Top pick: AOOWU 8-mode watering lance – Highest comparison score, at 4.6 from 114 reviews and about £9.34, with eight named modes and no length stated. Best value: Draper GWSL-S shower lance – Lowest shelf price with a stated 670 mm length and 4.4 from 334 reviews. Updated October 2026.
A watering lance is a garden-hose shaft with a shut-off and a spray head. On amazon.co.uk it is also sold as a watering wand. You use it to reach hanging baskets, window boxes and the back of a border without a ladder.
The choice is reach, telescopic or fixed, a real shower versus a long pattern list, and a thumb lever versus a pistol trigger. A solid body, a dial that clicks home, and a connector that matches your hose matter more than the pattern count. A soft spray does not override a temporary use ban.
For seed trays, the RHS still prefers a [watering can](/hub/garden-watering/watering-can) with a rose.
A short spray gun stays in the hand.

The AOOWU is the £9.34 listing, at 4.6 from 114 amazon.co.uk reviews, with eight named modes and a 180° rotating head. Working length is not stated: the item dimensions are 22 x 12 x 7 cm, and the listing does not call that the shaft. At 280 g, stored UK reviews praise a thumb control you can use one-handed, including one reviewer with one arm, and a shower for pots plus a jet for a birdbath. Several buyers still wanted a few extra inches for higher baskets. No thread size is listed, the bullets only say plug-and-play, and one UK review says it did not fit their usual hosepipe connector. Nozzles clogged quickly in one report, starting with the shower, until about half the patterns were unusable. Notes in German and French about a 1/2 in hose, assembly and leaks are not UK evidence. It is the top pick on the comparison score in this set, and you should skip it when you need a length in centimetres or a named BSP thread.
Pros
£9.34, with 4.6 from 114 amazon.co.uk reviews
Eight named modes and a 180° rotating head
Thumb control that one stored review used one-handed
280 g, with an aluminium core and a TPR grip listed
Cons
No working length in centimetres
No thread size, and one UK review says it did not fit their usual connector
Nozzles clogged until about half the patterns were unusable in one report
Shorter than several buyers hoped for higher baskets
Best for: A low outlay on eight named modes, if you can check the length and the connector on the live listing before you rely on it.
Less suitable: A high basket, or any hose whose thread you need named before you pay.
A working length in centimetres is not in the bullets or the specification block. The item dimensions are 22 x 12 x 7 cm, and the listing does not call that the working length.
Does the AOOWU listing name a hose thread?
No. Thread and inlet connection are not stated. The bullets say plug-and-play. One UK review says it did not fit their usual hosepipe connector.
Does the AOOWU lance include a pet shower mode?
The title includes a pet shower. Shower and mist are among the eight listed modes, and the head is described as rotating through 180°.
The telescopic RESTMO is the only extendable lance in this set, at £33.99 and 540 g, with seven named patterns, a 180° ratcheting head and a pistol trigger that can be locked. The length fields do not agree: the bullets say 95–155 cm, the item highlight says 91–152 cm, the size field says 94 cm, and the item dimensions are 100.5 x 6.5 x 6.5 cm. Across 367 amazon.co.uk reviews at 4.5, and at rank 4 in Garden Hose Wands, buyers use the extra reach on tall baskets, the back of borders, upstairs window boxes and gutters without a ladder. Stored reviews also report leaks from the telescopic joint when the length is changed or the pattern is not fully clicked in, and one unit’s sections blew apart under pressure after about three months. The metal handle feels cold without a foam grip, the flow knob is called pointless because the trigger already sets the flow, and the lock is easy to knock off. One review says the head cannot be angled. It is the shaft to read for a high basket only if you keep those length figures separate and you can accept a sliding joint.
Pros
The only telescopic tube in this set, with seven named patterns
4.5 from 367 reviews, rank 4 in Garden Hose Wands, at 540 g
180° ratcheting head and a lockable pistol trigger
3/4 in BSPP thread stated, and a quick-connection male fitting in the set name
Cons
Length fields disagree: 95–155 cm, 91–152 cm, 94 cm and 100.5 cm dimensions
Leaks at the telescopic joint, and one report of sections blowing apart after about three months
Metal handle feels cold, and the trigger lock is easy to knock off
£33.99 is the highest shelf price in this set
Best for: Tall baskets, upstairs boxes and gutters, if you will not merge the length fields and you can live with a sliding joint.
