Einhell electric lawn mower buying guide

Updated: October 2026

You are looking at twelve Einhell rotaries on amazon.co.uk and one lawn. Some cartons plug into a 230 V socket, some include a Power X-Change pack, and some will not turn a blade until you already own the batteries. This Einhell electric lawn mower buying guide is the order of questions before you spend: power path, what is in the box, then width. The [Einhell electric lawn mower comparison](/hub/lawn-and-garden-equipment/einhell-electric-lawn-mower) is the price and star table. This page does not crown a winner. Peter F. compared the twelve saved listings on 22 October 2026. We did not mow a test lawn. A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Mains, one pack, or two packs

Electric, on these cards, is four paths. Corded needs a BS 1363 plug and a socket. One-pack cordless is a single 18 V Power X-Change battery. Two-pack is Einhell's Twin-Pack: two 18 V packs make the 36 V tool. A bare tool leaves the packs out. The clearer corded card is the GC-EM 1600/37 at about £114.99, 4.5 from 298 reviews, with a 37 cm cut and a 10 m lead. The GC-EM 1800/43 is about £167.74 and 4.7 from four reviews, and it does not state a lead length. The complete 18 V kits are the GE-CM 18/30 Li at about £83.94 with a 3.0 Ah pack, and the GE-CM 18/33 Li at about £149.95 with a 4.0 Ah pack. A 36 V mower needs a pair. One drill pack does not run it on its own.

What has to be in the box

A low shelf price only helps if the carton can mow on arrival. The GE-CM 18/33 Li Solo is about £119 with no battery. The 32 cm Solo is about £149.95, the same price as the 33 cm kit that includes a 4.0 Ah pack, and it still cannot cut. The GP-CM 36/41 Li-Solo is about £249 and needs two packs that are not in the box. Anything that goes into a UK socket needs a BS 1363 plug under the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016. One UK review of the GE-CM 43 reports two-pin chargers. We have not opened that carton. The 46 cm kit at about £448 says two 4.0 Ah packs in the included line and one pack in a bullet.

Width, without treating the square metres as a test

Einhell's UK hub is maker guidance, not a measurement of these listings. Up to about 250 m², they point at a cut up to 33 cm. Corded models on that page are described up to 800 m², depending on the cable. The cards print the same kind of claim. The GC-EM 1600/37 says up to 700 m². The 18/32 Solo prints both 180 m² and 270 m². One of three UK reviews of the 46 cm kit did not finish about 310 m² against a 500 m² bullet. Treat every up-to line as a recommendation, then use centimetres and pack count. A short lawn is the Einhell lawn mower for a small garden page. The power fork is the Einhell corded vs cordless lawn mower page.

Two listings that do not say one thing

ASIN B0BRQ7YHGP is about £331.95 with 4.4 from 2,005 reviews. That star line matches ASIN B0BRXKXSQW, the RASARRO 36/34, and the review titles match too. The title says a 42 cm RASARRO with two 5.2 Ah packs, model 3413272. Later bullets describe a GE-CM 36/43 at 47 cm with a 65 litre box and two 4.0 Ah packs. A 42 cm cut with two 5.2 Ah packs is not a fact you can buy against. The GE-CM 18/33 Li kit at about £149.95 is 4.3 from 7,288 reviews. Bullets say there is no bag, while a highlight mentions a 30 litre box. Open the gallery before you pick a sentence.

What to buy for which lawn

If the socket is close, take the GC-EM 1600/37: a 38 litre box and a stated 10 m lead. Skip it beyond that lead. If the lawn is small and cut often, the GE-CM 18/30 Li kit is one 18 V pack, and the height change is stiff. If the grass is long or damp, the GE-CM 43 Li M brings two 4.0 Ah packs, and UK reviews still report a short run. Who should take the two cheaper cartons is on the best Einhell electric lawn mower page.

Common questions

Does electric here mean mains or battery?
On these twelve cards, electric covers both. Two machines are corded 230 V rotaries. The rest are an 18 V kit, a 36 V kit that needs two 18 V packs, or a Solo with the packs left out. Read the included line before you compare prices. A bare tool at a similar price still cannot mow.
Which cards mow out of the box?
The two GC-EM models need a socket. The 18/30 and 18/33 kits include a pack and a charger. The RASARRO 36/34 includes two 3.0 Ah packs, and the GE-CM 43 includes two 4.0 Ah packs. The 33 cm Solo at about £119 and the 41 cm Solo at about £249 do not. The 46 cm kit's pack count conflicts, so it is not a clean ready tick.
What is a 36 V Einhell if I already own 18 V packs?
Twin-Pack means two 18 V Power X-Change packs working as 36 V. A single drill pack does not replace that pair. The maker says you may want a second pair if the first will not finish. This page does not price spare packs, because those pages do not list a GBP figure for these ASINs.
Why do two ASINs both say 4.4 from 2,005?
B0BRXKXSQW and B0BRQ7YHGP share that star line and that count, and the review titles match. The first is the RASARRO 36/34 at about £237.99. The second mixes a 42 cm title with later bullets for a different width. Shared stars are not proof they are the same mower.
What should I check on the plug?
Anything that plugs into a UK socket should have a BS 1363 three-pin fused plug, which is what Electrical Safety First expects and what the 2016 regulations require on equipment sold here. A note of two-pin chargers on the GE-CM 43 is a reason to check the photos. Cordless mowers still charge from the mains.
