Top pick: Ensenior 50 cm – Highest score at 91, with 4.7 from 637 reviews and low-speed comments. The 35 dB line has no speed or distance, and phone control is Bluetooth. Best value: FIBRAVE E27 fan light – About £18.99 with 4.2 from 101 reviews, for a sound E27 holder. It is not a joist-fixed fan. Updated 20 October 2026.
An LED ceiling fan on amazon.co.uk is a ceiling fan with a built-in LED and, almost always, a remote, several speeds and dimming. UK buyers use one to replace a pendant and a floor fan in a bedroom or living room. The usual wired product is a flush drum about 50 cm across, or a bladed fan whose centimetre line matters more than the inch title. Judge span, drop, a light you can dim, a fixing that can carry the weight, and low-speed noise in the reviews. Shared colour ratings, an efficiency letter that fights the watt and lumen lines, and on a page marked not water resistant are the catalogue traps. The checks before a brand choice are in the [ceiling fan with light buying guide](/hub/cooling/led-ceiling-fan/sub/led-ceiling-fan-buying-guide).
It is not an air conditioner, and winter reverse does not heat the room.
Wired flush drums are often about 50 cm across and about 14–18 cm deep, with six speeds and a remote.

The Ensenior is a flush fan about 52 x 52 x 14 cm and 2.2 kg, listed at £56.99 with 4.7 from 637 amazon.co.uk reviews. Reviewers who leave the lower speeds on describe a quiet breeze they keep running through the day and night, and one household uses setting 2 as gentle air in a child’s room while treating setting 6 as a short blast. The title offers stepless dimming from 3000 K to 6500 K, though lumen output is not printed, and the 35 dB line does not name the speed or the measuring distance. A review says phone control is Bluetooth for one phone at a time, and it has to be set up again after the wall switch has been off. Reverse is not on the extracted spec, although a reviewer found it after looking it up. The size line says 50 cm while the dimension line says 52 cm, so you should plan from the centimetres. There is no water-resistance line, so this is not a bathroom fitting. In this set it is the top pick when you want a shallow flush fan with a large review file, and a weaker choice if the room needs a blade span near 107 cm.
Pros
4.7 from 637 amazon.co.uk reviews, a unique pool in this set
About 14 cm deep and 2.2 kg, the shallowest wired body here
Reviewers describe a usable breeze on the lower of six speeds
3-year warranty line, at £56.99
Cons
35 dB is printed without speed or distance
Bluetooth phone link does not survive a wall-switch power cycle
50 cm and 52 cm both appear, and lumens are not stated
Best for: You want a shallow flush fan for a small room and will use the remote, not a phone that must be paired again.
Less suitable: You need about 107 cm of blades, a bathroom IP rating, or app control that stays paired.
The spec lists app and remote. A review says control is Bluetooth, one phone at a time, and it has to be set up again after the wall switch has been off.
How deep is it?
The dimension line is 52 x 52 x 14 cm, and the weight is 2.2 kg.
Is a noise figure printed?
Yes. The spec line says 35 dB. It does not state the speed or the measuring distance.
The white DWDVBL is the same model 1138, listed at £72.19 with 4.7 from 617 reviews that open on the same text as the black ASIN. Treat that as one pool. The body is 50 cm across, 3 kg, with a size line of 15 cm and a dimension line of 17 cm, so the drop is not a single figure. The bullet describes 3000 K to 6500 K dimming and a 2.4 GHz remote, while this colour’s spec prints 3200 lumens, a 5000 K line and an efficiency letter A beside 48 W, which is not a checked UK light-source class. Bathroom is on the room list and the water-resistance line says not water resistant, with no IP rating. Pairing by app or Bluetooth fails for some buyers, and install is described as hard on old wiring. A bullet mentions an iron mounting sheet and an anti-fall rope, which the included-components line does not repeat. It is the white finish of a well-reviewed 50 cm drum if you prefer that colour at the higher price, and it is not a bathroom fan.
Pros
Flush 50 cm drum with six reversible DC speeds
Bullet offers 3000–6500 K dimming and a memory of the last light
Shared reviews praise a quiet fan and several light modes
Mounting sheet and anti-fall rope are described in the bullet
Cons
£72.19 for the same shared review pool as the £62.69 black listing
Bathroom on the room list, not water resistant, no IP rating
15 cm and 17 cm both appear, and class A conflicts with 48 W and 3200 lumens
Best for: You want the white 1138 and will ignore the bathroom word on the room list.
