That is a retailer's escape guide, not a result for these kits. Dogs Trust adds that bins should not sit against the line as a step. A 102 cm run beside a road is over the usual 1 metre cap. What these listings are actually used for

Reviews describe a bed or a terrace. On Koknows, Shazyd1 wanted the two gate locks on 28 September 2026 because the dogs could not open them. On WELDUN, one buyer kept a puppy on a terrace, another kept dogs out of a bed, and Xavier returned the fence as flimsy. The file does not say which height arrived. P Moore tapped a 30 cm JonesHouseDeco line in about an hour so dogs were no longer walked onto the plants.

Height, gap and the gate

Koknows is the only printed gap: 5.5 cm, on a title of 102 cm by 7 m with a gate, at about £174.92. Reviews call that opening narrow. Nothing says the bottom is buried. Naming rabbits does not make the gap rabbit-proof. WELDUN, at about £24.99, prints 61 cm, 41 cm and 0.31 m, with no gap. JonesHouseDeco is 30 cm by 120 cm at about £25.99. A dog that steps over a low border steps over 30 cm. Stakes are not stated.

When this category is the wrong buy

If the dog already clears about a metre, buy a different category. A 30 cm insert will not stop that jump, and a panel that might be 31 cm, 41 cm or 61 cm is not a plan for it. A titled 102 cm run can still fail a dog that uses a bin as a step. This category is a bed line, and only when the dog treats it as one. There is no lab test. These kits are low borders and, in one case, a decorative run with a gate. How high is high enough for a jumping dog?
For a dog that jumps out of the garden, Healthy Pets and dogfence.co.uk talk about a tall boundary. About 1.8 m is that seller's guide for an average adult dog, and more if the dog is athletic. That is not these products. JonesHouseDeco is 30 cm. WELDUN prints 61 cm, 41 cm and 0.31 m. Koknows is titled at 102 cm, still under that escape guide and over the usual 1 metre cap beside a road.
Does the Koknows gate stop a dog?
Reviews call the gate narrow, and one household said the dogs could not open the two locks. That is one home, not every breed. The listing does not say the bottom is buried, and the printed gap is 5.5 cm. Other texts describe shorter panels, so confirm the box is the 102 cm set before you treat those locks as yours. The price is about £174.92.
Is 30 cm of wood a dog fence?
It is a bed marker. P Moore's review describes about an hour tapping the JonesHouseDeco insert into a small front garden, after which dogs were no longer walked onto the plants. A 30 cm line can change a passer-by. It does not hold a dog that steps over it. Stakes and a preservative are not stated. One reviewer reported rot after about a year in soil.
What about gaps and the bottom edge?
Koknows prints 5.5 cm. WELDUN and JonesHouseDeco do not print a gap you can use the same way. One review of the wooden insert mentions gaps of about 1 cm, which is one person's measurement. Nothing in the three listings says the bottom edge is buried. A dog that digs under the line, or a small animal that fits the printed gap, is outside what these pages can claim.
