Flush PIR sensor comparison 2026

The best Flush PIR sensors, compared.

Top pick: SEBSON IR_ES_A flush – Largest review sample in the set, 4.5 from 1,819 reviews at about £13.99, for a dry room when you already know the opening. Best value: Sensky BS041 recessed – About £12.99 with a stated 65–70 mm cut-out, when a printed LED wattage is not required. Updated October 2026.

A flush PIR sensor is a mains passive infrared switch that sits in the ceiling and turns a light on when someone moves, then off after a delay. You use one in a hallway, landing, garage or cupboard so the light is not left on. A useful listing states a cut-out, a 3-wire connection (permanent live, neutral and switched live), a lux setting that can stay off by day, and an LED wattage you treat as a maximum. Several rows print 60 Hz, which is not the UK 50 Hz supply. IP20 is a dry room, not a 230 V switch in bathroom zone 1 or 2. The columns are set out in the [flush PIR sensor buying guide](/hub/electronic-surveillance/flush-pir-sensor/sub/flush-pir-sensor-buying-guide). Surface-only and bulkhead lights are outside the category.

The best Flush PIR sensors in detail

SEBSON IR_ES_A flush

Rank 1

SEBSON IR_ES_A flush

∼£14

Our view

The SEBSON IR_ES_A is a flush ceiling PIR listed at about £13.99, with 4.5 from 1,819 amazon.co.uk reviews and a stated 6 m, 360-degree detection. The page allows 600 W of LED or energy-saving lamps and 1,200 W of usual lamps, with a delay from 10 seconds to 15 minutes and lux from 3 to 2,000. The body is Ø75 x 65 mm, white and IP20, so it belongs in a dry hallway, landing or cupboard. The cut-out is not printed, and the frequency cell shows 60 Hz, which is not the UK 50 Hz supply, so you still match the hole yourself and treat voltage as unstated. It is the top pick in this set for a dry room when you already know the opening, because the review sample is the largest here. Skip it if you need a printed cut-out or a head you can aim away from a doorway.

Pros

  • 4.5 from 1,819 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • Flush ceiling, 6 m, 360 degrees, IP20
  • 600 W LED and a delay from 10 seconds to 15 minutes
  • About £13.99 in this comparison

Cons

  • Cut-out is not stated
  • Listing frequency is 60 Hz, not UK 50 Hz
  • IP20, so not a bathroom zone fitting

Best for: A dry hallway or landing where you already know the hole and want the largest review sample in this set.

Less suitable: A printed 63 mm cut-out, a doorway you must aim away from, or a bathroom zone.

Common questions

Is the cut-out size on the listing?

No. The listing gives Ø75 x 65 mm and flush ceiling mounting, and it does not state a cut-out. You match the hole yourself.

What LED load does the listing print?

LED or energy-saving load is 600 W. Usual lamps are 1,200 W. Voltage is not stated, and the frequency cell shows 60 Hz.

Does the listing rate this for a bathroom?

The listing says indoor and IP20. It does not give a bathroom zone rating. IP20 is a dry room.

SEBSON IR_BS_A mini head

Rank 2

SEBSON IR_BS_A mini head

∼£14

Our view

The SEBSON IR_BS_A is a mini flush head listed at about £13.99, with 4.5 from 1,505 reviews. The sensor is Ø18 x 25 mm and the switch body is 56 x 37 x 26 mm, which suits a small opening if the void can take the body behind the head. The stated energy-saving load is 400 W and usual lamps are 800 W, below the 600 W LED line on the larger SEBSON heads. Time is fixed steps of 5 seconds, 30 seconds, 1, 3, 5 or 8 minutes, and lux is only 10 lux or 2,000 lux, so you cannot set a 15-minute delay. The listing prints both 360 degrees and 120 degrees, and the cut-out is blank. It is IP20. Choose it for a small head in a dry room if an 8-minute cap is enough.

Pros

  • Mini head about Ø18 x 25 mm
  • 4.5 from 1,505 reviews at about £13.99
  • Fixed time steps if you want set delays
  • IP20 for a dry room

Cons

  • Timer stops at 8 minutes
  • Lux is only two positions, 10 or 2,000
  • Detection angle is printed as both 360 and 120 degrees
  • Cut-out is not stated

Best for: A small dry-room opening where an 8-minute maximum delay is enough.

