Three kits, and one that is a different job
Start with what is in the box, not with the piece count. A self-adhesive patch is squares or rounds with the adhesive already on the backing. You peel, press, and wait the time that pack prints. A tape kit covers a cut longer than one square. A glue kit here is liquid PVC, a patch, and a tool. Paistely and Aarovibe each state a 60 ml bottle and a 24-hour wait on a clean, dry surface. Asticers is tape, and whether glue is in that box is not stated, because UK reviews disagree with the bullets.
A two-part solvent tin is a different purchase. Inflatable Repairs sells a professional PVC kit at £34, and that repair has to be done dry. If the hole is bigger than one square, a sticker pack will not cover it.
Match the damage
A pin hole in a flat panel is the sticker job, if the surface can be clean and the pack does not forbid the spot. kaiheng’s squares say not for uneven seams or grooves. Bestway 62068 adds an underwater claim. zhenye’s twenty pieces are not a quality signal: UK reviews often say the stickers did not stick, and the instructions say to keep water off.
A long cut wants tape. HuakChai states 150 cm by 10 cm. Asticers’ title says 10 by 152 cm, and some UK reviews say about 10 by 100 cm. Lianshi’s bullet says 3.15 inches by 16 feet, and the unit-count field says 1.0 metre. A split along a weld is the close call on self-adhesive pool patch vs glue.
Only Bestway and Asticers say underwater. zhenye says do not touch the water. The other six are not stated, which is not permission to stick them in a full pool. Paistely and Aarovibe do not print a CLP hazard line. That absence is not a statement that the liquid is non-toxic.
What you will pay
Bestway’s own shop lists a ten-pack of underwater patches at £3.99, which is a shop price, not the £3.75 on the amazon.co.uk row for 62068. Twenty zhenye stickers at £3.29 are not a better buy than six kaiheng squares at £6.99, because the cheap pack is the one UK reviews say would not stick. What to leave on the shelf
Roof and gutter tape turns up in the same search, and it is not a pool repair kit. A graphics-card string in a components field, a pack size that cannot hold the patches, and a length that disagrees with itself are reasons to read the row twice. Another Bestway ten-pack on amazon.co.uk is not 62068. Do not borrow its price. If the kit does not stick, that is a complaint under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the short-term right to reject in section 22.
Common questions
Is a pool repair kit the stickers or the glue?
Both are sold under that name. In this comparison a sticker or tape pack has no glue bottle, except Asticers, where glue is not stated because the bullets and the UK reviews conflict. Paistely and Aarovibe are the glue kits, each with 60 ml and a 24-hour wait. A two-part tin with a curing agent is a different product and is not one of the nine rows.
Will a £3 pack fix a split seam?
Do not assume it will. kaiheng, at £6.99 rather than £3, already says the squares are not for uneven seams and grooves, and UK reviews describe seam and curve failures. zhenye at £3.29 has the weakest stick comments in the set. A seam split is the case for the glue-or-patch page, not for the largest piece count.
What is the difference between TPU squares and PVC tape?
kaiheng’s squares are thermoplastic polyurethane, 3.46 inches each, self-adhesive, with a 12-hour wait on a clean dry surface. Tape in this set is a strip you cut to a longer tear. HuakChai states one length. Asticers and Lianshi do not. The material word does not tell you the wait, or whether you may work underwater.
How much should I expect to pay on amazon.co.uk?
In this set, sticker packs run £2.99 to £3.75, glue and a short tape run £5.99 to £7.99, and the two longer or disputed tape rolls are £9.99 and £11.39. Shop kits of about 60 ml sit around £5.99 to £8.99, and a two-part professional tin is £34. Prices move. Use the row on the comparison, not a remembered figure.
What if the kit does not stick?
Stop adding layers from a different chemistry. Note the wait and whether the surface had to be dry. A product that does not do the job is a reason to reject it under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. It is not a reason to quote a strength figure none of these listings measured.
