Einhell table saw buying guide

Updated: 21 October 2026

You have four Einhell titles on amazon.co.uk at £99.95, £126.00, £269.04 and £347.67. This Einhell table saw buying guide puts them in the order that changes what you take home: how thick the board is, whether a stand is in the box, and whether two Power X-Change packs are already charged. The [Einhell table saw comparison](/hub/power-saws/einhell-table-saw) holds the scored cards. This page is the sequence. It does not teach the first rip, and it does not diagnose a crooked scale. Peter F. wrote this on 19 October 2026 from those listings, Einhell’s UK pages, the TC-TS 8 I datasheet and a Conrad retailer sheet. It is not a lab test. Four listings, one job

A blade comes up through a table, a rip fence sets the width, and an angle stop handles the mitre. None of these four has a sliding carriage on the Einhell pages that were opened. The TC-TS 2025/2 U, article 4340490, is the corded stand saw. The title includes a metal base frame, the listing size is 113.5 × 89.6 × 87 cm, and the weight is 19.2 kg. The bullets give up to 2,000 W, a 250 mm blade with 24 teeth, and a one-hand height and angle adjustment. Einhell’s UK page lists S1 1,800 W, S6 2,000 W and 5,000 rpm. Amazon’s captured price is £126.00, with 4.3 from 4,675 ratings. The TC-TS 8 I, article 4340412, is the compact corded saw: an 800 W induction motor, a push stick and a carbide blade, at 10.2 kg and 50.5 × 37.3 × 33 cm, with no stand named, at £99.95 and 4.1 from 2,825 ratings. The TE-TS 36/210 Li-Solo, article 4340450, is the cordless body at £269.04 and 4.6 from 394 ratings. Two batteries are required, and neither they nor a charger is in the box. The kit title at £347.67 adds 2 × 4 Ah and a twin charger, with 5.0 from 4 ratings and a components line that says only Battery.

How thick a cut you can state

State the height from a document, and say which document. Einhell’s English datasheet for the TC-TS 8 I lists a maximum cutting height of 45 mm at 90° and 27 mm at 45°. The blade is Ø200 × Ø16 mm with 24 teeth. Amazon’s tooth field says 35. Buy on the datasheet. Several UK reviews say the height does not move, and one of those reviews names a TC-TS 200, so that file is not a clean sample of this ASIN alone. A 20 mm floorboard can sit inside 45 mm. A 50 mm fence post cannot. The stand saw’s bullets describe a 2-in-1 height and angle adjustment and do not print a millimetre height. Conrad’s retailer sheet for article 4340490 lists 85 mm at 90°, 65 mm at 45°, and a continuous height adjustment of 0–85 mm. That is a retailer sheet, not a sentence on einhell.co.uk. Einhell’s UK page lists 5,000 rpm and does not list a soft start, so do not copy one onto the TC-TS 2025/2 U. The TE-TS 36/210 datasheet gives 70 mm at 90° and 45 mm at 45°, at 3,800 rpm. Ignore the listing speed of 500 rpm and the blade-length field of 30 mm.

Fence, dust, and the socket

Einhell’s bullets call the parallel stop precise. UK reviews on both corded saws say the scale is out. On the stand saw the word fence appears in 17 of 50 UK review chunks, and buyers describe a scale a few millimetres out. On the TC-TS 8 I it appears in 12 of 50, and buyers call the scales inaccurate stickers. The sticker is not the measurement. The check is on Einhell table saw fence not square. Dust is a separate disappointment on the stand saw. UK reviews say a household vacuum leaves dust on the floor, and one buyer names a 20 litre wet and dry vacuum as the minimum they would use. At work, the Health and Safety Executive names a class M vacuum for wood dust. A householder is not that employer. The stand saw’s voltage field says 240 V. Einhell splits the motor into S1 1,800 W and S6 2,000 W, so 2,000 W is not a continuous rating. One review reports a breaker trip on start. That is one report, not a rule that you must fit a 16 A circuit.

