What solo changes about the price

Solo, on these Einhell bodies, means the carton does not include a Power X-Change pack or a charger. The printed captures, which are not a live price check, run from the GE-CL 18 Li E Solo at about £41.95 to the GE-CL 36 at about £126.67. None of those figures is a kit price you can line up against a rival that arrives with two batteries. One UK reviewer of the GE-CL 36 said two batteries and a charger pushed their spend near £300. A charger, if you need one, has to use a BS 1363 plug on 230 V mains.

One 18 V pack or two

Einhell’s 36 V tools in this set are two 18 V Power X-Change packs fitted together, not a second battery. Your existing pack still fits an 18 V tool. It will not, on its own, start a 36 V blower. One pack runs the GE-CL 18, the GE-UB 18/250, the GP-LB 18/200, the gutter kit, and the VENTURRO 18/210. Two packs run the GE-LB 36/210 (Einhell.co.uk item 3433620 is the GP-LB 36/210), the GP-LB 36/230, the VENTURRO 36/240, and the GE-CL 36. Air speed is not air volume

Kilometres per hour is how fast the jet leaves the nozzle. Cubic metres per hour is how much air the tool moves. The GE-UB prints 250 km/h and no usable volume. A reseller lists 120 m³/h, next to the GP-LB 18/200 at 200 km/h and 670 m³/h. The GE-LB 36/210 lists 210 km/h and 816 m³/h. The GP-LB 36/230 bullets list 230 km/h and 890 m³/h. A higher speed on the GE-UB is not a larger garden tool. Einhell’s sheet for article 3433620 gives about 10 minutes on turbo with 4.0 Ah packs. That is a manufacturer setup, not your garden.

Noise marks and listing cells

Do not pick a quietest Einhell blower from the Amazon decibel cells. They do not share one method. The GE-UB cell reads 1 decibel, which is not a sound level. The VENTURRO 36/240 cell reads 72 dB, while Einhell.co.uk lists 98 dB(A) sound power. From 13 April 2026, SI 2025/1073 measures electric models to EN 50636-2-100:2014, Annex CC. An Amazon cell is not that declared sound power. HSE INDG362 action values of 80 and 85 dB(A) apply to employers, not a householder. GOV.UK sets no national clock, so check the council.

Conflicts to keep visible

The GE-LB 36/210 voltage cell says 18 volts on a 36 V title, because the tool uses two 18 V packs. The GP-LB 36/230 cell says 28 volts, which this comparison does not treat as the system voltage. The plain GP-LB 18/200 does not include gutter pipes. Those five pieces are the separate kit at about £87.94. The GP-LB 36/230 highlight mentions suction, and the bullets do not, so it is not a vacuum here. Its 4.7 from 147 reviews rests on two UK texts, not 1,806 reviews on the 36/210. Common questions

Is the battery in the box?

No. Every kept listing is a Solo body, so the capture from about £41.95 to about £126.67 is the tool only. The GE-CL 18 title says without battery, and the other pages sell the pack and charger separately. If you do not already own Power X-Change packs, add a BS 1363 charger and one pack, or two packs for any 36 V body.

Does 36 V mean I cannot use my 18 V strimmer pack?
