Best wall hose holder
Updated: October 2026
A sort by stars puts a 5.0 from one review, and another 5.0 from three, above pools of more than a thousand. That is the wrong order for a best wall hose holder. This page says who each deep-pool listing is for, and who should skip it. It does not reteach drilling, and it does not crown a crank reel. Prices are on the [wall hose holders](/hub/garden-watering/wall-hose-holder) comparison. Products Compared read the amazon.co.uk listings on 16 October 2026. There is no laboratory test. A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

How this pick is made
Count the reviews before the stars. Six listings have a pool you can argue with: SMARYONG at 4.6 from 1,192, brackit at 4.4 from 1,168, GARTOL at 4.4 from 1,082, the Josmimic alloy saddle at 4.6 from 582, the Josmimic SS304 hanger at 4.5 from 175, and Navoys at 4.3 from 189. Three do not: ZHABAYEN at 5.0 from 3, Ghligna at 5.0 from 1, and HUIQIHANG with no review line. The second check is what the page states. brackit pairs 50 m with 1/2 inch and 20 kg. GARTOL states 125 ft and two loads. SMARYONG states 150 ft and no load. The SS304 title names a grade and no hose length. Navoys states an expandable range and is a tap hook. The top pick, if you want the lowest price among the large pools and you will ignore the word reel, is the SMARYONG hook at £8.28. Skip it if you need a crank, a named grade, or drywall anchors in exterior brick.
Deep review pools
GARTOL, B07XC5JGBD, at £12.10, claims 125 ft (38.10 m) and prints both 165 lb (74.84 kg) and 125 lb (56.70 kg). Reviewers who bring 5 cm screws are content, including one EV lead. Packet screws are short for exterior brick, the metal flexes under a wrapped 50 ft hose, and the keyholes do not sit flat on an overlapping fence. Do not average the two loads.
The Josmimic alloy saddle, B0CR35Q4T7, at £13.99, has a nozzle groove and a stated load of only 20 lb (9.07 kg). The title lists 100, 110, and 150 ft, and the specification picks none. The bullet and the components line disagree on the screws. Open it for the groove on concrete. Skip it if you need one length.
B0DGPZG3NC, at £15.99, is the only SS304 title. It is a grade choice, not the top pick. If the coiling is the problem, the hose hanger versus hose reel page is the exit.
The £6.48 tap hook
Navoys, B0F1Z3NYXM, is the best value when the hose is expandable and hangs loosely on the tap. It is £6.48, iron, for 25 ft (7.62 m) to 100 ft (30.48 m). The box is the holder only. It is not the pick for a reinforced hose on brick. That case is on the expandable hose wall holder page.
Ratings that cannot rank
ZHABAYEN, B0H2GQ65QD, is 5.0 from three reviews at £10.99. The bullet names Q235 steel, a nozzle groove, a lower hook, 50 lb (22.68 kg), and 150 ft, with a drill and about three minutes. Two reviews call it sturdy and neither measures a hose. Ghligna, B0H19XFNHR, is two saddles at £18.99, 5.0 from one review, with no length or load. HUIQIHANG, B0H6M89T4G, is £8.99, a 15 lb claim, two screws, and no review line, and the metal descriptions disagree. Leave all three off the rank.
Common questions
Which listing has the deepest review pool?
SMARYONG, at 4.6 from 1,192 reviews and £8.28. brackit has 1,168 and GARTOL 1,082. Some SMARYONG reviews are not from the United Kingdom, so the star line is not a pure UK sample. It is still the deepest pool, and the top pick only if you coil by hand and replace the drywall anchors.
Who should buy the brackit frame?
You, if the hose is about 1/2 inch and you want the stated 50 m when the bracket is hung high, and you will discard the 3 cm screws. The stated load is 20 kg. Skip it if 15 m is already your limit, or if you need a stainless grade written on the page.
Who should buy the SMARYONG hook despite the reel title?
You, if you want the lowest price among the large pools and you accept a hook. UK reviews cite 30 m, 100 ft of stainless hose, and a 150 ft hosepipe. There is no crank and no stated load. A 150 ft expandable hose was a poor fit in one review. The anchors are for drywall, not brick.
Is the £15.99 SS304 holder the top pick?
No. It is the only named SS304 listing, 4.5 from 175 reviews, with a 20 lb claim and no stated length. One review cites 70 m and another about 30 m of reinforced hose. That is a grade choice. The top pick stays the SMARYONG hook unless the missing grade is your reason to leave it.
Why ignore a 5.0?
Ghligna’s 5.0 is one review and ZHABAYEN’s is three. Sorting by stars puts them above 1,192 reviews at 4.6. The Ghligna text tells you to choose fixings for the wall. It cannot describe a second winter with a 30 m hose, so it cannot set the rank.
Is Navoys the pick for an expandable hose?
Yes, in this set, for a loose hang on a tap the opening fits. It is the best value at £6.48, not a wall frame. One misfit, one quick-rust comment, and a sticker are already on the listing. There is no adaptor if the pipework is too thick. Do not wrap that hose on a saddle.
