Top pick: Weber Premium tool set with drip pans Best value: Weber two-piece grill set (3401326) – A capable tongs-and-turner pair at the lowest listed price, £19.99, with a 4.8 average from 136 reviews, stronger evidence than the one-review bundles. Updated October 2026.

A Weber barbecue tool set is a small kit for a barbecue you already own. The griddle starter is a spatula, a scraper and a squeeze bottle, and it does not include tongs. Match the length and the contents to the grill you have: a kettle, a long gas barbecue, a or a flat plate. A useful listing states a length and a readable model code, such as 6645 or 6764. One portable listing prints two model codes, so the model number matters more than the title. The [Weber barbecue tool set buying guide](/hub/grills-and-barbecues/weber-barbecue-tool-set/sub/weber-barbecue-tool-set-buying-guide) sets the order: length, contents and cooking surface, before price. A three-piece grill set adds a silicone basting brush. Drip pans or a mitt do not change the tong. A silicone baster is not a wire grate brush. On Weber UK, model 6645 is a 35.5 cm spatula and 38 cm tongs.

The best Weber barbecue tool sets in detail

Weber Premium tool set with drip pans

Rank 1

Weber Premium tool set with drip pans

∼£31

Our view

This £30.70 bundle combines a two-tool grill set with ten small aluminium drip pans. The pans can catch fat under a grill, but they do not turn the package into a ten-tool set despite the listing's confusing piece count. Its displayed 5.0 rating comes from one review, with no review text to show whether buyers repeatedly praise or criticise the tools. The listing says the tools are dishwasher safe and names charcoal, gas and portable grills. No tool length is stated in centimetres, so the compact-travel wording is not enough to establish reach. This package makes sense when the drip pans are immediately useful; judged only as a tool purchase, better-supported pairs are available for less.

Pros

  • Tongs and turner supplied with ten drip pans
  • Listing says dishwasher safe
  • Broad listed grill compatibility
  • Modest £30.70 bundle price

Cons

  • 5.0 rating is based on one review
  • Piece count can be mistaken for ten tools
  • No centimetre tool length
  • No review text on the listing

Best for: A buyer who needs a basic grill pair and small drip pans at the same time.

Less suitable: Anyone comparing tool quality alone or needing a brush or documented long reach.

Common questions

Is this set dishwasher safe on the listing?

The listing attribute says Yes.

Do the tongs lock?

A product bullet says hands-free locking tongs.

Are there ten tools in the box?

The title count can be read as ten tools. The bundle is a two-tool grill set plus ten small aluminium drip pans, model code 6415 in the title.

Weber Premium tool set with lighter cubes

Rank 2

Weber Premium tool set with lighter cubes

∼£30

Our view

This listing pairs a compact two-piece Weber grill set with natural lighter cubes for £29.50. The tools cover turning and gripping, while the cubes are intended for lighting briquettes under a chimney starter, including in less settled weather. Its displayed 5.0 rating is based on only one review, so it is not stronger evidence than the lower star averages backed by hundreds or thousands of reviews. The listing does not give a centimetre length and supplies no review text from which to judge repeated strengths or faults. It does say the tools are dishwasher safe and suitable across gas, charcoal and electric grills. Buy this bundle only if you need the lighter cubes as well as the tools; otherwise the extra spend is difficult to justify from the available evidence.

Pros

  • Core tongs-and-turner set
  • Natural lighter cubes included
  • Listing says dishwasher safe
  • Listing names gas, charcoal and electric grills

Cons

  • 5.0 rating is based on one review
  • No tool length in centimetres
  • No review text on the listing

Best for: A charcoal-grill owner who needs a basic tool pair and lighter cubes in one purchase.

Less suitable: Evidence-led buyers or anyone who already has a reliable lighting method.

Weber Precision three-piece set (6772)

Rank 3

Weber Precision three-piece set (6772)

∼£54

Our view

The Precision 6772 adds a silicone basting brush to the tongs and spatula, giving you all three common grate-cooking tools. It carries a 4.8 amazon.co.uk rating from 783 reviews and a listed price of £53.81. The listing calls the fit universal across gas, charcoal and electric grills, while its 58 cm carton suggests more storage demand than the compact sets. The listing says the tools are dishwasher safe, but the tong lock is supported by non-UK review wording rather than a clear product bullet. An international-listing notice also warns that products sold from abroad may differ in fit, labelling or instructions. This is a well-supported three-piece option, though UK-specific review evidence is weaker than the headline count implies. Choose it when the brush matters and you can accommodate the larger pack.