Less suitable: A 15-minute WC lag, a stated 63 mm hole, or anyone who needs one clear detection angle.

Common questions

How big is the sensor head?

The listing gives a sensor of Ø18 x 25 mm and a switch body of 56 x 37 x 26 mm. The cut-out is not stated.

Is the timer a continuous dial?

No. Time is fixed steps: 5 seconds, 30 seconds, 1, 3, 5 or 8 minutes. Lux is two positions, 10 lux or 2,000 lux.

Which detection angle is printed?

The bullet says 360 degrees and also a detection angle of 120 degrees. Range is 6 m. The energy-saving load in the highlight is 400 W.

SEBSON IR_ES_E flush

Rank 3

SEBSON IR_ES_E flush

∼£15

Our view

The SEBSON IR_ES_E is listed at about £14.99 with 4.4 from 206 reviews, and it is one of two rows that print a hole: 63–66 mm. Range is 8 m, LED or energy-saving load is 1,000 W, incandescent load is 2,000 W, and the delay runs from 10 seconds to 30 minutes. The body is 75 x 75 x 45 mm. The listing does not give an IP rating and says indoor, and voltage is not stated. A review says there is no sensitivity setting and that detection often waits until you are underneath, which matters at a doorway. One UK review reported a failure inside 12 months. It is the clearer buy when your hole is already in the 63–66 mm band.

Pros

  • Stated cut-out of 63–66 mm
  • 1,000 W LED and a delay up to 30 minutes
  • 8 m range at about £14.99
  • 4.4 from 206 amazon.co.uk reviews

Cons

  • No sensitivity pot, and reviews say it waits until you are under it
  • IP rating is not on the listing
  • Smaller review count than the £13.99 heads
  • One UK review reported a failure inside 12 months

Best for: A dry ceiling already cut, or about to be cut, at 63–66 mm.

Less suitable: A doorway you must steer the lens away from, or a bathroom.

Common questions

What hole does the listing state?

63–66 mm, flush mount, on a body of 75 x 75 x 45 mm. That figure is on the listing, not a review guess.

What LED load is printed?

1,000 W LED or energy-saving, and 2,000 W incandescent. Delay runs from 10 seconds to 30 minutes. That wattage is not an inrush figure.

Is an IP rating on the page?

No. The listing says indoor. Voltage is not stated, and a review says there is no sensitivity setting.

SEBSON IR_ES_D flush or surface

Rank 4

SEBSON IR_ES_D flush or surface

∼£16

Our view

The SEBSON IR_ES_D is listed at about £15.99 with 4.3 from 1,508 reviews, and it is the only unit here that states flush ceiling or surface mounting, with a screw-on adapter in the box. Range is 8 m at 360 degrees, LED load is 600 W, and the delay runs from 10 seconds to 30 minutes, longer than the 15-minute cap on several siblings. The body is Ø79 x 40 mm and 81 g, so the recess is shallow, though the cut-out is not printed. The listing says indoor only and does not state an IP rating or a voltage. The frequency cell prints 60 Hz, which is not UK mains. Use it when the ceiling is solid or the void is too shallow for a deep body, and leave bathroom zones to the wiring rules rather than to this adapter.

Pros

  • Flush or surface, with a screw-on adapter in the box
  • 8 m and a delay up to 30 minutes
  • 4.3 from 1,508 reviews
  • 600 W LED load stated

Cons

  • No IP rating, and indoor only
  • Cut-out is not stated
  • Listing frequency prints 60 Hz

Best for: A solid or shallow ceiling where you may need the surface adapter instead of a deep recess.

Less suitable: A bathroom zone, or a job that needs a printed hole size and an IP figure.

Common questions

Can this one sit on the surface?

The listing says ceiling mounting, flush or surface, with a screw-on adapter in the box. It is the only dual-mount row in this set.

How long can the delay run?

The listing says 10 seconds to 30 minutes, and lux from 3 to 2,000 lux. That is longer than the 15-minute cap on several siblings.

Is an IP rating printed?

No. The listing says indoor only. Voltage and cut-out are also not stated, and the frequency cell prints 60 Hz.