Less suitable: You want one agreed length, a foam grip, or a shed-friendly shaft that does not leak when you change it.
The bullets say 95–155 cm. The item highlight says 91–152 cm. The size field says 94 cm, and the item dimensions are 100.5 x 6.5 x 6.5 cm. Those figures stay separate.
Can the telescopic RESTMO trigger stay on?
The listing says the pistol-grip trigger can be locked on. A flow-control knob is also listed for pressure on each pattern.
Is the telescopic RESTMO listed for pets?
Yes. The bullets include washing a dog or pet, and Shower is one of the seven named patterns.
The RESTMO hose wand is a 61 cm single-pattern shower at £29.74, and 97 amazon.co.uk reviews sit at 4.5. The bullets describe an aluminium face with 585 drilled nozzles as a soft rainfall, and stored reviews call that a full rose that wets evenly without flattening flowers or shifting compost. The thumb lever is praised as smoother than a squeeze trigger, and the foam grip is what reviewers use for a longer session. At 470 g and 61 cm it reaches baskets you can already get near, and some buyers still wanted more length. There is no second pattern, and head adjustment is not stated on the listing. A front thread on one unit was poorly cut and left a constant side drip, the control was dead on arrival in one report and replaced, and another would not turn off after three months. Reviews, not the specification block, mention two inlet filters. It suits compost you do not want blasted, if you do not need a jet and you can return a fitting that drips from new.
Pros
61 cm single rainfall pattern, with a thumb lever and a foam grip
4.5 from 97 reviews, at 470 g and £29.74
Bullets state a 3/4 in BSP thread
Stored reviews describe an even rose that leaves flowers and compost in place
Cons
Only one pattern, and head adjustment is not stated
61 cm is still short for buyers who wanted more reach
A poorly cut front thread left a constant side drip on one unit
One control was dead on arrival, and another would not turn off after three months
Best for: Bedding, borders and baskets you can already reach, when a soft rose matters more than a jet.
Less suitable: You need a second pattern, a high basket beyond 61 cm, or a verified hole count rather than the listed 585.
How many patterns does the 61 cm RESTMO wand have?
One soft rainfall shower. The listing does not offer a jet or other patterns. The faceplate is described as 585 drilled nozzles.
What thread does the 61 cm RESTMO use?
The bullets state a 3/4 in BSP thread for a standard garden hose. The specification lists a threaded inlet and a BSP outlet at 1.91 cm, and a thread size of 1.905 cm.
Does the 61 cm RESTMO head adjust?
Head adjustment is not stated. Flow is set with a thumb lever. The stated length is 61 cm.
The RESTMO 48 cm lance is £25.99, with seven named patterns and a pistol trigger that can be locked, and 487 amazon.co.uk reviews sit at 4.4. A reviewer says that 48 cm is measured with the head straight out, so it feels shorter in the hand, and the item dimensions are 42 x 9 x 6 cm at a table weight of 500 g. Stored reviews prefer the pistol to a thumb-twist valve and use a lower flow so the jet does not blast young plants, though several still wanted a longer tube and the shaft will not come out for storage. Very small jets clog, one reviewer treats the head as a single-season part, and another says there is only a single rain pattern, which does not match the seven-pattern listing. A plastic hose screw split in frost, a trigger jammed open after one month, and a leak around the rotating head appeared after about three months. The inlet is listed as a 0.75 in female iron pipe with thread type NPT, while the outlet is BSPT. Seller notes in the sample mention a replacement after about six weeks and a fault put right at six months.
Pros
Seven named patterns and a lockable pistol trigger, at £25.99
4.4 from 487 reviews, a larger file than the 94 cm RESTMO
180° ratcheting head, and reviews that report no edge drip in normal use
Table weight 500 g
Cons
48 cm is measured with the head straight out, and dimensions are 42 cm
Small jets clog, and one review says there is only a single rain pattern
Plastic hose screw split in frost, and a trigger jammed open after one month
Inlet thread type is NPT while the outlet is BSPT
Best for: A pistol grip on a short metal shaft, if about 48 cm is already enough and you will not leave it outside in frost.
Less suitable: You need the headline 48 cm as bare tube, a telescopic shaft, or one thread standard on inlet and outlet.
