A pool cover is a sheet tied over an above-ground or inflatable garden pool to keep out leaves, insects and blown dirt. It is not a safety cover, and it is not a bubble solar cover. A useful sheet names the pool family, cinches with a rope, and uses a PVC or vinyl sheet that survives rain. Light polyethylene drawstring covers, about 270 g to 630 g in these files, draw more wind and size-text complaints. Intex says its covers are not safety covers. RoSPA still wants a paddling pool emptied after use, because rain refills it. How to choose by family, size lines and fixing is in the [pool cover buying guide](/hub/swimming-pools/pool-cover/sub/pool-cover-buying-guide). A safety cover is sold to hold weight.

The best Pool covers in detail

Intex 28021 Easy Set 10 ft cover

Rank 1

Intex 28021 Easy Set 10 ft cover

∼£13

Our view

Intex lists the 28021 for a 10 ft / 305 cm Easy Set at about £12.99, and the amazon.co.uk line is 4.4 from 14,766 reviews. The bullets describe vinyl, rope ties and drain holes so water does not accumulate on top, which is the pattern UK buyers expect on a branded summer sheet. Several reviewers call the fit snug on the inflatable top ring and mention needing two people to spread it without tearing a corner. One UK report says it fitted a Bestway Pro Max 10 ft tightly. That is a single cross-brand story, not a specification. The weight field is not a usable mass for this cover, so the listing does not give you a reliable heft figure. In this capture it is the top pick when your pool is the 10 ft Easy Set family the title names, and a poor match if you wanted a stated weight or a steel-frame rim without checking reviews first.

Pros

  • Named for Intex Easy Set 10 ft / 305 cm pools
  • 4.4 from 14,766 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • Vinyl sheet with rope ties and drain holes in the bullets
  • About £12.99, mid-band for a branded round cover

Cons

  • The printed weight is not a usable mass
  • Snug fits and two-person spreads show up in UK reviews
  • Cross-brand Bestway reports are anecdotal, not a guarantee

Best for: You have a 10 ft Intex Easy Set and want the cover Intex prints for that diameter.

Less suitable: You need a printed weight, a steel Pro Max rail without checking fit, or a rectangular frame pool.

Common questions

Will the 28021 fit a Bestway 10 ft pool?

The listing names 10 ft Easy Set pools. One UK review says it fitted a Bestway Pro Max 10 ft, snug, and needed two people. That is one report, not a Bestway specification.

Is the cover heavy?

The weight field is not a plausible mass for this cover, so the listing does not give a usable weight.

Does it include drain holes?

The bullets say drain holes so water does not accumulate on top, and rope ties to hold the cover.

Intex 58412 rectangular cover

Rank 2

Intex 58412 rectangular cover

∼£10

Our view

The Intex 58412 is a rectangular PVC sheet for two Swim Centre model numbers, 56483NP and 56484NP, at about £9.95 with 4.4 from 9,265 reviews in this file. At 1.87 kg it is heavier than the light PE alternatives here, and the size field reads 305 × 183 cm alongside those named pools in the bullets. UK reviewers mention getting it on with two people and describe a cord that can feel fiddly compared with a simple rope hem. Drain holes are not promised in the bullets, and one review says the sheet sags when rain collects, which is the trade-off on a mostly sealed rectangle. For this capture it is the best value pick when you already know your pool is one of those Swim Centre sizes, because the listing names the family instead of only a foot label. It is not the sheet for a round Easy Set or a steel Pro Max rail.

Pros

  • About £9.95, the lowest shelf price among the branded debris sheets here
  • 4.4 from 9,265 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • Names two Intex Swim Centre models in the bullets
  • PVC at 1.87 kg, heavier than the 270 g PE sheets

Cons

  • Drain holes are not stated in the bullets
  • UK reviews mention sag in rain and a fiddly cord
  • Only matches the two Swim Centre sizes named, not every 10 ft pool

Best for: Your pool is an Intex Swim Centre 56483NP or 56484NP and you want a named rectangular cover.

Less suitable: You have a round Easy Set, a Bestway Steel Pro, or you need drain holes promised on the page.

Common questions

Which pools does the 58412 name?

The bullets name Intex Swim Centre 103 in × 69 in (56483NP) and 120 in × 72 in (56484NP). The size field is 305 × 183 cm.

Does the listing say it has drain holes?

Drain holes are not in the bullets. A UK review says the sheet sags in rain.

