Unifizz is 32 mm outside and 200 mm, TOP-VIGOR is 40 mm outside and 0.35 m, and BroLuka is a 200 mm title with no reviews. Kesote is 7 mm by 9 mm and 3 m at £4.99, TA-VIGOR is 9 mm by 12 mm and 2 m, and Dcizlont is 8 mm by 11 mm and 10 m at £11.69. A 25 mm pipe will not replace a nominal 32 mm basin waste. Diameter, length, and wall
Solvent-weld waste is named by a nominal size, and the outside is larger than that name. JDP's table puts nominal 32 mm, 40 mm, and 50 mm at about 36 mm, 43 mm, and 56 mm outside. Clear tube here is inside by outside. Kesote's 7 by 9 mm is a 7 mm bore.
This set is 200 mm and 350 mm sticks, 1 m of black waste, and 2 m, 3 m, or 10 m of small clear tube. A 3 m length of 40 mm waste is not here. Wall is about 2.5 mm on the waste listing and 1 mm on the ducts. Do not bury a 1 mm duct. TA-VIGOR states -5 °C to 60 °C and 0.2 MPa, Dcizlont states 5 bar, and Kesote states neither. Where UK rules stop a DIY buy
Approved Document H lists PVC-U sanitary pipework to BS EN 1329 and PVC-C waste to BS EN 1566. Kalsi, citing that document, gives unventilated branches of up to 1.7 m on 32 mm, up to 3.0 m on 40 mm, and up to 4.0 m on 50 mm.

Approved Document F wants rigid duct on an intermittent extract, kept to 2.0 m where practical, and it does not name 100 mm. Call a plumber or a ventilation fitter for a soil stack, a buried drain, a sewer connection, wholesome supply, a specified boiler condensate, or an extract that has to meet Approved Document F.
What this set cannot be
None of the nine prints BS EN 1329, BS EN 1566, BS EN ISO 1452, or a WRAS number. Henderson’s size chart places a 25 mm outside diameter in the metric pressure column, not in domestic solvent-weld waste. It does not make eco-filtration a pressure pipe to BS EN ISO 1452-2, which this listing does not claim.
BroLuka’s title reads as a short rigid pipe, and the components line says natural latex rubber tubing, with no review to settle it. Below-ground drainage to BS EN 1401 is a neighbouring category, not a basin job.
Common questions
Is every PVC pipe on amazon.co.uk the same job?
No. In this set the same search returns a 25 mm solvent-weld waste length, 100 mm ventilation duct, short sleeves, and clear flexible tube. They do not share a joint or a diameter system. A high star rating on the duct does not describe the waste pipe. Name the job before you sort by price.
Do I measure inside or outside diameter?
Match the number the fitting uses. Solvent-weld waste is sold by nominal size and is larger outside than that name: JDP’s example is about 36 mm outside for nominal 32 mm. Clear tube here is labelled inside by outside, so 7 by 9 mm is a 7 mm bore. Swapping those readings is how a joint that looks close refuses to go together.
Is 32 mm or 40 mm the usual waste size in a UK home?
B&Q's guide treats 32 mm as the usual small basin waste and 40 mm as baths, showers, and kitchen sinks. The black pipe in this set states 25 mm outside and 1 m. It is not that 32 mm or 40 mm system.
Can I use a 100 mm duct offcut as waste pipe?
The Kair and Fantronix rows are 100 mm inside, 350 mm long, with a 1 mm wall and female ends for duct fittings. That is a fan sleeve, not a solvent-weld waste. The wall is too thin to bury, and the diameter is not 32 mm or 40 mm. A short offcut also does not show that an extract meets Approved Document F.
Does food-grade or FDA mean I can plumb drinking water?
No. Wholesome fittings sit under the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, and a WRAS approval is for one product, often cold water only, and it expires. A food-contact line on a coil is the seller’s claim. It is not a Water Fittings approval, and none of these nine prints a WRAS number.
When should I stop and call a plumber?
Stop when the run is a soil stack, a buried drain, a sewer connection, any pipe on the drinking supply, a condensate line the boiler maker specifies, or an extract that has to meet Approved Document F. A 350 mm duct and a 1 m waste length are short pieces. They are not evidence that the whole system is adequate.
