Kopp Paris flush socket: frames are a second order

Updated: 23 October 2026

You want the glossy Kopp Paris plate on a continental back box. A Kopp Paris flush socket here is an IP20 insert, 16 A at 250 V, and the cover frame is separate from the insert price. The single, model 923502087, is about £4.08. The six-pack, model 920702011, is about £18.31. Both are amazon.co.uk prices on 20 October 2026. Neither takes a UK three-pin plug. Start with the [Kopp socket buying guide UK](/hub/sockets-and-extension-leads/kopp-sockets/sub/kopp-sockets-buying-guide). Pack versus single is the [best Kopp socket](/hub/sockets-and-extension-leads/kopp-sockets/sub/kopp-sockets-best) page, and every price is on the [Kopp sockets comparison](/hub/sockets-and-extension-leads/kopp-sockets). We did not fit frames. A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

What is actually in the two listings

The single is one arctic white insert, about 5.7 by 5.7 cm and 70 g, IP20, 4.7 from 95 ratings, with CE stated and Germany as the origin. Plug types C, E and F are named on this ASIN only. The contents line is the earthing-contact socket, and the frame for one to four compartments is a separate order. The six-pack is six flush inserts, colour field Arktis, IP20, 16 A, 4.8 from 802 ratings. That is the top pick when you need several dry-room inserts. The included-components line is blank, and 9.07 g is not a usable weight. Other Paris colours are not separate ASINs here. If the wall gets splashed, leave this page.

The frame is the rest of the price

About £4.08 is honest when the frame is already on the wall. A bare back box is a second order. The six-pack does not say whether frames are included. At about £3.05 an insert it beats six singles only on the inserts. One-to-four-gang frames are not one six-gang plate. One review of the single says a defective thread stopped the frame screw. Exchange that insert. A paper-bag packing story does not match this one-gang ASIN. Check the gloss before you fit the faces.

IP20, and the rooms the bullets name

IP20 is indoor protection. The six-pack bullets still name a bathroom. A dry living room or dry kitchen on a continental flush box matches the rating. A UK bathroom zone under BS 7671 does not. A wet cellar is a Kopp Nautic IP44 job. Outdoor use is unanswered on the listing. Plug types C, E and F, named on the single, do not include a BS 1363 plug. If the property is UK-wired, Paris is the wrong family.

Terminals, screws, and what reviewers actually found

Reviewers of the six-pack describe screwless terminals that hold and release. The repeated fault is a soft fixing screw that strips. There is no torque figure in the file. The single’s written sample is thin: many of 25 blocks have no body, against 802 ratings on the pack. Use the pack for a room, and the single when you already own the frame. Flush work is still BS 7671. Stop if you cannot identify the circuit or the back box will not take the module.

Common questions

Is the cover frame included with the single Paris socket?
No. The bullet on model 923502087 says the cover frame for one to four compartments must be ordered separately. The contents line is the earthing-contact socket. A shut lid is not what that bullet means. This insert has no hinged lid in the listing.
Does the six-pack include frames?
The listing does not say. Unit count is six inserts, model 920702011, at about £18.31, and the included-components line is blank in our file. Price the frames as an extra until a contents list says otherwise. Six inserts are not one six-gang frame.
Can I use a Paris socket in a bathroom?
The six-pack bullets mention a bathroom. The IP rating on the same listing is IP20, which is not splash protection. A bathroom zone under BS 7671 needs the right accessory and circuit, not a gloss insert with a room name in the marketing. For splash, look at a Nautic IP44 box only if the plugs and the wiring are already continental.
What is IP20 enough for?
Dry indoor rooms on a compatible flush box: a living room, a dry kitchen, a dry cellar. It is not enough for a garage wall that gets wet, a porch in the rain, or a zone beside a bath. Outdoor use is unanswered on the listing.
Are the screwless terminals reliable?
Reviewers of the six-pack say the terminals hold the conductor and can be released again, and that plugs sit firmly. The repeated complaint is not the terminal. It is soft fixing screws that strip. The single does not describe its terminals in the attribute table, so do not assume the same mechanism without looking at the insert.
Which colours can I order here?
This set has arctic white on the single and Arktis on the six-pack colour field. Bullets say Paris exists in four colours. Those other colours are not separate ASINs in our comparison. Order this pack for the white or Arktis finish it shows, not for a colour the bullet only mentions.
Do type C, E and F plugs all fit?
The single listing says its compatible devices use plug type C, E or F. That is the line to trust for B0CTMZDC9J. A UK three-pin plug is not in that list. The six-pack does not repeat the C, E and F line in our file, though it is the same Paris protective-contact family.
