Pond air pump comparison 2026

The best pond air pumps, compared.

Top pick: FEDOUR 10 W koi pond aerator Best value: Pontec PondoAir Set 450, 6 W – Highest value block: about £29.45 with two stones and 4.6 from 319 reviews. Updated October 2026.

Peter F.
Peter F.Editor

A pond air pump pushes air to a stone so fish and filter bacteria have oxygen. Judge airflow at a realistic depth, whether hose and stones are included, the splash rating, and whether a BS 1363 plug is fitted. Koi need far more air per 1,000 litres than a lightly stocked wildlife pond, on baseline of about 15 L/h per 1,000 litres for a light pond and 200–400 L/h per 1,000 litres for koi. Stocking and depth are in the [pond air pump buying guide](/hub/garden-ponds/pond-air-pump/sub/pond-air-pump-buying-guide).

The best pond air pumps in detail

FEDOUR 10 W koi pond aerator

Rank 1

FEDOUR 10 W koi pond aerator

∼£30

Our view

The FEDOUR 10 W aerator is listed at about £29.97 with 1,200 L/h, 26 kPa and a stated depth of up to 1.8 m for ponds up to 3,000 litres. The box is a four-outlet kit: a manifold, four air stones, four 1.5 m tubes, check valves and spare filter cottons, on 220–240 V. The star line is 5.0, and only three UK reviews sit behind it. Those three call it powerful, well supplied and quiet, with rubber feet, and none of them describes a fault. That sample is too small to treat the rating as a season of use. IPX4 is a splash rating, the file has no decibel figure, and the plug type is not stated. On paper it is a full kit near the Pontec’s price, with a review pile that cannot carry the score.

Pros

  • 1,200 L/h, 26 kPa, stated to 1.8 m
  • Four-outlet kit with stones, 1.5 m tubes and check valves
  • Ponds up to 3,000 litres on the listing
  • About 10 W on 220–240 V

Cons

  • 5.0 rests on three reviews
  • IPX4 is splash protection
  • Plug type is not stated
  • No decibel figure in the file

Best for: You want a four-stone kit aimed at ponds up to 3,000 litres and can accept a three-review sample.

Less suitable: You want a large UK review pile, or a pump housing you can place in the water.

Common questions

Can this listing be used on an outdoor pond?

The bullets say yes: outdoor ponds up to 3,000 litres, water up to 1.8 m, and an IPX4 splash-proof body. IPX4 is not a submersible rating. The file has no decibel figure.

Does the kit include stones and hose?

Yes. The included-components line lists one pump, a four-outlet manifold, four air stones, four 1.5 m tubes, four check valves, suction cups, regulating valves, two T-connectors and two spare filter cottons.

What do the UK reviews say?

Three UK reviews, and a 5.0 rating from 3. They call it powerful, well supplied with accessories and quiet, with rubber feet. None of the three describes a fault.

AQQA air pump with controller

Rank 2

AQQA air pump with controller

∼£34

Our view

The AQQA pump with a controller is about £34.19, and the specification table prints 10 W and 14.82 litres per minute. The bullets also quote 889 L/h or 1,335 L/h, 10 W or 15 W, and ponds up to 2,200 L or 3,800 L. You get nine speeds, a regulator on each of four outlets and a 15-minute feeding pause. The listing is 4.7 from five reviews. Both UK reviews in the file describe a hum, although the title says silent, and one buyer put the pump in a cabinet. There is no IP rating. The included-components field says PUMP, while the bullets list tubing, a manifold, valves and stones. Those clashes, on a five-review sample, are why it sits down the table.

Pros

  • Nine speeds and a 15-minute feeding pause
  • Four outlets, each with a regulator
  • Spec table states 10 W and 14.82 L/min
  • 4.7 from five reviews

Cons

  • Bullets and the table disagree on watts, flow and pond size
  • Both UK reviews in the file describe a hum
  • No IP rating in the file
  • Spec field says PUMP while the bullets claim a kit

Best for: A tank or small pond where you want adjustable speeds and a feeding pause, and a five-review sample is enough.

Less suitable: You need one agreed flow figure, a printed outdoor rating, or a pump that reviewers call quiet beside a living space.

Common questions

What does the controller do?

The bullets say nine airflow speeds, a regulator on each of four outlets, and a feeding pause: hold the plus or minus button for 3 seconds and the pump stops for 15 minutes.