Less suitable: You are paying extra because 617 looks like a separate test from 616, or you need a zoned bathroom fan.
Bathroom is on the room list and the water-resistance line says not water resistant. There is no IP rating.
Do the reviews belong only to the white fan?
The opening review matches B0DQVJS1T5. The counts are 617 and 616. Read them as one pool for model 1138.
What went wrong in reviews?
Pairing by app or Bluetooth fails for some people. Install is described as hard where the existing wiring is old. A beep-free motor claim is the seller’s line, not a measured test.
This DWDVBL is model 1138 in black, 50 x 50 x 17 cm and 3 kg, at £62.69 with a star line of 4.7 from 616 reviews. The saved listing opens with the same review as the white ASIN, so you should read those two counts as one shared pool, not two independent tests. Reviewers in that pool call it quiet enough that one person hardly notices the fan, and they mention several light modes and a look that sits well on the ceiling. App or Bluetooth pairing fails for some people even after the app downloads, and installation is called hard where the existing wiring is old. The colour line says black and the shade-colour line says white, so you cannot assume the finish from one field. This colour’s bulb-base line prints E26, while the white listing of the same model prints E27. The mount line says semi-flush, assembly is marked no, and there is no warranty length. It is the cheaper of the two 1138 colours when you accept the shared reviews, and a poor pick if you needed proof that applies only to the black finish.
Pros
£62.69, below the white 1138 at £72.19 in this capture
Six-speed reversible DC motor and a 2.4 GHz remote
Shared reviews often call it quiet, with several light modes
50 cm body at 17 cm deep
Cons
Star line is shared with the white ASIN, not a separate test
Black colour field and a white shade field are both printed
App pairing fails for some buyers, and E26 is on the base line
Best for: You want the cheaper 1138 colour and will judge the reviews as one pool.
Less suitable: You need a finish the listing agrees on, or a review file that is only about the black fan.
The RLMIEL model 1141 is a 50 x 50 x 15 cm fan at 3 kg, priced at £59.99 with 4.6 from 94 reviews. One reviewer chose it after a 6 kg fan hung too low for their ceiling, and an electrician is described as finding the wiring simple. Airflow in those notes is pleasant rather than powerful, which matches a 50 cm drum rather than a 107 cm blade span. Speed 6 is called much noisier than speed 1, so the quiet setting is the low one, not the 35 dB line by itself. The title offers 3000 K to 6500 K dimming, while the spec line prints 3000 K, 2500 lumens and 48 W, and an efficiency letter A that does not follow from those figures. The bullet mentions a 1/2-hour timer and a 1-year manufacturer line. Assembly is marked no, yet the bullet still describes ceiling wiring. Bathroom is not on the room list and there is no IP rating. It suits a small bedroom where a bulky fan would look wrong, and it is less suitable if you wanted a strong down-draught.
Pros
15 cm deep and 3 kg, chosen in a review for a ceiling that rejected a heavier drop
4.6 from 94 reviews, with six speeds and reverse
Dimmable light in the title, plus remote, app and a short timer
Gloves, manual and installation accessories are listed in the box
Cons
Reviewers call the cooling light, and speed 6 much louder than speed 1
Efficiency letter A conflicts with 48 W and 2500 lumens
Assembly marked no, while the bullet still asks for ceiling wiring
Best for: You have a small bedroom and a ceiling that needs the body close to the plaster.
Less suitable: You want strong airflow, a verified efficiency class, or a bathroom fitting.
One reviewer chose it after a heavier fan at 6 kg hung too low for their ceiling. This listing is 3 kg and 15 cm deep. That is a review comparison, not a landlord rule.
How strong is the airflow in reviews?
One review calls it lightly cooling and pleasant, not hugely powerful, with six settings. Another says speed 6 is much noisier than speed 1.
Is a bathroom use answered on the listing?
A question on the page asks about bathrooms. The room list does not include a bathroom, and there is no IP rating in the extract.