Sensky BS041 recessed

Rank 5

Sensky BS041 recessed

∼£13

Our view

The Sensky BS041 is listed at about £12.99 with 4.3 from 45 reviews, and the opening is printed as 65–70 mm on a recessed body of 76 x 71 x 61 mm. Delay is 10 seconds to 15 minutes and lux is 3 to 2,000, which matches the common window in this set. The listing says dry indoor and that it is not for bathrooms or wet spaces, and it does not print an IP figure, an LED wattage, or a detection range in metres. Forty-five reviews is a thin sample next to the SEBSON heads above 1,000. It is the best value here when the job is a known 65–70 mm hole in a dry room and you can live without a wattage figure. Skip it if the lamp load has to be a number on the page.

Pros

  • About £12.99 with a stated 65–70 mm cut-out
  • 10 seconds to 15 minutes and lux from 3 to 2,000
  • Listing says dry indoor, not bathrooms
  • 4.3 from 45 reviews

Cons

  • LED wattage and range in metres are not stated
  • Only 45 amazon.co.uk reviews
  • No IP rating on the listing

Best for: A dry room with a 65–70 mm opening when price matters more than a printed LED wattage.

Less suitable: A bathroom, a wet space, or a circuit where you need a wattage limit in writing.

Common questions

What opening does the listing give?

65–70 mm, recessed flush ceiling, on a body of 76 x 71 x 61 mm. That is one of two printed holes in this set.

Can it go in a bathroom?

The listing says dry indoor and that it is not intended for bathrooms or wet spaces. No IP rating is printed.

Is an LED wattage printed?

No. The listing says it is compatible with LED and energy-saving lights and does not give a wattage. Range in metres is also not stated.

Zquqwa flush

Rank 6

Zquqwa flush

∼£10

Our view

The Zquqwa flush sensor is the entry price at about £9.99, with 4.3 from only six amazon.co.uk reviews. The title describes an indoor flush ceiling unit, IP20, 6 m, 360 degrees, 300 W LED and 1,200 W incandescent, with 10 seconds to 15 minutes and lux from 3 to 2,000. Item size is 6 x 6 x 2 cm and 80 g, and the cut-out is not stated. One review says it tripped a modern consumer unit, which is a serious limit on a sample this small. Voltage is not stated. It is not the best value in this comparison, because about £12.99 buys a stated hole and a larger, still modest, review count on the Sensky. Buy the Zquqwa only if you accept six reviews and a trip report.

Pros

  • About £9.99, the lowest shelf price in this set
  • IP20, 6 m, and a 300 W LED figure printed
  • 3-wire indoor flush form

Cons

  • Only six amazon.co.uk reviews
  • One review says it tripped the consumer unit
  • Cut-out is not stated
  • 300 W is the lowest LED cap in the set

Best for: A dry-room trial only if you accept a six-review sample and a report that it tripped a consumer unit.

Less suitable: Any circuit you cannot easily reset, a known hole size, or a lamp load above 300 W LED.

How many reviews are on the listing?

4.3 from 6 reviews. One review says it tripped a modern consumer unit. That is a small sample for a trip report.

Is a cut-out given?

No. Item dimensions are 6 x 6 x 2 cm and weight is 80 g. The title says recessed flush mounted and indoor.

SEBSON IR_ES_B swivelling

Rank 7

SEBSON IR_ES_B swivelling

∼£18

Our view

The SEBSON IR_ES_B is the swivelling flush sensor in this set, listed at about £17.99 with 4.2 from 1,394 reviews. The listing calls it silver, IP20 and 360 degrees, with range written as 8 m and also 3–8 m, plus a 600 W LED load. Delay runs from 10 seconds to 15 minutes, and reviewers describe a third sensitivity control. The body is Ø85 x 60 mm, but the cut-out is not printed. A review guessed about 70 mm, which is not a listing figure. One review reported a bit over 100 V AC across open relay contacts, so treat that as a buyer report, not a laboratory result. It is the listing to aim away from a doorway in a dry room, and a poor match if you need the hole size on the page.

Pros

  • Built-in swivel so you can aim the lens
  • 4.2 from 1,394 reviews
  • Reviewers describe a sensitivity control
  • 600 W LED, IP20, range given as 3–8 m

Cons

  • Cut-out is not stated
  • About £17.99, above the £13.99 heads
  • One review reported over 100 V AC on open contacts

Best for: A dry room where a doorway would otherwise trigger the light and you can swivel the head.

Less suitable: A known 63 mm hole you must match from the listing, or a buyer who wants the cheapest IP20 head.

Common questions

Does this sensor swivel?