Which output figure is on the specification table?

10 watts and 14.82 litres per minute. The bullets also quote 889 L/h at 10 W and 1,335 L/h at 15 W, with 0.026 MPa or 0.032 MPa, and tanks up to 2,200 L or 3,800 L.

Do the reviews call it silent?

The title says silent. Both UK reviews in the file describe a hum or noise. One buyer put the pump in a cabinet. There is no IP rating in the file.

Blagdon Pond Oxygenator 1800

Rank 3

Blagdon Pond Oxygenator 1800

∼£73

Our view

The Blagdon Pond Oxygenator 1800 is about £72.99 and states 1,800 L/h, six outlets, a maximum depth of 2.2 m and 0.22 bar, for ponds up to 10,000 litres or koi ponds up to 5,000 litres. The box is the pump, a six-outlet fitting and a 5 m cable with no plug. Airline and air stones are sold separately, so the shelf price is the pump only. It scores 4.6 from 476 reviews, and many of the UK reviews praise strong airflow and a quieter run than an older pump. Repeated complaints are the missing hose, stones and plug, a split on the six-way fitting, noise near a fence, and at least one failure inside a year. Wattage is absent from the amazon listing; one review says 16 W. It sits just behind the top pick when your pond is in the koi band on this title, once you add hose, stones and a plug to the budget.

Pros

  • 1,800 L/h, six outlets, 2.2 m and 0.22 bar
  • Title covers ponds to 10,000 litres or koi to 5,000 litres
  • 4.6 from 476 reviews
  • 5 m cable on the listing

Cons

  • Hose, stones and a plug are not in the box
  • Reviews mention a split six-way fitting
  • Noise near a fence and a failure inside a year
  • Wattage is not an amazon specification

Best for: A koi pond up to about 5,000 litres, or a larger fish pond, when you will buy airline and stones separately.

Less suitable: You want stones in the box, a fitted plug, or only a gas-exchange hole on a 2,000 litre wildlife pond.

Common questions

Are airline and air stones in the box?

No. The bullets say air line and air stones are sold separately. The box is the pump, a six-outlet fitting and a 5 m cable with no plug.

What size does the title give?

Ponds up to 10,000 litres, or koi ponds up to 5,000 litres. Stated maximum flow is 1,800 litres per hour, maximum depth 2.2 m and maximum pressure 0.22 bar. Wattage is not on the listing. One review says 16 watts.

What do the UK reviews repeat?

Many praise strong airflow and a quieter run than an older pump, and some mention spare diaphragms. Repeated complaints are the missing hose, stones and plug, a split on the six-way fitting, noise near a fence, and at least one failure inside a year.

Pontec PondoAir Set 450, 6 W

Rank 4

Pontec PondoAir Set 450, 6 W

∼£29

Our view

The Pontec PondoAir Set 450 is listed at about £29.45 with about 6 W and 450 L/h shared across two outlets, and the title includes two air stones. Across 319 amazon.co.uk reviews the line is 4.6, a large sample for a complete kit at this price. Buyers in the UK reviews say no sealed plug is fitted and the lead is short, so you still connect it to an outdoor socket. The listing claims IP44 and also says fully waterproof, while one UK review keeps the unit in a plastic bag and says it is not waterproof. A pond-litre figure is absent from the listing, though one review mentions about 1,800–2,000 litres. It is the best value here because stones are in the box at the lowest price in the set, behind a review count you can actually read.

Pros

  • 450 L/h kit with two air stones at about £29.45
  • 4.6 from 319 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • About 6 W across two outlets
  • IP44 is printed on the listing

Cons

  • UK reviews say no plug is fitted and the lead is short
  • A UK review says the housing is not waterproof
  • No pond-litre figure on the listing
  • Hose length is not stated

Best for: A modest garden pond where you want two stones in the box under £30 and can fit a plug on an existing outdoor supply.

Less suitable: You need a stated litre band on the listing, a housing you can stand in the water, or a pump that arrives with a BS 1363 plug.

Common questions

Does this listing include a plug?

The specification table does not say. UK reviews say no sealed plug is fitted and buyers had to wire one, including onto an outdoor socket.

Is the housing submersible?

The title says an IP44 waterproof housing and a bullet says fully waterproof. IP44 is a splash rating. One UK review keeps the unit in a plastic bag and says it is not waterproof. Another says the IP number means protected use only.

What is in the box?