How long is the warranty on the listing?

The manufacturer warranty field says 2 Year Limited Warranty.

Intex 28020 Easy Set 8 ft cover

Rank 3

Intex 28020 Easy Set 8 ft cover

∼£10

Our view

The Intex 28020 is the sheet amazon.co.uk lists for an 8 ft / 244 cm Easy Set, at about £10.34 with 4.3 from 23,913 reviews. Reviewers who name that inflatable ring often describe a straightforward tie-down, and UK texts mention drain holes roughly the size of a ten-pence piece so rain does not sit as a pond on the vinyl. One buyer says it also fitted a Bestway Fast Set 8 ft, while another reports it was no good for an 8 ft steel-pole pool, which matches how different a ring rim is from a rail. The catalogue size field prints 25 cm round, which contradicts the title and the reviews, so you should treat the 8 ft line as the intent and ignore 25 cm. Material lines mix vinyl, polyethylene and plastic on the same page. At about 1.42 kg it is heavier than the light PE drawstring sheets in this set, but it is still a debris cover, not a safety barrier.

Pros

  • Title and bullets name an Intex Easy Set 8 ft / 244 cm pool
  • 4.3 from 23,913 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • Rope ties and drain holes are stated in the listing
  • About £10.34 in this capture, in the usual branded band

Cons

  • Size field says 25 cm, which conflicts with the 8 ft title
  • UK reviews disagree on steel-pole 8 ft pools
  • Material and warranty fields on the page are contradictory

Best for: You own an Intex Easy Set 8 ft ring and want the cover Intex names for that family.

Less suitable: Your 8 ft pool has steel poles, or you need a listing whose size lines agree.

Common questions

Which pool is the 28020 listed for?

The bullets say an Intex Easy Set pool, and the title says 8 ft / 244 cm. A UK review says it also fitted a Bestway Fast Set 8 ft. Another says it was no good for an 8 ft steel-pole pool.

Why does the size line say 25 cm?

The size field prints 25 cm round. That conflicts with the title and with reviews of an 8 ft pool. Do not use 25 cm as the cover size.

Does the listing mention lead?

A bullet says Insert: Lead. The raw file does not explain what that insert is.

Intex 28039 rectangular cover

Rank 4

Intex 28039 rectangular cover

∼£15

Our view

Intex model 28039 is a rectangular PVC frame cover at about £14.99 with 4.2 from 11,110 reviews and a listed weight of 3.28 kg. The title prints 450 × 220 × 20 cm while the size field says 460 × 230 × 20 cm, and the model name repeats 450 × 220, so you must reconcile those lines against your frame before you order. The special-features field mentions a drawstring closure, and UK reviews talk about rain pushing the sheet down until corners tear, plus small holes that still let debris through. Drain holes are not listed in the bullets, unlike the round Easy Set covers. It suits a buyer who can match the centimetres to an Intex frame pool and who will fit it without stretching the flap. It is a risky default if you wanted one agreed size line on the amazon.co.uk page.

Pros

  • 4.2 from 11,110 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • PVC at 3.28 kg, sturdier than the 270 g PE sheets
  • 20 cm flap stated in the bullets for frame overlap

Cons

  • Title and size field disagree by about 10 cm each way
  • UK reviews report rain weight tearing corners
  • Pack count fields say 6 items and 1 count without resolution

Best for: You can measure an Intex frame pool against both printed size lines and accept hand fitting.

Less suitable: You want one undisputed size on the listing, or you need drain holes promised in the bullets.

Common questions

Which size should you trust?

The title says 450 × 220 × 20 cm. The size field says 460 × 230 × 20 cm. The model name says 450×220. Both lines are printed.

What do UK reviews say about rain?

One review says the weight of rain pushes the cover down and the corners tear. Another says little holes let bits through into the water.

How many are in the pack?

Number of items says 6. The unit-count field says 1.0 count. The file does not resolve that.

Intex 28038 3 m x 2 m cover

Rank 5

Intex 28038 3 m x 2 m cover

∼£73

Our view

The Intex 28038 is the large rectangular frame sheet for a 300 × 200 cm pool, with rope ties, drainage holes and an 8 in overhang in the bullets. This amazon.co.uk capture shows about £72.99, which is far above the other Intex debris covers in the set. A UK specialist has listed the same model number at £19.99. Treat the Amazon shelf price as the figure in this file, and compare it before you order. The star line is 4.1 from 29,037, yet UK review texts in the file mention loose seams on a matching size and a corner tear after the cover was stretched onto the pool. At 1.92 kg it is not the heaviest sheet here, so the high price is not explained by mass in the listing. Consider it only when you have confirmed the 300 × 200 cm Intex frame model. Do not treat the star count as permission to ignore the £72.99 line in this file.