Yes. The listing calls it a swivelling built-in ceiling sensor, silver, IP20, with range written as 3–8 m. It is the swivel head in this set.

Is a cut-out printed?

No. Dimensions are Ø85 x 60 mm. A review guessed about 70 mm. That figure is not on the listing.

What load is stated for LEDs?

600 W LED or energy-saving, and 1,200 W incandescent. It is a switch. Box contents beyond the sensor are not stated.

SEBSON IR_ES_C small flush

Rank 8

SEBSON IR_ES_C small flush

∼£15

Our view

The SEBSON IR_ES_C is a small flush body listed at about £14.99, with 4.2 from 376 reviews, at 50 mm diameter by 66 mm height and 57 g. Stated range is 6 m at 360 degrees, LED load is 400 W, and usual lamps are 800 W, with 10 seconds to 15 minutes and lux from 3 to 2,000. It is indoor IP20 and 3-wire. The cut-out is not on the listing. A review used a 40–42 mm hole saw, which you should not treat as the official opening. A review also says there is no sensitivity setting, and notes on this model include stuck-on behaviour. The smaller sample is a real limit next to the heads with more than 1,000 reviews. It fits a tighter dry ceiling if 400 W is enough.

Pros

  • Compact body, 50 mm diameter by 66 mm height
  • 400 W LED and a stated 6 m range
  • Lux from 3 to 2,000 and time up to 15 minutes
  • Indoor IP20 printed on the listing

Cons

  • Cut-out is not stated
  • A review says there is no sensitivity setting
  • 376 reviews, with stuck-on behaviour reported

Best for: A dry ceiling where a smaller body than the 75 mm head is the point and 400 W covers the lamps.

Less suitable: A stated 63–66 mm hole, or a doorway you need to desensitise.

SEBSON IR_ES_FA IP54

Rank 9

SEBSON IR_ES_FA IP54

∼£22

Our view

The SEBSON IR_ES_FA is the dearest row at about £21.99, with 3.7 from 19 reviews. One bullet says indoor and outdoor and IP54, while another field says indoor use, so the place claim is split. Range is 6 m and programmable from 2 to 6 m, with sensitivity and duration on the listing, a 1,000 W LED load, and a delay from 10 seconds to 15 minutes. Mounting height is given as 2.2 to 4 m. Dimensions and the cut-out are not stated. Two UK reviews say the timer did not follow the adjustment. A line about breathing or small seated movements is a seller claim, not a proven presence test. IP54 is not a bathroom-zone approval. Leave it unless you specifically want the only IP54 claim in the set and can accept 19 reviews.

Pros

  • IP54, with a programmable range of 2 to 6 m
  • 1,000 W LED load stated
  • Sensitivity, range and duration appear on the listing

Cons

  • 3.7 from only 19 reviews
  • Two UK reviews say the timer did not follow the setting
  • Cut-out is not stated
  • Indoor-and-outdoor wording conflicts with an indoor field

Best for: A covered outdoor or damp-adjacent recess where you want the only IP54 claim in this set and can check the timer on arrival.

Less suitable: A bathroom zone, a buyer who needs the timer to match the dial, or anyone who wants a stated cut-out.

Common questions

Is this the outdoor unit in the set?

One bullet says indoor and outdoor and IP54. Another listing field says indoor use. Mounting height is 2.2 to 4 m. The cut-out is not stated. IP54 is not a bathroom-zone approval.

What range can you set?

The listing says 6 m, programmable from 2 to 6 m, with sensitivity, range and duration. LED load is 1,000 W. That wattage is not a downlight count.

Does the listing prove presence detection?

The bullet claims breathing and small seated movements. That is a seller line, not a proven presence test. The page has 3.7 from 19 reviews, and two UK reviews say the time setting did not work.

How we compared

Nine amazon.co.uk flush PIR listings were read from the stored pages. Stars, review counts and shelf prices are those listings. There was no laboratory test. The SEBSON IR_ES_A is the top pick: 4.5 from 1,819 reviews at about £13.99, for a dry room when you already know the opening. The Sensky BS041 is best value at about £12.99 with a stated 65–70 mm cut-out. The weights below sum to 100.

1

Cut-out and void

25%

A printed opening that matches the ceiling scores more clearly than a body size alone. A reviewer’s hole-saw guess is not the listing figure.

2

Three-wire connection

20%

Every kept listing is 3-wire: permanent live, neutral and switched live. A blank voltage, or 60 Hz printed against UK 50 Hz mains, is noted and not treated as a confirmed supply.

