How this short list was scored

Each score weighs amazon.co.uk stars, the review sample, whether the listing is a usable drill, and the price. It is not a lab test. None of these listings states a vibration figure. A 5.0 from three reviews cannot outrank a 4.4 from more than two thousand, because the sample is part of the score. Fit covers a stated hammer, a battery in the box, and a page that contradicts itself. The highest score here is 88. The next complete hammer kit scores 84. Torque, bare tools and the 21 V badge are on the buying guide.

The top pick in this set

The top pick is the Ginour CD1308, B0DHGTKGBH, at about £55.99, score 88. The star line is 4.4 from 2,216 reviews. The bullets name two 2.0 Ah batteries, a stated 50 Nm, a 10 mm keyless metal chuck, and impact drilling for masonry. UK reviews describe shed building, brick and a tidy case. A 2022 UK review says battery life was still good after 1.5 years. Skip it if you need one speed figure: a field says 2,600 rpm, while the bullets say 0–450 and 0–1,450 rpm. Wood capacity is listed as 6 mm beside the 50 Nm bullet. UK reviews say the screwdriver bits wore out on first use. The Makita 18 V line is seller copy, not a checked fit.

Best value, and the drills without a hammer

The best value is the LEEIKOO hammer drill, B0DCB85FNV, at about £32.20, score 84, 4.5 from 216 reviews. The bullets name two 2.0 Ah batteries, 45 Nm, a 10 mm chuck, and screw, drill and hammer modes. One UK review says it drilled a wall with ease. The included-components field says drill attachment only. The title says 20+3 and the bullets say 20 positions. Wood capacity is printed as 1 inch. Without a hammer, look at the LEEIKOO at about £25.23 (4.5 from 291, one battery, 45 Nm), the BETENST at about £25.99 (4.5 from 309; a UK review says it struggled on a 2x4), and the CEEIGOO at about £36.99, whose warm tip says there is no hammer mode. That limit is on the masonry page.

When a dearer body is the right skip

The WORX WX355.1 at about £89.00 scores 83, 4.7 from 228 reviews, with 55 Nm, a 13 mm chuck and one 2.0 Ah battery in the highlight. Choose it over the Ginour if you own Worx PowerShare and want that chuck. Skip it for two batteries. Weight is 950 g in the table and 1.35 kg with the battery. The Bosch GSB 18V-65 kit at about £199.98 scores 66, with two 5.0 Ah packs named and only three reviews. One review calls the packs 4.0 Ah. The bullets do not state a hammer, and torque is 55 Nm and 65 Nm. The bare GSB at about £84.99 and the WORX Nitro at about £208.15 have no battery. Buy a bare body only if that platform is already on the shelf. Brushless versus brushed does not change which row fits the wall.

Common questions

Which listing has the highest score in this set, and why?
The Ginour CD1308 at about £55.99 scores 88. The line is 4.4 from 2,216 reviews, with two 2.0 Ah batteries and a stated hammer. It is not a lab crown. The rpm lines still disagree between 2,600 rpm and 1,450 rpm.
Which listing is the best value, and what does that leave out?
The LEEIKOO hammer kit at about £32.20, score 84, 4.5 from 216 reviews. The included-components field does not list the two batteries the bullets name. There is no shared platform, and wood capacity is in inches.
Who should buy the Worx WX355.1 instead of the Ginour?
Buy the WX355.1 at about £89.00 for Worx PowerShare, a 13 mm chuck and 4.7 from 228 reviews. It has one 2.0 Ah battery, not two. Choose the Ginour for the larger sample and a second pack.
Is the Bosch kit with a 5.0 from three reviews the best Bosch?
No. The about £199.98 kit includes two 5.0 Ah packs, and three reviews are too few. The bare body at about £84.99 is the same GSB 18V-65 without a battery. Both show 55 Nm and 65 Nm, and the bullets do not state a hammer.
Which bodies are bare, and what do you still have to buy?
The Bosch GSB body at about £84.99 is the drill and an L-BOXX. The WORX Nitro at about £208.15 is the body and an 8 mm masonry bit. Neither includes a battery or a charger. You still need a Bosch Professional 18 V or Worx PowerShare pack.
Who should skip the Worx Nitro at £208.15?
Skip it without Worx packs, or if you want a battery in the box. Several UK reviews describe a breakdown within a month, a failed rotation switch, and a warranty process they found useless. Other UK reviews praise it on brick. The 50% runtime line is seller copy.