Pros

  • Bullets name 3 m × 2 m Intex rectangular frame pools
  • Rope ties, drainage holes and 8 in overhang stated
  • 4.1 from 29,037 on the listing line

Cons

  • About £72.99 in this capture, far above other covers in the set
  • UK reviews mention loose seams and torn corners after a tight fit
  • The same model number appears cheaper at UK pool shops, not verified here

Best for: You own the named 3 m × 2 m Intex frame and have checked the price against other UK sellers.

Less suitable: You want a sub-£25 debris sheet, or you cannot confirm the exact Intex frame model.

Common questions

What pool is the 28038 listed for?

The bullets say compatible 3 m × 2 m Intex rectangular frame pools, with an 8 in overhang, rope ties and drainage holes.

What price is on this Amazon capture?

The raw file prints £72.99. That is the shelf price in this capture, and it is much higher than the other Intex covers here.

What do reviews say about the seams?

One UK review says the 300 × 200 size fitted, but seams were loose. Another says a corner tore after the cover was stretched onto a matching Intex pool.

Bestway 58036 10 ft cover

Rank 6

Bestway 58036 10 ft cover

∼£24

Our view

Bestway’s Flowclear 58036 is listed for 3.05 m (10 ft) Steel Pro and Pro Max pools at about £23.99, with PVC at 1.59 kg and ropes plus drain holes in the bullets. The star line reads 4.1 from 20,207, but the raw file shows the same opening reviews on the 3.66 m listing, including a 305 cm perfect-fit comment, so you should not add those counts across sizes or treat every review as about this ASIN alone. Reviewers who do name a steel frame often describe a workable debris sheet for leaves and insects, while the colour field says grey and the title says black. A bullet mentions insulation, yet there is no temperature figure in the file. It is the reasonable Bestway-branded choice when your pool is the 10 ft steel family the page names, and a weaker bet if you are shopping on stars alone without checking the shared review file.

Pros

  • Bullets name 10 ft Steel Pro and Pro Max pools
  • PVC with ropes and drain holes stated
  • 1.59 kg, heavier than the generic PE drawstring sheets

Cons

  • 20,207 reviews are shared with the 3.66 m Bestway cover
  • Colour field and title disagree on black versus grey
  • About £23.99 is high against Intex round sheets under £13

Best for: You own a Bestway 10 ft Steel Pro or Pro Max and want the cover Bestway lists for that rail.

Less suitable: You are choosing by star count alone, or your pool is an inflatable ring of the same foot size.

Common questions

Which Bestway pools does the 58036 name?

The bullets say 3.05 m (10 ft) Steel Pro and Pro Max pools. The title says Steel Pro Max and 10 ft.

Are the 20,207 reviews only about this 10 ft cover?

This file and the 3.66 m Bestway file share the same 4.1 from 20,207 and the same opening reviews, including a 305 cm fit. Do not add the counts.

Does the listing claim any heat benefit?

A bullet says the cover helps keep the pool insulated. The file has no temperature measurement.

Bestway 58037 3.66 m cover

Rank 7

Bestway 58037 3.66 m cover

∼£23

Our view

The Bestway 58037 is the 3.66 m black PVC sheet at about £22.91 and 2 kg in this capture, with built-in rope and drain holes in the bullets. The included-components line names 3.66 m Steel Pro, Steel Pro MAX and Fast Set pools, which is the line you would follow if you order this size, yet one description paragraph on the same listing still says 3.05 m. The 4.1 from 20,207 star line matches the 10 ft ASIN’s review opening, so those texts are not a clean sample proving a 12 ft fit. Reviewers mention algae prevention in marketing language without a measured result. Buy it when your pool is genuinely 3.66 m and you accept the internal size clash on the page. Skip it if you wanted proof from reviews that apply only to this diameter.