The title includes two air stones. Reviews also describe airline. Wattage is about 6 W and stated flow is 450 L/h across two outlets. A pond-litre figure is not on the listing.

Blagdon Pond Oxygenator 2400

Rank 5

Blagdon Pond Oxygenator 2400

∼£90

Our view

The Blagdon Pond Oxygenator 2400 is the largest pump in this set at about £89.99, with 20 W, 2,400 L/h, ten outlets and a stated depth of 2.8 m on 230 V. The title covers ponds up to 15,000 litres or koi ponds up to 7,500 litres. You get the pump, a ten-outlet fitting and a 5 m cable with no plug, and hose and stones are extra. It scores 4.4 from 173 reviews. Several UK reviews praise strong, fairly quiet air. Others report a tripped house fuse, a motor that ran and made no air in warm weather, failures after months or about two years, and difficulty running all ten outlets once the stones sank. The listing calls the pump weatherproof and prints no IP code. Choose it when the 1800’s 5,000 litre koi line is smaller than your pond, and treat the ten outlets as a way to share 2,400 L/h.

Pros

  • 20 W, 2,400 L/h, ten outlets, depth 2.8 m
  • Title covers ponds to 15,000 litres or koi to 7,500 litres
  • 230 V and a 5 m cable
  • 4.4 from 173 reviews

Cons

  • Hose, stones and a plug are not included
  • Reviews report a tripped fuse and no air in warm weather
  • Hard to run all ten outlets once stones sank
  • Weatherproof claim with no IP code

Best for: A large pond in the title’s 15,000 litre band, or a koi pond up to 7,500 litres, with airline bought separately.

Less suitable: A standard 2,000 litre pond, or a buy that needs stones in the box and a fitted plug.

Ponds up to 15,000 litres, or koi ponds up to 7,500 litres. Flow is 2,400 litres per hour, depth 2.8 m, power 20 watts, voltage 230 volts. An IP code is not printed. The listing calls the pump weatherproof.

What failed in the UK reviews?

Several praise strong, fairly quiet air. Others report a trip of the house fuse, a motor that ran but made no air in warm weather, failures after months or about two years, noise a neighbour noticed, and difficulty running all ten outlets once stones sank.

Blagdon oxygenator kit, 2 outlets

Rank 6

Blagdon oxygenator kit, 2 outlets

∼£39

Our view

The Blagdon two-outlet oxygenator kit is listed at about £38.79 for standard ponds up to 2,000 litres at 320 L/h, with two hoses and two air stones in the title. It carries 4.3 from 1,998 amazon.co.uk reviews, the deepest sample in this set. Many of the UK reviews call it quiet and say fish were more active in hot weather. The same reviews repeatedly report bare wires, so you fit a three-pin plug yourself, and some buyers found water inside the housing or a unit that stopped. The listing calls it outdoor weatherproof and prints no IP code. A few reviews describe four hoses, which does not match this two-outlet title. It is the top pick here because the stated 2,000 litre kit and that review depth lead the scores.

Pros

  • Titled for standard ponds up to 2,000 litres at 320 L/h
  • Two hoses and two stones in the title
  • 4.3 from 1,998 reviews, the largest sample here
  • UK reviews often call it quiet in hot weather

Cons

  • UK reviews say you fit a three-pin plug
  • Water inside the housing comes up repeatedly
  • Weatherproof claim with no IP code
  • Some reviews describe four hoses, which this title does not

Best for: A standard garden pond around 2,000 litres where you want a complete kit and a large UK review pile, and you can fit a plug.

Less suitable: A koi pond in the 1,800 L/h class, or a buy that must arrive with a fitted plug and a printed IP code.

Common questions

Does this kit include a plug?

The bullets do not mention a plug. UK reviews repeatedly report bare wires and say buyers had to fit a three-pin plug.

What pond size is on the title?

Standard ponds up to 2,000 litres, at 320 litres per hour, with two hose lines and two air stones. Wattage, depth and an IP code are not on this listing. The listing calls it outdoor weatherproof.

What do UK reviews repeat?

Many reviews call it quiet and easy, and say fish were more active in hot weather. Repeated complaints are the missing plug, water inside the housing, units that died, a rattle, and missing or shorter hose and stones. Some reviews describe four hoses, which does not match this two-outlet title.