The bullets and the size field say 48 cm. The item dimensions are 42 x 9 x 6 cm. A reviewer says the stated length is measured with the head straight out, so the working length feels shorter.
Can the 48 cm RESTMO trigger be locked?
Yes. The listing describes a pistol-grip trigger that can be locked, plus a flow-control knob for pressure on each pattern.
Is the 48 cm RESTMO listed for pets?
Yes. The bullets include washing a dog or pet, and Shower and Mist are among the seven named patterns.
The Draper GWSL-S is a 670 mm plastic shower lance at £7.19, and across 334 amazon.co.uk reviews at 4.4 people use that length on baskets, pots and allotments without bending to the compost. The only pattern is a shower, and stored reviews call it fine enough for bonsai and pots without shifting compost. Reviewers describe a top rocker that shuts the water off at the handle, which some prefer to a trigger lock, though the specification block does not print that rocker. The inlet is a 12 mm barb, and no 3/4 in BSP size is given. In the same sample the rocker can dribble when set to off, jam after about a month, or leak unless it is held down hard. A review warning, not a manufacturer notice, says the metal tube inside the plastic coating can burst if you leave the lance shut while the hose is still on. At 231 g the head is hard plastic with no rubber bumper, so a drop on a drive is the crack those reviews expect. In this set it is the best value when a single gentle shower and a stated 670 mm are enough.
Pros
670 mm stated in the bullets, at £7.19 and 231 g
4.4 from 334 amazon.co.uk reviews, rank 18 in Garden Hose Wands
Single shower that stored reviews call gentle on pots and bonsai
Reviewers describe a top rocker so you can shut off at the handle
Draper lifetime warranty stated in the bullets
Cons
Only one pattern, so there is no jet
Rocker can dribble, jam after about a month, or leak unless held down
A review says the inner tube can burst if the valve stays shut under hose pressure
12 mm barb, and no 3/4 in BSP size is given
Best for: Baskets and borders you can nearly reach, when a 670 mm shower and a 12 mm barb are enough.
Less suitable: You need a jet, a named 3/4 in BSP thread, or a shaft longer than 670 mm.
The LINZI is an 84.5 cm garden-hose spray gun at £19.99, with eight modes, a 180° rotating head and a stated maximum of 6 bar. Across 164 amazon.co.uk reviews at 4.4, people use that length and the angled head on hanging baskets and pots at ground level, and a reviewer names Shower and Flood among patterns the listing does not name. The one-key control sets volume without holding the outlet switch, and several users report no leaks over weeks of daily use on Hozelock-style connectors. It weighs 530 g. A washer had to be replaced before an initial leak stopped on one unit. Later notes are harsher: the on/off stayed on after one season, and leaks from the thumb-lever area appear after about three months, about 10 months, or after winter storage, with reviewers saying that handle leak is not repairable. One earlier control broke when the gun was dropped off a wall onto concrete. Pattern names are absent from the listing, so you cannot check mist against shower before it arrives.
Pros
84.5 cm stated length at £19.99, with a 180° rotating head
4.4 from 164 reviews, and a 3/4 in male garden-hose thread
One-key flow control, and several reviews report no leaks on Hozelock-style connectors
Maximum pressure listed as 6 bar, at 530 g
Cons
Pattern names are not listed
A washer had to be replaced before one initial leak stopped
On/off failed after a season, and handle leaks appear after months or winter storage
Reviewers say the handle leak is not repairable
Best for: Baskets and ground-level pots when you want about 84.5 cm and a 3/4 in male thread, and you can return a handle that leaks.
Less suitable: You need named spray patterns, a shaft you can shorten for storage, or a control you expect to repair.
The listing states 84.5 cm, and the item dimensions are 84.5 x 6.5 x 6.5 cm.
Does the LINZI listing include a pet shower?
The item highlight includes a pet shower. Eight patterns are listed, but the pattern names are not given. A reviewer names Shower and Flood.
What is the LINZI pressure figure?
Maximum pressure is listed as 6 bar. The inlet is a 3/4 in male garden hose thread. That 6 bar line is a listing maximum, not the Ofwat minimum in the communication pipe.
