Karcher drain cleaning hose fit for K2–K7 guns

Updated: 17 October 2026

A Karcher drain cleaning hose normally connects to the trigger gun in place of the spray lance, not directly to the pressure-washer pump. That distinction explains why a listing can say K2–K7 yet still generate conflicting K4 reviews: the exact gun and adapter matter. Dry-fit every connection with the washer switched off before you put the nozzle into a drain. Once compatibility is clear, the [drain cleaning hose comparison](/hub/tools/drain-cleaning-hose) shows the saved amazon.co.uk lengths, nozzles and prices. The hose goes on the gun, not the pump

Kärcher's current PC 15 uses a bayonet connection and is listed for K2 to K7 machines. The drain hose replaces the lance at the gun, so matching the washer's model family is only the start; you also need the gun generation and the correct bayonet. Examine the connection already used by your lance and compare its locating tabs, depth and seal with the supplied adapter. Make the first fit dry. Isolate the washer, remove the lance according to its instructions and engage the drain-hose adapter by hand. It should locate and lock without cutting brass, filing plastic or using enough force to damage the gun. If it stops short, rocks in the socket or leaves the O-ring exposed, do not use water pressure to finish the connection.

The K4 line that disagrees with itself

The black StoneBanks 10 m B07ZB26WN1 and 15 m B07ZB2J462 listings are the clearest compatibility warning in this set. Their titles include K4 within a K2–K7 range, while a bullet says the hose is not compatible with K4 and names K2, K3, K5, K6 and K7 instead. Saved reviews include both successful and unsuccessful fits. One review says a K4 fitted at the lance position on the gun. Other buyers report that a K4 or K5 did not fit. Different guns or adapters can explain both accounts. A single success does not override the contradictory copy, and the exclusion bullet does not prove that every K4 fails. The two black lengths also share one 4.4-star, 2,114-review pool. At the saved prices the 10 m hose is £21.25 and the 15 m hose £25.51. Treat both K4 claims as unresolved, dry-fit the adapter and never cut a fitting. The pressure washer drain hose buying guide covers length and nozzle once the gun is settled.

Kits that name K2–K7 without a K4 exclusion

STYDDI B082M52JD6 names Kärcher K2–K7 and Lavor, with no saved K4 exclusion. A review reports a K4 fit. The kit is 15 m with two nozzle patterns at £28.87, and its 4.4-star line comes from 1,140 reviews on that listing. That is stronger than one anecdote, but it does not guarantee every K4 gun revision. OHAYORI B0D1V7FRFB also names K2–K7 and includes Lavor and Bosch AQT adapters. Saved reviews mention K4, K5, K6 and K7. At £24.99 it is relevant if the adapter locks. Kinking and coil memory remain separate complaints. DANCINGBOAR's 10 m B0GXYFD222 names K2–K7, although one reviewer reports leakage. The corner kit B0GYPKMYPY conflicts over whether the hose is 15 m or 10 m. Aimisite has conflicting length fields and seven reviews; one RUHUHUR review says it did not work on that buyer's K2; HuaCommerce is 30 m with 16 reviews. A printed range is a shortlist signal, not the final check. Our best drain cleaning hose guide sets out the conditional picks.

Old guns, Bosch, Lavor and Nilfisk

Kärcher's international PC 15 information says trigger guns from before 2010 identified as M, 96 and 97 need Adapter M, part 2.643-950.0. That note applies to Kärcher's system. It does not prove a marketplace kit contains Adapter M. Identify an older gun before you order. Bosch and Lavor are separate claims. STYDDI names Lavor. OHAYORI names Lavor and Bosch AQT after 2013. An adapter in the box still has to match the exact gun. Nilfisk uses another bayonet. Nilfisk B0001P0BPI, part 6410766, is the direct 15 m option for supported Nilfisk washers, at a saved £39.12. A separate ALKA adaptor can let some Nilfisk guns accept Kärcher accessories, but it is not in these Amazon kits. Do not cut a brass fitting to force a bayonet. After the dry fit, follow our how to use a drain cleaning hose guide.

Common questions

Do K2 to K7 guns all share one drain-hose fit?
Kärcher lists its current PC 15 bayonet accessory for K2–K7, but third-party compatibility depends on the supplied adapter and the gun generation. Marketplace titles are not universal guarantees. Compare the existing lance connection, confirm any model-year restriction and dry-fit the adapter with the washer isolated.
Why does StoneBanks say not compatible with K4?
The saved StoneBanks copy is internally inconsistent: the title includes K4, while a bullet excludes it. Reviews report both fitting and non-fitting guns. Treat the black 10 m and 15 m products as unresolved for K4 until the exact adapter locks correctly; their shared review pool does not settle the issue.
Will STYDDI or OHAYORI fit a K4?
Both listings name K2–K7 without the StoneBanks K4 exclusion, and saved reviews report K4 use. That is useful evidence, not a guarantee for every gun revision. STYDDI is £28.87 and OHAYORI £24.99 in the saved data; confirm the adapter before comparing their other features.
What if my Kärcher gun is from before 2010?
Kärcher says older trigger guns identified as M, 96 and 97 need Adapter M, part 2.643-950.0, for its PC 15 system. Do not assume a third-party kit includes that part. Identify the gun and ask for explicit confirmation of the adapter before ordering.
Does the hose connect to the pump?
Normally it replaces the spray lance at the trigger gun. The gun-side bayonet is therefore the connection to compare. Follow the washer and accessory instructions for your model, and do not connect a drain hose directly to an unlisted pump outlet or high-pressure port.
Can I use a Kärcher-style kit on Nilfisk?
Not without a separately documented adapter. Nilfisk's 15 m cleaner uses its own bayonet, and the marketplace Kärcher kits do not claim a standard Nilfisk fit. A separate ALKA adaptor exists for certain combinations, but it is not included here and must match the exact gun and accessory.
What should I do if the adapter almost fits but leaks?
Switch off, isolate the water and release pressure according to the washer instructions. Check that the adapter and O-ring are the specified parts and are undamaged. Do not force, file or cut the fitting. Return or replace an incompatible kit rather than relying on pressure to hold a partial connection.