The Depuley WSFPZ01 is a three-blade fan at 107 x 107 x 27 cm and 3.47 kg, listed at £83.99 with 4.5 from 153 reviews. Reviewers who name a bedroom or a smaller living room often call it smooth and quiet at night, and fitting is described as straightforward when the old mounts match. One review says the down-draught still feels weak on the fastest of the six speeds, so the 42 inch title is not a promise of a strong breeze. A reviewer says the listing claimed an app and the seller later withdrew that claim; the spec connectivity line is Bluetooth, and the remote needed fresh AAA batteries before it responded. The title says outdoor and flush, while the water-resistance line says not water resistant, the usage line says indoor, and the mount line says semi-flush. Lumens are not printed. One reviewer’s sequence of three earlier units, including a burnout after a week, may mix orders, so it is not a defect rate. It is the bladed option here when you want about 107 cm and can live with a 27 cm drop, and a mismatch if the title’s outdoor word is why you are buying.
Pros
107 cm span that agrees with the 42 inch title
4.5 from 153 reviews, with night-quiet comments
Six-speed reversible DC motor, remote and a timer
3.47 kg, lighter than the 4 kg retractable fan
Cons
One review finds the down-draught weak even on the top speed
App claim was withdrawn; the remote needed fresh batteries
Outdoor in the title, not water resistant on the spec
Best for: You want visible blades around 107 cm indoors and a remote you can use at night.
Less suitable: You have a ceiling near 2.4 m that cannot spare 27 cm, or you need a rain-rated patio fan.
The title says outdoor. The water-resistance line says not water resistant, and the usage line says indoor.
Does the app work?
A review says the listing claimed an app and the seller then said that claim was wrong. The spec connectivity line is Bluetooth.
How does the airflow feel in reviews?
Several reviews call it quiet at night. One says the down-draught is weak even on the fastest setting. Another reviewer’s earlier units included one that burnt out after a week; that sequence may mix orders.
This retractable-blade fan, model XY-001, opens to 106.7 x 106.7 cm and drops 40 cm, at 4 kg and £74.99, with 4.5 from 40 reviews. The folded width in the bullet is 18.5 inches, which changes the look when the fan is off and does not change that 40 cm body height. Reviewers like the modern blades, a bright light and airflow that was enough for the room they fitted. The same small file includes canopy screws too small to finish the bracket, a diagram part that is not supplied separately, and at least one return for missing parts. One reviewer says the remote beeps on every press, which contradicts the overview. Fan and light can be switched separately, with six reversible DC speeds and a bullet claiming under 35 dB without a method. Warranty is 1 year on the spec and 2 years in a bullet. The spec colour line is 6000 K while the bullet says 3000 K to 6500 K. It is the folding option when you want about 107 cm of blades and will check the hardware pack before you start, and a frustrating buy if a silent remote is the point.
Pros
Blades fold to a stated 18.5 inches and open to 106.7 cm
Fan and light can be operated separately from the remote
230 V, six-speed reversible DC motor, 3000 lumens on the spec
Hardware pack, shade, manual and remote are listed
Cons
40 cm drop, so folding does not make it a low-ceiling fan
Missing parts and canopy screws that would not finish the install
Remote beeps on every press, in a file of only 40 reviews
Best for: You want retractable blades in a room that can spare 40 cm of drop.
Less suitable: You need a silent remote, a 15 cm flush body, or a listing with hundreds of reviews.
The SANYCASA listing is £65.99 with 4.3 from 17 reviews, which is too small a file to treat as a settled pattern. The title says 42 inch, flush and plug in, but centimetres, drop, weight, wattage and voltage are all missing, and the spec does not show a BS 1363 plug or a lead length. The title says black and the colour field says walnut, while a bullet mentions black or white as a range. A coverage line of 15 cubic metres is a volume, not a floor area. The 20 dB claim has no speed or distance; one sceptical reviewer then found the low speeds quiet in their room, which is a comment, not a measurement. Six speeds, reverse, a 2-hour and a 4-hour timer and a sleep mode that dims the light are in the bullets. A review says the leaflet shows a controller strap that was not in the bag, and the seller said a newer controller does not need it. Instructions are called unclear if you are not used to electrical fittings. It is only a candidate once the delivered size and plug are known, and it is the weakest specified fan in this set.
Pros
Six speeds, reverse, and 2-hour and 4-hour timers on the listing
A reviewer found low speeds quiet and the fan stable, without wobble
Stepless dimming across warm, natural and cool white is claimed
Seller replied about the missing controller strap
Cons
17 reviews, and no centimetre span, drop, weight or wattage
Plug-in title with no BS 1363 line, and black versus walnut
20 dB has no method, and 15 m³ is not a room size
Best for: You can confirm the size and the plug on the unit you receive, and you want a timer.
