FLEX angle grinder buying guide

Updated: October 2026

You already want a FLEX, and the amazon.co.uk grid still mixes a 12 V mini with 125 mm mains tools. This FLEX angle grinder buying guide sorts the six saved listings by disc class and supply before any feature. Five rows are 125 mm and corded, from £75.00 to £286.76. One row is a 76 mm, 12 V body at £136.44. None is a 230 mm grinder, and none is a 110 V site tool. Prices stay on the [Flex angle grinder comparison](/hub/tools/flex-angle-grinder). We mapped the saved rows on 21 October 2026 and did not run the tools. A qualifying purchase can earn us a commission at no extra cost to you.

125 mm corded or 76 mm 12 V

Five listings are 125 mm and corded. Order 531717 is the 76 mm LBE 76 at £136.44, brushless, 5,000–20,000 rpm. A 125 mm flap disc is the wrong job for it. Corded prices run £75.00 to £286.76. £75.00 is the floor of this FLEX set. A wider 115 mm band sits nearer £26 to £68. Screwfix pairs about 2,000 W with a 230 mm disc and about 38 mm of cut with 125 mm. That watt badge does not make a 125 mm FLEX larger.

What each order number prints

Order 532609 at £75.00 states 1,100 W, a soft start, a spindle lock, and a tool-less guard, and it does not state voltage or rpm. A manual prints 220–240 V and 12,000 rpm. That stays the manual. The weight cell says 3.16 kg. Order 447676 at £166.04 prints 230 V, 1,200 W in, 700 W out, 11,500 rpm, and a cut-out. The size cell is 50 × 50 × 28 cm. Order 495255 at £241.26 prints 1,300 W and 10,000 rpm, and EC is not a brushless bullet. Order 534017 at £273.36 prints a 3.5-second brake, no rpm, and 100 g. Order 534016 at £286.76 adds 3,000–11,000 rpm. Soft start is not copied onto 534016.

2,000 W is still 125 mm

Orders 534017 and 534016 print 2,000 W and are titled 125 mm. FLEX keeps one as the fixed-speed twin and one as the variable twin. Screwfix's about 38 mm is the 125 mm class. A paving slab needs a 230 mm grinder, which is not in this set. The L 1100 at 1,100 W is the same disc class.

110 V is a catalogue gap

None of these six is a 110 V site grinder. UK mains are 230 V. A yellow lead is not a reason to plug in a 230 V title, or to guess at the L 1100. The LE 15-11 125 110/BS-4h, at 1,350 W and 2,800–11,500 rpm, is not in this basket. No row confirms a BS 1363 plug. Then follow how to use a FLEX angle grinder.

Common questions

Are all six listings 125 mm?
No. Five are 125 mm corded tools: orders 532609, 447676, 495255, 534017, and 534016, from £75.00 to £286.76. Order 531717 is the LBE 76 12-EC C at £136.44, and the model name is 76 mm. A 125 mm disc is the wrong wheel for that body. The corded-versus-12 V page is where the bore and the missing pack are set out.
Is the £136.44 box a complete 12 V kit?
The amazon included line says "Battery angle grinder" and does not name a pack size or a charger. The bullets add starter discs, a belt clip, and a cut-off hood. FLEX's UK page for the LBE 76 says delivery does not include a battery and charger. Treat £136.44 as the saved price of that listing, not as proof that a 2.5 Ah pack is in the carton.
Does 2,000 W mean I can cut like a 230 mm grinder?
No. Orders 534017 and 534016 print 2,000 W and 125 mm in the same title. Screwfix pairs about 2,000 W with a 230 mm disc, and about 38 mm of depth with 125 mm. The watt figure does not change the disc class. A paving-depth cut needs a 230 mm grinder, which is not in this set.
Which of these ASINs is 110 V for site?
None. The 110 V FLEX in the UK catalogue is the LE 15-11 125 110/BS-4h, shown at 1,350 W in and 2,800–11,500 rpm, and it is not one of these six ASINs. Several titles here say 230 V. The L 1100 listing does not say a voltage at all. Do not put a 230 V listing on a yellow 110 V lead.
Why is the L 1100 listing silent on rpm when a manual is not?
The amazon.co.uk file for order 532609 has no voltage cell and no rpm cell. A manual PDF for that order prints 220–240 V and 12,000 rpm. Use the manual figure only as the manual. Do not type it back into the listing as if Amazon had printed it. The saved price and the 1,100 W line are the listing; the speed is not.
Can I treat the L 13-10 title EC as brushless?
No. Order 495255 is titled L 13-10 125-EC, and the bullets do not say brushless. They say value for money, easy to use, and durable and design. Brushless is printed on the LBE 76 and on orders 534016 and 534017. Leave EC as two letters in a title until a bullet on that same ASIN says otherwise.
Is £75.00 a budget grinder or only the floor of this brand set?
It is the floor of this brand set. Order 532609, the L 1100 125, is the lowest saved FLEX price here at £75.00. Other brands in a wider 115 mm band sit nearer £26 to £68, so this row is not the cheapest angle grinder on the market. It is the cheapest of these six FLEX listings, with no rpm and no voltage in the amazon file.
