Tabletop gas fire pit or fire pit table

Updated: 21 October 2026

You already have a garden table with a hole in the middle, or you want the flame and the bottle in one piece of furniture. A tabletop gas fire pit or fire pit table is that split. A burner on a table you own, a dining table with a cylinder bay, and a wheeled body are three different buys. The [gas fire pit comparison](/hub/outdoor-fire-pits/gas-fire-pit) holds the prices and review counts. Who each listing suits is on the [best gas fire pit](/hub/outdoor-fire-pits/gas-fire-pit/sub/gas-fire-pit-best) page. We read the listings on 20 October 2026. Burner on a table you own

A tabletop pit is a pan on furniture you already own. The hose either drops through a parasol hole or stays on the top. Onlyfire B0DHKP1486 is 4.89 kg at £89.99, with a bottom inlet and no hose or regulator named. B0D8T66FNS is a 28 in trough, and that length needs a long table. B0D8T67RXJ is the side-inlet square at £149.99. Three tabletops do not state an inlet: B0DHKSKFNP, B0D8T8XWQW and B0D8T4YYZ3.

A table with a burner

In this set the fire pit table is Outsunny B0F6N1BFVK at £225.99, 109 × 56 × 63 cm and 27 kg, printed as 50,000 BTU. The box names a pre-assembled regulator and hose, a waterproof cover, and a 5 kg bay. The tank is not included. One UK review says the glass fell apart when lifted after use. It is the top pick when you want the table, the cover and a named regulator. The valve match is the gas fire pit propane regulator page.

The pit that can do both

Onlyfire B0BYRGJPCK sits between the two shapes: 21.9 kg at £199.99. The upper burner lifts off onto a table, and the bullets state a 9 kg bay. The included line names a hose. A UK regulator is on the highlight only. One UK review says the body is hard to move. If the table can take the weight, a tabletop from 4.89 kg is the smaller buy. If you want seats and a hidden bottle, the Outsunny states the 5 kg bay. The gas fire pit buying guide puts the fitting ahead of that price.

What this search also shows you

An ALOGFIRE snippet at about 1.5 kW, with a 220 g canister and £129.95, is a butane-cartridge heater, not one of these propane pits. A 20 lb tank or a CSA mark on a UK shop page is US specification language. A grey Outsunny page states a 45 cm hose, and B0F6N1BFVK does not print 45 cm.

Common questions

Should you buy a burner for the table you have, or a table with a burner?
Buy the burner if the table and a route for the hose already exist, and the top can take the weight. Buy the table if you need the surface and a hidden bottle in one piece. In this set the Outsunny at £225.99 is that furniture, with a stated 5 kg bay and the tank still extra. The detachable Onlyfire at £199.99 can do either job if you can move 21.9 kg.
What is a parasol-hole inlet for?
A bottom inlet lets the hose drop through the hole a parasol pole would use, so the hose is not lying across the tabletop. Onlyfire B0DHKP1486 names that bottom inlet. B0D8T5PL9G names a bottom inlet and an umbrella hole. B0D8T66FNS says bottom mounted on the title. A side inlet, as on B0D8T67RXJ, leaves the hose on the table instead.
How heavy are the tabletop pits in this set?
The 18 in Onlyfire B0DHKP1486 is 4.89 kg. The sibling with a named hose, B0DHKSKFNP, is 5.1 kg. The 28 in troughs are 8.4 kg and 8.54 kg. The 16 in square with a bottom inlet is 12.1 kg, the side-inlet square is 12.6 kg, and the round 16 in is 11 kg. The heavier pans need a sturdy table.
What cylinder bay does the Outsunny table state?
Outsunny B0F6N1BFVK states a bay for a 5 kg cylinder. The tank is not in the box. The body weighs 27 kg, assembly is required, and the load line is 30 kg. The regulator and hose are described as pre-assembled. The listing does not print 37 mbar, clip-on or screw. Do not copy a 45 cm hose from a grey sibling page onto this ASIN.
Can the detachable Onlyfire be both a tabletop and a fire pit table?
The bullets say the upper burner detaches and can be used on a table, and they also state wheels and a 9 kg cylinder bay. One UK review bought it for that lift-off burner. The body is 21.9 kg, and another UK review says it is hard to move. The UK regulator is a highlight, not the included-components line.
Does a fire pit table include the cylinder?
No listing in this set includes the cylinder. The Outsunny states a 5 kg bay and says the tank is not included. The detachable Onlyfire states a 9 kg bay and still does not put a bottle in the box. A tabletop pit leaves the bottle beside the table, and the hose has to reach. Green patio gas and red propane use different valves.
Is a cartridge heater the same as these propane pits?
No. The ALOGFIRE snippet in this search is a butane-cartridge heater at about 1.5 kW, with a 220 g canister, quoted at £129.95. The pits in this folder use a hose towards a patio cylinder, from a 3.2 kW 18 in pan up to the Outsunny table stated at 50,000 BTU. A 20 lb tank and a CSA mark are US specification language, not the fitting for these nine ASINs.
