The two kits are not steamers

The £13.99 Swiflee and Co kit is 500 ml of Bartoline, a 6 inch scraper, a sponge and nitrile gloves, at 4.1 from 84 reviews. One review diluted a quarter of the bottle in 4.5 L, waited 15 minutes, and pulled sheets on a stair. The £18.99 page disagrees with itself: the title says 2 × 500 ml, a bullet says 1 × 500 ml, and the scraper is both 4 inch and 6 inch. Neither kit boils water. A scored feature wall belongs on the wallpaper steamer vs chemical stripper page. If you came for a steamer, skip both.

Wagner SteamForce and SteamForce Plus

The base Wagner SteamForce, at £33.00, prints 2,000 W, 230 V, a 4 L tank, a maximum of 70 minutes and a 3.7 m hose, with 4.5 from 2,386 reviews. The amazon title does not add a scraper or a small plate. There is no on/off switch. For open walls, with your own knife, this is the lowest steamer price in the folder. The Plus, at £34.99, prints the same power, tank, time and hose. The title adds a scraper and a small plate. That £1.99 is the plate, not more watts. Several call the scraper useless, and the extract includes one fire report. Choose the Plus for reveals and sockets. Skip it on open walls.

BLACK+DECKER KX3300T-GB

The KX3300T-GB is £39.99 with 4.6 from 4,917 reviews, the longest star line here. The bullet says 2,400 W, a 4 L tank, up to 60 minutes, a 3.6 m hose and a boil-dry cut-out. Ordinary paper came off faster than a sponge in reviews. Painted woodchip still needed a score, and a long dwell cracked plaster. The same amazon file prints 12 Volts and 2,400 Amps beside that bullet. Do not buy it as 12 V. Skip it if you need the amazon page alone to show 230 V. Keep it if you have read the UK product page and you will test a plaster patch.

Draper and the two VLOXO listings

The Draper Storm Force 08090 is £44.87, 4.4 from 157, and it prints 230 V, 2,000 W, a 4 L tank, about 60 minutes, a 3 m hose and a cut-out at 115°C. The fault theme is early failure, including an element that burnt out in six weeks. Choose it for a printed 230 V line and a stated cut-out. Skip it if a dead element would strand the job. Both VLOXO listings are WP002B and do not print a voltage. One green review reported the wrong adaptor. Skip both unless you have seen a UK 3-pin plug rather than a travel adaptor.

A conditional pick

For a normal house of open wall, the base Wagner SteamForce at £33.00 is the pick: 230 V is on the title, the hose is the longest printed here, and 2,386 reviews is a large UK sample. You bring your own knife, and you do not need a small plate. Reveals and sockets move to the Plus at £34.99, still with your own knife. The BLACK+DECKER is the alternative if you want the longest star line and can live with the 12 V block. A missing switch means you unplug to stop.

Common questions

Which steamer is the one to buy for a normal house?
For open walls, the Wagner SteamForce at £33.00, with 2,000 W, 230 V, 4 L and a 3.7 m hose. That is a condition, not a lab crown: you need your own stripping knife, and you do not need the small plate. Several rooms of ordinary paper fit that listing better than a £13.99 bottle. Painted woodchip still needs a score, whatever the brand.
Is the Plus worth £1.99 more than the base SteamForce?
Yes, if you need the small plate the Plus title names, for reveals and sockets. No, if the walls are open. The power, tank, claimed minutes and hose length are the same. Reviews call the included scraper weak, and the components field does not repeat the plate, so the £1.99 buys a title promise you should check in the box.
Why is the BLACK+DECKER dearer than the Wagner if both have a 4 L tank?
You are paying for a 2,400 W bullet, a 4.6 line from 4,917 reviews, a boil-dry cut-out and a slightly shorter 3.6 m hose, at £39.99 against £33.00. You are not paying for a cleaner voltage line. The amazon file still prints 12 V beside that bullet. A 4 L tank is the shared part, not the whole comparison.
Should I skip VLOXO because of the reviews?
Skip both colours unless you have seen a UK 3-pin plug, because voltage is not printed and one green review mentioned the wrong adaptor. The review themes also repeat early stoppages, fuse trips and hose faults, beside praise when the steam did arrive. The green box line is clearer than the blue. Neither is the default for a whole house in this folder.
Can I call any of these a test winner?
No. Nothing here is a laboratory test, a square-metre trial, or a market ranking. The conditional pick is the base SteamForce for open walls because of the printed 230 V, the 3.7 m hose and the size of the review sample. A different room, a small plate, or a voltage line you will not trust changes that pick.
