Bestway pool vacuum buying guide

Updated: 21 October 2026

You have an above-ground pool in the garden, a filter already running at the side, and a search result called a Bestway pool vacuum that might be any of five tools. The useful order is the mechanism, then the printed size, then the power you already own. Star averages come after that. This Bestway pool vacuum buying guide uses the amazon.co.uk shelf prices and review lines in our files dated 19 October 2026. The Products Compared editorial team compared those listings and Bestway's UK pages. We did not run a lab test. The ASIN matrix is on the [Bestway pool vacuum comparison](/hub/swimming-pools/bestway-pool-vacuum). A qualifying purchase through our links can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Four Bestway tools, not one

The same brand name covers a pump kit, a bare head, a garden-hose kit, a battery stick, and a robot. Buying the title without the mechanism is how a net ends up in the trolley when you wanted suction. The Aqua Pristine 58212 (B0CDXPY4H3) is the pump kit at £44.99, rated 3.6 from 1,374. Suction is the filter pump. Bestway's manual does not call the head cordless. The Aqua Clean 58282, at £16.92, is only that sort of head. The pole is not in the box. The Flowclear 58013 attaches to a garden hose. UK reviews keep the skimmer net and call the floor head weak. The sticks do not use the pump, and neither raw file has a United Kingdom review body. The G100 at £151.20 states 30 minutes and 18 square metres. The G150 at £95.93 does not state a runtime or a size.

Match the printed pool limit

Each listing that prints a size uses a different unit, so measure the pool before you treat above ground as a fit. The Aqua Pristine stops at 4.57 metres. A ring wider than that is outside the claim even if the pump is strong. The Flowclear kit stops at 3.96 metres. The 58771 claims up to 6.10 metres, and the 58649 claims the same length as 610 cm. The day-to-day difference is the bin: 0.27 litres against 0.54 litres. The G100 is a flat above-ground floor up to 18 square metres. Bestway UK says it is not for steel-wall pools. One UK review reports use on a steel-wall oval anyway. That report is not approval. The G150 listing has no diameter.

What must already be in the garden

A pump vacuum is only as strong as the filter you already own. The Aqua Pristine manual sets the floor at 2,006 litres per hour. Below that, UK reviews describe weak suction. You need the hose full of water, the debris bag fitted, and nobody in the pool while that pump runs. The 230 V row on the listing is not a motor inside the head. A stick or a robot does not need that flow rate. Outdoor chargers want an RCD of not more than 30 mA. That reduces shock risk and does not remove it. The G100's certified 5 V adaptor is not included, the port must be dry, and filtration should be off while the robot runs.

What to buy for the usual above-ground pool

Take a flat pool of about 12 to 15 feet, the size UK reviewers actually name. If you will not stand there with a pole, the floor is flat, the area is within 18 square metres, and the wall is not a steel wall you need Bestway to approve, the G100 is the listing that states the job. The raw-file price is £151.20, with 4.4 from 268 reviews. The limit is about 30 minutes, then a charge of 2.5 to 4.5 hours. If the pump label shows at least 2,006 litres per hour and the pool is within 4.57 metres, the Aqua Pristine at £44.99 is the complete kit. If you only want floating leaves off a pool up to 3.96 metres, buy the Flowclear as a net. First-run steps are on how to use a Bestway pool vacuum.

Common questions

Which Bestway vacuum works if I already have a filter pump?
The Aqua Pristine 58212 is the kit for a filter pump of at least 2,006 litres per hour on an above-ground pool up to 4.57 metres. You fill the hose with water, fit the bag, and steer the head. The G100 manual wants filtration switched off while the robot runs, so the filter is not its power source.
Is the Aqua Pristine cordless?
Bestway's manual and the Bestway UK page describe a head that connects to a filter pump. No battery is listed in the box we used. Follow the manual. If a seller's title says battery and the steps say attach the hose to the filter, the steps are the product.
What fits a pool larger than 4.57 m?
The Aqua Pristine claim stops at 4.57 metres. The G100 claim is a flat floor up to 18 square metres. The 58771 stick claims up to 6.10 metres, though that listing has no UK review text in our file. The Flowclear kit stops at 3.96 metres. The G150 states no size. Measure before you buy.
Can I put a G100 in a steel-wall pool?
Bestway UK says the G100 is not compatible with steel-wall pools. One UK review describes use on a steel-wall oval. A single review does not cancel the maker's exclusion. If the wall is steel, a stick or a pump head you steer is the route that does not carry that warning.
Is the cheap Flowclear kit a real vacuum?
UK reviews describe a garden hose and a net, not hoover suction. Reviewers praise the skimmer for floating bits and call the floor head weak. The listing is 4.0 from 7,556 ratings at £23.99, for pools up to 3.96 metres. Buy it when a net is the job.
