Best ZZ plant in this set

Updated: October 2026

You want a best ZZ plant, and this basket will not give you one by stars. Three of the five amazon.co.uk listings show 5.0 from a single review, and two have no customer-reviews line. A score of 100 in the table is that star line times 20. It is not a test. The [ZZ plant comparison](/hub/plant-accessories/zz-plant) shows the rows. This page says who each listing is for, and who should leave it. Arrival checks live on the [buying guide](/hub/plant-accessories/zz-plant/sub/zz-plant-buying-guide). The Products Compared editorial team used the listings captured on 15 October 2026. We did not trial these plants. A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Why this set has no star winner

A top pick on stars needs the highest amazon.co.uk review count at 4.4 or above with at least 20 reviews. Nothing here reaches that. Plantster, B0GHPS8QJH, is the only file with review text: it arrived in good condition, suits a windowsill, and forgives a missed watering. That is one delivery, not a season of growth. Both Carbeth listings show 5.0 from one review and contain no review text. Easy Plants and the generic 17 cm listing have no star line. Best here means a title you can trust for the job you have. It does not mean pet-safe. The Royal Horticultural Society classes the plant as harmful if eaten. If a cat or dog shares the room, read ZZ plants and pets before you shorten the list.

Who the £14.99 plant is for

Plantster is the lowest shelf price, at £14.99, and the title names Zamioculcas zamiifolia at about 35 cm in a 12 cm pot. Origin is printed as the United Kingdom. Open it first if the seller will confirm one plant at one height. The expected-height field says 25 cm, and the item, piece, and unit counts are 3 against a singular title. Planter colour says terracotta and the container material says plastic. Bullets say minimal watering and the moisture field says moderate. A value pick would need the lowest price at 4.4 or above with at least 20 reviews, and a spec that does not fight itself. One kind review does not repair a count of three. Skip it if the listing must state a single plant once. For a dark hallway, the low-light page is the placement note, and you should still buy the size you want to see.

Who the Carbeth pots are for

The single, B0HDZYPSH3, is £17.99 for one Zamioculcas zamiifolia in a 12 cm pot, and the item count matches. Choose it if you want one named nursery pot and can accept no height, no weight, and no review text. Ignore the air-purification line: there is no measurement. The indoor/outdoor field says Outdoor. Treat that as a catalogue field on an H1B houseplant, not as permission to leave it on a patio in January. The pair, B0HDZQPR3J, is £28.99 and is the only multi-pack. The title says two 12 cm pots and Number of Items is 2. Two singles at £17.99 would be £35.98. Unit Count is 1.0, there is no height, and the hero image and rank numbers match the single. A page question on pets is unanswered. Buy the pair for one checkout of two small pots, after you have looked at the shared photo. Skip both if you need a stated height before you pay.

What to skip

Skip B0DZ3W12ZG if you are buying on the spec block. The title says a 17 cm ZZ plant at £28.00. The weight field says 2 g, and other bullets describe rosettes and trailing types. Colour is See description. There is no star line. Skip Easy Plants, B07G5KRRX8, at £21.99 if you need Zamioculcas on the listing. It is an aroid palm, 40–45 cm including a 13 cm ceramic pot, filed as a tree. Raven (Dowon) is not among these titles. Confirm plantster if you want the lowest price and can live with a messy spec, or take the Carbeth single if you want one named 12 cm pot and can live without a height.

Common questions

Which of these five should I buy?
If you need a named ZZ plant and the lowest price, open B0GHPS8QJH at £14.99 and confirm it is one plant, not three, at one height.
Is 5.0 from one review meaningful?
It means one person left five stars. On plantster, the text says the plant arrived well and suits a windowsill. On both Carbeth listings there is no text in the file.
Is the cheapest listing the best value?
£14.99 is the lowest price, and the title names the species and a 12 cm pot. The height field says 25 cm against about 35 cm in the title, and the counts say three pieces.
Is the Carbeth pair better than buying the single twice?
On price, £28.99 is less than £17.99 twice. On evidence, the pair repeats the single's image and rank, sets unit count to 1.0, and still has no height.
Which listing should I skip?
Skip B0DZ3W12ZG when the weight says 2 g and the bullets describe mixed succulent forms. Skip B07G5KRRX8 when you need the listing to say Zamioculcas zamiifolia.
Can you call one of them a top pick?
A top pick in the star sense would need a review count these files do not have. You can still choose a listing for a job: lowest named price, one 12 cm pot, or a pair.