Pros

  • Included line names 3.66 m Steel Pro, Pro Max and Fast Set
  • PVC at 2 kg with built-in rope and drain holes
  • About £22.91, slightly below the 10 ft Bestway cover in this capture

Cons

  • A paragraph on the listing says 3.05 m as well as 3.66 m
  • Shared 20,207 reviews with the 10 ft ASIN
  • Review file does not isolate 3.66 m fit stories

Best for: You have a 3.66 m Bestway steel or Fast Set pool and will match the included line, not the conflicting paragraph.

Less suitable: You need review proof for 12 ft only, or your pool is 10 ft on a steel rail.

Common questions

Is this the 10 ft or the 12 ft cover?

The title and the size field say 3.66 m. The included-components line names 3.66 m Steel Pro, Steel Pro MAX and Fast Set. One description paragraph says 3.05 m.

Can the reviews prove the 3.66 m fit?

The opening reviews match the 10 ft file, including a 305 cm perfect-fit line. They are not a separate sample for this size.

What does the listing say about algae?

A bullet says the cover helps prevent algae. There is no measurement in the file.

Sarini 2.65 m x 1.75 m cover

Rank 8

Sarini 2.65 m x 1.75 m cover

∼£19

Our view

Sarini lists a 2.65 m × 1.75 m rectangular cover for inflatable family pools at about £18.99 and 660 g, with bands that pass under the pool and drain holes in a bullet. The star line is 3.8 from 9, and the raw file contains only four UK review texts, one of which reads like feedback on a pool rather than the cover. Reviewers who do discuss the sheet say the elastics are awkward to feed under a pool that is already full, and that fitting is not a one-person job. The title also mentions hot tubs and trampolines, which the technical block does not resolve. Material is not named in the spec, though a review mentions woven plastic. It can work when you sized a small rectangle and can lift the pool edge to route the bands, but the thin evidence base should keep it behind the Intex rectangles with thousands of reviews.

Pros

  • Title and bullet agree on 2.65 m × 1.75 m
  • Under-pool bands and drain holes described
  • 660 g, easier to handle than the 3.28 kg frame cover

Cons

  • Only 9 reviews and four texts in the file
  • UK reviews say under-pool elastics are hard on a full pool
  • Material not stated in the technical block

Best for: You have a small rectangular inflatable near 2.65 m × 1.75 m and two people to fit bands.

Less suitable: You want thousands of UK reviews, or you cannot lift the pool edge to pass straps underneath.

Common questions

How does the Sarini cover fasten?

The bullets say bands go under the pool. Reviews say those elastics are hard to pass under a pool that is already full, and that it is not a one-person job.

What size is it listed for?

The title and a bullet say 2.65 m × 1.75 m rectangular inflatable family pools. The title also names a hot tub and trampolines.

How many reviews are in the raw file?

The star line says 3.8 from 9. The file contains four UK review texts. One of those reads like a review of a pool, not the cover.

Ousinby round PE cover

Rank 9

Ousinby round PE cover

∼£11

Our view

The Ousinby listing is a 270 g polyethylene drawstring cover at about £10.99 with 3.7 from 202 reviews, and the size story on the page is broken. The title says 6 ft, a bullet describes a 280 cm cover for a 244 cm pool and calls it 8 ft, while the size field prints 183 cm. UK reviewers complain that it blows off even when pulled tight, that the material feels very thin, and that the drawstring can break, with one title warning it needs holding down in light wind. The special-features field oddly includes Inflatable even though the bullets describe a flat PE sheet. Without knowing which diameter you are actually getting, you cannot match it to an Easy Set or Steel Pro rim. Treat it as a cautionary listing in this set rather than a savings alternative to Intex.

Pros

  • About £10.99, near the entry band for a round sheet
  • Some positive UK reviews on ease and leaf protection
  • Drawstring PE is easy to fold when it stays on

Cons

  • Title, bullet and size field give three different sizes
  • Wind and drawstring failure themes in UK reviews
  • 270 g and a thin feel compared with branded PVC sheets

Best for: You have measured the delivered sheet and will add weights if it blows off.

Less suitable: You are buying by foot size alone, or you want a named Intex or Bestway fit.

Common questions

Is this a 6 ft or an 8 ft cover?

The title says 6 ft. A bullet says the cover is 280 cm and suits a 244 cm pool, and calls it 8 ft. The size field says 183 cm. The file does not pick one.

What do reviews say about wind?

Reviews say it does not stay on even when tight, that it is very thin, and that the drawstring may break. One title says it needs holding down in light wind.

Does the listing say the cover is inflatable?

