Best gas fire pit: which listing fits your patio

Updated: 21 October 2026

You are in a UK garden with a propane cylinder and a table that may already have a parasol hole. A search for the best gas fire pit brings up Onlyfire tabletops and one Outsunny dining table, and they answer different jobs. This page uses the nine amazon.co.uk listings in our [gas fire pit comparison](/hub/outdoor-fire-pits/gas-fire-pit) to say who each stronger row is for, and who should leave it. Shelf prices are the amazon.co.uk figures from 20 October 2026. We read the listings and the review files, and we did not run a lab test. A small table you already own

If the table is already outside, you want a burner on that top. The Onlyfire 18 in pair has 3.2 kW on the title. B0DHKP1486 is £89.99, with a bottom inlet, and the box does not name a hose or a regulator. B0DHKSKFNP is £99.99 and names a 1.9 m hose and a regulator, though it never prints 37 mbar or the inlet. That £99.99 row is the best value when you want the hose named. B0D8T67RXJ is the side-inlet square at £149.99. The fitting stays open until the gas fire pit propane regulator page.

A longer flame on the table

A longer flame in this set means the 28 in troughs, both £119.99 and stated at 6.5 kW, with a 3 m hose. B0D8T66FNS weighs 8.4 kg and the title says bottom mounted. B0D8T8XWQW does not name the inlet. Neither names a regulator. The round 16 in, B0D8T4YYZ3, is £179.99. Two reviews are not a reason to pay more than the square at £144.99. The 18 in pits and the troughs share one 4.6 from 40 file. Those checks sit on the gas fire pit buying guide.

One piece of furniture

The Onlyfire detachable pit, B0BYRGJPCK, is £199.99 and 21.9 kg. The burner lifts off, the bullets state a 9 kg bay, and the included line names a hose, not the regulator. One UK review says a faulty regulator was replaced. The Outsunny table is the top pick for a dining table, a hidden cylinder and a cover: £225.99, 27 kg, stated at 50,000 BTU, with a 5 kg bay and the tank not included. One bullet says natural gas while the fuel line says liquefied petroleum gas. The shape choice is on tabletop gas fire pit or fire pit table.

Who should skip a row

Skip B0D8T67RXJ at £149.99 if you cannot see that the connector seats. One UK review says it fed gas in bursts. Another says the igniter needed a lighter or a match nine times out of ten. If the smell remains after the cylinder valve is shut, call a Gas Safe engineer. Skip the Outsunny if you will lift the glass while it is warm, or if you already own the table. One UK review says the glass fell apart because the screws bear on bare glass. None of the nine listings prints a flame-failure device.

Common questions

Which gas fire pit in this set is for a table you already own?
The Onlyfire tabletops sit on a table you already have. The 18 in pair is about 46 cm long and around 5 kg, at a stated 3.2 kW. B0DHKP1486 is £89.99 with a bottom inlet for a parasol hole. B0DHKSKFNP is £99.99 and names a 1.9 m hose and a regulator. The 16 in squares weigh about 12 kg. None of them includes the cylinder.
Which listing names a regulator?
B0DHKSKFNP names a 1.9 m hose and a regulator, though it does not print 37 mbar, clip-on, or screw. The Outsunny table says the regulator and hose are pre-assembled. The detachable Onlyfire puts UK regulator on a highlight while the included line names the hose only. The £89.99 18 in pit names neither. A named part still has to match your cylinder.
Who should skip the 3.3-star square?
Skip the side-mounted 16 in square, B0D8T67RXJ at £149.99, if you cannot check the connector. amazon.co.uk shows 3.3 from three reviews. One says the supplied connector fed gas in bursts. Another says the igniter needed a lighter or a match nine times out of ten. A burst of gas is a stop, and the listing does not name a regulator.
Is a 5.0 from two or four reviews a reason to pay more?
No. The bottom-inlet square at £144.99 shows 5.0 from four reviews, and the round 16 in at £179.99 shows 5.0 from two. Those files praise the look. They are not a lab result, and multiplying the star line is not a test win. Two reviews are not a reason to pay more when the round pit does not even state the inlet.
Is the Outsunny the one to buy for a cover and a hidden cylinder?
For that job, yes, with a limit. B0F6N1BFVK is £225.99, with a waterproof cover, a pre-assembled regulator and hose, and a bay for a 5 kg cylinder. The tank is not in the box. Four UK reviews are in the file, and one says the glass fell apart when it was lifted after use. If you already own the table, this is the wrong buy.
Why is 4.6 from 40 not four separate results?
Four Onlyfire ASINs print 4.6 from 40: the two 18 in pits and the two 28 in troughs. The review text is one shared file. A line about a trough is not evidence about the 18 in body. Treat it as one block reused four times, not as 160 reviews.
