Best Gardena sprinkler

Updated: 23 October 2026

You want one name, and the search results already disagree. Expert Reviews calls the AquaZoom M its all-round garden sprinkler when the pressure can reach about 18 m and up to 250 m². In this six-listing set the best Gardena sprinkler on an independent amazon.co.uk sample is a different head. Peter F. used the saved UK listings in the [Gardena sprinkler comparison](/hub/garden-watering/gardena-sprinkler), plus that magazine piece. Shelf prices are those amazon.co.uk figures, not a reviewer's older from-£22 line. Nothing here is a lab test. A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Best depends on the test you mean

A magazine can run a hose and name an all-rounder. A comparison of amazon.co.uk listings can prefer a star line whose review text is not copied onto other ASINs in the same set. Those tests are allowed to pick different models. Expert Reviews names the AquaZoom M if there is enough pressure for about 18 m and up to 250 m². Their from-£22 line and four-year warranty are not today's about £40.49 listing, which says two years. Gardena's UK page says five years after registration. On our rule the top pick is the AquaZoom compact and the best value is the Aqua S. Shape and minimum area stay on the buying guide.

Top pick in this set

The AquaZoom compact is the top pick because its amazon.co.uk line is its own: 4.5 out of 5 from 5,052 reviews. It is not a laboratory ranking, and it is not Expert Reviews' winner. At about £31.99 the title states 9–216 m², with spread, throw and flow variable, and soft nozzles. Gardena's UK page aims the round base at beds from a stated 9 m², which the Aqua bars in this set do not. The title says range 3–18 m and one bullet says 3 to a maximum of 12 m. Reviews praise the sliders on moderate pressure and say the head will not fix a very weak supply. One buyer has replaced the unit more than once. Skip it for a long rectangle already above 90 m² if you only want the cheapest needle-cleaned bar, and skip it when the tap is already too weak, which is Gardena sprinkler low water pressure.

Best value

The best-value pick is the Aqua S at about £15.99, the lowest price in the set. The listing states 90–220 m², range 7–17 m, width at a maximum of 13 m, a metal filter and a cleaning needle. It weighs 275 g. The line is 4.3 out of 5 from 8,883 reviews, and that text is shared with the Aqua M and the Aqua L. Shared reviews mention an even spray at modest pressure and a head that can wander unless you hold it down. Skip it under 90 m². A 7 m by 8 m rectangle is 56 m², so the saving is the wrong saving. Skip it if you need width set down to a few metres, because the UK page gives width as a maximum.

What is not the pick

The AquaZoom M is a fair magazine all-rounder, and it is still not our top pick. At about £40.49 it lists 9–250 m², range 3–18 m and spread 3–14 m, at 800 g, with its own 4.1 from 8,354 reviews. Buyers like the wide base and still describe about 6 m by 10 m, or about 7 m by 6 m. The Premium pulse is the circle tool, not the best oscillating sprinkler. At about £43.64 it lists up to 490 m² and up to 12.5 m, with its own 3.6 from 2,070 and reports of a head that sticks. The Aqua M and Aqua L step the floor to 110 m² and 120 m² on the same shared 8,883 review text as the Aqua S. Width and cleaning sit on Gardena Aqua vs AquaZoom.

Common questions

What is the best Gardena sprinkler in this comparison, and for whom?
On an amazon.co.uk sample that is not copied across ASINs here, the top pick is the AquaZoom compact at about £31.99, with 4.5 from 5,052 reviews. It suits beds from a stated 9 m² if you can live with 3–18 m in the title and 3–12 m in a bullet.
Why is that not the Expert Reviews winner?
Expert Reviews names the AquaZoom M when pressure is enough for about 18 m and up to 250 m². That is their hose-test all-rounder. Our sort prefers the compact because its review text is its own in this six. Both can be true. Their from-£22 line is not today's about £40.49 amazon.co.uk price.
What is the best-value Gardena sprinkler here?
The Aqua S at about £15.99, for a rectangle already inside 90–220 m². The 4.3 from 8,883 line is shared with the Aqua M and Aqua L, so the bargain is the price and the needle-cleaned bar, not a unique review count. Shared reviews say it can creep.
Who should skip the AquaZoom compact?
Skip it if you need one settled throw figure, if pressure is already too poor for any bar to sweep, or if the plot is a simple rectangle above 90 m² and about £15.99 is the budget. Also skip it if you wanted the heavier AquaZoom M and the tap can support a long throw.
Who should skip the Aqua S?
Skip it under 90 m², on a bed, or if you need the width brought down to a few metres. The UK page treats width as a maximum of 13 m. Skip it if you want a review sample that is not the shared Aqua block.
Is the Premium pulse the best for a large lawn?
Only if the large area is a circle or a sector. The listing says up to 490 m² and up to 12.5 m at about £43.64, on a sled. The score is 3.6 from 2,070, with stuck-head reports. For a large rectangle, it is the wrong pattern, however big the square-metre line looks.