The special-features field includes Inflatable. The bullets describe a PE sheet with a drawstring, not an inflatable cover.

Cadoal 8 ft drawstring cover

Rank 10

Cadoal 8 ft drawstring cover

∼£10

Our view

Cadoal sells a blue polyethylene drawstring sheet at about £9.99 and 630 g, with the title calling it 8 ft and a bullet describing a 290 cm sheet for 244 cm / 8 ft pools. The amazon.co.uk line is 3.3 from 116 reviews, which is weaker than the Intex branded sheets at similar money. Multiple UK reviewers say the drawstring will not cinch, so the cover flaps into the pool or lifts in the wind, while a few short positive reviews still praise ease and cleanliness. Drain holes are not stated, and there is no named Intex or Bestway family on the page. It can look like a bargain against the Intex 28020, but the review pattern on the fastening is the reason to prefer the branded rope-tie cover when your pool matches that listing.

Pros

  • About £9.99 with a stated 290 cm sheet for 244 cm pools in a bullet
  • 630 g PE, lighter to store than the 3 kg frame cover
  • Some UK reviewers report an easy fit and cleaner water

Cons

  • 3.3 from 116 reviews, below the Intex options
  • Repeated UK reports that the drawstring does not tighten
  • No named pool family, and drain holes are not stated

Best for: You accept drawstring risk on a generic 8 ft round and will weigh the sheet down if the cord fails.

Less suitable: You want the Intex 28020 fit for an Easy Set, or you need drain holes on the listing.

Common questions

What size does the Cadoal listing claim?

The title says 8 ft. The size field says 290 cm. A bullet says 290 cm / 9.5 ft for 244 cm / 8 ft pools, inflatable or metal frame.

Do reviewers say the drawstring works?

Several UK reviews say the drawstring does not tighten, so the cover flaps into the pool or flies off. Other short reviews say it was easy and kept the pool clean.

Is a storage bag included?

The bullets do not name a bag. Easy storage is a listing question with no answer in the file.

SHYSBV rectangle PE cover

Rank 11

SHYSBV rectangle PE cover

∼£19

Our view

SHYSBV sells a blue PE woven tarpaulin at about £18.99 and 450 g with 2.7 from 19 reviews, and the rectangle on the page is unclear. The title says 221 × 150 cm while the size field and a bullet say 260 × 170 cm. Several of the nine review texts in the file call it a tarp with short strings through loops, saying the holes are too far apart to tie to a frame and that it is not really a pool cover despite the category. A bullet claims solar heat retention, but no temperature is printed. At this price you are paying mid-band money for the lowest star line in the set. Keep it in the comparison as a listing that reviewers reject for fitted pool use, not as a shortcut past the Intex rectangles.

Pros

  • PE woven tarpaulin named in the material field
  • 450 g sheet, light to move
  • Some buyers may still use it as a loose debris barrier

Cons

  • 2.7 from 19, the weakest star line in the set
  • Title and size field print different rectangles
  • UK reviews say short strings and tarp behaviour, not a hem rope

Best for: You measured the tarp and will rig your own tie points on a soft edge.

Less suitable: You want a named pool-family cover with thousands of reviews, or a drawstring Easy Set sheet.

Common questions

Which rectangle is this cover?

The title says 221 × 150 cm. The size field and a bullet say 260 × 170 cm. Both are printed.

Why do reviews say it is not a pool cover?

Several of the nine review texts in the file call it a tarpaulin with short strings, and say the holes are too far apart to tie to a frame.

Does the listing claim it holds heat?

A bullet says it functions as a solar heat-retaining cover. The file has no temperature figure.

How we compared

Eleven amazon.co.uk debris-sheet listings, saved on 19 October 2026, were scored from the review notes kept for this category. This is not a lab test. A star line is not a fit guarantee, and the shared Bestway review file is not counted twice. The highest score is the top pick. Two listings share 88. The award goes to the Intex 28021 for a 10 ft Easy Set. Best value is the Intex 58412, the lower shelf price for a named Swim Centre fit. One of each. In sentences this page says top pick and best value.

1

Amazon evidence

30%

Star rating on amazon.co.uk, with more weight when the count is in the thousands and the texts match that ASIN. A 4.4 from 14,766 outranks a 3.8 from 9. The Bestway 20,207 line is shared between two ASINs and is discounted for size proof.

