster to force the film off.
Width decides the job. About 30 cm by 2 m is furniture film, about 0.6 m². About 44 cm by 2.5 to 3 m is one wall drop, about 1.1 to 1.3 m². The long Arthome is the exception in this set, stated at 4.3 m² from 10 m, model SWP763-A. The short Arthome is model SWP761-A at 1.3 m². Buy the model whose length you measured, because the two listings share one star line and one main image. Cover is length times width.
Removable, slow peel, and no glue traces are seller sentences. Alened names renters. Taogift mentions rental decorating. Hode says peel off slowly so it does no damage to the furniture. LOVADA also says lifting the film several times may damage fragile paint. None of that is a deposit ruling. If the tenancy restricts decorating, you still need consent. Shelter England, Citizens Advice, and the Tenancy Deposit Scheme are the places that describe check-in, check-out, and fair wear and tear.
Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.
You want a short film for a smooth door or a shelf, and you will cut from 0.6 m². The Abyssaly dark brown wood film is about £6.99, PVC at a stated 0.25 mm, 30 cm by 200 cm. The bullets name kitchen cabinets. The unit count says 1.0 m², which disagrees with the dimensions.
You want a wide roll whose length, width, and cover agree, for a smooth dry wall. The HAOKHOME jungle leopard is about £12.89, vinyl at 3 m by 44.5 cm and 1.34 m², with a 44.5 cm straight match. amazon.co.uk shows 4.7 from 164 reviews. Keep it off texture and high humidity.
You want more than one drop of the same grey wood stripe, and you will buy the length on purpose. The Arthome roll at about £16.98 is model SWP763-A, stated at 43.5 cm by 10 m and 4.3 m². The 4.2 from 1,929 reviews is shared with the 3 m ASIN.
The top pick is the HAOKHOME jungle leopard at about £12.89. Length, width, and 1.34 m² agree, the straight match repeats every 44.5 cm, and amazon.co.uk shows 4.7 from 164 reviews. The bullets say keep it off texture and high humidity, and one roll is a single drop. The best value is the Arthome grey wood stripe at about £16.98, model SWP763-A, about £3.95 per stated square metre on 4.3 m². The star line of 4.2 from 1,929 reviews is shared with the 3 m ASIN, so those reviews do not isolate this length. None of these listings states a Euroclass, and a removable claim is not a deposit ruling.
HAOKHOME jungle leopard

Arthome grey wood stripe, 10 m
Best value at about £3.95 per stated square metre on 4.3 m², if you accept that the 1,929 reviews are shared with the 3 m roll.