3

Room and IP rating

20%

IP20, or a dry-indoor line, stays in a dry room. IP54 is recorded as printed. Neither figure is treated as approval for bathroom zone 1 or 2.

4

Time, lux and LED load

20%

Delay and lux windows are taken from the listing. A printed LED wattage is a maximum on the page, not an inrush figure and not a downlight count.

5

Review evidence and price

15%

amazon.co.uk stars and review counts on that listing, set against the GBP shelf price. A file of six or 19 reviews cannot carry the same weight as more than a thousand.

Flush PIR sensor buying guide

Match the hole, the three conductors and the room before you compare wattages. These nine amazon.co.uk listings are recessed PIR switches, from about £9.99 to about £21.99. The top pick is the SEBSON IR_ES_A at about £13.99. Best value is the Sensky BS041 at about £12.99. Prices are the shelf figures stored with the listings. This page is not a laboratory test.

What is a flush PIR sensor?

A flush PIR sensor is a mains passive infrared switch that sits in a ceiling and turns a light on when someone moves, then off after a delay. In this comparison it is a recessed unit. Surface-only PIRs and bulkhead lights are outside the category. You fit one in a hallway, landing, garage or cupboard so the light is not left on. A useful listing has a cut-out that matches the ceiling, a 3-wire connection, a lux setting that can stay off by day, and an LED wattage you treat as a maximum.

Best for

  • A hallway, landing, garage or cupboard with a neutral at the rose
  • A dry ceiling where the cut-out is already known

Not ideal for

  • A bathroom zone 1 or 2, where an ordinary 230 V switch is the wrong fitting
  • A 2-wire switch drop with no neutral

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

Reading 6 m as the diameter of the room

The range on these listings is a stated detection distance, not a room diameter you can draw on a plan. The IR_ES_A says 6 m. The IR_ES_E says 8 m. The IR_ES_FA says 2 to 6 m. A doorway at the edge of that figure can still switch the light. The IR_ES_B is the row with a swivel if you need to aim the lens away.

Fitting an IP20 head in a shower zone

IP20 is a dry room. Sensky says the BS041 is not for bathrooms or wet spaces. The IR_ES_FA’s IP54 claim is not approval for zone 1 or 2, and one field on that listing still says indoor. Section 701 bars ordinary 230 V switches in those zones. A pull-cord is the usual exception. Reviews that fitted a dry-room head in a bathroom do not change the zone rule.

Treating LED watts or 60 Hz as the UK supply

A printed LED figure, from 300 W to 1,000 W in this set, is a maximum on the page. It is not inrush, and it is not a count of downlights. The Lighting Industry Association notes that LED inrush can damage PIR contacts. Several rows print 60 Hz. UK mains are 50 Hz. Where voltage is blank, leave it blank. Do not put switched live on neutral.

What to weigh up

Cut-out, void and three conductors

High

The first check is the hole and the cable, not the star rating. Only two listings in this set print an opening: the SEBSON IR_ES_E at 63–66 mm and the Sensky BS041 at 65–70 mm. The other seven leave the cut-out blank. A body size, such as Ø75 x 65 mm on the IR_ES_A or 50 mm by 66 mm on the IR_ES_C, is not the saw size. A reviewer’s 40–42 mm hole, or a guessed 70 mm, stays a review. Trade sheets outside the table use about 63–64 mm, or 73–75 mm with a void around 95 mm.

Room, timer, lux and LED load

High

IP20, or a line that says dry indoor, belongs in a hallway, landing, garage or cupboard. Sensky says the BS041 is not for bathrooms, and it prints no IP code. The IR_ES_FA is the only IP54 claim, at about £21.99, with 3.7 from 19 reviews. One bullet says indoor and outdoor. Another field says indoor. Two UK reviews say the timer did not follow the adjustment. IP54 is not approval for bathroom zone 1 or 2.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

A dry hallway you already measured

You want the largest review sample for a dry landing or cupboard, and you already know the hole. The SEBSON IR_ES_A is about £13.99, with 4.5 from 1,819 reviews, 6 m and IP20. The cut-out is not printed, and the frequency cell shows 60 Hz.

A known 65–70 mm hole

You want a stated opening more than a printed LED wattage. The Sensky BS041 is about £12.99, with 4.3 from 45 reviews and a 65–70 mm cut-out. The listing says dry indoor, not bathrooms, and it does not give a range in metres.