Which listing for which person

If you want one corded saw with a stand and a height adjustment the bullets mention, the TC-TS 2025/2 U at £126.00 is the listing. You will assemble it from instructions that many UK reviews call poor, vague or mirrored, and you will square the fence. The best Einhell table saw page stays on that pick and on who should skip it. If you want the lowest price and you can lift 10.2 kg onto a bench for skirting and light straight cuts, the TC-TS 8 I at £99.95 is the other corded choice. The datasheet’s 45 mm and 27 mm are the heights you can cite. Do not buy it for a deep rip you planned to set with a crank. The highlight says ±60° and the bullets say ±45°. Trust the bullets and the datasheet. If you already own two Power X-Change packs of at least 2.5 Ah, which is the size Einhell’s datasheet recommends, the TE-TS 36/210 body is the cordless saw. £269.04 does not switch on. Four ratings are not a reason to prefer the kit over 394 reviews on the body. That trade-off is on Einhell cordless or corded table saw. Skip all four if the cut is steel, if a guard or riving knife is missing on a saw an employee will use, or if the day is full sheets on a sliding carriage these models do not have.

Common questions

Which Einhell table saw if you only buy one?
For a first stand saw in a UK garage, with a socket nearby, the TC-TS 2025/2 U at £126.00 is the listing in this set with a metal stand, a stated height adjustment, and 4.3 from 4,675 reviews. You still square the fence yourself. If the only work is light skirting and you want to spend £99.95, the TC-TS 8 I is the cheaper bench, with a datasheet height of 45 mm at 90° and reviews that say the blade does not rise. One saw is the wrong question if you do not yet know the thickest board.
Is the TC-TS 8 I enough for 20 mm boards?
Twenty millimetres sits inside the 45 mm at 90° on Einhell’s datasheet for article 4340412, and inside 27 mm at 45°. UK reviews use this saw for floor and skirting when the duty stays light. They also say the blade height does not adjust, so you cannot raise it for a thicker piece later. The datasheet says 200 mm and 24 teeth, against an Amazon tooth field of 35.
Does the stand saw raise the blade, and to what height?
The bullets say you adjust height and angle with one hand. They do not give millimetres. Einhell’s UK extract that was used also omits a millimetre height. Conrad’s sheet for the same article, 4340490, lists 85 mm at 90°, 65 mm at 45°, and a continuous adjustment of 0–85 mm. Cite Conrad for those figures. Do not cite them as Einhell’s own product sentence, and do not add a soft start that Einhell’s page does not list.
Why is the cordless saw £269 and still not ready to cut?
The TE-TS 36/210 Li-Solo price of £269.04 is the saw body. The listing says two lithium-ion batteries are required, and the battery and charger are not included. Einhell’s page for article 4340450 says the same: no batteries and no charger in the box. A title that says 18 V still means two 18 V packs, which is how this saw reaches 36 V. The kit ASIN is a different price and a thin rating file.
Does 2,000 W mean it needs more than a 13 A socket?
Einhell splits the stand saw into S1 1,800 W and S6 2,000 W, so the 2,000 W bullet is not a continuous load. The Amazon voltage field says 240 V, and one UK review describes a 3-pin plug. One review also says start-up tripped breakers. That is a single report. It is not evidence that you must install a 16 A supply. If the breaker in your garage already trips on other motors, try the saw on a circuit that is not shared with a second heavy load.
Will the printed fence scale be right on day one?
Plan for it to be wrong until you check it. UK reviews on both corded saws say the scale or the fence is out, and buyers use a rule. One stand-saw review measured about 10 degrees of tilt error at the zero stop. Cordless reviews say the fence can be locked out of square. Einhell’s “precise” wording is a bullet, not a measured error in millimetres from a lab.
Is a sliding carriage included on any of the four?
No. Einhell’s pages for these articles do not list a sliding carriage. You rip against the fence and you cross-cut against the angle stop, on a table that does not travel with the timber. A full sheet, all day, is the job these saws are the wrong size for.
