Worx Landroid buying guide for UK gardens

Updated: October 2026

A 300 m² lawn can look simple from the back door until you count the side return, the open boundary with a neighbour and the socket hidden in the garage. A useful Worx Landroid buying guide starts with the garden, not the model number. Choose the navigation family first, then the smallest stated capacity with sensible headroom, and only then the price. Our [Worx robot lawn mower comparison](/hub/lawn-and-garden-equipment/worx-robot-lawn-mower) holds six amazon.co.uk listings across wired Landroid, camera Vision and Vision Cloud. This page turns those rows into an if-then, without naming one mower for every lawn. A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Choose between three Landroid families

A wired Landroid follows a perimeter loop. The WR142E is the clearest example, with 150 m of cable and 210 pegs in the box. Reviews say the WR169E also uses a guide wire, although its bullets do not. A spade or scarifier can cut the loop later. In return you get an edge where your grass joins more grass. The WR206E is camera Vision, not Vision Cloud. It does not need that loop. A 45-minute runtime and a 2.0 Ah battery separate it from the Cloud rows. A low price is not a discount on the WR303E. Vision Cloud combines VSLAM with cloud RTK on the WR303E, WR305E and WR306E. They avoid a boundary wire and support app zones. The dock still needs power and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and the lawn needs a visible edge and a route between areas. Choose a wire when that edge must be hard, or Wi-Fi at the dock is unreliable. Choose Vision Cloud when the perimeter is clear and you do not want to maintain a loop. The trade-off is in Landroid Vision or boundary wire.

Match measured grass to the stated area

Measure the grass the mower will cut, not the house, beds or paving. A simple rectangle is an easier job than the same area split around a shed. Leaving headroom is a rule of thumb, not a Worx specification. Below about 300 m², the WR303E is the matching Vision Cloud row. The WR169E also carries a 300 m² style name, with a 16 cm cut and guide-wire evidence in reviews. Do not shortlist them as if navigation were the same. The WR305E states 500 m². The WR306E states 600 m² and includes Cut to Zero. The WR206E also states 600 m², as camera Vision with a 45-minute runtime. If you will lay a loop, the WR142E title states 700 m². That figure is recommended capacity, not one charge. Above 600 m² with no wire, these six listings have no comfortable wire-free answer. For a bank, use the Worx Landroid slope guide.

Check what the listing and box actually share

Similar names do not mean similar boxes. The WR142E lists 150 m of cable, 210 pegs, a charger, a charging base and nine spare blades with screws. ACS, the alarm, GPS and Off Limits are not in that included line. Cut to Zero is included with the WR306E and is not stated as included with the WR303E or WR305E. That can matter more than a small capacity step beside a long kerb. It does not clear every margin by a raised wall. The WR303E listing gives an 18 cm cut. The WR305E and WR306E tables here do not. The WR206E bullets say 3–6 cm cutting height and the table says 2.3–2.4 inches. Do not pick the figure you prefer. WR169E reviews describe a guide wire the bullets do not name. Confirm wire, pegs and the base with the seller.

Compare price only after the shortlist

Prices in this comparison run from £457.17 for the WR206E to £899 for the WR306E. The WR142E is £499, the WR169E £599, the WR303E £671.99 and the WR305E £799. Those numbers only make sense beside method and capacity. The cheapest row has the weakest star line. On 16 October 2026, Worx UK prices did not always match these Amazon figures. Compare seller, delivery, warranty wording and what is actually in the box. After that shortlist, the best Worx Landroid guide names a top pick and a best-value alternative. It does not make a 300 m² model fit a 500 m² lawn.

Common questions

Do I choose by the Landroid name or navigation?
Choose by navigation first. Landroid covers wired machines, camera Vision and Vision Cloud in this comparison. A model that needs a loop behaves differently from one that maps visible edges, even when the names and app features look similar. Decide how the mower stays inside the lawn before you compare capacity and price.
Is a 300 m² rating enough for exactly 300 m²?
It may be, but buying at the exact stated limit leaves little room for an awkward shape, narrow links or excluded zones. Measure mowing grass accurately, then use extra capacity as practical headroom where the layout is complex. Headroom is a rule of thumb, not a promise that a larger mower solves a blocked route.
When is the WR142E the right choice?
The WR142E makes sense when you accept a boundary loop, need a hard edge and want a stated 700 m² capacity at the £499 comparison price. Its cable and pegs are listed in the box. It is less suitable if you regularly scarify, redesign borders or refuse cable repairs.
What is the WR206E?
The WR206E is a wire-free camera Vision mower stated for 600 m². It is not one of the VSLAM and RTK Cloud rows. Its listing gives a 45-minute runtime, a 2.0 Ah PowerShare battery and a 3.1-star line from 23 reviews, so compare it on its own evidence.
Are Worx UK prices the same as amazon.co.uk prices?
Not necessarily. Worx UK, Amazon and third-party sellers set and change prices independently, and bundles may differ. Use the comparison to understand relative position, then check the live UK listing for the seller, included equipment, delivery and final GBP total.
What should I measure before opening a listing?
Measure the mowable grass area, the narrowest passage, steep banks and the distance from a proposed dock to a dry socket. Note steps, gates, ponds, drops and open grass boundaries. If you are considering Vision Cloud, check whether 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi reaches the dock.