The RESTMO fixed lance is 94 cm in the bullets at £32.29, and the item dimensions are 91.5 x 6.5 x 6.5 cm, so the two length figures on the same listing are not identical. It weighs 560 g and lists ten named patterns, including Shower and Mist, on a 180° ratcheting head with a thumb slide for high and low. Across 116 amazon.co.uk reviews at 4.4, buyers prefer the metal tube to plastic lances that cracked at the trigger, and they use the reach on raised beds and baskets without stooping. Several wanted another 15 cm or so, because the shaft does not telescope. Hozelock fit is mixed: a brass insert did not mate with a plastic connector until it was swapped. A spray head broke off within about a year in one report, another blocked every other use and stopped in the fourth week, and one unit leaked enough to be returned after two uses. The seller replaced a faulty first delivery in the stored notes. It is the long fixed option when you want one stated length and you can store a shaft that will not shorten.
Pros
94 cm fixed in the bullets, with ten named patterns and a 180° ratcheting head
4.4 from 116 reviews, at 560 g
Thumb slide for on/off and high/low, without a squeeze trigger
Stored reviews praise the reach on raised beds and baskets
Cons
Item dimensions say 91.5 cm, not the same figure as 94 cm
Length is fixed, and several reviewers wanted more reach
Hozelock fit is mixed in the stored reviews
A head broke off within about a year, and another blocked by the fourth week
Best for: Raised beds and baskets when you want a single stated length near 94 cm and a thumb control.
Less suitable: You need the shaft to shorten for a shed, or a connector that mated with your plastic Hozelock fitting in these reviews.
The GRIFEMA GE1305 is listed at £17.57 with eight modes and a 90° rotating head, and the amazon.co.uk line is 4.3 from 1,772 reviews, the largest file in this set. Item dimensions are 47.5 x 7 x 6.8 cm, while reviewers put the working length at about 18 inches, or about 15 cm of tube, and say it is not extendable. Stored reviews praise a thumb control that stays set from a dribble to a jet, and a shower that does not blast compost out of baskets. The pattern list names spray twice, and reviewers say the mist is closer to a shower and that about five settings feel distinct. The inlet is a 0.25 in NPT barb, which is not a BSP garden thread, though reviewers report a fit on a Hozelock-type connector. Leaks from the adjustment handle show up after weeks to about a year, and some bodies shear in two or the end falls off after about six months. One earlier example left outside was ruined by frost. At 300 g it is light, and it is a poor exchange when you bought the word extended for reach.
Pros
4.3 from 1,772 reviews, the largest file in this set
Thumb control that stays set, plus a 90° rotating head
Stored reviews praise a shower that leaves compost in the basket
300 g, with a soft TPR handle listed
Some reviewers report a fit on a Hozelock-type connector, and one notes spare O-rings
Cons
Reviewers call it about 18 inches or about 15 cm of tube, and not extendable
Mist is described as a shower, and about five patterns feel distinct
0.25 in NPT barb, not a BSP garden thread
Leaks, a sheared body, or a fallen end within about a year in stored reviews
Best for: Pots and borders already in reach, if you want a large review file and a thumb control that stays set.
Less suitable: You need a stated length past about 48 cm, a fine mist, or a BSP thread printed on the listing.
The STYDDI is a 45 cm metal lance at £19.99, listed as 18 in in the bullets, and 108 amazon.co.uk reviews sit at 4.0. The listing gives a 180° pivoting head and nine patterns from jet to mist, with a thumb control so you do not hold a trigger. Stored reviews like that lever for long sessions, and some find about 40–46 cm enough for the back of a bed. Many others say the length is fixed and gives little extra reach over a spray gun, and one detailed review says the head will not point straight down. The hose nut often arrives loose and leaks until it is tightened, a washer is added, or PTFE tape is used, and one reviewer says it did not fit their hose. The table weight is 290 g, and one review measured 320 g. The tube is described as easy to bend, and some buyers say it feels plasticky rather than metal. The title says green, while some reviews describe a blue finish.
Pros
45 cm in the title and 18 in in the bullets, with nine patterns from jet to mist
Thumb control, so the trigger does not have to stay held
180° pivoting head for baskets, pots and a car roof
Table weight 290 g, and stored reviews of a fit on common quick-release fittings
Cons
4.0 from 108 reviews, the lowest star line in this set
Fixed length, and reviewers say about 18 in adds little over a spray gun
Connector often leaks until the nut is tightened, a washer is added, or PTFE tape is used
One review says the head will not point straight down, and the tube is called easy to bend
Best for: A metal 45 cm lance with a thumb lever, if the beds are already within that reach and you will reseal the nut.
