Huepar laser level buying guide

Updated: 22 October 2026

You are looking at a row of green Huepar boxes on amazon.co.uk, priced in this set from £69.99 to £349.99, and they look like one catalogue. They are five jobs. This Huepar laser level buying guide asks, in order, what the tool does, what it states at 10 m, whether you can see the line in sun, and what is already in the box. The twelve listings in our [Huepar laser comparison](/hub/measuring-equipment/huepar-laser) were read on 21 October 2026. We did not run a lab test, and this page does not name a single winner. What you are actually buying

The Huepar Pro GK011SG at £79.99 is the cross-line. It states a 120° vertical fan and a 180° horizontal fan, so the beam covers the wall in front of you and stops. A cabinet, a curtain pole, or pictures on one hallway wall fit that shape. A 3×360° wraps one horizontal and two verticals. The Y03CG at £129.99 and the B03CG at £149.99 are the first prices for that shape here. A 4×360° adds a second horizontal. The ZK04CG at £279.99 is the first of those. Extra planes are not extra accuracy. The SG-BT at £69.99 is a distance meter. The LDD300 at £89.99 is a receiver and does not project a beam.

Accuracy, light and what 200 m means

Read the figure at 10 m before the longest number in the title. Pro cards that print it, including the GK011SG and the ZK04CG, state ±2 mm at 10 m. On a 4 m wall that scales to 0.8 mm if you take the claim straight. The B03CG highlight states ±3 mm at 10 m. None of these cards claim ±1 mm at 10 m. Green helps indoors and in shade. Direct sun is different. Figures such as 50 m, 60 m, 200 m and 400 ft are detector ranges. The GK011SG states up to 30 m at 100 lux by eye, and 50 m only with an LR300 that is not in the kit. For an extension or a glazed room, read Huepar laser level outdoor before you treat 200 m as eyesight.

Box, mount and power

Only two ASINs include a receiver. B0FZR7D6HJ is the ZK04CG at £319.99, and B0FWKB1HRC is the W04CG at £349.99. The £40 between the bare ZK04CG at £279.99 and the kit is that detector. Only the ZK03CGT at £229.99 includes a tall tripod, stated from about 43 cm to 127 cm. The line sits at tool height. The GS03CG states a clamp for wood, plasterboard, pipes or a ladder. Line lasers here use a USB-C pack. Stated runtimes run from about 6.5 hours on the motorised W04CG to 18 hours on the GK011SG in cross-line mode, and they fall when every plane is on. A UK charger needs a BS 1363 plug. IP54, where it is printed, is splash resistance, not a puddle rating.

Which band fits the job

About £70 to £90 buys one job: the distance meter, the cross-line, or the LDD300 alone. None of those wraps a room. About £130 to £150 is the plain 3×360°. The B03CG at £149.99 has the largest file, 4.6 from 413, a ±3 mm highlight, no remote and no receiver. About £230 to £350 is the stated ±2 mm Pro cards, the motors, the tripod kit and the two receiver kits. Warranty years differ by card. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 still applies. Class 2, where a listing states it, is a beam under 1 mW. Named picks are on the best Huepar laser level page.

Common questions

Is a 4×360° Huepar more accurate than the cheap cross-line?
The GK011SG at £79.99 states ±2 mm at 10 m. The ZK04CG states the same ±2 mm at 10 m. The B03CG highlight and the W04CG without a receiver state ±3 mm at 10 m. More planes change how much of the room you mark from one setup. On these cards they do not take the tolerance below ±2 mm at 10 m.
Which listings include the receiver?
B0FZR7D6HJ, the ZK04CG at £319.99, states 200 m with the included receiver in pulse mode. B0FWKB1HRC, the W04CG at £349.99, states up to 400 ft with its receiver. The other lasers sell the detector separately or leave it off the box list. The LDD300 at £89.99 is a receiver sold alone, with no laser in the carton.
Which box has a tripod?
Only the ZK03CGT at £229.99, stated from about 43 cm to 127 cm. Every other laser expects a bracket, a clamp, or a stand you already own. The line leaves the tool at tool height. A 1/4 inch-20 screw fits a camera tripod. A site pole is 5/8 inch-11. Check the thread on the listing, because not every card prints both.
Is the £69.99 Huepar a laser level?
The SG-BT is a Bluetooth distance meter, stated to 120 m and up to ±2 mm, with a bullet that also says up to 1/16 inch. It measures to a dot. It does not throw a line for a shelf or a tile course. The 4.7 stars sit on six reviews, which is too small a sample for a layout recommendation.
Will magnets hold on plasterboard?
B03CG reviewers describe the magnet as content on thick steel and too weak for plasterboard. A UK stud wall has no steel unless you add a plate. Use a clamp, a screw, or a tripod. The GS03CG is the listing that states a clamp for wood, plasterboard, pipes or a ladder.
Is a Class 2 green beam usable in a UK house?
Where a listing states a class, it states Class 2 under IEC/EN 60825-1, under 1 mW. GOV.UK advice is that you look away. You can use it for layout. Do not stare into the beam, and do not view it through binoculars. Green is not a higher safety class than red. Workplace duties under the Control of Artificial Optical Radiation at Work Regulations 2010 get heavier at higher classes.
