Best gas griddle UK
Updated: 16.10.2026
Best is useless until you name the meal. A two-person breakfast, a crowd, a Campingaz cartridge, and a wheeled cart are four different purchases, and a star line does not say which one you are holding. This is the best gas griddle UK shortlist for those jobs, from the seven listings on the [gas griddle comparison](/hub/portable-grills/gas-griddle). The Products Compared editorial team matched listings to jobs on 15 October 2026. There was no lab cook. A purchase through our links can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Best for two people on a table
For two people on propane, the best value is the ROVSUN at £74.99 and 7.1 kg, if you will season the flat enamel tray and you can live with heat figures that do not agree. If the figures must match before you fry, skip it.
For two people who already buy Campingaz CV 470 Plus, the top pick is the Othello at £159.99. It is one zone, the cartridge is not in the box, and the bullets state 204 g/h. One review said a cartridge lasted about 30 minutes. That is not the specification, and it is the reason to skip a long cook on one cartridge. A listed propane regulator is not that cartridge. Do not cross the supplies because both will cook breakfast.
Best-supported listing in this set
The strongest review base here is the Othello: 4.6 from 426, with 27 United Kingdom reviews in the raw file. That is why it is the top pick, and it is not a lab win. The star line is shopper reviews.
Other totals are thinner, or they are not a UK sample. The lidded Onlyfire has 20 United Kingdom reviews against a listing of 55. The ROVSUN has 5 against 98. The BIG HORN has 1 against 4.4 from 100. A hundred reviews are not British opinion when one of them is from the UK, which is why those stars do not outrank the Othello file.
Skip the Othello if you do not use CV 470 Plus, or if you packed one cartridge for a long meal. If the bottle is still unnamed, use the gas griddle buying guide rather than another superlative.
Best when you need more than one zone
Both Onlyfires state 4.7 kW. Buy the lidded one if you want a lid and you accept 17.9 kg and no named gas family. Buy the open one if you want that power £50 cheaper and no lid. Neither row names a fitting.
The Buffalo is the three-burner row only if you accept 7.5 kW in the title against 2,560 W in the field, and the leg reviews. If the figures must agree, skip it. The BIG HORN is the four-burner row only if you accept an empty fuel field. Do not call it propane because of a rank. The fuel field is blank.
Who should skip the cart
The Onlyfire on a cart is £249.99, 23.4 kg, and 3.2 from 11 reviews, with three United Kingdom reviews in the raw file. One reports rust. That is the lowest star line, on the heaviest unit, at the highest price. It is not the premium pick. Wheels suit a plate that rolls out of a shed and stays there. They are not a quality upgrade over a tabletop.
Skip it for a pitch. The weight is furniture, whatever a bullet says about camping. Skip it if you wanted a named fitting before you pay. Three UK reviews and a rust report are enough to leave it unless the wheels are the job.
Common questions
Which has the strongest review base in this set?
The Othello, at 4.6 from 426, with 27 United Kingdom reviews in the raw file. That is the largest UK file here, and it is shopper reviews, not a lab. The BIG HORN’s 4.4 from 100 has one United Kingdom review in the file. The ROVSUN’s 4.5 from 98 has five. A listing total is not a UK sample on its own.
Is the cheapest one a false economy?
The ROVSUN is the best value only if you accept 4.8 kW in the field against 20,000 BTU in the bullets, and five United Kingdom reviews in the file. It is the listing under £100, and it names a regulator in the box list. It is a false economy if those split figures are unacceptable. The lower price does not repair them.
Is the £249.99 cart the premium pick?
No. It is 23.4 kg, 3.2 from 11 reviews, and a UK review reports rust. Wheels matter when you need a cart. They are not a quality award. Read the lighter tabletops with higher star lines first, and skip this row unless the stand is the job you came for.
Buffalo or BIG HORN for a crowd?
The Buffalo only if you accept 7.5 kW in the title against 2,560 W in the field, and the leg reviews: 4.2 from 29, with 10 United Kingdom reviews in the file. The BIG HORN only if you accept an empty fuel field: 4.4 from 100, with one United Kingdom review in the file. Neither figure is proved by a rank. If the figures must agree, skip both.
Can I call any of these a test winner?
No lab test was run on these seven. The top pick is the Othello because it has the largest UK review file, with the cartridge limit attached. The best value is the ROVSUN on the £74.99 propane listing, with the heat-figure conflict attached. Those are job labels. A magazine round-up of other brands is not a score for these rows.