Pros

  • Tongs, spatula and basting brush included
  • 4.8 rating from 783 reviews
  • Listing says dishwasher safe
  • Broad listed grill compatibility

Cons

  • International-listing terms reduce UK confidence
  • No stated individual tool length
  • Tong-lock evidence is not clearly from the listing

Best for: Regular gas or charcoal grilling when you want a brush as well as tongs and a turner.

Less suitable: Compact storage, plate-only cooking or buyers who want strongly UK-specific review evidence.

Common questions

Is this set dishwasher safe on the listing?

The listing attribute says Yes.

Do the tongs lock?

The bullets do not state a lock. A review describes a one-handed locking mechanism. That is a review, not a listing line.

The listing shows 783 ratings. The review texts in this scrape are not UK-based, and a bullet warns that stock from abroad may differ.

Weber Griddle Starter Set (6777)

Rank 4

Weber Griddle Starter Set (6777)

∼£50

Our view

The 6777 is a specialist flat-plate kit containing a spatula, scraper and squeeze bottle rather than grill tongs. At £49.97, it targets griddle owners who need to turn food, move residue and dispense oil with tools shaped for a plate. Its 4.8 rating from 204 amazon.co.uk reviews gives it a meaningful evidence base for a specialist set. A UK review reports a handle melting after it was left against the hot griddle edge, so the handles need to stay clear of the cooking surface. The UK listing marks the set as not dishwasher safe, although some reviews report dishwasher use. That conflict is not settled here, so follow the more cautious listing line. At 898 g with a 43.5 cm carton, it is a substantial kit, but it does not replace tongs for cooking over open grill bars.

Pros

  • Purpose-built spatula, scraper and squeeze bottle
  • 4.8 rating from 204 reviews
  • Designed for most griddles
  • Three distinct flat-plate jobs covered

Cons

  • No grill tongs
  • UK listing says not dishwasher safe
  • A UK review reports a handle melting on the hot edge

Best for: Plancha and griddle cooking where a broad spatula, scraper and dispensing bottle are useful.

Less suitable: Barbecue grates, buyers expecting tongs or anyone likely to rest handles on the hot plate.

Common questions

Is this set dishwasher safe on the listing?

The amazon.co.uk attribute says No. Several reviews say they use a dishwasher anyway. The listing and those reviews disagree, so this page does not treat dishwasher safety as settled.

Do the tongs lock?

This set does not include tongs. The set-includes-tongs attribute says No.

Weber two-piece grill set (3401326)

Rank 5

Weber two-piece grill set (3401326)

∼£20

Our view

This two-piece set gives you the core turner-and-tongs combination for £19.99 without paying for bundle extras. Its listed 457 mm long edge places it between the shortest compact tools and the much larger Precision cartons, so it should suit an ordinary charcoal grill better than a tightly packed travel kit. The amazon.co.uk rating is 4.8 from 136 reviews, a useful evidence base but much smaller than that of model 6645. The listing says the tools are dishwasher safe. A bullet line and another listing field do not agree on whether the tongs lock. At 470 g, it is heavier than the 290 g compact 6645 set. Choose it when low cost and straightforward grate cooking matter more than a brush or documented tool lengths.

Pros

  • Low listed price of £19.99
  • 4.8 rating from 136 reviews
  • Turner and tongs cover core grill work
  • Listing says dishwasher safe

Cons

  • No basting brush
  • Tool lengths are not stated separately
  • Listing details about the tong lock are not fully consistent

Best for: Everyday charcoal-grill cooking when you want a simple two-tool set at the lowest listed price.

Less suitable: Basting, flat-plate scraping or buyers who need a precisely documented length.

Weber Premium compact tool set (6645)

Rank 6

Weber Premium compact tool set (6645)

∼£26

Our view

The Premium compact 6645 combines 38 cm tongs with a 35 cm turner, so its reach is clearly documented rather than inferred from a carton. It has the strongest evidence base in this group at 4.7 from 5,512 amazon.co.uk reviews. UK feedback is split: many buyers value the practical compact format, while a minority describe thin pressed steel, side play or a handle coming loose. Food can also lodge inside the tongs, which makes thorough washing more important. The listed weight is only 290 g and the listing says both tools are dishwasher safe. At £26.04, it costs more than the entry pair but remains far below the listed prices of the Precision three-piece sets. It is the top pick because it balances known dimensions, broad review evidence and a sensible price, not because it is free of durability complaints.