AQQA 4-outlet air pump

Rank 7

AQQA 4-outlet air pump

∼£43

Our view

The AQQA four-outlet pump is about £42.99. The specification table prints 12 W and 980 L/h, while the bullets also give 18 W and 1,500 L/h for ponds up to 2,200 L or 3,800 L. The star line is 4.2 from 13 reviews. One UK review says it is not waterproof and not suitable as a pond pump. Another UK review praises the airflow and the accessories. A review from Spain calls it very noisy and shaky. The bullets say tubing, a manifold, check valves and stones are included, while the included-components field says only PUMP, and the file has no IP rating and no voltage. That clash, plus a UK review that takes it out of the pond, is why the score sits near the bottom.

Pros

  • Table states 12 W and 980 L/h across four outlets
  • Bullets claim tubing, a manifold, valves and stones
  • 4.2 from 13 reviews
  • One UK review praises the airflow

Cons

  • A UK review says it is not waterproof and not a pond pump
  • Bullets and the table disagree on watts and flow
  • Included-components field says PUMP only
  • A review calls it noisy and shaky

Best for: A tank or hydroponic setup where you have checked this exact listing and can accept a 13-review sample.

Less suitable: An outdoor pond, once you have read the UK review that says the housing is not waterproof.

Common questions

Which wattage is on the specification table?

12 watts and 980 litres per hour. The bullets also give an 18 W and 1,500 L/h pair, and outdoor ponds up to 2,200 L or 3,800 L. There is no IP rating and no voltage.

Do the reviews treat it as a pond pump?

One UK review says it is not waterproof and not suitable as a pond pump. Another UK review praises the airflow and the accessories. A review from Spain calls it very noisy and shaky. The listing count is 13 reviews.

Are hose and stones included?

The bullets say air tubing, a four-outlet manifold, check valves and air stones, and that no extra purchases are needed. The included-components field says only PUMP. Lengths are not stated.

hygger rechargeable air pump, 10 W

Rank 8

hygger rechargeable air pump, 10 W

∼£44

Our view

The hygger HG067-10W-UK is listed at about £43.99 as a 10 W pump with airflow up to 238 GPH at 15 kPa, plus a rechargeable battery and a mains adapter. If 238 GPH is the usual US gallon figure, that is about 901 litres per hour. The bullets say it switches to the battery with no mode change, with a stated 100 hours on the lowest airflow and 8 hours on the highest when tested with one air stone. The box includes tubing, one stone, a check valve and the adapter, and the 10 W line mentions a fish load up to 40 kg for small garden ponds. There is no Customer Reviews line and no IP rating in the file, so you have listing text only. The plug type on the adapter is not stated, and the splitter’s outlet count is missing. It is the only battery backup in this set, which is why the score is above zero, and UK reviews do not yet show it as an outdoor pond pump.

Pros

  • Battery backup stated at 8 to 100 hours depending on airflow
  • Kit includes one stone, tubing, a check valve and an adapter
  • 10 W, up to 238 GPH, 15 kPa
  • Model line is HG067-10W-UK

Cons

  • No customer-review line in the file
  • No IP rating
  • Plug type on the adapter is not stated
  • Splitter outlet count is not stated

Best for: A small pond where you want mains running with a battery fallback and can buy from the listing text alone.

Less suitable: You need a printed outdoor rating, a UK review sample, or a stated litre band for koi.

Common questions

Does this pump run if the mains fails?

The bullets say it switches to the rechargeable battery with no mode change. Stated battery life is 100 hours on the lowest airflow and 8 hours on the highest, tested with one air stone. An LCD shows voltage and battery status.

Is an outdoor rating printed?

No IP rating is in the file. The bullets name small garden ponds, seafood tanks, aquaculture, live-fish transport, and outdoor fishing or vehicle use. Airflow is up to 238 GPH at 15 kPa and 10 W.

Are there UK reviews in the file?

No. There is no Customer Reviews line and no review text, so the star rating and the review count are not on the listing. The model line is HG067-10W-UK, at about £43.99.

How we compared

Eight amazon.co.uk listings were scored on 20 October 2026 from the stored pages and the UK review notes already on file. The score uses the star line, how many reviews sit behind it, whether the listing states a garden-pond job, and what the price buys in the box. A thin review sample cannot outrank a large one on stars alone. Deductions of up to 15 points, for water in the housing, early failure, a bare cable, a split manifold, or a specification the reviews contradict, come off that total. They are not a fifth weight. This is not a laboratory test. The highest score is the top pick. The best price-against-the-box block is best value. Each award is used once.

