Best Gardena hose for a UK garden

Updated: 22 October 2026

You searched for the best Gardena hose and amazon.co.uk answered with seven 13 mm listings, a star line, and a bar number. Best on this page means a job you can name: a short cheap coil, a long hose on a reel, or the top of Gardena’s Original ladder. Each job excludes the others. The prices, from £17.81 to £79.99, stay on the [Gardena hose comparison](/hub/garden-watering/gardena-hose). How to order the questions first is on the [Gardena hose buying guide](/hub/garden-watering/gardena-hose/sub/gardena-hose-buying-guide). Peter F. compared the amazon.co.uk listings on 21 October 2026, plus Gardena’s UK Original page and the stored review texts. There was no lab test. Our top picks

On this page

The strongest rating in this set is the 10 m Comfort Flex

The Comfort Flex 13 mm, 10 m, article 18030-20, leads this set on amazon.co.uk stars: 4.7 from 5,318 reviews, at £17.81, listed at 1 kg. The bullets say the hose can be used up to a water pressure of 25 bar, and they state a 20-year guarantee. The title says without parts. The scope line is one hose. Take it when the walk sits inside about 10 m and you will add a tap connector and a 13 mm hose connector. A square cut for a pressed end is only a clause on how to fit a Gardena hose. Leave this row if the garden needs 20 m or more, or if you need a nozzle in the same carton. A high rating on a short hose does not stretch the hose.

Gardena’s own top of the Original range is SuperFLEX

Premium SuperFLEX 13 mm, 30 m, article 18096-20, is the hose Gardena places at the top of the Original ladder in this set. The UK page pairs that family with 35 bar and 30 years after registration. The amazon.co.uk title says 35 bar burst pressure and names Power Grip. The price is £69.99. The rating is 4.5 from 1,250 reviews. The bullets do not list a connector, and UK reviews say the piece in the photograph was absent. Which? names a Gardena Hose Premium Superflex 20 m, tested in March 2022, with 146 g per metre and a 30-year guarantee on the public line. The scores sit behind a login, so this page does not quote a Which? score. The public lengths are 20 m, 25 m and 50 m. They are not this 30 m ASIN. The listing weight here is 1.45 kg. Stored reviews split: some report little knotting, others report kinks. Buy this row if you want Gardena’s highest burst step at 30 m and you will add fittings. Skip it if you need a kink-free promise or a complete set. Reach and the meaning of 35 bar are on Gardena hose length and pressure.

The 50 m HighFLEX is the long-reel pick, not a small-garden pick

Comfort HighFLEX 13 mm, 50 m, article 18066-20, is the long hose in this set: £79.99, 4.6 from 5,093 reviews, 30 bar burst on the title, Power Grip named, scope line one hose. The item weight is 6.69 kg. On price per stated metre it is the lowest here, about £1.60, against about £1.78 on the 10 m. That is why it is the best value line if the criterion is pounds per stated metre on a long run. The listing does not print a warranty year. Stored reviews on both HighFLEX files include kink complaints, so the 30 bar title is not a limp-hose promise. Take the 50 m when the walk is genuinely long and the hose will live on a reel you can pull. A balcony, a courtyard, or a ten-metre patio should leave it. The 20 m HighFLEX at £57.88 (4.6 from 860 reviews, 1.32 kg) is the shorter HighFLEX if the live title confirms 20 m against a 200 cm field. It is still hose-only.

Liano Life is the best of these only if you want textile and will check the carton

Liano Life is the best of these seven when you want a textile sheath, you will coil by hand, and you accept 22 bar burst rather than the 30 or 35 bar spiral ladder. Gardena’s UK Liano page states 15 years after registration and “up to 50 percent lighter” as its own claim. The amazon.co.uk weights do not prove that claim. Power Grip is not stated on the Liano bullets. The 15 m, article 18445-20, is £39.98, 4.4 from 1,048 reviews, listed at 1.8 kg. The included line is the hose, the title says the package may vary, and the warranty line says 2 year manufacturer. Gardena’s own page for that article number is a set. Read the live bullet before you assume connectors. The 25 m at £45.58, 4.4 from 392 reviews and 2.84 kg, is hose-only with no warranty year on the listing. In a stored sample of 21 reviews, one says the textile cover parted at the seam. That is one review, not a pattern. The 30 m at £55.76, 4.3 from 419 reviews and 3.25 kg, is the longest Liano here, still 22 bar and still hose-only, with one stored review of an unexplained leak. If none of those conditions is yours, go back to the seven prices before you order. A 19 mm Gardena hose is not a row here.

Common questions

Which listing has the best amazon.co.uk rating here?
The 10 m Comfort Flex, at 4.7 from 5,318 reviews. The 50 m HighFLEX is close on stars, 4.6 from 5,093, and it costs £79.99. The table score follows stars and review count. It does not add metres, fittings, or a lab result. Use the 4.7 line when 10 m is enough. Ignore it as a reason to under-buy length.
Who should leave the 10 m Comfort Flex on the shelf?
Leave it if the furthest bed needs more than about 10 m, including slack for a reel. Leave it if you expected a tap connector in the box. The title says without parts. The rating describes the hose people received at that length. It does not describe a 30 m or 50 m garden.
Is SuperFLEX the hose Gardena ranks highest, and do the reviews agree?
On Gardena’s UK Original page, SuperFLEX is the top step in this set: 35 bar and 30 years after registration. The 30 m listing is £69.99 and 4.5 from 1,250 reviews. Stored texts both praise the hose and complain of kinks, and they say the photo’s connector was missing. Which? has not published a score here for this 30 m ASIN. The public Superflex line is other lengths.
When is the 50 m HighFLEX the sensible spend?
It is the sensible spend when you will use most of 50 m and you can store 6.69 kg on a reel. At £79.99 it is the highest cash price and the lowest price per stated metre in the set. The listing has no warranty year. A balcony or a small garden should skip it and look at 10 m or 15 m instead.
When is Liano the better best?
Liano is the better pick when hand coiling matters more than the 35 bar SuperFLEX step, and you will check the carton. The 15 m is £39.98 with a “package may vary” title. The 25 m is £45.58 and the 30 m is £55.76, both hose-only at 22 bar burst. Gardena’s weight claim stays theirs. One seam comment in 21 stored reviews on the 25 m is a single report.
Did Which? test the 30 m SuperFLEX in this set?
The public Which? line names Gardena Hose Premium Superflex 20 m, tested in March 2022, and lists 20 m, 25 m and 50 m. It does not identify this 30 m ASIN, and the scores are behind a login. We do not treat that article as a score for article 18096-20. The 1.45 kg field on our listing stays a printed weight, separate from their 146 g per metre line.