Less suitable: You need more than about 45 cm, a head that points straight down, or a fitting that is tight from the factory.
The title says 45 cm and the bullets say 18 in. The item dimensions are 46 x 6.9 x 6.9 cm. Reviewers describe it as a fixed length.
Does the STYDDI head pivot?
The listing states a 180° pivoting head. One detailed review says the head will not point straight down.
Are the nine STYDDI patterns named?
No. The listing says nine patterns from a jet to a mist for seedlings, without naming each one. Pet washing is not in the listing.
How we compared
For this comparison we read nine amazon.co.uk watering-lance listings and the public UK sources below. Each score uses the star line, the review count, the stated reach, the spray control, the hose fitting and the shelf price in GBP. Points come off for leaks, a missing length, a thread clash and early failures in the stored review notes. This is not a laboratory test. The live price can move.
1
Reach
30%
High baskets need length. Short shafts in this set sit around 45–48 cm. Longer fixed listings state 84.5 cm and 94 cm. Only one wand claims to telescope, and its length fields disagree.
2
Pattern and control
25%
Reviewers use a shower, or a low setting, so basket compost stays put. A thumb lever holds the flow you set. A lockable trigger is a different control, not a longer shaft.
3
Hose fitting
20%
UK garden taps are commonly 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch BSP. An NPT barb, a missing thread, or a mixed inlet and outlet is a risk you can read before you pay.
4
Review notes
15%
Stars and counts are amazon.co.uk listing figures. Leaks, a sheared body, a clogged head and frost-split connectors stay in the notes for that ASIN.
5
Shelf price

Prices here run from about £7.19 to £33.99 on the listings used for this page. They are not a live re-check and not a market average.

Watering lance buying guide
Choose reach for the basket, then a shower you can actually name, then a connector that matches the hose. Pattern count is the last check, not the first.
What is a watering lance?
A watering lance is a garden-hose shaft with a shut-off and a spray head. On amazon.co.uk the same product is often titled a watering wand or a long-handled spray gun. You use the shaft to reach hanging baskets, window boxes and the back of a border without a ladder. A short spray gun stays in the hand. A lance is the extra length. It is not a pressure washer, and a soft spray does not make a hosepipe legal in a temporary use ban.
Reach is the first cut.
Best for
Hanging baskets and borders you cannot reach with a spray gun in the hand
A soft shower on pots when you do not want compost blasted out
Not ideal for
Seed trays, where the RHS still prefers a can with a rose
A temporary use ban, because a lance is still a hosepipe
Mistakes to avoid
1
Buying on pattern count
A list of eight or ten modes can still feel like one shower. Stored reviews describe some mist settings as closer to a shower, and one 48 cm RESTMO review says there is only a single rain pattern. Read the names, not the number.
2
Merging the telescopic lengths
The RESTMO telescopic wand prints 95–155 cm, 91–152 cm, 94 cm and item dimensions of 100.5 cm. Those are not one length. A sliding joint also shows leaks in the stored reviews when the length is changed.
3
Assuming every click fitting matches
Hozelock fittings cover 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch BSP taps, and 12.5 mm and 15 mm hose. Reviews still describe failed Aquastop springs. GRIFEMA lists NPT, not BSP. The AOOWU listing does not name a thread.
What to weigh up
Reach
High
High baskets, upstairs boxes and gutters need a length you can read on the listing. Short multi-pattern lances here do not add much over a spray gun. STYDDI states 45 cm, and the bullets also say 18 in. GRIFEMA’s item dimensions are 47.5 cm, while reviewers put the working length at about 18 inches or about 15 cm of tube and say it is not extendable. The RESTMO pistol lance states 48 cm, and the item dimensions are 42 cm. The Draper bullets state 670 mm. The RESTMO shower wand states 61 cm.
Pattern and connector
High
The pattern that matters for baskets is a shower, or a low setting, so compost stays in the pot. Draper and the 61 cm RESTMO are single showers. The 61 cm bullets describe 585 drilled nozzles as a soft rainfall. AOOWU names eight modes, including shower, mist and jet. GRIFEMA lists eight, and reviewers say about five feel distinct. STYDDI says nine from jet to mist and does not name them. LINZI says eight and does not name them.
Which option suits you?
Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.