Less suitable: You are choosing from the title’s 42 inch or plug-in words alone.
The RHEAFON 6012 is a bladed fan at £53.99 with 4.2 from 195 reviews, a reversible DC motor and six speeds. Reviewers who sleep under it often prefer the low speeds, and one says it cools a bed better than the floor fans it replaced. The light is dimmable, with a bullet range of 2700 K to 6500 K, 2199 lumens and a spec line that also prints 6500 K. Fan and light can be run separately, and the remote offers a 2-hour timer while the app lists 1, 2, 4 and 8 hours. The title says 30 inch, the size line says 32 inches, and the dimension line is 76 x 76 x 45 cm before you choose a downrod, so the drop grows if you fit the 4.9 or 7.9 inch rod. Weight is 3 kg on the spec and 3.5 kg in a bullet. The usage line says indoor and outdoor, the water line says not water resistant, and a bullet says not to expose it to rain. UKCA appears beside CE, FCC and UL. Fitting is called fiddlier than the listing suggests. It is a mid-price bladed fan if you measure the centimetres, and a bad patio buy on the outdoor word alone.
Pros
4.2 from 195 reviews, with sleep-quiet comments on low speed
Fan and light operate separately, with app and remote timers
Two downrod lengths are named, and hardware is in the box
£53.99, the lowest wired price in this set
Cons
30 inch, 32 inch and 76 cm are all printed
45 cm dimension before a rod, so it is not a low-ceiling body
Outdoor on the usage line, not water resistant, do not expose to rain
Best for: You want blades and a choice of rods on a ceiling that can take the extra drop.
Less suitable: Your ceiling is about 2.4 m, or you planned to hang it in the rain.
The title says 30 inch, the size line says 32 inches, and the dimension line is 76 x 76 x 45 cm. Use the centimetre line, and treat the inch titles as conflicting.
Can it go on a patio?
The usage line says indoor and outdoor. The water-resistance line says not water resistant, and a bullet says not to expose it directly to rain.
Is an angle bracket included?
The bullet says an angle bracket can be sent if you contact the seller. It is not in the included-components line.
The CHANFOK 62001 is a 53 x 53 x 21 cm flush fan at 3.27 kg, listed at £159.99 with 4.2 from 149 reviews. That is the highest price in this set for a span close to the 50 cm drums that sell nearer £57. Reviewers who ignore the app call it quieter than a tower fan and praise the light and the airflow in the first weeks. The title claims Alexa and Google Assistant, yet reviews say the app often will not connect, and the remote or wall switch can wait several seconds before the fan moves, which one buyer nearly returned as a fault. Instructions are called incomplete, including no warning about that delay. One review says the unit shorted after about 18 months, tripped the MCB and then would not run. The water line says water resistant with no IP number, so it is not an IPX4 claim. Efficiency is printed as A++ with no lumen figure. It is a voice-control experiment only if the remote already does the job you need, and an expensive 20 inch fan if the app is the reason for the price.
Pros
Remote still works in reviews where the app does not
Six reversible speeds on a 53 cm flush body
4.2 from 149 reviews, with quiet-versus-a-tower-fan comments
Light kit and remote are listed in the box
Cons
£159.99 for about 53 cm, well above the other flush fans here
App often will not connect, and the remote can lag by several seconds
One short circuit after about 18 months, and water resistant has no IP code
Best for: You want the remote on a small flush fan and will treat voice control as unproven.
Less suitable: You are paying £159.99 for Alexa, or you need a 107 cm span.
The title claims Alexa and Google Assistant. Reviews praise the fan and then say the app would not connect. The remote is the control they describe as working, with a delay of several seconds.
Is water resistant an IP rating?
The line says water resistant. No IP code is printed, so it is not an IPX4 claim.
What long-term fault is in the reviews?
One review says it shorted after about 1.5 years, tripped the MCB, and then would not run.
