The top pick in this set is the SDS215S because the bandwidth and the record length are the ones that match.

SDS215S, and who should skip it

At £209.93 the SDS215S is a mains bench scope with a 7-inch TFT. The bullets add FFT and 30 automatic measurements, and they say batteries are not required. The listing does not itemise probes or a BS 1363 plug. The single review, dated 16 December 2025 and marked as the United States, says the generator cable connects to the oscilloscope input only. A 2025 forum post reports a loud fan and a jumping knob, then a return. One post is not a defect rate. The SDS1102 on owon.co.uk at £225 is outside this set.

The HDS2102 is the best value in this set only as the cheapest meter-scope, at £180.00. You get a 20,000-count true-RMS meter, a 3.5-inch colour LCD, an 8K record, and an 18650 battery with about 6 hours. The generator is limited to HDS2xxS models, so it is absent. The title, one bullet, and OWON’s column do not agree on bandwidth. The screen and battery trade-off is on handheld or bench.

SDS1022 only if 20 MHz is enough

The SDS1022 costs £181.00 and the title says 100 MHz and 1 GS/s. OWON’s table and owon.co.uk rate it at 20 MHz and 100 MS/s, at £189 on owon.co.uk. Buy it only if that is the specification you wanted. The box lists two probes and an English quick guide. A line also says a lithium metal battery is included, beside a stated 10 W, so those lines disagree.

What none of them is

None of the three is a four-channel scope, and none of the amazon.co.uk files states a CAT rating. CE and RoHS are not a measurement category, and Northern Ireland still expects CE. That is a market rule, not proof that a ground clip may touch 230 V. The amazon series bullet spans 20 MHz to 200 MHz, which is the family, not a single figure for this model. Treat the unit as 20 MHz and 100 MS/s unless the scope in front of you shows otherwise.
Is the HDS2102 70 MHz or 100 MHz?
The title says 100 MHz. One bullet says bandwidth up to 70 MHz. OWON’s HDS2102 column says 100 MHz and 1 GSa/s, while the listing’s sample rate is 250 MSa/s. Those sources disagree, and this page does not pick one of them. The meter, the 8K record, and the missing generator are the parts of the listing that do not depend on settling that clash.
Who should skip the SDS215S?
Skip it if you need UK review texts, a confirmed probe in the box, or a scope that runs away from a mains socket. The only review text is from the United States, and it says the generator lead connects to the scope input only. Skip it as well if you need a page that states 100 MHz for that exact model.