🧺
Hanging baskets
You need height and a soft pattern for baskets, window boxes or gutters. The RESTMO telescopic wand is the only extendable shaft in this set, at about £33.99, with seven named patterns. Keep its length fields separate, and expect a sliding joint.
A spray gun in the hand still leaves you stretching to the back of a border. The RESTMO 94 cm lance is a fixed metal shaft with ten named patterns and a thumb slide, at about £32.29. It will not shorten for the shed.
You want a stated length and a single gentle shower, and you can read the connector first. The Draper GWSL-S is about £7.19, with 670 mm in the bullets and 4.4 from 334 reviews. It has no jet.
The top pick is the AOOWU eight-mode lance, the highest comparison score in this set. On amazon.co.uk it was about £9.34, with 4.6 from 114 reviews, eight named modes and a 180° head. Working length is not stated, and neither is the hose thread. One UK review says it did not fit their usual connector. Skip it when you need a length in centimetres or a named BSP thread before you pay.
Which watering lance is the best value?
The best value is the Draper GWSL-S. It is about £7.19, with 670 mm in the bullets and 4.4 from 334 amazon.co.uk reviews. The only pattern is a shower, on a 12 mm barb, and no 3/4 in BSP size is given. Reviewers describe a top rocker that can dribble or jam. A review warning, not a manufacturer notice, says the inner tube can burst if the lance stays shut on a live hose.
How much does a watering lance cost on amazon.co.uk?
In this set the shelf prices run from about £7.19 to £33.99. Under £12: the Draper at about £7.19 and the AOOWU at about £9.34. About £18–£26: GRIFEMA at about £17.57, STYDDI and LINZI at about £19.99, and the RESTMO 48 cm lance at about £25.99. About £30–£34: the RESTMO shower at about £29.74, the 94 cm RESTMO at about £32.29, and the telescopic RESTMO at about £33.99. These are listing prices, not a live re-check.
What should you check before you buy a watering lance?
Check reach first. High baskets need length, and only one listing here claims to telescope. Then check that a shower is actually named, because a long pattern list can still feel like one shower. A thumb lever holds the flow you set. Match the connector to your hose: 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch BSP is the usual UK tap size, and an NPT barb is a different thread. Those checks are set out in the watering lance buying guide.
Should you buy a telescopic or a fixed watering lance?
Buy the telescopic RESTMO only if you need extra reach and you will keep the length fields separate. The bullets say 95–155 cm, the item highlight says 91–152 cm, the size field says 94 cm, and item dimensions are 100.5 cm. Stored reviews report leaks at the sliding joint. A fixed lance is for one stated length. LINZI states 84.5 cm. The RESTMO metal lance states 94 cm, and its item dimensions say 91.5 cm. Neither shaft shortens.
Does a watering lance count as a hosepipe during a ban?
Yes. A lance is still a hosepipe. A soft spray or a mist setting does not make watering legal during a temporary use ban. GOV.UK’s England note for 2 to 8 October 2026 listed bans for several companies, and Thames Water’s page, updated 12 October 2026, still barred hosepipes for gardens. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland were outside that note. Check your company. What you can still do is in hosepipe ban: what you can still water.
What hose thread should a UK watering lance use?
LINZI states a 3/4 in male thread, the 61 cm RESTMO states 3/4 in BSP, and the telescopic RESTMO states 3/4 in BSPP. GRIFEMA lists a 0.25 in NPT barb, which is not BSP. The 48 cm RESTMO lists an NPT inlet and a BSPT outlet. The AOOWU listing does not name a thread. Call a plumber if a new outside tap is not 1/2 or 3/4 inch BSP, or has no visible double-check protection.
How should you store a watering lance before frost?
Drain it and store it indoors. Frost splits connectors in these reviews, including a plastic hose screw on the 48 cm RESTMO and a GRIFEMA left outside. WaterSafe says not to leave a hose in a pond, bucket or drain, and to disconnect it. Do not leave a thumb lever open on a live tap. A double check valve belongs on the supply, not on the lance. A new lance that leaks is covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Our verdict
The top pick is the AOOWU eight-mode lance: 4.6 from 114 amazon.co.uk reviews at about £9.34, with eight named modes and a 180° head. The listing does not state a working length or a hose thread, so skip it when you need those figures before you pay. For a high basket, read the RESTMO telescopic wand and keep its length fields separate. This is not a laboratory test.
