Kränzle K 1050 vs HD 122

Updated: 21.10.2026

The bar numbers make a Kränzle K 1050 and a compact HD 122 look like the same washer with a different sticker. They are not. This Kränzle K 1050 vs HD 122 comparison is the fork between the house K 1050 and the HD 7/122 or HD 10/122 class, using amazon.co.uk prices from 19 October 2026 and the manufacturer sheets for flow and current. The [Kränzle pressure washer comparison](/hub/compressors/kraenzle-pressure-washer) still holds the full eight-row table, including the Quickly and the thin K 1152 listing, which this page only points back to. Products Compared did not run a side-by-side wash. A qualifying purchase through our links can earn us a commission at no extra cost to you.

What the names mean

K 1050 is the house series. The portable K 1050 P is £531.95, with 130 bar, 7.5 litres a minute, an 8 m hose, and 22.6 kg. The K 1050 TST at £765 adds a reel, 450 litres an hour, a 12 m hose, and 28.7 kg. Kränzle’s K 1050 TS sheet lists 130 bar working, 160 bar admissible, 450 litres an hour and 9.6 A at 2,800 rpm. Total Stop is in that sheet’s name, not the K 1050 P title. HD 122 is the compact family. Kränzle UK also calls the HD 7/122 a K 7/122, which is why the amazon titles say K7/122 and K10/122. The TS sheets share 30 to 120 bar working and a 135 bar peak. The four rows here are the K10/122 at £780, the K7/122 at £799.90, the K10/122 TS at £820, and the K7/122 TS at £853 with a stated 22 kg.

Flow, current, and weight

The K 1050 is about 450 litres an hour and 9.6 A on the sheet. The HD 7/122 TS is about 420 litres an hour and 7.5 A, at 1,400 rpm, and the amazon card states 22 kg at £853. The HD 10/122 TS is about 600 litres an hour and 11 A at 2,800 rpm. The amazon K10/122 TS card states 600 litres an hour at £820 and does not state a weight. Those amps belong to the TS sheets. Do not write 7.5 A or 11 A onto part 600001 or part 6000051. 1960 psi on an HD card is about 135 bar, the peak on the sheet, while the working range printed there is 30 to 120 bar. A K 1050 card that says 130 bar, with 160 bar maximum in a bullet, is in the same region. What you gain on the HD 10/122 is water: 600 litres an hour against 450. The tap still has to beat the outlet.

When the K 1050

Choose the K 1050 P at £531.95, or the TST at £765 if the reel is the point, when the job is cars, a patio, and occasional hours at home. You get a complete card, about 9.6 A on the sheet, and 7.5 litres a minute. The HD 7/122, at about 7 litres a minute, is slightly under that flow.

When the HD

Choose the HD 10/122 class, the K10/122 at £780 or the K10/122 TS at £820, when 600 litres an hour earns the time back and you accept about 11 A on the TS sheet. Choose the HD 7/122 when you need the 1.5 m suction Kränzle UK publishes for that family, or a slower 1,400 rpm motor on a generator. If the lead on a 13 A point would be long, read the 13 A supply page before you choose the 11 A machine. If the water is a butt, the HD 7/122’s suction is the published figure, and the K 1050 does not inherit it. The buying guide keeps the wider order of decision.

Common questions

Is a K7/122 the same machine as an HD 7/122?
Kränzle UK uses both names for that compact family. On amazon.co.uk the titles say K7/122 and K7/122 TS. The HD 7/122 TS sheet is the one that states 420 litres an hour, 7.5 A, 1,400 rpm, and the 30 to 120 bar working band. The non-TS amazon card states 7 litres a minute and 1960 psi, and it does not print the amp figure, so you keep that 7.5 A on the TS sheet.
Which one can I run from a water butt?
The HD 7/122 family is the one Kränzle UK credits with 1.5 m of suction, using the cap and liner for that duty. Do not give that height to the K 1050. If your model sheet is silent, feed it from a tap that passes the one-minute test rather than from a deep butt.
Which one is kinder to a 13 A socket?
On the published sheets, the HD 7/122 TS at about 7.5 A has the most spare, then the K 1050 at about 9.6 A, then the HD 10/122 TS at about 11 A. The non-TS amazon pages do not print amps. A coiled extension removes that spare quickly, which is why the supply page asks for a short, thick, fully unwound lead.
Do I need Total Stop?
You need it if you often drop the trigger and want the motor to stop, and you should buy a card that says Total Stop, such as the K10/122 TS or the K7/122 TS. You do not need it for a short car wash if you are willing to switch the motor off when you pause. The K 1050 P title does not claim it.
Will either of them include a patio cleaner?
Do not assume a patio cleaner is in the carton. The K 1050 TST bullets name a gun and a dirt killer, and the K 1152 title names a Dirt Killer, which is a lance claim on that page, not a surface cleaner for the whole set. Check the included-components line on the listing you buy. On several of these cards that line only says pressure washer.