1

Amazon stars

40%

Amazon rating divided by 5, then multiplied by 40 and rounded. If the review count is under 20, that result is multiplied by 0.4. If there is no rating line, the block is 0.

2

Review depth

25%

0 if there is no rating line, 8 if there are 1–19 reviews, 16 if 20–199, 21 if 200–999, and 25 if there are 1,000 or more. Stars on a handful of reviews do not carry the same weight as a large UK sample.

3

Garden-pond specification

20%

Points for a stated litre band, a depth or pressure figure, a splash or weatherproof claim, and a clear kit or pump-only box. Points come off for conflicting watt lines, no IP code, or a UK review that says the housing is not for a pond.

4

Price against the box

15%

Higher when hose and stones are included at a lower price with a usable review sample. A pump-only listing is not punished twice for stones the title already says are extra.

Pond air pump buying guide

Start with the pond you have, not with watts. A lightly stocked wildlife pond around 2,000 litres and a koi pond of several thousand litres do not share a pump. Then check whether the box contains hose and stones, what depth or pressure is printed, and whether you are plugging into a socket that is already there. The eight listings below are amazon.co.uk diaphragm pumps. They are not filter pumps, and a splash rating is not a submersible rating.

What is a pond air pump?

A pond air pump, often called an oxygenator, pushes air down a hose to a stone or diffuser. The bubbles add oxygen for fish and for the bacteria in a filter, and they make a local current. It does not move the volume of water a filter pump moves, and it is not a fountain. Complete diaphragm kits suit a standard or small pond and include the airline.

Best for

  • A wildlife or goldfish pond around 1,000–2,000 litres with an existing outdoor socket
  • A koi pond of several thousand litres where you will add airline and stones
  • A modest pond where a two-stone kit under £30 is the priority

Not ideal for

  • A tank-only fishkeeper who needs a quiet indoor pump with a fitted plug
  • Anyone who needs the housing to sit in the water
  • A new buried garden circuit, which is a job for an electrician

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

Sizing on watts or free-air litres

Headline litres per hour are usually a maximum. Evolution Aqua’s own table shows output falling at 1 m. A 2,000 litre wildlife pond and a 5,000 litre koi pond are different purchases. Watts do not tell you the air at the stone.

  2. 2

Treating every pond listing as weatherproof

IPX4 and IP44 are splash ratings. One UK review of AQQA B0FPLLXHT7 says the housing is not waterproof. The Blagdon 1800 and 2400 do not include stones, even when the title says pond.

  3. 3

Blocking outlets or walking onto ice

Blagdon’s manual says the pump should run with outlets open, and winter stones no lower than 30 cm from the bottom. The Met Office says never go onto ice to position a stone. A pump in a hollow that floods is a stop, not a placement puzzle.

What to weigh up

Stocking, volume and depth

High

Evolution Aqua’s calculator is a sizing baseline, not a legal minimum. It uses about 15 litres per hour per 1,000 litres for a light ornamental pond, and 200–400 litres per hour per 1,000 litres for koi, with a further 10–20% as their own safety buffer. A 2,000 litre wildlife pond and a 5,000 litre koi pond are different purchases. Headline litres per hour are usually a maximum.

Kit, splash rating and power

High

The Pontec set, the Blagdon two-outlet kit, the FEDOUR and the AQQA listings advertise tubing and stones. The Blagdon 1800 and 2400 do not. UK reviews on those listings say hose and stones are extra, so the shelf price is the pump only. IPX4, which FEDOUR prints and which the Blagdon manual gives the small kit, and IP44 on the Pontec, are splash ratings. They are not permission to stand the pump in the water. The amazon listing for the small Blagdon kit says weatherproof and prints no IP code.

A preformed pond around 1,000–2,000 litres needs a quiet complete kit and an existing outdoor socket. The Blagdon two-outlet kit is the top pick at about £38.79, titled for standard ponds up to 2,000 litres at 320 L/h, with two hoses and two stones, and 4.3 from 1,998 reviews. UK reviews say you fit the plug.

A koi pond of several thousand litres

You want delivered air at depth, spare diaphragms, and often the 1,800 L/h class or higher. The Blagdon Pond Oxygenator 1800 is about £72.99, with 1,800 L/h, six outlets, 2.2 m and 0.22 bar, for koi ponds up to 5,000 litres. Hose, stones and a plug are extra. It is 4.6 from 476 reviews.