The FIBRAVE screws into an E27 lampholder instead of a ceiling bracket, and amazon.co.uk lists it at £18.99 with 4.2 from 101 reviews. The body is about 52 cm across and 18 cm deep, at 710 g, with three speeds, a remote and a dimmable three-colour light claimed at 2000 lumens. Reviewers in small rooms call it quiet, and one household had an electrician fit it in a few minutes, which puts a labour fee on top of the shelf price. Remote batteries are not in the box, according to a review. Another buyer could not undo the old rose and left the fan on the cable, and a third found the fan dead while a normal bulb still worked in the same holder. The title says 40 W and the model string says 30 W. Bathroom is on the room list without an IP rating, and a bullet’s 2.3–3 m ceiling line is a seller claim. It is the best value here when the holder is already sound, and a poor substitute for a joist-fixed fan.
Pros
£18.99, the lowest price in this set, with 4.2 from 101 reviews
Screws into an E27 holder, with no bracket in the claimed kit
Three speeds, a remote and a 2-year manufacturer line
710 g, far lighter than the 2–4 kg wired fans
Cons
A returned unit was dead while a normal bulb still worked in the holder
Rose or holder problems, and remote batteries not included
40 W and 30 W both appear, and bathroom has no IP rating
Best for: You already have a sound E27 holder and want moving air without a new bracket.
Less suitable: The rose will not come off, the holder is doubtful, or you need a fixed fan on a joist.
The listing says it screws into a standard E27 lampholder and that no separate hanging hardware is required. It is not the bracket fan used by the flush mounts in this set.
Is it listed for a bathroom?
Bathroom is on the room-type list. There is no IP rating in the extracted spec, so the listing does not show a zoned bathroom fitting.
What did reviewers say about fitting?
One household used an electrician for a few minutes. Another could not undo the old rose and left the fan on the cable. A third found the fan dead while a normal bulb still worked in the same holder.
The NIORSUN is a black flush fan at 50 x 50 x 14.5 cm and 2.63 kg, priced at £56.98 with 4.0 from 59 reviews. Some reviewers keep it on above a bed and find it acceptable with the television on, and at least one reports high speed without vibration. The light is 30 W and 3600 lumens, with 3000 K, 4500 K and 6000 K in the bullet. Noise is printed as both ≤35 dB(A) and 30 dB(A), with no speed or distance. One reviewer returned it after sharp edges on the shade clips cut a finger, and another says the motor failed on the third day. Remote batteries are not included. Bathroom is on the room list and the water-resistance line says not water resistant. A bullet claims 15–20 m², which is a seller coverage figure. The 2-year service line in the bullet is not repeated as a warranty length on the spec. It can work as a shallow black drum if you accept a thinner review file and those fault reports, and it is a weak default next to the Ensenior at a similar price.
Pros
14.5 cm deep, among the shallowest bodies in the set
Six reversible speeds, app and remote, at £56.98
Three stated colour temperatures and 3600 lumens on the listing
230 V, with most parts described as pre-assembled
Cons
Motor failed on day three in one review
Sharp edges on the shade clips led to a return
Bathroom on the room list, not water resistant, and two conflicting dB lines
Best for: You want a shallow black 50 cm drum and will inspect the shade clips before fitting.
Less suitable: You want the larger unique review file at a similar price, or any bathroom use.
The LXTEDJ is listed at £58.99 with 4.0 from 34 reviews, and the size line is 100 x 100 x 20 cm against a 40 inch title. That centimetre line is the one to plan from, because a full length-width-height table is not in the extract and 40 inches is about 102 cm, not a 50 cm drum. Some reviewers like the remote instead of a pull cord and describe airflow without too much noise, while other comments in the same small file call it noisy. One reviewer calls the build cheap and flimsy against a price they remember as about £65; the shelf price in this scrape is £58.99. Bluetooth is the protocol, and one review says the app did not pair. The light line claims 5200 lumens, 60 W and adjustable white, with a spec temperature of 3000 K. Weight is 2.45 kg. It is not water resistant, voltage is not on the extracted spec, and the box contents line is empty. It is a possible 100 cm fan if you can accept 34 reviews and a failed app, and a shaky buy if the flimsy comments are what you were hoping to avoid.
Pros
Size line 100 x 100 x 20 cm, wider than the 50 cm drums
Remote control, which reviewers prefer to a pull cord
Dimmable adjustable-white light, with 5200 lumens claimed
2.45 kg at £58.99
Cons
Only 34 reviews, and the build is called flimsy
App did not pair in a review
40 inch title versus a 100 cm size line, and no voltage on the spec
Best for: You have measured for about 100 cm and will rely on the remote rather than the app.
