Which Trotec dehumidifier model to buy

Updated: 21 October 2026

You have three Trotec dehumidifier titles on amazon.co.uk, and the tables do not all agree with the manuals. Which Trotec dehumidifier model to buy comes down to the room you heat, the litres the listing claims, and whether the article number is the UK plug. This page is the decision tree for the TTK 26 E, the TTK 30 E, and the TTK 53 E in the [Trotec dehumidifier comparison](/hub/cooling/trotec-dehumidifier). It does not rank a winner. Peter F. read the three listings and the public Trotec manuals and 2024 brochure on 20 October 2026. There was no lab test. What these three actually are

All three are portable condensation dehumidifiers. They chill a coil, water drips into a tank, and they need a warm room. The manuals start at 5°C. The TTK 26 E manual says the unit may not start below that. The litre figures are maxima. The TTK 30 E manual ties 12 litres a day to 32°C and 80% relative humidity. The 2024 brochure's milder 30°C / 80% figures are 10 litres for the TTK 30 E and 8.56 litres for the TTK 26 E.

TTK 30 E, TTK 26 E, TTK 53 E

The TTK 30 E (B01H6W6PMG) is £186.77, at 12 litres a day for 15 m², a 2.2 litre tank, 0.27 kW, and 120 m³/h. It is the only table with a hygrostat, 30% to 80% in 5% steps, plus a condensate connection. The TTK 26 E (B07BQTMKXG) is £211.63, at 10 litres a day for 15 m² or 37 m³, with a 2.8 litre tank on the table and a blank hygrostat. The TTK 53 E (B01HMP1BPS) is £263.28, at 16 litres a day for 31 m², a 5.5 litre tank, and 195 m³/h. On 20 October 2026 dispatch was 6 to 7 months. Where the listing and the manual disagree

Keep both figures when they clash. Amazon says the TTK 26 E tank is 2.8 litres. The manual and the 2024 brochure say 1.8 litres. The TTK 30 E listing names a condensate connection and no hose. The manual includes a 0.3 m hose of 17 mm. Amazon prints 196 W and 15.2 kg for the TTK 53 E. The manual prints 0.24 kW and 12 kg. Amazon articles 1120000026 and 1120000034 match the EU-plug column. The UK articles are 1.120.010.026 and 1.120.010.034. None of the tables says BS 1363.

Which one to buy

Around 15 m², the listing case is the TTK 30 E: more stated extraction than the TTK 26 E, a hygrostat on the table, and the lower price. The TTK 26 E at £211.63 is the weak buy. Nearer 31 m², look at the TTK 53 E only if you can live with the 20 October 2026 dispatch window. Check the article number, not the voltage, on the UK plug page.

Common questions

Which Trotec model is for a 15 m² room?
For a heated room around 15 m², the amazon.co.uk case in this set is the TTK 30 E at £186.77, listed at 12 litres a day with a 2.2 litre tank and a hygrostat from 30% to 80%. The TTK 26 E is also listed at 15 m² or 37 m³, but at £211.63 and 10 litres a day. The 12 litre figure is a warm-room maximum at 32°C and 80% relative humidity.
Why is the TTK 26 E dearer on amazon than the TTK 30 E?
On these shelf prices the TTK 26 E is £211.63 and the TTK 30 E is £186.77. The dearer listing claims 10 litres a day. The cheaper one claims 12 litres a day and is the only table that states a hygrostat. Both show 4.3 stars. Nothing on the TTK 26 E table explains the extra pounds as more extraction.
Is 12 litres a day what a cool bedroom collects?
No. Twelve litres is the TTK 30 E maximum, and the manual attaches it to 32°C and 80% relative humidity. The 2024 brochure's 30°C / 80% figure for the same model is 10 litres, against that 12 litre maximum. A heated UK room at a normal living temperature is cooler than either test point, so the tank will not see the headline every day.
Can I trust the 2.8 litre tank on the TTK 26 E?
Not as a settled figure. The amazon.co.uk table says 2.8 litres. The English manual and the 2024 brochure say 1.8 litres. Until the tank is in your hand, the cautious plan is the smaller number. The TTK 30 E listing is consistent at 2.2 litres, and the TTK 53 E listing says 5.5 litres.
Is the TTK 53 E the one for a larger room?
It is the only listing here for about 31 m², at 16 litres a day, a 5.5 litre tank, and £263.28. The star line is 4.5 from 304 ratings. On 20 October 2026 amazon said dispatch within 6 to 7 months. The table leaves the hygrostat blank, so read the room-size line and ignore No brand.
Do these listings include a UK plug?
Do not assume they do. Articles 1120000026 and 1120000034 match Trotec's EU-plug column in the 2024 brochure, not UK articles 1.120.010.026 and 1.120.010.034. None of the three amazon tables prints BS 1363. The TTK 53 E article on the listing is 1120000043, and this file has no matching UK-plug article for that model. Voltage near 230 V does not prove the pin shape.
What if the room is below 5°C?
Leave all three switched off as a drying plan. The manuals start at 5°C, and the TTK 26 E manual says the unit may not start below that. A cold garage, a porch, or an unheated outbuilding is the mismatch. These are condensation machines. This set does not include a desiccant.