A complete kit under £30

The Pontec PondoAir Set 450 is the best value at about £29.45, with about 6 W, 450 L/h and two stones, and 4.6 from 319 reviews. The listing does not state a pond-litre band. UK reviews say no plug is fitted and the lead is short, so you use an existing outdoor supply.

Common questions about pond air pumps

Which pond air pump is the top pick in 2026?
The top pick in this amazon.co.uk set is the Blagdon two-outlet kit at about £38.79. The title states ponds up to 2,000 litres at 320 L/h, with two hoses and two stones, and 4.3 from 1,998 reviews. UK reviews often call it quiet, and they say you fit a three-pin plug. Some buyers found water inside the housing. Use it for a standard pond around 2,000 litres, not a koi pond in the 1,800 L/h class.
Which pond air pump is the best value?
The best value is the Pontec PondoAir Set 450 at about £29.45. It leads the price-against-the-box score: about 6 W, 450 L/h, two air stones, and 4.6 from 319 reviews. UK reviews say no sealed plug is fitted and the lead is short. The listing says IP44 and also fully waterproof. IP44 is a splash rating, and one UK review says the housing is not waterproof. Choose it for two stones under £30 on an existing outdoor supply.
How much does a pond air pump cost?
In this amazon.co.uk snapshot, entry kits are about £29–£35: Pontec at about £29.45, FEDOUR at about £29.97, and the AQQA controller at about £34.19. The Blagdon two-outlet kit is about £38.79. The AQQA four-outlet is about £42.99. The Blagdon 1800 is about £72.99 and the 2400 is about £89.99. Those two are pump-only, so hose and stones cost extra. Re-check the shelf price before you buy.
How do I size airflow for the fish?
Use stocking and volume, not watts. Evolution Aqua’s calculator uses about 15 L/h per 1,000 litres for a light ornamental pond, and 200–400 L/h per 1,000 litres for koi, plus a 10–20% margin. Headline litres per hour are usually a free-air maximum, and output falls at 1 m. Match the stone to the stated depth or pressure. A 2,000 litre wildlife pond and a 5,000 litre koi pond are different pumps.
Do these pumps arrive with a UK plug?
Often they do not. Blagdon’s kit page says the pump is for a fixed outdoor supply and does not include an indoor 13 A plug. UK reviews on the Blagdon pumps and the Pontec say you fit a plug yourself. A fitted plug should be BS 1363 on 230 V. An existing outdoor socket is not the same job as a new circuit or buried cable, which Approved Document P treats as electrical work. Ask an electrician if you cannot confirm an RCD.
Can the pump sit in the pond?
No. IPX4 and IP44 are splash ratings. Blagdon’s manual says stand the pump above the water or fit a check valve on each line. One UK review of the AQQA four-outlet pump says it is not waterproof. The Pontec title says fully waterproof while the printed rating is IP44. Do not treat any pump in this set as submersible. If the housing already has water in it, stop using it.
Will an air pump stop the pond freezing?
An air stone can help keep a small area of open water. It does not keep the whole pond ice-free and warm, and it is not a pond heater. Blagdon’s manual says winter stones should sit no lower than 30 cm from the bottom. The Met Office says never walk onto ice. If you have no outdoor mains socket, compare a solar pond air pump instead of treating these listings as solar.
Is an air pump the same as a pond pump?
No. An air pump moves air to a stone. A pond pump moves water through a filter or a fountain. Size the air pump on delivered air at depth. If fish are gasping in warm weather, aeration is first aid while you test oxygen, ammonia and pH. The Environment Agency’s stillwater note is that air does not by itself clear an ammonia spike.

Our verdict

The top pick for a standard garden pond up to about 2,000 litres is the Blagdon two-outlet kit at about £38.79. The title states 320 L/h with two hoses and two stones, and amazon.co.uk shows 4.3 from 1,998 reviews, the deepest sample here. UK reviews say you fit a three-pin plug, and some buyers found water inside the housing. The best value is the Pontec PondoAir Set 450 at about £29.45, with two stones and 4.6 from 319 reviews, if you can fit a plug and you do not need a litre band on the listing. For koi up to about 5,000 litres, the Blagdon 1800 states 1,800 L/h at 2.2 m, and hose and stones are extra. None of these scores is a laboratory test, and none of these housings is a submersible pump.