A solid or shallow ceiling

You may need a surface adapter because the void is too shallow for a deep body. The SEBSON IR_ES_D is about £15.99, with 4.3 from 1,508 reviews, and the box includes a screw-on adapter. The cut-out and the IP rating are not stated.

Common questions about Flush PIR sensors

Which flush PIR sensor is the top pick in 2026?
The top pick is the SEBSON IR_ES_A, about £13.99 on amazon.co.uk, with 4.5 from 1,819 reviews. It is a flush ceiling PIR for a dry room when you already know the opening: 6 m, 360 degrees, IP20, and 600 W of LED or energy-saving lamps. The cut-out is not printed, and the frequency cell shows 60 Hz, which is not the UK 50 Hz supply. That reading is the listing, not a laboratory test.
Which flush PIR sensor is best value?
Best value is the Sensky BS041 at about £12.99, with 4.3 from 45 reviews. The opening is printed as 65–70 mm and the delay runs from 10 seconds to 15 minutes. The listing says dry indoor, not bathrooms, and it does not print an LED wattage or a range in metres. Forty-five reviews is a thin sample next to the larger SEBSON files. Choose it when the hole is known and a wattage figure is not required.
How much does a flush PIR sensor cost?
In these nine amazon.co.uk listings, shelf prices run from about £9.99 for the Zquqwa to about £21.99 for the SEBSON IR_ES_FA. The mid band is about £12.99 to £17.99, including the top pick at about £13.99 and the Sensky at about £12.99. Trade flush units such as a Danlers CEFL sit higher, about £41 to £57 including VAT, and they are not in this table. Prices are the shelf figures stored with the listings, in GBP.
What cut-out does a flush PIR sensor need?
Not one size. In this set only the SEBSON IR_ES_E prints 63–66 mm and the Sensky BS041 prints 65–70 mm. The other listings give a body size and leave the cut-out blank. A review that used a 40–42 mm hole saw, or guessed about 70 mm, is not the listing. Trade sheets outside this table use about 63–64 mm, or 73–75 mm with a deeper void. Measure the ceiling, and do not cut a joist.
Can I fit a flush PIR sensor in a bathroom?
Not from these listings, if the point is in zone 1 or 2. IP20 is a dry room. Sensky says the BS041 is not for bathrooms. The IR_ES_FA claims IP54, which is still not approval for those zones. Section 701 bars ordinary 230 V switches there. A pull-cord is the usual exception. Zone sizes and the Part P point are on the flush PIR sensor bathroom page. Call a competent person for a bath or shower location.
Does a flush PIR sensor need a neutral?
Every listing kept here is 3-wire: permanent live, neutral and switched live. A wall-switch drop often has no neutral. The ceiling rose usually does. If you cannot identify the three conductors, stop. Putting switched live on neutral is a common mistake, and a 2-wire loop is not this set. In England, other lighting work still has to meet BS 7671 even when it is not notifiable under Approved Document P. Scotland and Northern Ireland differ.
Why do some listings say 60 Hz?
UK mains are 230 V at 50 Hz. Danlers and Autenco, on trade units outside this table, specify 220–240 V AC at 50 Hz. Several rows here print 60 Hz, and several leave voltage blank. Do not treat 60 Hz as the UK supply, and do not copy a voltage from a neighbouring model. A printed LED wattage is a maximum on the page. LED inrush can damage PIR contacts, so that figure is not a count of downlights.
When should I call an electrician, or look at a presence detector?
Call a competent person for a new circuit, for work in a bath or shower space, if the three conductors are unclear, or if the device trips the RCD. Disconnect the sensor before an insulation test. A flush PIR turns a light on when someone moves. If you need detection of a person who is sitting still, that is a different product, covered in the presence detector comparison. This page did not laboratory-test any unit.

Our verdict

The top pick is the SEBSON IR_ES_A at about £13.99, with 4.5 from 1,819 amazon.co.uk reviews, for a dry room when you already know the opening. The cut-out is not printed, and the listing frequency is 60 Hz, which is not UK mains. Best value is the Sensky BS041 at about £12.99, with a stated 65–70 mm cut-out and 4.3 from 45 reviews, and no LED wattage on the page. None of these scores is a laboratory test, and an IP20 head is not a bathroom-zone approval.