Less suitable: You want a deep review file, or a listing whose inch title and centimetre line match.
Bluetooth is the protocol line. One review says the app did not pair.
How wide is it?
The title says 40 inch and the size line says 100 x 100 x 20 cm. A full length-width-height table is not in the extract.
What do reviews say about the build?
Some call the airflow quiet and the remote useful. One calls it flimsy against a price they remember as about £65. The shelf price in this scrape is £58.99.
How we compared
Scores use twelve amazon.co.uk listings in this comparison. There was no lab test. Shelf prices are GBP as captured. Star lines are the amazon.co.uk figures in those files. The two DWDVBL model 1138 colours share one review pool, and that pool is counted once. The weights below sum to 100. The top pick and the best value are given once each.
1
Review evidence
40%
Stars and a unique review count, up to 40. The two DWDVBL model 1138 colours share one pool, about 616–617 reviews at 4.7. That pool is counted once, not twice.
2
Listing clarity
25%
A usable centimetre line, a stated drop, and controls that match the reviews. Deductions cover inch-versus-centimetre clashes, a bathroom or outdoor word beside not water resistant or no IP code, an efficiency letter that fights the watt and lumen lines, and a plug-in title with no BS 1363 line.
3
Use in the room
20%
Low-speed comments, a remote that still works if an app fails, and separate fan and light where the listing says so. Deductions cover early failure, a beep on every press, a delay of several seconds, or missing parts.
4
Price in this set
15%
The shelf price in GBP against what the listing actually is: a flush drum, a bladed span, a screw-in, or a 53 cm fan with a voice-control claim. A high price for a small span deducts. This block is not the best-value award by itself.

LED ceiling fan buying guide
Start with centimetres, then the fitting you already have, then the light and the low speed you will actually use. An inch title and a star line do not choose the fan.
What is an LED ceiling fan?
An LED ceiling fan is a ceiling fan with a built-in LED. On amazon.co.uk it almost always adds a remote, several speeds and dimming. UK buyers use one to replace a pendant and a floor fan in a bedroom or a living room. It moves air. It is not an air conditioner, and winter reverse does not heat the room. It is not a bathroom extractor.
The types in this set are different jobs. Wired flush drums are often about 50 cm across and about 14–18 cm deep, with six speeds and a remote.
Best for
A small bedroom that needs a shallow flush light and a remote
A larger room where the centimetre span is about 107 cm and the ceiling can spare the drop
Not ideal for
A bathroom or a patio, when the page has no IP rating
Anyone who expects the fan to cool the room like an air conditioner
Mistakes to avoid
1
Reading 50 cm as a full-size fan
A flush drum about 50 cm across is a small fan. Titles in inches can disagree with the table, including 30 inch versus 76 cm and 40 inch versus 100 cm. Plan from the centimetre line, then from the drop.
2
Trusting a noise line or an efficiency letter
Printed 20–35 dB figures in this set rarely name the speed and the distance. An efficiency letter that fights the watt and lumen lines is not a checked A–G class. Prefer comments about the low speed you will use.
3
Treating two DWDVBL colours as two tests
The black and white listings are model 1138. The files open on the same review, at 4.7 from about 616 and 617 reviews. That is one pool. Bathroom beside not water resistant is still not a bathroom fitting.
What to weigh up
Span, drop and light
High
The first check is span and drop in centimetres, against the ceiling height. A 50 cm flush body is a small fan. The Ensenior is about 14 cm deep, with a size line of 50 cm and a dimension line of 52 cm. The Depuley lists 107 cm and a 27 cm drop, and the inch title agrees. The retractable fan opens to 106.7 cm and drops 40 cm. The RHEAFON prints 30 inch, 32 inch and 76 cm, with 45 cm on the dimension line before you choose a downrod.
Remote, noise and fixing
High
A remote that still works if the app fails is the control to trust. The Ensenior review says phone control is Bluetooth and has to be set up again after the wall switch. The CHANFOK title claims Alexa and Google Assistant, and reviews say the app often will not connect while the remote can lag by several seconds. The retractable fan’s remote beeps on every press in a file of 40 reviews. Noise at the speed you will use matters more than a 20 dB or 35 dB line with no method.
Which option suits you?
Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

Small bedroom
You want a shallow flush light on a ceiling around 2.4 m, and you will use the remote. The Ensenior 50 cm is the top pick: 4.7 from 637 reviews, about 14 cm deep, at about £56.99. The 35 dB line does not name speed or distance, and the phone link is Bluetooth.
You need a real blade span, not a 50 cm drum sold on lumens, and a joist that can carry it. The Depuley 42 inch lists 107 cm, which agrees with the inch title, at about £83.99 with 4.5 from 153 reviews. The drop is 27 cm, and the title’s outdoor word is not a water rating.
You already have a sound lampholder and you do not want a new bracket. The FIBRAVE E27 fan light is the best value at about £18.99, with 4.2 from 101 reviews and a body of about 710 g. A returned unit was dead while a bulb still worked in the same holder.
The Ensenior 50 cm flush fan is the top pick. It scores 91, the highest here, with 4.7 from 637 amazon.co.uk reviews, at about £56.99. Reviewers leave the lower of six speeds on. The body is about 14 cm deep and 2.2 kg. The 35 dB line does not name the speed or the distance, lumens are not printed, and a review says phone control is Bluetooth that must be set up again after the wall switch. It is a small flush fan, not a 107 cm blade span.
Which LED ceiling fan is the best value?
The FIBRAVE E27 fan light is the best value. It is about £18.99, the lowest price in this set, with 4.2 from 101 reviews. It screws into an E27 holder, weighs about 710 g, and lists three speeds and a remote. It is the right row only when that holder is already sound. A returned unit was dead while a normal bulb still worked in the same holder. Remote batteries are not in the box, according to a review, and bathroom is on the room list with no IP rating.
How much does an LED ceiling fan cost on amazon.co.uk?
On these twelve amazon.co.uk listings, the E27 screw-in is about £18.99. Most wired fans sit from about £53.99 to about £74.99. The Depuley is about £83.99. The CHANFOK is about £159.99 for a 53 cm body with a voice-control claim, not for a 132 cm fan. These are the shelf prices in this folder, not a census of every UK shop. A specialist flush fan listed elsewhere from £157 is not a price for these ASINs.
Does an LED ceiling fan cool the room?
It moves air so you feel cooler. It does not lower room temperature by a stated number of degrees, and it is not an air conditioner. Reverse circulates air. It does not heat the room in winter. A 50 cm flush drum is a small fan. A listing near 107 cm is a different amount of air, and even then one Depuley review calls the down-draught weak on the top speed. No lab test was run for this page.
Can you fit one of these in a bathroom?
Not from the words on these pages. Bathroom on a room menu, or a patio bullet, is not an IP rating. Several listings say not water resistant beside that word. The CHANFOK line says water resistant and prints no IP code, so it is not an IPX4 claim. Zones 1 and 2 need a suitable IP rating. No IP line means you cannot call it a bathroom fan. A new circuit, or work in a bath or shower location, is the point to use a registered electrician.
What drop works under a low ceiling?
Read the centimetre drop and subtract it from the ceiling you measured. In this set the shallow wired bodies are about 14–18 cm: the Ensenior at 14 cm, the NIORSUN at 14.5 cm, the RLMIEL at 15 cm. The Depuley drops 27 cm, the retractable fan drops 40 cm, and the RHEAFON dimension line is 45 cm before a downrod. Flush, retractable and low profile in a title do not replace that sum. The arithmetic is on the low profile ceiling fan with light page.
When should you call an electrician?
Call a registered electrician if there is no earth, the conductors are unclear, the work is in a bathroom zone or needs a new circuit, or the ceiling cannot be shown to carry the fan. Approved Document P describes a like-for-like rose change outside a bath or shower zone as not notifiable. That is not the same as saying anyone can do it. The fan still has to be safe, and fixed fans need isolation for maintenance. Scheme operators for dwellings are listed on GOV.UK.
Our verdict
The Ensenior 50 cm flush fan is the top pick. It scores 91, the highest in this set, with 4.7 from 637 amazon.co.uk reviews and comments that keep the lower speeds on. The limits are on the listing: 35 dB with no speed or distance, a Bluetooth link that has to be set up again after the wall switch, and 50 cm beside 52 cm. The FIBRAVE E27 fan light is the best value at about £18.99, with 4.2 from 101 reviews, when the holder is already sound. A returned unit was dead while a normal bulb still worked in the same holder. An LED ceiling fan moves air. It does not lower room temperature, and reverse does not heat the room.
