Eufy doorbell buying guide

Updated: 22 October 2026

You are on amazon.co.uk with several eufy video doorbells open, and every title already says 2K. That shared line does not tell you whether your bell wires can feed the unit, where the clips will sit, or whether a chime is in the carton. This eufy doorbell buying guide keeps one order: power, then storage, then one camera or two, then the chime, and only then the stars. The [Eufy doorbell comparison](/hub/electronic-surveillance/eufy-doorbell) is the shelf of ASINs and prices from 19 October 2026. This is not a lab test.

Start with power, not with 2K

Every kept listing already prints 2K, so resolution will not sort this table. Power will. A C30 is a battery doorbell, and B0DQCYLD3M at £43.99 shows no wired mode. A C31 uses a 6,500 mAh pack. Its 24/7 recording and five-second pre-roll are tied to a hardwire, with the battery left in. The E340 UK page asks for 8–24 V and more than 10 VA, again with the pack installed. Those volts, and when a C31 records around the clock, sit on the eufy doorbell wired or battery page. Leave the star column until you have read the transformer label.

Then ask where the clips sit

Once power is clear, ask where a clip lives if you are not paying a monthly backup plan. On a C30 or C31 that stays on the router, that place is a microSD card up to 128 GB, often sold separately. Several E340 listings state 8 GB in the doorbell. HomeBase is optional on the C and E lines. On the S330 kit it is in the title, which you confirm against the carton. The S220, B09377VH3T at £105.00, prints 16 GB and 32 GB, so you do not average them. The account question is on the eufy doorbell with no subscription page.

One camera or two

The C30, the C31, and the S220 are single cameras. The C30 frame is 16:9 and the C31 frame is 4:3. The E340 and the S330 kit add a second camera aimed at the step. On 19 October 2026 the E340 rows ran from £89.99 on B0GCLVB29W to £139.00 on B0GH7KRSQQ. The S330 kit, B0GN8MRMCJ, was £165.89, with 4.6 from three ratings and no review text. UK write-ups describe misses on padded envelopes, with an app warning about parcels around 10 inches (25 cm) on the shortest side.

Chime in the carton, and which chimes are excluded

On the C30 manufacturer page that model does not run an existing mechanical chime, and it does not pair with the T8020 or the T8740 and T8742. The E340 UK page allows a mechanical chime, a HomeBase, MiniBase T8023, Alexa, or Google Assistant, and excludes those bases. B0DQCYLD3M has no chime. B0FVX8KDD5 at £79.99 includes Chime 2. B0G7YBYHGC at £125.98 includes Chime 2. B0DXF86WRB at £109.00 names a chime. B0GSFQL25B at £84.99 does not. A slash in the components line means the chime is unstated. Named rows are on the best eufy doorbell page.

Only then read the stars

B0DQCYLD3M and B0F9F46M1D are Amazon Renewed, with a one-year limited warranty on the listing. The Renewed C31 is 3.2 from 23. B0DXF86WRB, B09377VH3T, and B0GSFQL25B each show 4.1 from 20,952 because the blocks are one paste. B0FVX8KDD5 has its own 4.1 from 6,161. Several tables say 2.4 GHz only. B0G7YBYHGC claims 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and E340 reviews describe mesh routers that hide the 2.4 GHz name. A same-day eufy.com price, such as £89.99 for a C31, is a different shop.

Common questions

What should you check before you look at star ratings?
Check power first, then where the clips sit, then one camera or two, then whether a chime is in the carton. Every kept listing already says 2K. Stars come after those four questions, because two Renewed grades and a shared paste of 4.1 from 20,952 are easy to misread. Shelf figures here are from 19 October 2026.
Can every eufy doorbell run the ding-dong you already have?
The C30 manufacturer page says that model does not run an existing mechanical chime, and it does not pair with the T8020 or the T8740 and T8742. The E340 UK page allows a mechanical chime and excludes those same bases. A C31 24/7 mode is tied to bypassing the existing chime. A title that mentions a chime is weaker evidence than a components line that lists one.
Does 2K separate these models?
2K is already printed on every kept listing here, so it does not pick a row. The splits that change what you buy are power, storage, camera count, and the chime. A C30 picture is 16:9 and a C31 picture is 4:3, which is still a smaller decision than whether you can hardwire.
Where do the clips sit if you do not buy a HomeBase?
On a C30 or C31 that stays on the router, clips sit on a microSD card in the doorbell, up to 128 GB, and the card is often not in the box. Several E340 listings state 8 GB in the doorbell. The S220 page prints both 16 GB and 32 GB. You still use the eufy app, logged in, to watch the files.
Which listings are Amazon Renewed?
Two kept listings are Amazon Renewed: the C30 at B0DQCYLD3M, £43.99, and the C31 at B0F9F46M1D, £69.99. Both state a one-year limited warranty. The Renewed C31 is 3.2 from 23. A sealed C30 with Chime 2 at £79.99 is a different offer. If you need a new unit, or a chime in the box, leave those two rows.
Why do three ASINs share a review count of 20,952?
B0DXF86WRB, B09377VH3T, and B0GSFQL25B all show 4.1 from 20,952 because the review blocks are the same paste. You cannot rank those three ASINs against each other on that number. The new C30 with Chime 2 has its own line of 4.1 from 6,161. Use a count only when the file belongs to that listing.
