Endoscope camera with screen or phone

Updated: 22 October 2026

You are choosing how the picture arrives, not how long the cable is. One 10 m camera has a 4.3 inch screen and switches on by itself. The other is a lead into your phone, and the phone is the only display. A screen can show the loft now and then give you nothing to send. A phone can save the clip and then drop it when the plug moves. This endoscope camera with screen or phone page is that fork for the five listings in the [endoscope camera 10m comparison](/hub/measuring-equipment/endoscope-camera-10m). We did not lab-test them. Prices are £18.99 to £36.09. A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

What no app means on the two screen cameras

The Yamokizy SC08 at £36.09 and the Ferdiiz P430-10M at £23.99 both use a 4.3 inch screen. Both bullets say there is no phone, no Wi-Fi, and no app. You charge them by USB-C. You can wear gloves and look without unlocking a phone. UK reviews use the Yamokizy in a loft, behind a sink, and in an engine bay. Neither bullet mentions a memory card. A UK review title on the Yamokizy says there are no recording features. The Ferdiiz screen is cheaper, and UK reviews repeat a power button that stuck or died. Those skips are on the best 10m inspection camera page. No app means you see it now, and you do not keep it.

What the three phone cameras plug into

Ferdiiz AN112-10M at £26.99, Vorth at £21.24, and Ennovor at £18.99 have no screen. AN112-10M names Usee Plus. Vorth names UseePlus. Ennovor names SUP-ANESOK. Those spellings are different printed names. Vorth lists Android, Lightning, and USB-C, then a second box line names an iPhone or micro-USB adapter. UK reviews say the Lightning lead flickers until you reseat the plug. Ennovor tells you to confirm Android On-The-Go: the phone must be the USB host. A charge-only port will not show a picture. None of these bullets offers Wi-Fi.

When the phone is the better display

The phone wins when the clip is the point. A UK reviewer who already owned a screen scope preferred the Ferdiiz AN112-10M for recording, zoom, and rotation. It shows 4.3 from 1,853 reviews. Vorth is the lower price, 4.2 from 805, if the connector stays seated. One hand stays on the phone, and grease moves onto it. A large void still defeats the eight LEDs. A saved clip is not a measured survey. If someone else must trust a drain, see the DIY drain camera guide.

A conditional pick

Buy a screen if your hands will be dirty and you can live without a file. The Yamokizy SC08, at £36.09, is the screen without a repeated button complaint. The Ferdiiz screen is £23.99. Buy a phone only after you have tested the port in the room. AN112-10M is the pick when the review sample matters. The Vorth is the best value when Lightning is not your only plug. The Ennovor, at £18.99, has 13 United Kingdom texts and an app one reviewer could not record from. The first push is on the how to use an endoscope camera page.

Common questions

Which of these five needs no phone?
The Yamokizy SC08 and the Ferdiiz P430-10M. Both have a 4.3 inch screen, and both bullets say no app and no Wi-Fi. You charge them with USB-C. The Yamokizy is £36.09 and weighs 760 g. The Ferdiiz screen is £23.99, and UK reviews repeat a failing power button. AN112-10M, Vorth, and Ennovor need a phone. There is no screen-and-phone hybrid in this set.
Will it work with a Lightning iPhone?
Only the phone cameras might, and only with the right lead. Vorth lists Lightning, and UK reviews call that lead flaky. Ferdiiz AN112-10M and Ennovor list an iPhone adapter and iOS 9 or above. That is not a promise for every current iPhone. Test a clip in the room. If Lightning is your only port and the lead flickers, the screen cameras take the port out of the job.
What app do I install?
The name on the listing. Ferdiiz AN112-10M says Usee Plus. Vorth says UseePlus. Ennovor says SUP-ANESOK, or the QR code on its bullet. Treat those spellings as different printed names. The screen cameras do not use an app. If Android does not offer the app when you plug in, check On-The-Go before you assume the camera is dead.
Can I record on the screen models?
Not from anything in the bullets. The Yamokizy and the Ferdiiz P430-10M do not mention a memory card, photos, or video. A UK review title on the Yamokizy says there are no recording features. If you need a file, use a phone camera and save a short clip before the head goes anywhere dirty. One Ennovor reviewer could not find that control in SUP-ANESOK.
Why does the picture drop out?
On the phone models the lead is the picture. Vorth reviews describe Lightning flicker and a return to the home screen until the plug is reseated. A tug, a tight pocket, or a port that does not host USB does the same. On Android, confirm On-The-Go. A black frame can also be the lens against a surface, or LEDs that cannot fill a large void. The screen cameras avoid the plug and can still go black if the Ferdiiz P430 power button fails.
Which is better with wet or greasy hands?
The screen, if you only need a live look. Gloves and a 4.3 inch display keep the phone out of the grease, which suits a sink, an engine bay, or a dusty loft. The Yamokizy is the screen without the repeated button complaint. The phone is better only when the saved clip matters more than clean hands, and only after the port has worked. Neither choice makes the handset waterproof. IP67 here is a probe claim. Keep the screen and the phone dry.
