Best Beko silicone

Updated: 23 October 2026

You want one cartridge for one job, and the highest star count is trying to make the decision for you. There is no single best Beko silicone in this amazon.co.uk set, because a food-contact bead, a walnut window trim and a pergamon bath are different duties. The useful question is which listing matches the joint, and who should leave it. Prices and stars below are from the listings on 19 October 2026. The [Beko silicone comparison](/hub/fillers-adhesives-and-sprays/beko-silicone) is the full table. Peter F., DIY and tools editor, did not lab-test these tubes. There is no single best cartridge

Premium, and £29.99, is how PSS gets treated as a higher grade of the same sealant. Pro4 is the neutral all-rounder. PSS is the plumbing silicone. 22701 is the food line. 22803 is the fire line. Stars are the amazon.co.uk figure for that ASIN, not a panel of UK bathrooms, and they do not move a cartridge into a job its sheet excludes. The range decision sits on the buying guide. EMICODE EC 1 Plus, which Beko claims for Pro4 and PSS, is an emission class. It does not mean the joint resists mould, and it does not mean the bead is waterproof.

Pro4 when you need a colour

For a mixed joint that is not food-contact and not a fire compartment, the three unrated Pro4 Premium colours are the straight buy. Medium brown B09YCZ9D8T, silver grey B09YCQL554 and walnut B09YCJ785V are each 310 ml at £14.99, listed for door, plastic, window and wood. None has a star line. Silver grey is the best value when the frame can be grey, at about half the PSS price. Brown is the timber shade in that family. Walnut is for a darker wood edge, and it will show on pale maple. The maker says Pro4 is not paintable. Beko’s Pro4 pages claim a fungicide, about 25% movement and no fringe discolouration on natural stone. Those sentences are missing from the three Amazon colour pages, and the pages disagree on tensile strength and top temperature. Read the cartridge label, and test stone on an offcut.

When the other three ranges win

White PSS, B00ZUT2YDW, at £29.99 and 4.5 from 13 ratings, is the listing when the suite is white and you want the sanitary name. Pergamon PSS, B00ZUT3GGQ, is the same price with 3.7 from two ratings, and a comment says the shade did not go towards pergamon. Skip PSS if you are paying extra only because it says premium, if the photo has to prove the colour, or if the joint is acrylic and you have no primer. Beko calls for primer on acrylic. The Amazon titles do not repeat the acetate cure, the XS1 class or the two-hour shower line. Wet-room choice is on the bathroom page. Food line B004XT4ETC wins only for a cured food-contact seal. The food-safe page holds the vinegar smell, the metals limit and the regulation. Fire line B004XSWMEW, grey, £21.95, 4.4 from 35 ratings, wins only inside its sheet. DIN 4102 B1 is not approval under Approved Document B, and the EI 240 line asks for a joint no larger than 15 mm wide and 10 mm deep.

The listing to treat carefully

B003NEU9MO is titled black Pro4, costs £14.90, and shows 4.5 from 542 ratings. The bullets call it fungicidal. People who liked it describe a thick bead on parquet and beech kitchen trim. People who checked the colour describe white, glitter, metallic and anthracite that turned aluminium-silver overnight. The manufacturer field is Cut360 UG, not Beko. Some cartridges were past the printed date and would not cure, or had gone hard in the tube. If you need silver grey, walnut or a reliable brown, use the unrated colour listings and accept that they have no reviews.

Common questions

Which single cartridge should I buy?
Buy for the joint, not for the star count. Silver grey Pro4 at £14.99 is the best value general cartridge in this set when grey will do. White PSS is the sanitary name at £29.99 if you accept a small rating sample. Food line 22701 is for a cured food-area joint. Nothing here is the best tube for every room.
Is the 4.6-star food silicone the best Beko?
It is the strongest rating in the set, 4.6 from 384, at £15.80. That makes it the top pick for a food-area seal once it has cured and the vinegar smell has gone. It is a poor bathroom cartridge, because the sheet says it is not fungicidal, and a poor glue.
Is 4.5 from 542 ratings a reason to buy the black title?
Only if black does not matter. Reviewers describe other colours, including a bead that turned silver, and the manufacturer is listed as Cut360 UG. The count shows that many people received a cartridge. It does not show that the cartridge was black Pro4.
Is PSS better because it costs £29.99?
A higher price is not a higher grade of Pro4. PSS is a different, sanitary, acetate-curing range on the maker’s sheet, with 13 ratings on white and two on pergamon. Pay it when you need that sanitary colour and you have checked the shade. Do not pay it for a window trim that silver grey Pro4 already covers at £14.99.
Which listing if I need walnut or silver grey?
Walnut is B09YCJ785V and silver grey is B09YCQL554, both Pro4 Premium at £14.99, both without a star line. You are matching the 224 colour code. There is no reviewed walnut or grey alternative in this set.
Who should skip the fire cartridge?
Skip 22803 if you are sealing a compartment, a food joint, or a bathroom. The £21.95 grey cartridge is for a small joint that stays inside the maker’s size limit. B1 on the listing is not a UK building-regulations sign-off.
Are the stars from UK buyers?
The figures are the amazon.co.uk star lines for these ASINs. The captured comments include short notes that are not written as UK reviews. Do not treat 4.6 or 4.5 as a British test panel.