Pros

  • 38 cm tongs and 35 cm turner stated in the title
  • 4.7 rating from 5,512 reviews
  • Light 290 g set
  • Listing says dishwasher safe

Cons

  • Some UK reviews report thin steel or side play
  • A handle coming loose is reported
  • Food can collect inside the tongs

Best for: Small and medium grills when you want proven compact tools with clearly stated lengths.

Less suitable: Very deep gas barbecues or buyers wanting a basting brush in the box.

Weber Precision three-piece set (6764)

Rank 7

Weber Precision three-piece set (6764)

∼£63

Our view

The Precision 6764 provides tongs, a spatula and a basting brush for £62.99. Its 57.8 cm carton places it in the long-tool group, despite a listing bullet that also describes it as compact and travel-sized. The 4.7 amazon.co.uk rating is backed by 420 reviews, including UK praise for use on larger four- or six-burner grills. UK criticism includes a shipment arriving with only two of the three pieces, and another warning that the steel tools can scratch a Teflon-type electric cooking surface. The listing says the set is dishwasher safe and suitable for gas and charcoal grills. Nearly 1 kg of listed weight and the long carton make it less convenient for a small portable barbecue. It suits a deep conventional grill, provided you check the box contents promptly and do not use the steel edges on a vulnerable non-stick plate.

Pros

  • Three-piece set includes a basting brush
  • 4.7 rating from 420 reviews
  • Long format suits larger grills
  • Listing says dishwasher safe

Cons

  • UK report of only two pieces arriving
  • Steel tools may scratch non-stick electric plates
  • Large 57.8 cm carton and 998 g weight

Best for: Four- or six-burner gas barbecues and larger charcoal grills where extra reach is useful.

Less suitable: Portable grills, tight storage or non-stick electric cooking plates.

Weber portable two-piece tool set

Rank 8

Weber portable two-piece tool set

∼£20

Our view

The portable two-piece set keeps a turner and tongs within a listed 37.5 cm long edge, making storage easier beside a small grill. Its 4.6 rating comes from 32 amazon.co.uk reviews, so the evidence is thinner and slightly less positive than for the other core pairs. UK reviews include praise for use with a Go-Anywhere, but also a complaint that the tools felt too short. The listing says the set is dishwasher safe and names portable and small grills as its intended fit. A model conflict reduces confidence: the model number is 3400213 while the manufacturer part number is printed as 3401326. At £19.99 it is inexpensive, but you should choose it for compactness rather than assume it offers enough reach over a full-size fire.

Pros

  • Compact 37.5 cm listed long edge
  • Low listed price of £19.99
  • Turner and tongs included
  • Listing says dishwasher safe

Cons

  • Only 32 reviews
  • UK feedback includes a too-short complaint
  • Model and manufacturer part numbers conflict

Best for: A Go-Anywhere, portable barbecue or small grill where storage space matters.

Less suitable: Deep kettles and full-size gas barbecues where extra reach is safer and more comfortable.

Weber Premium three-piece set with grill mitt

Rank 9

Weber Premium three-piece set with grill mitt

∼£79

Our view

This £78.68 bundle combines a three-piece grill set with a grill mitt, covering gripping, turning, basting and hand protection in one order. The tools are listed as dishwasher safe, while the mitt should be wiped with a damp cloth, so the bundle cannot be treated as having one care method. No amazon.co.uk review line is on the listing, and the rating is not copied from a related product. The listing also gives no centimetre length and no stated grill fit. The mitt covers the hand and forearm according to the product bullets. The listing claims it withstands 350°C and says wipe clean. That heat figure is not a tested result on this page. It is the most expensive kept listing and offers the weakest review evidence. Consider it only if you specifically need the mitt bundle and are comfortable checking the listing details at purchase.

Pros

  • Tongs, spatula, basting brush and grill mitt in one bundle
  • Tools are listed as dishwasher safe
  • Mitt is described as covering hand and forearm

Cons

  • No amazon.co.uk rating or review count on the listing
  • Highest listed price at £78.68
  • No stated tool length or grill fit
  • Tools and mitt need different care

Best for: A buyer who specifically wants a three-tool set packaged with a Weber grill mitt.

