36 V is two 18 V packs

Einhell describes 36 V garden tools as two 18 V Power X-Change packs fitted at the same time. Your existing pack still runs an 18 V mower or strimmer. It will not, on its own, start a 36 V blower in this set. UK reviews of the GE-LB 36/210 say owners of a single battery are surprised when the tool will not run. You do not need two chargers. One charger with a BS 1363 plug can fill the packs one after the other. You do need two packs that match. A flat 2.0 Ah beside a full 4.0 Ah stops the tool early. Every listing here is still a Solo body: the shelf price excludes the packs and the charger.

When the single pack is enough

Choose an 18 V body when you own one pack and the job is paths, a patio, or a small dry lawn. The GE-CL 18 Li E Solo is the light end: 1.33 kg, 210 km/h, about £41.95, and 4.5 from 8,220 reviews. It has no printed air volume, and UK reviews do not treat it as the tool for a heavy fall. Choose the GP-LB 18/200 when you still have only one pack and you want a stated volume. The capture is about £68.99, 4.6 from 1,070, at 200 km/h and 670 m³/h. Einhell UK suggests 3.0 Ah or above. That 670 m³/h is the figure to set beside a 36 V blower, not the GE-UB’s 250 km/h. Who each body suits is on the best Einhell leaf blower page.

When the pair is worth it

Choose a 36 V blower when you can fit two matched packs and you want a higher stated air volume for a thicker fall. The GE-LB 36/210 prints 210 km/h and 816 m³/h. The capture is about £99.95 and 4.7 from 1,806 reviews. That is 146 m³/h more than the GP-LB 18/200’s 670 m³/h, not twice the air. Some UK reviewers say this blower moves wet leaves as well as dry ones, on the blow-only side. The GP-LB 36/230 prints 230 km/h and 890 m³/h at about £121.50, with 4.7 from 147 reviews and only two UK texts, so it does not replace the 36/210. Einhell’s sheet for article 3433620 puts turbo at about 10 minutes with 4.0 Ah packs. Do not paste it onto the GP-LB 18/200.

Listing cells that disagree

Amazon’s voltage cell on the GE-LB 36/210 says 18 volts while the title is 36 V. The tool still needs two packs. The GP-LB 36/230 cell says 28 volts. This comparison does not use that as the system voltage, because the title is 36 V and the bullets call for two 18 V packs. If you own one pack and the job is a small lawn, stay on the GE-CL 18 or the GP-LB 18/200. If you own a matched pair and the fall is thicker, the GE-LB 36/210 combines 816 m³/h with the deeper UK review file. The 36 V label is the better buy when you already have the second pack. The criteria are in the buying guide.

Common questions

Can my 18 V mower battery run the 36 V blower?
It can run your 18 V mower. It cannot run a 36 V blower in this set on its own. The GE-LB 36/210, the GP-LB 36/230, the VENTURRO 36/240, and the GE-CL 36 each need two 18 V Power X-Change packs fitted together. Einhell’s UK battery-system page is the source for that rule.
Do I need two chargers?
No. The two packs are the same 18 V Power X-Change cells your other Einhell tools use. One charger can charge them one after the other. If you buy a charger, it should have a BS 1363 plug for a UK socket. The blower body has no plug of its own. A second charger only matters if you want both packs filling at once, which these listings do not require.
Is the 36 V blower twice as powerful?
No. The GP-LB 18/200 lists 670 m³/h. The GE-LB 36/210 lists 816 m³/h. The GP-LB 36/230 bullets list 890 m³/h. Those are listing figures, not a lab ranking, and none of them is double 670. What does change is that the 36 V tool will not start without the second pack, and turbo is where reviewers say the packs disappear.
How long is turbo?
There is no single runtime for every model. Einhell’s sheet for the 36/210, article 3433620, puts turbo at about 10 minutes with 4.0 Ah packs, with much longer times on the low setting. That is the manufacturer’s setup. One UK review of the gutter-kit 18/200 says a 4 Ah pack lasted about six minutes on turbo. Do not copy the 36/210 sheet onto the 18/200.
Why does Amazon say 18 V on a 36 V title?
The GE-LB 36/210 voltage cell says 18 volts because the packs are 18 V. The tool is still the twin-pack body, and Einhell.co.uk lists article 3433620 as the GP-LB 36/210. The GP-LB 36/230 cell says 28 volts. Use the model and the pack count, not the cell on its own.
