What you are actually buying

A goulash cannon is an outdoor stew oven: a firebox under a deep pot, a chimney, a lid, and ash storage if the seller names it. vidaXL’s UK page is the clearest shop description: a 14.3 litre pot, an 8 litre pan, 52 × 47 × 96.5 cm overall, a chimney about 6 cm across, assembly required, and fuel listed as wood, charcoal or coal. That parcel is a retailer listing, not an amazon.co.uk ASIN, even when the centimetres match. A bare enamel pot fails. ASIN B012BQ7FMG is a 14 litre pot with no chimney. If the page never names a firebox, a chimney and a lid together, it is not a cannon.

Litres, then fuel

Litres come first, and only B0HDR1K7XY prints them: a removable 14.3 litre pot, an 8 litre pan, and 10.1 kg, at about £9.69. The same page also says stainless steel, an aluminium frame, an adapter hose and programmable, which do not sit with bullets for wood, charcoal or coal. Do not copy 14.3 litres onto the other seven titles. B0D83KL7FY names charcoal and wood, with a chimney and a lid in the title, 3 kg, and about £347.72, and no litres. Other titles from about £310 to about £404 never name a fuel. If the seller will not say what you burn, the how to use a goulash cannon page cannot fill that blank.

Weight against the UK shop band

A 1 kg line beside a 96.5 cm height, or a 20 mm or 30 mm item size beside those centimetres, is catalogue error. Enamelled steel is coated steel, not stainless steel. Royal Catering lists stainless steel, wood, iron and Bakelit in one materials line, and enamel can chip. UK shops near 14 litres sit around £88 to £132 and about 9 to 10 kg: Royal Catering at £109 and 9.45 kg, vidaXL at £131.99, Relaxdays about £88.90 and about 10 kg. The 10.1 kg amazon line is the only weight in this set near that band, and it sits on the page that also contradicts itself.

Fourteen litres is the size UK shops keep printing for this shape. vidaXL states 14.3 litres, Royal Catering states 14 litres, and Relaxdays states 14 litres. Inside the amazon set, only B0HDR1K7XY states 14.3 litres and an 8 litre pan. The other kept titles do not state a pot capacity. Do not borrow the shop figure and paste it onto a silent listing.
Does enamelled steel mean stainless steel?
No. Enamelled steel is steel with an enamel coating. Stainless is a different metal claim. B0HDR1K7XY prints enamelled bullets and a stainless-steel line, plus an aluminium frame, so those words conflict on one page. The Royal Catering materials line mixes stainless steel with wood, iron and Bakelit. Read the line you are paying for. Do not treat the words as synonyms, and do not assume enamel cannot chip.
Why do weights say 1 kg and 10 kg for the same centimetres?
Shop ovens near this size weigh about 9 to 10 kg: 9.45 kg on the Royal Catering page and about 10 kg on the Relaxdays page. B0HDR1K7XY prints 10.1 kg. Other amazon pages print 1 kg, 3 kg or 6 kg beside 52 × 47 × 96.5 cm. Treat a 1 kg line next to that height as bad catalogue data, not as a cannon you can carry in one hand.
Do I need a thermometer?
You do not need one for the object to be a cannon. None of the eight kept amazon.co.uk listings states a thermometer. Royal Catering’s 14 litre shop model includes one, at £109, and that page was out of stock when we looked. If a dial matters to you, buy a page that prints it. Do not assume a black photograph includes a gauge the text never mentions.