2

Listing fit

25%

A cover that names one pool family, agrees with itself on shape, and prints a plausible mass scores. A size field that says 25 cm against an 8 ft title, three foot sizes on one page, or a 3.66 m line beside a 3.05 m paragraph does not score here.

3

Review outcome

30%

A sheet that stays on through a season, drains rain, and matches the rim scores. Drawstrings that will not cinch, corners torn by rain weight, tarpaulin complaints, and steel-pole mismatches are deductions.

4

Value

15%

Shelf price in GBP against a named fit you can plan around. This block decides the separate best value badge, not a tie on the headline score.

Pool cover buying guide

Choose the pool family before the foot size, then the size lines on that listing, then how the sheet fastens, then drain holes, and price last. On amazon.co.uk the eleven debris sheets here run from about £9.95 to £72.99, saved on 19 October 2026. A named Intex or Bestway fit is a different object from a light polyethylene drawstring. None of these listings is a safety cover, and none is a bubble solar cover.

What is a pool cover?

A pool cover in this comparison is a debris sheet tied over an above-ground or inflatable garden pool. It keeps out leaves, insects and blown dirt. On amazon.co.uk the usual match is an Intex Easy Set or frame pool, or a Bestway Fast Set or Steel Pro. A solar bubble cover floats on the water and is a different product. A winter debris cover is heavier. Jackson’s Leisure lists one from £39.95 and does not recommend it for an inflatable ring. A safety cover is sold to hold weight.

Best for

  • An Intex Easy Set or Swim Centre, or a Bestway steel rail the listing names
  • A summer debris sheet with a rope hem, when you still empty a paddling pool

Not ideal for

  • A safety barrier, a load-rated cover, or a reason to leave a paddling pool full
  • An in-ground pool, a winter close-down, or a bubble cover that floats on the water

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

Buying on the foot size alone

Easy Set, Fast Set, Steel Pro and a rectangular frame do not share one rim. An 8 ft cover for an inflatable ring can be the wrong object for an 8 ft steel-pole pool. One UK review of the Intex 28020 says it fitted a Bestway Fast Set 8 ft. Another says it was no good for an 8 ft steel-pole pool. Read the family the listing names.

  2. 2

Stretching a tight cover until a corner splits

UK reviews of the Intex 28021 mention a snug fit and two people to spread the sheet. Reviews of the 28038 and the 28039 describe torn corners after a tight fit or after rain weight. If the sheet will not sit without force, it is the wrong size. Do not average conflicting centimetre lines to make it fit.

  3. 3

Calling the sheet a heater or a safety cover

Intex says its covers are not safety covers. RoSPA still wants a paddling pool emptied after use. A bullet that mentions insulation or algae is not a temperature result, and these files have no measured rise. A bubble cover that floats on the water is a different product. Expecting drain holes to block every insect is the same kind of over-claim.

What to weigh up

Pool family and size lines

High

The pool family comes before the foot size. Easy Set, Fast Set, Steel Pro and rectangular frame pools do not share one rim, so an 8 ft label is not a match on its own. The listing should name one family, agree with itself on shape, and print a plausible mass. The Intex 28021 names a 10 ft / 305 cm Easy Set. The Intex 58412 names Swim Centre 56483NP and 56484NP, with a size field of 305 × 183 cm. The Bestway 58036 bullets name 3.05 m Steel Pro and Pro Max pools.

Fixing, rain and price

High

A rope in the hem is the Intex and Bestway pattern on the round sheets that score well here. A drawstring on a light PE sheet often fails to tighten. Cadoal reviews at 3.3 from 116 say the cord will not cinch, so the cover flaps into the pool or lifts in the wind. Ousinby reviews say the sheet blows off even when pulled tight. Straps that must pass under a full pool, as on the Sarini 2.65 m × 1.75 m cover, are a two-person job.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

A 10 ft Easy Set ring

You own an Intex Easy Set around 10 ft / 305 cm and want the cover that listing names. The Intex 28021 at about £12.99 is the top pick: vinyl, rope ties and drain holes in the bullets, 4.4 from 14,766 reviews. The printed weight is not a usable mass. A steel Pro Max rail is a different rim.

A named Swim Centre rectangle

Your pool is an Intex Swim Centre 56483NP or 56484NP. The Intex 58412 at about £9.95 is the best value: PVC at 1.87 kg, 4.4 from 9,265 reviews, and both model numbers in the bullets. Drain holes are not promised. UK reviews mention sag in rain and a fiddly cord.