Less suitable: Value-led shoppers or anyone who requires review-backed performance and documented reach.

How we compared

Scores use a 0–100 editorial scale based on amazon.co.uk listing data and review signals from 15 October 2026. The top pick is the highest balanced score, not the highest star number. The best-value badge favours a capable core set at a low listed price with stronger evidence than one-review bundles. Specialist griddle tools are judged for flat-plate work and are not marked down merely for omitting grill tongs.

1

Amazon rating and evidence depth

35%

The star rating is read with the review count. A 5.0 from one review receives much less confidence than a 4.7 from thousands. A missing review line scores nothing here.

2

Tool suitability and clarity

25%

The set has to match its stated job, such as grate cooking, a portable grill or a flat plate. Model-number conflicts and unclear dimensions reduce the score.

3

Value at the listed GBP price

20%

Useful contents are judged against the recorded amazon.co.uk price. Bundle extras count only when they are relevant to the likely buyer.

4

Review sentiment and limitations

15%

Specific UK review praise and criticism are balanced. Missing pieces, side play, unsuitable surfaces and heat-damaged handles count where they are recorded.

5

Listing confidence

5%

Clear UK listing attributes score better than overseas terms, contradictory care information or a missing review line.

Weber barbecue tool set buying guide

Use length, contents and the cooking surface before you sort by price. The table ranks nine amazon.co.uk listings from 15 October 2026. It does not time a cook, and it does not treat a star rating as a lab result. Small-grill cooks and full-size gas cooks need different reach. A griddle needs plate tools, not grill tongs.

What is in a Weber barbecue tool set?

A Weber barbecue tool set is a small kit of hand tools for a barbecue you already own. The usual pair is tongs and a turner. A three-piece grill set adds a silicone basting brush. The griddle starter, model 6777, is a spatula, a scraper and a squeeze bottle, and it does not include tongs. Drip pans or a mitt do not change the tong. A silicone baster is not a wire grate brush. Length comes first. On Weber UK, model 6645 is a 35.5 cm spatula and 38 cm tongs.

Best for

  • Cooks who already own a kettle, a gas barbecue, a Go-Anywhere or a flat plate and need hand tools to match it
  • Buyers who will check the model code, the stated length and the review count before the shelf price

Not ideal for

  • Anyone choosing a barbecue itself, or expecting a star rating to be a lab test
  • Buyers who need a named steel grade, a British Standard mark, or a settled dishwasher line for model 6777

Mistakes to avoid

  1. 1

    Trusting a compact bullet

Model 6764 has a carton of 57.8 cm and a bullet that also says lightweight, compact and travel-sized. The carton is the measurement. The bullet is not.

  2. 2

    Merging two model codes

The portable listing prints 3400213 as the model number and 3401326 as the manufacturer part number. Weber UK sells those codes as different pairs, at £37.99 and £19.99. Do not treat them as one set.

  3. 3

    Ranking a one-review bundle above 6645

A 5.0 from one review, with no review text, is weaker evidence than 4.7 from 5,512 reviews. Buy cubes, drip pans or a mitt only if you need that extra. Do not read 6772’s 783 ratings as UK reviews.

What to weigh up

Length

High

Read a centimetre figure before you read the word compact. Model 6645 is the clearest pair in this set: Weber UK states a 35.5 cm spatula and 38 cm tongs, and the amazon.co.uk title prints 38 cm and 35 cm. Model 3401326 gives a 457 mm long edge, about 45.7 cm, without separate tool lengths. The portable pair lists 37.5 cm and has a UK review that the tools felt too short for some cooks. Models 6764 and 6772 sit in cartons about 58 cm, which suits a full-size gas barbecue if you can store them.

Contents and cooking surface

High

A grill pair is tongs and a turner. A three-piece grill set adds a silicone basting brush, as on 6764 and 6772. Model 6777 is spatula, scraper and squeeze bottle, with no tongs, so it does not stand in for a grate set. Ten drip pans or a mitt do not add a third cooking tool. The drip-pan title can look like a ten-tool set. It is a two-tool set plus pans. Use steel on grill bars, not on a non-stick electric plate, unless that plate allows it.

Which option suits you?

Three typical situations, each with a recommendation from this comparison.

