Best Hantek oscilloscope

Updated: 22 October 2026

The best Hantek oscilloscope in this comparison is the kept amazon.co.uk listing that matches one job at the price we captured. A screen, a generator, a laptop, and a tight budget point at different boxes, and none of them is the best oscilloscope in Britain. The [Hantek oscilloscope comparison](/hub/measuring-equipment/hantek-oscilloscope) holds all eight listings. Prices are captured GBP figures, and they move. Peter F. did not lab-test these units. A screen and no laptop

If the computer has to stay off, stay with the bench titles. The DSO5102P is the dearest kept bench unit, at £262.99, with a 7-inch screen, 100 MHz, and 1 GSa/s, rated 4.5 from 317. The shelf moves, so check the live page. The DSO2C10 is the 100 MHz bench listing without a clean generator claim, at £174.63 and 4.4 from 156. The DSO2D10 is £219.99 and 4.5 from 64. The DSO2D15 is £215.99 and 4.4 from 92. On the capture day the 150 MHz model cost less. The DSO2D10 file prints part number DSO2C10, and the DSO2D15 file prints DSO2000. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 expects the goods to match the description.

If you want a generator

A generator earns its place when you inject a test wave and watch the output on the same instrument. In this set that bench feature sits on the DSO2D10 and the DSO2D15. Hantek's DSO2000 page limits the generator to those D models, described here as 25 MHz. The series page says both channels run at 500 MSa/s and 4 M. Where the amazon saved listing omits that line, attribute it to the manufacturer page. The DSO2C10 bullet says there is no 25 MHz generator, and it also says "arbitrary waveform output". At £174.63 against £215.99 it is the model to skip when a generator is why you are buying. The DSO2D10 listing also prints 1 GSa/s and 200 MSa/s, and 8 bit and 12 bits. Leave 12 bits undecided while 8-bit is on the same page.

If a PC is acceptable

The cheapest two-channel scopes here are the 6022BE at £65.99, rated 4.0 from 240, and the 6022BL at £71.71, rated 3.9 from 175. Both are 20 MHz at 48 MSa/s, with no screen. UK reviews describe an unsigned driver. We do not claim Windows 11. The 6022BL adds 16 logic channels for about £6. One UK review says a driver install left a laptop unable to boot. That is one report, not a rate. Buy the BL when you will use the logic inputs. Buy the BE when two analogue channels on a PC are the whole job. The missing-screen choice is on the Hantek USB or bench oscilloscope page. The DSO2C10 at £174.63 is the bench step up from the 6022BE.

Handheld, and who should look elsewhere

The 2D42 is the handheld: 40 MHz, a meter, and a generator, at £149.99, with 4.4 from 106 and no UK review text in the saved listing. A star average without UK write-ups is a thin basis next to the DSO5102P's 317 reviews. The manufacturer table states 150 V RMS on the oscilloscope input and a separate, higher meter limit. Those jacks are not the same rating. Several slow vehicle sensors belong with the 1008C at £107.00. A bench bullet that mentions cars does not collect those menus. Secondary ignition is a stop unless that work is your trade.

Common questions

Which Hantek should I buy if I want a screen and no laptop?
Choose among the DSO5102P at £262.99, the DSO2C10 at £174.63, the DSO2D10 at £219.99, and the DSO2D15 at £215.99. The 2D42 at £149.99 is the handheld if 40 MHz is enough. The DSO5102P has the largest bench review sample here, 4.5 from 317. Confirm the part number matches the title, because those files print a series name or a sibling's code.
Is the DSO5102P worth more than the DSO2C10?
The gap, £262.99 against £174.63, buys the bigger UK review sample and the older 7-inch layout, with the shorter record Hantek lists for the DSO5102P, up to 40K. It is a weak spend when you want the DSO2000 memory story or a generator. One owner's forum report about returning a 5102P is an anecdote, not a lab result.
Which listing includes a generator?
The DSO2D10 and the DSO2D15 include the bench generator, described as 25 MHz. The DSO2D15 is also the 150 MHz title, captured at £215.99, slightly under the DSO2D10 at £219.99 on the day we saved the prices. The 2D42 includes a generator in a handheld body. The DSO2C10 bullet says it has no 25 MHz generator and also mentions arbitrary waveform output, so do not buy that listing for a generator until the text agrees with itself. The 6022 pair is the wrong place to look for one.
What is the cheapest two-channel scope in this set?
The 6022BE at £65.99 is the lowest captured price: 20 MHz, 48 MSa/s, no screen, 4.0 from 240. The 6022BL at £71.71 adds logic channels and 3.9 from 175. Both need a PC, and UK reviews describe unsigned drivers. The cheapest bench screen in the set is the DSO2C10 at £174.63.
Why might the price on the live page differ from this comparison?
Amazon's shelf moves. We kept £215.99 for the DSO2D15 while a snippet showed about £223, and £262.99 with 4.5 from 317 for the DSO5102P while a 20 October 2026 snippet showed 4.4 from 313. Another DSO2C10 ASIN is not in the eight. Pay the price on the listing you open.