A 10 ft Bestway steel rail

You have a Bestway 10 ft Steel Pro or Pro Max, not an inflatable ring of the same foot size. The Bestway 58036 at about £23.99 names that rail, with PVC, ropes and drain holes. The 4.1 from 20,207 line is shared with the 3.66 m listing, so do not add the counts.

Common questions about Pool covers

Which pool cover is the top pick for 2026?
The top pick is the Intex 28021 at about £12.99. It is the sheet Intex lists for a 10 ft / 305 cm Easy Set, with vinyl, rope ties and drain holes in the bullets, and 4.4 from 14,766 amazon.co.uk reviews. The larger review file and the named Easy Set fit decide the award. The weight field on that listing is not a usable mass. It is a poor match for a steel-frame rail or a rectangle.
Which pool cover is the best value?
The best value is the Intex 58412 at about £9.95. It is a rectangular PVC sheet at 1.87 kg for Swim Centre models 56483NP and 56484NP, with 4.4 from 9,265 reviews. This award is the lower shelf price for a named rectangular fit. Drain holes are not in the bullets, and UK reviews mention sag in rain and a fiddly cord. It is not the sheet for a round Easy Set.
How much does a pool cover cost on amazon.co.uk?
In this capture, saved on 19 October 2026, most matched brand covers are about £9.95 to £23.99. The Intex 58412 is £9.95, the 8 ft Intex 28020 is £10.34, and the 10 ft Intex 28021 is £12.99. Bestway 10 ft and 3.66 m covers are £23.99 and £22.91. The outlier is the Intex 28038 at £72.99 for a 3 m × 2 m frame. A rule of thumb: a branded 8–12 ft debris cover in this set is usually £10–£25.
Is a pool cover a safety cover?
No. Intex says its covers are not safety covers. RoSPA wants a paddling pool emptied after use, because rain refills it. RLSS UK says that on a larger pool you replace the cover after use. A polyethylene sheet will not hold a child. SPATA says no cover is 100 percent safe. The limits are in the pool cover and child safety guide.
Does an 8 ft pool cover fit every 8 ft pool?
No. Easy Set, Fast Set, Steel Pro and rectangular frame pools do not share one rim. An 8 ft cover for an inflatable ring can be the wrong object for an 8 ft steel-pole pool. One UK review of the Intex 28020 says it fitted a Bestway Fast Set 8 ft. Another says it was no good for an 8 ft steel-pole pool. If the title and the size field disagree, do not average them.
What is the difference between a debris cover and a solar cover?
A debris sheet is tied over the pool. A solar bubble cover floats on the water. This page is the debris-sheet comparison. None of these ASINs is a bubble cover, and none is sold as a safety cover. A bullet on some listings mentions insulation or heat, but these files have no temperature measurement, so this page does not state a temperature rise. The separate comparison is the solar pool cover comparison.
Do drain holes help on a pool cover?
Drain holes stop rain sitting on the cover and tearing a corner. They also let dirt in. The round Intex and Bestway sheets in this set state drain holes in the bullets. The Intex 58412 bullets do not. A UK review of the Intex 8 ft cover describes holes about the size of a ten-pence piece. A review of the Intex 28039 says rain weight pushed the cover down until the corners tore. Holes are a trade-off, not a seal.
Why do two Bestway covers share the same review count?
The Bestway 58036 and the Bestway 58037 both show 4.1 from 20,207, and the raw files share the same opening reviews, including a 305 cm fit comment. Do not add the two counts, and do not treat that file as proof that the 3.66 m cover fits. The 58036 bullets name 3.05 m Steel Pro and Pro Max pools. The 58037 included line names 3.66 m Steel Pro, Pro Max and Fast Set, while one paragraph still says 3.05 m.

Our verdict

The top pick is the Intex 28021 at about £12.99 for a 10 ft / 305 cm Easy Set. It ties on 88 with the rectangular Swim Centre sheet. The larger review file, 4.4 from 14,766, and the named Easy Set fit decide the award. Vinyl, rope ties and drain holes are in the bullets. The printed weight is not a usable mass. The best value is the Intex 58412 at about £9.95, PVC at 1.87 kg, 4.4 from 9,265, for Swim Centre 56483NP and 56484NP. None of these sheets is a safety cover, and a star line is not a fit guarantee.