Full-size gas cook

You cook on a long gas barbecue and can store tools about 58 cm long. Model 6764 is the Precision three-piece set, with tongs, a spatula and a basting brush, a 4.7 average from 420 reviews, and a Weber UK price of £62.99 that matches this amazon.co.uk listing.

Small grill or Go-Anywhere

You use a small charcoal grill, a balcony set-up or a Go-Anywhere. Model 6645 states 38 cm tongs and a 35 cm turner, with a 4.7 average from 5,512 reviews. Check the model code before you treat a portable title as this set.

Griddle or plancha cook

You cook on a flat plate and need a spatula, a scraper and a squeeze bottle. Model 6777 is that starter, with a 4.8 average from 204 reviews. It does not replace tongs for cooking over grill bars.

Common questions about Weber barbecue tool sets

Which Weber barbecue tool set is the top pick?
Model 6645, the Premium compact pair, is the top pick in this set. The title states 38 cm tongs and a 35 cm turner, and the amazon.co.uk average is 4.7 from 5,512 reviews. UK reviews also report thin steel, side play and a handle coming loose. A star rating is not a lab result. If you want the lowest listed price for a basic pair, model 3401326 is £19.99 with a 4.8 average from 136 reviews.
How much does a Weber barbecue tool set cost?
On 15 October 2026, amazon.co.uk prices in this set ran from £19.99 for the basic and portable pairs to £78.68 for the mitt bundle. Model 6645 was £26.04. The cube bundle was £29.50 and the drip-pan bundle was £30.70. Model 6777 was £49.97, model 6772 was £53.81 and model 6764 was £62.99. Weber UK listed 6645 at £46.99, the portable pair 3400213 at £37.99 and 6764 at £62.99. Those are snapshots. Prices move.
How long should Weber barbecue tools be?
Match the length to the grill, not to the word compact. Model 6645 prints 38 cm tongs and a 35 cm turner. Model 3401326 has a long edge of about 45.7 cm. Models 6764 and 6772 have cartons about 58 cm. A compact bullet on the long set is not a measurement. For a full-size gas barbecue, see the Weber gas barbecue comparison. That page is about the grill, not the hand tools.
Do I need a griddle set or a grill set?
Bars want tongs and a grill turner. A flat plate wants model 6777: spatula, scraper and squeeze bottle, with no tongs. Drip pans or a mitt do not change the tong. A silicone baster in a three-piece set is not a wire grate brush. Do not use steel on a non-stick electric plate unless the plate allows it. One UK review of model 6764 warns that the steel tools can scratch a Teflon-type surface.
Are Weber barbecue tool sets dishwasher safe?
Read the listing attribute for that ASIN. Models 6645, 3401326, 6764 and 6772, and the two bundles, say Yes. Model 6777 says No on amazon.co.uk, while some reviews say they use a dishwasher anyway. This page does not settle that conflict. The mitt bundle lists the tools as dishwasher safe and tells you to wipe the mitt with a damp cloth. Do not rest soft handles on a hot plate.
Should I buy a Weber tool bundle with a 5.0 rating?
Not on that star alone. The cube bundle and the drip-pan bundle each show 5.0 from one review, with no review text. Model 6645 is 4.7 from 5,512 reviews, including UK complaints about thin steel and side play. A one-review bundle is not a reason to prefer it to 6645. Buy the cubes or the ten drip pans only if you need those extras. The pans do not make the box a ten-tool set.
Does stainless on the listing name a steel grade?
No listing in this set states a steel grade. Stainless is not a certificate to a named British Standard. In England, utensils have to meet food-contact inertness under the Materials and Articles in Contact with Food (England) Regulations 2012, Regulation 4, which points to Regulation 1935/2004. The Food Standards Agency treats kitchenware as food-contact material. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 covers quality and description if pieces are missing or a handle fails.

Our verdict

Nine amazon.co.uk listings cover a basic pair, a portable pair, the compact 6645, two one-review bundles, the 6777 griddle starter, two Precision three-piece sets and a mitt bundle. Model 6645 is the top pick: 38 cm tongs and a 35 cm turner are printed in the title, and the 4.7 average rests on 5,512 reviews. UK reviews also report thin steel, side play and a loose handle. The best value is model 3401326 at £19.99, with a 4.8 average from 136 reviews. A 5.0 from one review on a bundle is not a reason to rank that bundle above 6645.
