Einhell lawn mower battery life

Updated: October 2026

You are at the far end of the lawn with a dead pack and half the grass still long, trying to remember whether the title promised 200 square metres. Einhell lawn mower battery life, in this amazon.co.uk set, is a smaller question than the titles suggest. A recommended area is not a measured runtime. A 15-minute figure and a 30-minute figure belong to different models and must not be averaged. Products Compared read the listings captured on 19 October 2026, plus the Which? table and Gardeners' World's 2026 notes. We did not time a charge. The rows are on the [main comparison](/hub/lawn-and-garden-equipment/einhell-lawn-mower). A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Area claims are not minutes

Every square-metre line here is a recommendation for a lawn you already keep. The 30 cm solo prints up to 175 m². The 33 cm files that agree with themselves print up to 200 m². The RASARRO bullets print up to 300 m², the 36/36 up to 400 m², and the 43 cm kit up to 600 m². Long grass, wet growth, and a low deck spend a pack faster than a dry weekly trim. Do not multiply 18 V by amp-hours and call the result minutes. A 4.0 Ah pack is a larger store than a 3.0 Ah pack. It is not a number of minutes until somebody times that deck. The 33 cm kit cannot even hold an area: bullets say 200 m² and the highlight says 20 m². Leave that cell alone.

One pack on a small lawn

One 18 V pack supplies the small kits and the solos. The GE-CM 18/30 Li kit at about £83.94 includes a 3.0 Ah battery and a charger. In the first 50 UK reviews, that pack is what people describe fading on the first long cut, then lasting longer once the lawn is short. The GE-CM 18/33 Li kit at about £149.95 includes a 4.0 Ah pack on a 33 cm deck. Which? prints 15 minutes on its GE-CM 18/33 Li table, for a small lawn, with no drive and no mulching. Another published note of around 30 minutes for that model name disagrees. Do not average them, and do not paste 15 minutes onto the RASARRO. The solos are about £119.00 and about £124.95, both without a battery. A solo price is not a runtime. Kit versus solo is the buying guide.

Two packs, still not a guarantee

Twin-Pack means two 18 V batteries running a 36 V mower. Two batteries in the box are not a promise that 400 or 600 m² falls in one charge. The RASARRO 36/34 kit includes two 3.0 Ah Plus packs at about £237.99. A listing field says 30 minutes. Gardeners' World's 2026 notes also print 30 minutes, and they say the 30 litre box fills quickly, which stops you even when charge remains. Those 30 minutes are not Which?'s 15. The 43 cm kit includes two 4.0 Ah packs and prints 60 minutes on a spec row, with a seller area up to 600 m². Sixty minutes is a listing field. Reviewers say the packs run out after a week or more of growth. Who should skip the top pick is the best Einhell lawn mower page.

What you cannot time from this capture

The about £331.95 listing copies the RASARRO review text byte for byte. It cannot support a separate runtime for a 42 cm mower with two 5.2 Ah packs. Later bullets describe a different model. The 1,800 W corded mower has no battery. The 30 cm solo at about £124.95 has no UK review paragraphs, so it adds no minutes either. A socket keeps turning inside the lead's reach, including the 10 m lead on the 1,600 W model. If a 3.0 Ah pack already dies on the first long cut, a second pack or a twin-pack kit is the cordless answer. If you do not want another battery in the house, use the mains mower.

Common questions

Will the 18/33 kit do 200 m² on one charge?
The bullets that say 200 m² are a seller recommendation, and the same file's highlight says 20 m², so the area is not settled. Which? records 15 minutes for the GE-CM 18/33 Li on a small lawn. A different published note says around 30 minutes. Reviewers say a modest lawn can fall in one 4.0 Ah charge, and a large or long one needs a recharge.
What did Which? actually time?
A GE-CM 18/33 Li: a small lawn, 33 cm, heights 25–65 mm, 15 minutes, not self-propelled, mulching not included, about 10.2 kg. That 15 minutes is one model. It is not the RASARRO's 30 minutes, and it is not the 60-minute listing field on the 43 cm kit.
What is Twin-Pack in minutes?
It is two 18 V packs running a 36 V deck. The times we will quote are 30 minutes on the RASARRO, from a listing field and from Gardeners' World, and 15 minutes on the GE-CM 18/33 Li from Which?. The 43 cm kit's 60 minutes is the seller's spec row. A full 30 litre box can stop you before the packs do.
Which listing's runtime text is not a separate sample?
B0BRQ7YHGP. The UK reviews match the RASARRO 36/34 file exactly, so any runtime remark in that text has already been counted on the about £237.99 kit. Do not read it as owners of a 42 cm mower with 5.2 Ah packs.
When should you buy the mains model instead?
When you do not own packs, you do not want to, and a socket is within a lead you can route on a 30 mA RCD. The 1,600 W mower states a 10 m cord and has 298 reviews. It does not fade mid-stripe. It also cannot cross a lawn the lead will not reach.
